Title: What really makes a cryptocurrency successful
Post by: adekogbe on May 04, 2021, 11:11:55 PM
I wonder what really makes coin or token successful in the markets and the reason for this is because a lot of people state reasons like
"how good the project is, what the idea is all about, team etc)

But the truth is a large percentage of investors dont understand this technical terms when they read it and for all the claims of good team members, no one can really know how good a projects team is until the project progresses

So this makes me wonder what makes some projects instant success and gives them immediate acceptance from the cryptocurrency community

Hype?

As far as i know the legit project that can be accepted by the community easily already published by so many press release.
So many investors didn't know about DYOR. They were only doing herding activities.
The legit team can be seen from how active they are in developing their project. I think that could be the reason. A legit project will get massive demand instantly from the crypto communities.

It is the hype of the community. If there is one person believing in the project, he will spread out his words to other and the process repeats. However, they might be only succeed in a short term because no institutional investors or knowledgable holders want to involve in long term trading. Sooner or later, a coin will explode

There seems to be a theme common to successful projects and a lot of it is down to promotion and marketing.
Most successful projects through their promotions have been able to build a massive following and vibrant community that is optimistic about the project's chances for success. When all this is combined with a team of professionals, partnership with top companies and exchanges and interest from large investors, the project often succeeds

The exchange where it is being listed helps to the success of a project. Today, we all knew that Binance is like the standard exchange of projects for it to be successful.
Upon listing and announcement, investors will catch as much as they can before it finally is on Binance and that makes the coin had a greater volume and liquidity, thanks to Binance and other reputed exchanges.

This is only one facet of why a specific project can attain success. The major factor for me is its actual usage among crypto users or even to ordinary public. If the app or product can be used or applied in their everyday life, there is a chance that the project can achieve success. Because without use case, it is hard for a project to hit it off in the market. If they will just rely on traders, they will not survive. So aside from the exchanges, should be the actual developments of the platform itself. And how they can influence the community.

I don't know how you provide instant trust because you only need trust if you need immediate acceptance. For some more trust now, we agree to buy new altcoins from the exchange instead of any websites. Actually, without a good exchange, only new can be successful. There is only a strong partnership which can help, I believe. Anyhow, show us some trust that new projects will work as mentioned roadmap.

From my experience, i learnt that projects starting with a bounty all are almost a failed projects. Of course we can't generalize it, but i am sure that the successful coins are the ones backed by a real project and it's an utility token to maintain the running apps. In this box, i can mention little to few examples of successful cryptos like ether and BNB. Note that we concluded that they are successful after a long journey of work and updates, but if you are looking for a project to invest in, better to dyor according to your background knowledge in a specific field.

Mostly successful coin or token in the market are owned by billionaires and or a well-known person in the world. This happened because this was surely organized, well consulted by experts and adviser in a crypto were most things needed in a project that has big impact in the economy.

Apart from the hype, influential people also have an important part to play in this. in the past we often saw experts advising new projects and the project was gaining popularity. and support from major exchanges also has another important part. if these three things are owned by the new project, it can be ascertained that the project will be successful.

its true that large portion of people who were supposed to be investor of the project don't really know the technicality of the project but atleast many of them know what the project's product and what makes it stand out than other.
Although some people probably just buy some coin without even know the project like what happened when a coin got listed in an exchange and some people just buy the coin out of the blue without even knowing the coin itself but that's like only small portion of people, the rest of them usually able to distinguish the project and find the quirk of the project. like for example, there's reason why swap tokens become very generic because most of people think they could repeat the pump that has happened to uniswap or such.

hype was an important factor in the success of the project. There are many ways to start the hype, such as collaborating in front of experienced advisors who have a large following. or start a lunchpad at a large exchange. this way is very powerful to increase popularity.

What really makes Cryptocurrency successful is that it is a digital currency that can be used as both a store of value and a mode of exchange.
Although only beginning to take notice as a legitimate payment method, it has established itself as a new asset class over the past decade.
That's about to my knowledge

For a project to be successful it needs two things, good marketing and real world utility. Take 0xMR for example, it's mineable, can be used in yield farming, can be used on several casinos and is building a mixer that will require 0xMR for payment.

A project created by a very well-known person will be accepted by the community or even newcomers. Remember about the majority of big projects created by the guys that have massive popularity among the crypto investors.
We can take DOT. This project accepted by the community instantly caused by one of ethereum core developer member is also working on DOT.
I can't also deny if marketing and usability will be playing a lot to make the project to be a successful project.

