I made it as an implementation of the thought experiment. In theory if demand of a scarce recourse goes up, so will it's price, so what I made was a rare recourse with artificial demand. to do this, I limited the gas for each block to a VERY low amount, and I increased the difficulty to mine it. This creates both scarcity, and demand, thus IN THEORY driving up the price. This has not been tested with an active experiment, merely passive observation. I want to put this to the test. Thus GasCoin, for now, it is a cheap alternative to ethereum, or even ethereum classic or Expanse for that matter. but each block can only hold so many transactions(less than an ethereum block), so, if people develop on GasCoin, that means demand, and scarcity + demand = value. WHY YOU SHOULD DEVELOP WITH GASCOIN if people do develop, and get users, they will earn GasCoin, also, the first 10 developers get free GasCoin to make dapps. There is also that if I am right and to be fair that is a big "if", you would get a lot of future returns on that GasCoin you earned. As you have mentioned, your idea is somehow an alternative to Eth2.0 after the next update sheduled for next July. So why should anybody invest time/efforts/money building a new network for almost the same goals of Eth2.0? If you think your idea worth it, post about it in full details in the Project Developemennt board. In my opinion, if he has no resources to develop this project and don't have the team that is capable of delivering tangible results, better abandon this idea. You can only compete with the existing network like ETH if you have the means to materialize your ideas. But if not, it will just fall to another crap project. And we don't need that anymore here. Even if you think of possible advance features, if it will not be taken by the public, it will not be worth your effort. Just look at those projects which tried to compete or surpass bitcoin, a lot of them are offering over-the-edge features, and yet, they can't topple the position of bitcoin. And I am hoping you can be attracting people of the same mind who can help you develop the whole ecosystem for GasCoin. I can sense that the main idea here is to counteract the seemingly ridiculous gas fees in the Ethereum network just as Eth is pumping continuously. To be taken seriously by a critical number of people, you must make sure that ideas are turned into workable and practical applications. I am not a technical person and there remains many things I don't fully understand with the blockchain and cryptocurrency so all I can do is wishing you the best. We are just trying to clarify things to OP as he seems to have some ambiguities about projects in the crypto market despite he knows a lot about this network. I guess this is the reason why op post his topic in the Altcoin Discussions board just looking for advices and not really sure about his idea. I think this is good to have such big dreams but it would be better if it can be more realistic. What OP is looking for is someone who will market it and at the same time create an application where the coin can be integrated. Why create a team and recruit team members. Give the benefits according to their task, not just giving them free this and that. First thing, they are developing the ecosystem of your coin which is much better than just creating the coin alone. Without them, you would find it hard for your coin to be known by people or be competitive in the market.
