Couldn't you see this OP is inactive for a long time? But, you people are still bumping this inactive thread.

@All_newbies are here, If the seller does not have a good reputation, then it is never right to do face-to-face transactions. In the case of reputed sellers, the incidence of scams is not very common. If the seller is not trusted, then it is not uncommon for a face-to-face transaction to be a victim of fraud.

IMO multisignature is more secured than a conventional escrow system. Better you could do, use an escrow and do multi-signature transaction when the seller has no previous portfolio. It is secured and safe for both parties.

I think this thread is better lucked since the thread starter have been inactive for a while now.
