Title: Fake Solstarter Token Sale[Scam please be aware]
Post by: cryptoaddictchie on April 30, 2021, 07:32:10 AM
What hapenned: As you all know there is a potential project called solstarter and as I've scanned this fake site doing a token sale is really alarming. The original website of solstarter is www.solstarter.org and if you visit the site obviously you will see on their social account that there is no sale activity being done. So the sale happening on this one is really a fake one. Also the process is so lame.

Original website:www.solstarter.org

Fake Website:
Code:
https://solstarter.fi/

ETH wallet address of scammer: 0x0dc545C12E95983B97120EcEEc3AcbaB63159800

NOTE: the wallet have now 96 eth on this address I'm not sure if some got victimised already but probably the scammer is sending eth on his own from his other wallet to make looks like believable but I believe there are some who got send already on this.

Please help report this website to turn down. Big mkney have already been stolen.

Thanks for sharing, OP. There are a lot of scammers taking advantage of the project.

I am posting a screenshot in desktop mode.

The website itself looks kind of sketchy.

Feels bad that the wallet has a large amount of ETH already, I assume that they have a decent amount of victims regarding this scam and I feel bad a little to the victims and I hope that they will learn their lesson and hopefully this is the first time that they have become a victim because it is understandable that they got scammed but a second or third time is saying something, nice catch OP even though the scammers are pretty happy with the money that they have stolen already.

Actually mate if you visit the original website of solstarter you can noticed the difference of the interface and this fake one is looks really cheap and obviously sketchy.

Its gonna be hard to return to investors those money as they don't aware that this is a scam. At first glance it will really look likes connected with all the social account but if you think about it. Why there is no announcement on their other pages right?

I actually checked it first and saw that they are not yet on the stage on token selling so it's immediately a red flag. I'm sad that people didn't even check or did their own research first before investing.

Maybe the reason was that they have employed slick tongued charlatans to promote their token to make it look like they are really promising something good. We know that a lot of people are too polite to refuse people that knows their way with words. And they might've ride with the current run of a lot of cryptocurrency so it did look legitimate.

It could be that case too. But I highly doubt if they are going to go legit in this crypto space. I don't think you can fake the transaction on it to just say they are good. Or is it? Maybe examining the wallet address could give answers.

It seems that the address that the OP posted has removed all the funds already. Leaving only 1 ETH in the address. Cashed out maybe? Didn't check where the transactions went through.

Meaning possible scammed happened already. That's a quick money for a fake solana starter presale. Damn this people I wonder how much was their budget for pulling a big trap like this. Somehow hose degen guys will probably ape on this as solana are pretty hype now actually.
