Title: New tricks of fake Elon Musk's Twitter giveaway!

What happened: Fake giveaway.

The tricks seem to me new. I haven't noticed such tricks before. Until I read the web address correctly I was confused. Scammers managed a fake page that is looking at original tweets of Elon Musk. I was surprised when I see a blue tick mark beside Tweet. Then I read the website then I realized the fact. I was confused since the scammer promoting a short link in Telegram. See the below picture.

The first website will drive you into the above page which is quite confusing for newbies and the second website will be redirected to another page same looks like Elon medium page where scammer store scam script. The scammer just has been using the same script but seems they are changing promoting system and making us more confused. So better to stay away from the free money offer.

Hah yeah, they made website looking like a twitter page.Scammers are always figuring out new ways to scam. Worst of all, even though this is not very good scam attempt, some will probably fall for this.  By the way, you stumbled upon this scam attempt on Twitter, or it showed up in Google?

Out of curiosity, I checked BTC and ETH address they are using, and so far on BTC address there is 0.015 BTC from 1 transaction , while ETH is still empty.

Here are addresses if anyone else wanna check it out occasionally.

ETH

Yeah, found something like that its the whole page copied just like static twitter website/page.

And the most alarming is that there are still people who are probably new to this and got lured and scammed, I saw some tweets/replies below the scammers' tweet saying that they sent already, posting the txid which is really real and some are complaining that they're waiting for several minutes already without getting paid **facepalm**

Just want to another website link with the same tricks. The scammer is working hard to get succeed.
Website: https://eloncoins.space (https://eloncoins.space)

They just create this page today and start spamming in Telegram.

Most probably someone falls into this trap or a scammer makes deposits by themselves to attract us. But seems 0.015BTC has moved to some other wallet.

My friend almost got fooled by these links circulating around. Good thing that he mentioned it to me. There is a high probability that people would fall on this scheme especially if without the familiarity with crypto.

Yeah, they won't give up easily once they found a new trick, and especially if they see that its working. They gonna keep milking it for some time.

Yeah, maybe someone actually got scammed for 0.15 BTC and if thats the case, then their little trick really paid off, as 0.015 BTC is decent amount of money. What scammers sometimes do is that they send some BTC by themselves, in order to trick those that wants to check explorer. At least ETH address is completely empty, with no transactions.

I often see the spread of this fake giveaway link on telegram which is neglected, even I am happy that you have shared in this thread, therefore we can awaken especially those who do not know about this kind of fake giveaway.
Hopefully no one falls into the same hole I think this is a caution for beginners especially those who don't know so that more will be aware of all this.

Not just your friends, there are many people in the crypto market who believe in such giveaways and send their money to scammers. Luckily your friend survived this scam just because discussing the matter with you. I have seen many crypto users who do not discuss with anyone about that website before joining any kind of fake giveaway.
As a result, they easily fall into the trap of scammers and give their hard earned money to the scammers. So it is safe to talk to an expert before investing any money on any type of website.

Now there is a lot of crypto fever, there will definitely be many beginners who join crypto, meaning they will look for information about it even though they want to earn faster, now those who don't know will certainly be deceived in this device but it is clear if the beginner is near your environment then you can prevent him from doing this kind of thing. Obviously multipliers like this there are many tricks but the scammers will continue to try to spread everywhere to find victims so I think for now we can only prevent here and around who knows while outside there will probably be a lot of devices with their money going to be lost.

I'm experienced in tracing BTC until scammers cash out at exchanges. If someone is a victim send me the address and I can have a look if it can be traced already.

there is a database where you can send your report or just check if an address has been previously used for something illegal... https://www.bitcoinabuse.com/
A very useful resource for