In my opinion, Every Coin will be successful if it has Action in the real world, has a solid Team and Community. where the coin is listed is also very influential.

real investors should know that, and choose the coin or token because of its function, and professional team. however, most people are the type to choose coins based on the movements and developments that occur. for example, such as choosing a coin because of the signal that it can increase, and so on. however, what makes a cryptocurrency successful is the people behind it as well as the users, in short, the need and demand is great, and that refers to the function of the coin / token.

While in the bullrun it is difficult to decide because even the trash are getting attention, I still think that with enough market research and due diligence we are able to find the top projects that will eventually become successful. In the bear market this is easier as the scams are less and the working teams of developers are obvious.
Being succesful in the short term doesn't mean a cryptocurrency will be relevant after two or three years.

That is why today doge has reached $0.67.
Most people are interested in how to make a profit without any effort. Whereas, if you spend some time in this forum, you can discover how things are progressing over time. When the prices were low in the market, nobody was interested in crypto, but since January dozens of guys have asked me how to invest. So, things do not work like that here, you should be active all the time, otherwise you will remain unaware of innovations, which means you have already lost too much.

Projects will be successful because of the hardworking, commited and dedicated team to do their very best, investors whose trusted to the potential of the coins and to the supporters for spreading the informations and news. I think these are the ingridients for the success of the projects. You as an investor, must be observant to the flow of the crypto world for you to be able to make profit and to avoid scammers.

If the project really good it will be easy to success. When the project has a good development, good team it will bring good partnership and everyone gonna love that project and invest on it.
But i think the project should also have some real use case where the product offered by such project could shine, I've seen countless project whose team behind it was very committed in developing their project but no one really used it so they fall and bankrupt.
See the example of swap service (dex) despite clone of it coming out everyday it's still selling like a hot cake because its use case is strong and that's what defi  tokens offered quite frequently.

If you mean small investors from the forum who do not have large amounts of money, then it is possible. But projects want and attract large investors who fully report their actions and their investments. And if they invest in cryptocurrency, then they understand where they are and what risks there are.

if they ask questions that means they have no idea in the project or they can have an idea but they are not confident and wants to confirm it by the judgement of other people .
a good team can have a big impact in the success of a project but only if the team that claims they are professional are legit and not lazy
. instant success can happen if they completed the first level of thier plans but what want is project that is succesful from start to finish  .

Personally, I believe that if a project is in great demand among the entire community, then, accordingly, the project will be very popular in this market. This means that this project has attracted many investors who have invested their funds and want to profit from this project. This follows from this, because I believe that the cryptocurrency created by this project is starting to rise in price, and the project is becoming very popular. And it turns out that the project came to fruition because it became very successful and many made excellent profits.

Same answer with some people here, it is hype. Because some projects still not developed first before they can get money from ICO or any other crowdfunding ways. For me who not really deep in a coin analysis, i will look people's response, but it is tricky because some people really shill the coin with their own reason. That is what we must filter it.

That's the use case and I agree to you that a project is successful when people are using it. Because cryptocurrencies should be used as the normal currency that we use.
If a product successfully being preferred by a community to be used or a company, that's already a success to them.

One of the factors of a successful project is by means of proper and accurate promotion. This will help the project grow better by having a good vision and mission of course.
And do not forget also the success of the project can also be seen where the coins will be listed in the exchange.

That way, investors are not really scared about investing since they know the kind of people backing the project for success

The team is super-important. In this space, a very important quality, beyond the technical ability of the members, is simply honesty and compromise. It is very difficult to measure and you can´t get into other´s brains to see their intentions. Just notice that potentially a team could do nothing and have a nice lifestyle with the investments and there is no legal claim that can stand a chance of success since they would only need to demonstrate that they have tried to do something...

A good way to understand a project is to research the past works of the members and such... but that is far from the means of the average investor.

This is quite an interesting take on the topic, some projects will perform well in the short term but will fail in the long run, and for that reason even after a project has seen initial success, every existing or new investor should always keep track of what developments are ongoing with the project and if the visions are still viable in the long run

Investors aren't that blind to know if the projects devs are really working hard or not to their project.

If every promised updates delivered on time without any hassle or trouble, expect that the community will consider putting trust on this project.

And importantly, the market price. It's no secret that some projects boost their popularity because of the price. If the project devs aren't working seriously or adding some liquidity on their pools, there is no way the price will boost and attract some traders. That was a team effort.

