Title: Hotels Without Walls and Roofs
Post by: CryptoDens on May 04, 2021, 04:44:20 AM

Unique Hotel managed by local residents and has a group of “modern butlers” who welcome guests and delivery trays of food and drink, with an overnight stay costing 250 Swiss Franc (€275/US$314) per night.

WOW, I amaze this kind hotel, because I like mountains and hills, with the air that is clean and cool.

My question is:
1. Is the price offered reasonable?
2. Are you interested in staying there?
3. If you are staying there, how many days will you stay?
4. Whom will you invite to stay there?

they are not selling rooms..
.. they are selling a concept.

it looks good in picture form.. choosing a good day to photograph it.
but in the practical world its a useless concept.

its for the 'oh this is unique i should try it. just to say i done something different' crowd
there are these things. maybe you heard of them.. rain, wind, snow.. if you have heard of them then you must already see the problems

its not a niche of proper hotel vacation. its a niche of glamour picnic
why sit on a tartan pattern blanket on the grassy hill eating sandwiches. when you can lay on a bed eating steak

its one step up from putting a picnic table on a hill

Perfect answer here , +1 for me.

Imagining why would someone needs to pay for this when you can just travel with your partner and camp together and bring folding bed in mountain side and sleep fpr free?

because this concept can be abused , because you can be exposed from people who will just take photos of your overnight activities and post it online for payments.

First time i hear about such a hotel, sounds very interesting. Here are my thought on it.

1. Depends on the country, but for Switzerland these are definitely reasonable prices. Switzerland is really expensive.
2. I would like to try it out.
3. Probably just a weekend, 2-3 days.
4. My girlfriend

3. If you are staying there, how many days will you stay?
4. Whom will you invite to stay there?
My answer for those questions would be:
1. I don't really know since it is the first of it's kind.
2. I would think about it since I have some questions about it too.
3. Probably 1 night since it is just for experience.
4. My wife or my friends.
My question would be,
1. Is it safe out there?
2. How do we know that we have our own privacy since it is open?

1. Price varies from country. If it's from a first world country, you expect that it's quite expensive.

2-3. Likely, just for a day or two.

4. My wife.  :P

But is it safe from bugs and other insects on that hill since it's an open bed?

Interesting.
How would the humans, bed and other delicate things that are exposed to the elements/weather handle rain, sun, bird poops etc?
Is there an underground shelter for them, or is there something they build that can automatically pop up to cover them, or does the whole setup quickly folds into something portable/mobile when a button is pressed?

I definitely like the environment but safety rather than fantasy has to be considered.

And they charge an exorbitant price, that would be preposterous because you literally took out the concept of hotel services, it was meant to house someone but if it is outside then what the hell is it then? I get that they want to be cut above the rest but I find this idea hilarious, what if it rains or what if there are strong winds, what happens next?

If they will Give this for free then i would be happy to try and experience  ;D ;D ;D

Why will i pay for a Room that is not a real Room? I am paying hotels for Room and this is not a room.

For 1 time experience its all fun, provided there are no bugs, ants, mosquitoes in the night. Definitely, it will be a hit initially as the experience to stay right in nature with open to air bed is different and not have being experienced by people. Good to try out and also a smart idea for some adventure night.

I'm curious if room service is available in a hotel like this. Is it possible to have room service without having actual... rooms?  ;D

Seems ridiculous, I wouldn’t pay for that rubbish. If you want something better then google pods at the Northern Lights, Iceland.

I think the rate for the overnight stay is quite expensive...
although it is expensive but will be an interesting experience too, maybe trying to stay 1 night is not a problem. The concept they offer is quite unique and adventurers will certainly be very curious about the experience of staying there.

how come is this called hotel lol but this looks verry cold at night because its setup was at the top of the mountain and its dangerous because there are wild animals in the mountains that could attack you when your in deep sleep .

My question is:
1. Is the price offered reasonable? - for sure it wasnt . setup like this are  expensive and celebrities are often spotted in these places

2. Are you interested in staying there? - to be honest no . im contented on what i have now hehe

3. If you are staying there, how many days will you stay? - if ever , i think i can only last a day because i dont like cold weathers .

4. Whom will you invite to stay there? - wife of course . cold weather is perfect for a honey moon or to make love .

This is an idea how to make more money with very less investment and the hotel you are talking about made it possible with their marketing strategies, there are some rich people who loves to spend their money on useless and crazy things and this is one of their kind to spend.

This does not look very appealing to me because I am someone who likes to sleep with my bedroom door locked and with no doors I cant stay here.

Indeed , and i am willing to try but not willing to spend  ;D ;D ;D

actually i am a very private person but the concept of this attracts me so i wonder how it feels in that expose location overnight .

I have been in camping but inside my tent and not outside  :)

I'd say it's more like camping without a tent :P

rain, wind, snow..
Privacy, thiefs, bears... You're basically food on display!

yes, that was also the first time I thought of when I wanted to spend the night in an open hotel.
but in mountains like that I am sure they have thought about it, everything bad is anticipated so that bad things will not happen.

I don't know why the OP opens this thread just now, because according to the website:

https://zerorealestate.ch/de/

"Dear guests
Due to the current situation and lack of resources, the Zero Real Estate project cannot take place this year. We look forward to welcoming you next year - where the only star is you.
Your Zero Real Estate Team"

I mean, it's funny, but right now they don't offer their services.

I guess they will offer it in summer only and when there is a good weather forecast, otherwise you have to be a real freak to go there. With good weather it can be an interesting experience. Like camping but without a tent and in a more luxurious way. I imagine that there will be some property nearby to store belongings and that they will have something designed for security. Anyway, that's Switzerland, not the Bronx.

So this mean that 2021 is not their year? and will resume in 2022?

Well the motive of  OP here is to Hear the opinion of people about this, if they are willing to stay or not, meaning this looks like a Poll?

Yes they say they are not offering that service this year. They also ask you to stay informed by subscribing to their newsletter. In theory it seems that they will offer the service again next year but only time will tell.

I also think it's a ridiculous idea, sleeping in the open field like that and having to pay $ 314 per night, not interested in the offer. I'm one of
those who need privacy, so I can't sleep peacefully in the open field like that. I prefer hotels that maintain the privacy of their customers,
so I don't like the idea of a hotel without walls and roofs.

maybe because they find out that this did not lure user/ or there is no appeal in staying in this joke type of hotel offer?

 ;D ;D ;D

I don't understand two things:
1. Why are there slippers on the floor? Where to go in these slippers?
2. Where to go to the toilet when needed?

In principle, I could spend one night there. The main thing is that there would be no rain.
