Most forums do not have enough information on Uniswap(UNI). Most people only know that Uniswap is a crypto trading platform like Binance, then that's all. Binance(BNB) coin is going up these few months. Does Uniswap(UNI) coin have a chance to go up? Does Uniswap(UNI) worth to invest?

Every exchange is good for investment but with this exchange you need ready eth as fees transaction, maybe if you have enough and much eth balance as fees transaction you can hold and save assets in this exchange, but I like with an exchange without higher fees like Uiswap for saving and trading my altcoin.

UNI started with $4 that's what the price was when they airdropped to early users of Uniswap. The price right now is more than $30 it really must be a good investment and this is now in V3. It gives the privacy of ETH users while in the biggest market. Any ERC20 coins can be listed in UNI that is why it becomes big. Once the transaction fee will be fixed by ETH update, the exchange will a lot bigger.

I am not brave enough to invest in UNI token in the long term, while we know that many altcoin will not be suitable for long-term investment. But I might consider trading in the short term and make something out of the price fluctuation.

NFA, OP may be able to invest in UNI token as I think these token have had good traction so far from trader and the total supply currently circulating is 519,857,388 or 50+% of the maximum supply. Since UNI can also be traded on many exchange today, it is still possible to see it reach a new ATH in the future.

You are wrong on this, check the internet and the search bar here and you'll find much information about Uni, it was big news when they airdropped, they airdropped hundreds or even thousands worth of dollars of UNI and out of nowhere they are one of the top 10 coins in the market and continue moving, they are the leading Decentralized Exchange in the industry, it's still a good investment and worth adding to anyone's portfolio.

The fees should be fixed since many DEX are aiming to be on top and they are under BSC which is a cheaper network.
With regards to UNI as you investment, I see this one as a good one since they made it to the top and I’m sure they’ll keep aiming for a higher highs, hold at least good money with UNI and you wont regret it. I heard that there's nothing really special by owning UNI therefore the price could hardly go up in the future but I think UNI itself could go up when ETH has resolved its gas problem (the main reason why people avoid dex at the mean time) and by then the platform gonna retain its userbase again. Uniswap works well, but its transaction fees are worryingly high. Transaction fees are the main hindrance to its development recently. Unless ETH has solutions to minimize transaction fees or Uniswap has any way to eliminate exchange fees on their platform, trading here is never a good option. Once other transactional solutions solve this problem, Uniswap will be left out, so investing in Uni now is not a good option.

Back in the past, there are already some DEX'es that are made but they didn't gain that much popularity like how Uniswap has right now.

They started at an airdrop which is what I regretted with because I didn't saw it and now they are the most popular DEX right now. What I like about UNI is you can just exchange your ERC20 tokens into other ones in a very very simple way and the best is that you don't need any KYC to do it. Uniswap is one of the tokens that I like to invest my money with and I'm bullish with it in the long term. This token and PancakeSwap (Uniswap version of Binance) are the ones who I'm bullish with.

Now to answer your question, in the long run Uniswap will have a chance to go up to ~$200 for me (long term prediction and I'm bullish with it). Uniswap is worth it to invest. Just buy when it goes down though.

Uniswap is different from binance please, uniswap is a decentralized exchange while binance is a centralized exchange, the two are two different type of products running on the same industry.
Even though they both operate as an exchange, binance bnb should never be compared to uniswap uni, because bnb powers not just the binance exchange, it also powers binance smart chain which is a blockchain on its own just like Ethereum, uni only powers the uniswap decentralized exchange, nothing more, DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF LOOKING AT BNB TO INVEST IN UNI because uni can never be on the same price level as bnb no matter what come may, never invest in uni expecting it to grow like bnb did cus I don't think that will ever happen though anything is possible in crypto, also consider the fact that bnb is only a little above 100 million in total supply while uni is 1billion or thereabout, and if we check coinmarketcap, uni has more coins in circulation much more than bnb which in turn is more scarce than uni, so bnb's high growth is justified and uni has also done quite alright as well.

Demand for BSC based Pancakeswap has increased due to higher ETH gas price. Being the dex on ethereum is not of a great value at this moment, every coin is doing great with green candles right now so we can't say that UNI is great for future or anything. If the transaction fees gets low then it might have a future but till then I'll go to uniswap only as a last resort trading.

I do like uniswap, it has increased a lot in price, it was around 3-4 dollars when I first saw it (maybe cheaper before that I haven't checked) and I think I could have bought in that price as well, I had some money saved aside for good gems like uni token but I just didn't believe it would be this good, I was wrong.

Now I am looking at it and many people prefer it, the time for centralized exchanges coming to an end, we of course have local exchanges where people turn their fiat into crypto, and crypto into fiat in their bank accounts, those will always exist because we need a method to turn our fiat into crypto, however the idea of crypto to crypto trading became more and more decentralized. I do not know how big uniswap+pancakeswap and all the other DEX became so far, but I think they are getting to beat all the centralized ones step by step.