So this makes me wonder what makes some projects instant success and gives them immediate acceptance from the cryptocurrency community
one of the most likely reasons is the current state of the market.  many investors dare to take risks because there is an opportunity for a pump to occur.  even for projects where the product is not clear, the whitepaper has not been completed, and only relies on airdrops to develop the community, it can cost more than 3 $.  this has happened a lot recently in the solana ecosystem.  The risk is quite large because recently scammers have started to exploit this situation to cheat.

To be successful in a short time, one of them can be directly registered on a large exchange like Binance, just look at recently TKO has gained a place in the crypto market, which is basically a fairly new token.
Whatever altcoins are rumored to be on a Binance list, most of them will be hype.

I've seen many projects like this, Most of them are DeFi projects. There are many projects that easily got their hard cap and don't even have a whitepaper to defend the project. It's just this bull run that makes their investors think that they can potentially acquire good profit from it despite the risk of getting a rug on a project. Many investors gained a hefty profit and also lose plenty of money because of this projects.

what really makes cryptocurrency successful is :
1. the project has a good idea and is useful for the long term, so that it makes investors interested to investing in the project
2. the project has a great team and good partners, so that it makes investors interested to investing in the project
3. the project always has progress at any time and does not just make promises, so that investors will believe to investing in the project

but the most important thing is influencer doing promotion, for example is Elon Musk who always tweet about Dogecoin and now the price of Dogecoin has increased very high and become top 5 on coinmarketcap ;D.

The success of a cryptocurrency depends on many variables. Sometimes this is about the realism of the crypto money project, the quality of its team, and sometimes it is related to the successful advertising work it does. sometimes it has no good side, but it can be successful only with the quality of the place in which it is listed. sometimes it can attract a lot of people thanks to the pump that it has done just once. but it cannot provide permanence in this way. In order to be permanent, I think it is necessary that the infrastructure, the team that created it and the project it presented or its successes should be realistic.

Are you sure that most investors doesn't know technicalities? For sure there are people who doesn't mind off much but there are some who are really mindful on that part.

Asking out on what are the factors for us to tell that a certain project does have potential? Of course it would be talking about relevance and actual usage.

Most of the time we are talking about fees and transactions times on where most people do really mind off.

It is true that majority of the users in the cryptocurrency space does not understand the technical terms and majority of them will be bounty hunters who are not interested in learning about the technical things but they are aware of the economic side of things. There are many ways a team could promote a project and if you have the right promotion then you could attract investors and that is how some of the projects becomes successful in terms of the number of money the project is able to collect during the initial phase.

How do we define if its successful? I mean they should consistently build and manage the project in rightful manner to maintain trust of their investors. For me the word is “trust”, if nobody trusted a project it will never become successful. Not all investors buy in because of hype, some look for potential and their purpose.

It should be in a reasonable way and the project consists of

*market importance
*it should be reliable and legit
*Support for the developers
*it was listed in the reputable exchanger

we can't just leave the hypes to give the reason for the success because it was not sustaining. What makes important is to have the project that could really provide the need of the people and they find it very useful and that gives a reason that investors will look into that, not ignoring.

With this market, trust determines everything, most of the people involved in this market do not understand it, I think. We all believe that it will increase so far, the price is reflected in the clear cycle, many people don't even care about the value of the technology it brings, just seeing the profit is them will buy it without even knowing what it is.

What makes most projects achieve a high success rate is majorly their development progress according to what was outlined in the whitepaper in conjunction with reliable and quality hands behind the project. The community also play major roles, the more followers they get, the higher rate of achieving a good result, which is for example what XRP is enjoying, despite the court case, they are still doing well in the market

Promotions.

You may not agree with me. But the bitter truth is how intensively you are ready to promote your project , it will get up to that level of success by having more investor and holders on board. It means you must need people to be aware of your project and then it may become successful if there are some solution is being provided by your project.

After promotion, I guess the solution what we are addressing for what problem is playing vital role on making a cryptocurrency successful. Please note that not all good projects are getting success but only through heavy promotions, good projects find success.

It should be the reason for the success of those project. The technological addition inside the industry

is what the project offers, with real usages and with real supporters the asset is far better than those who are moving just because of hypes.

actually can be seen from the start if the project has a large team and community, it means that it can be ascertained that the project is good. but it does not rule out that a team that has a small community can also develop into a large project later, all projects do need time to develop.