Are you serious to dump all ETH for UNI? In my opinion, you don't need to sell all your ETH for UNI. ETH is still the most recommended altcoin both for investment or trading. Although UNI price has a chance to go $100, it should take a long time and no guarantee to achieve this year. I assume the price of Ethereum probably rises up faster than UNI as it is the most favorite altcoin. So, why don't keep your ETH, at least hold a half?

You are right, putting all of the money in one crypto coin is very risky, diversification is the only way to make your portfolio safer in cryptocurrency volatility. Beside ETH, actually holding BNB is a good choice too. So, ETH, BNB, UNI, CAKE, and other good altcoins will make our portfolio big in the future.

You probably don't have sufficient gas imo, try to add more gas to it since if you're sending erc20 it gonna requires a lot more gas then ordinary ETH. that's the disadvantage of using swap and there could be other error that you'd encounter since the whole system of a dex is automated but definitley worth it.

It definitely is, and add 2 times execution it's gonna double the fee required for you to exchange and not without taking into account the fee needed for you to move your swapped coin to other address. But the current gas price which is 50 gwei per gas in my opinion make it viable enough for us to use these swap platform and in these recent days I've been using the swap platform.

Wrong decision if want to sell ethereum for Uni, I think most profitable ethereum than Uni but if have fresh fund could buy UNI because still lower price right now. A completely wrong view, investing in UNI does not mean you will use Uniswap. You can buy UNI on whatever exchange you are using. Also, I do not agree on the view of using Uniswap, I figure it is necessary to pay transaction fees that can be more than $100, but if you have accepted such transactions then profit from the that translation must be many times greater than that cost.

I see that as a huge disadvantage for them against CAKE where it is much cheaper. As far as i am concerned, uniswap is still the best decentralized exchange (DEX) in the cryptocurrency space. I have invested in it since last year and got a lot of money as returns. But I do not think it is a good idea to buy the coin now, because the price is already expensive and you might not be able to get good ROI from it.

Indeed, it's now becoming so difficult for small traders to carry on the high gas fee. But uniswap devs are already working on L2 solution which will boost UNI price as well. So, UNI will rebound when market will be bullish again, IMHO.

Uniswap is the current leader in Dex but this market is too competitive and new projects come often. Unlike Centralized exchange, Decentralized exchange needs to focus on the execution and contract more than other promotions and contest. Once mastered, the running cost of decentralized exchange is quite low and many new business are being attracted towards it. Uniswap's token is already in a high price range and any competition could hurt it.

The gas fee makes it close to impossible to trade on Uniswap. Even when you trade amounts around $1000 the gas fee still is close to 10% of the whole investment. That is crap and just not feasible. It is time for a solution to that problem.

UNI does have the potential to continue to grow but in my opinion UNI is not a good altcoin because UNI chose the wrong blockchains because ethereum has a relatively slow transaction speed coupled with very large transaction fees
i remember in 2020 i spent 50$ just to make transactions on ethereum blockchains
you better re-analyze and think again if you are going to invest in UNI tokens

For long term, I think Uniswap can survive and will continue to exist, an alternative choice if you have a little money to invest and add to your portfolio, but the defi hype seems to have passed, now the hype is flip to NFT. someday the cycle will take effect and the defi will hype again and the UNI price will return to its last ATH. In the future, Defi Finance will be one of the alternatives for many people to invest and benefit from interest yields.

we can see such a good past of UNI. Of course, there will be considerations to buy and hold it for the long term.
but now I think the market is more interested in CAKE. or BUNNY. CAKE may be more aggressive for some staking programs. so does BUNNY.

but apart from that, UNI is a very suitable asset for us to have in long-term investment planning.

I've done a handful of trades using the Uniswap DAapp platform within a couple of wallet apps that I use and I can't fault the platform ^{(the ETH TX fees are steep to say the least)} but I'm wondering what benefit there is to owning the platform's own Token - better TX fees? 

Better exchange rates?  Don't get me wrong, I'd be interested in getting some if I could find out what the benefit was.

First of all, Uniswap is not similar to Binance. Binance is a completely centralised exchange, as opposed to Uniswap, that is decentralised. Apart from the exchange function, you can stake your assets here. I do like the new version of Uniswap. It provides us with the opportunity to earn more in liquidity pools. I have been attempting to use the uniswap platform inside of DApps such as coinomi and Trust Wallet without success - even when I set the transaction fees to the highest settings (usually $30+ on a $5 transaction).  Everything looks to be in order, just the transactions themselves fail to be completed.

now it is possible and I agree with you that it is one of the most sought after exchanges, but it must be remembered that the high fees uniswap, does make many competitors appear that are no less good and cost less. I firmly believe that if uniswap doesn't improve like ethereum did then other competitors will emerge and people will slowly abandon the high fees. so uniswap is already enjoying the good fortune of having an early start.

High competition in exchange certainly has an impact on everything, for that they must always innovate and cannot because of high traffic which is blamed for high costs.

I tried uniswap for some time but the investment rewards are much lower compared to other popular defi and staking platform like pancakeswap or venus.
They have a strong volume and a great dex for eth based tokens but with higher fees and less interesting interface, I moved all my coins to pancakeswap and bunnyswap. I occasionally use it to buy/sell some eth tokens.