Not at all, the chance are equal and it's depends how solid hte fundamentals of the project, the potential are good from those asset who

really have a good developing team behind.

There are many things which make project success. The first one is Community, community is a big thing which make project success, second is investors and third one is hard working team. If their is hard working team than that will surely success.

Probably hype from their referrals. That's why there are ponzi schemes popping up and having a lot of connection to different people to invest into their platform/coin, but then when the dump comes, it goes all reds.
Think of it as just like a real-life business, like your local fast food that was just recently opened but then closed a week later.

Here, the success of the project team is very important. Sometimes even if the project is very good, if the team is weak, success does not come.
Being listed on new exchanges also increases the supply for cryptocurrencies. For example, DOGE is completely driven by supply  :-\

the biggest reason is hype, and hype can be caused by anything. such as experienced project advisors or have a large following. a project team that came from a former big project. or large corporate partners. all that could create hype in the crypto community and make the project popular and successful.

The first is that in order for a project to be accepted in the community, they must have a real product / service. Then, the profiles of all team members must be real. The next most important thing is that the project has a big partnership, for example, like Google or another big company.

what really makes cryptocurrency successful is :
1. the project has a good idea and is useful for the long term, so that it makes investors interested to investing in the project
2. the project has a great team and good partners, so that it makes investors interested to investing in the project
3. the project always has progress at any time and does not just make promises, so that investors will believe to investing in the project

but the most important thing is influencer doing promotion, for example is Elon Musk who always tweet about Dogecoin and now the price of Dogecoin has increased very high and become top 5 on coinmarketcap ;D.
and with the support from the fourth point, a project doesn't even need 1-3 points completely, lol.

you've summed it all up in this answer, I just add one more point: the state of the market.
remember the hard times after 2017? many projects that are difficult to develop even though they have good support and concepts, so that most of them can only show their glory this year. although it does not apply to all, the state of the bull market is very influential, because the money circulation is so large and investors have many opportunities to take profit.

Having an active team and developer and being listed on a top exchange with having a high trading volume makes a certain coin successful. Sometimes, it could happen in the long run so it needs patience. Most coins that fail are usually listed in unknown exchanges that don't have a good number of traders.

Depends on what you mean by "Successful Cryptocurrency". Lots of people take only the financial aspect into consideration, whether a project is decentralized or not.

In my opinion, successful cryptocurrency project has to be very useful, efficient, safe and fast without compromising on important crypto Principles/Ideals like decentralization, Transparency, Immutablity, CensorshipResistant, Permissionless/Trustlessness, Anonymity/Privacy, The use of public consensus, Deflation, etc.
These are some right standards any crypto project has to pass in order to be considered a success.
A centralized "Cryptocurrency" is not a success, and could be regarded as substandard project if it fails to stick to the ideals of True Cryptocurrency.

The success of a coin relies on its community. Added by its team's vision and perseverance, it is safe to say that a project will likely to succeed. In terms of community, it is really up to them whether the coin should go up or down due to some factors given by the team.

there will be no instant project even if it is from coins that have been accepted in the community, all projects must have obstacles no matter how good the team and the idea are.  the team and the community must work hard for the project to be successful.

Trust in the project and the project team is seen based on the cooperation of the project. Most of the successful projects were supported by a previous platform. Suppose project AAA is working with Binance. So investors see not the AAA project, but the Binance. This is what causes investors to dare to invest in a project.

How do we define if its successful? I mean they should consistently build and manage the project in rightful manner to maintain trust of their investors. For me the word is “trust”, if nobody trusted a project it will never become successful. Not all investors buy in because of hype, some look for potential and their purpose.

In general, projects are declared successful because they have systems and technology that can be run well.
Some people have different points of view on this matter, whether they are looking for a platform that can be used well or just looking for profits by looking at the price achievements of the coin. But both are needed to attract many investors and developers to be able to make new, better projects, fast and safe to use by everyone.

But if we are talking about 4,000 plus cryptocurrencies, we are talking not just Binance but also other exchanges that accomodates the other cryptocurrencies and not just Binance alone. We all know that Binance is the big exchange right now, yes, but there is also Coinbase, Kucoin, Huobi, and all the other exchanges that are also good and are also reputable that the trader and investor should all have accounts in. There must be a good list that we can use where it lists all good exchanges but I think you can all start with Coinmarketcap or Coingecko for basic details.

in my opinion, a good project is a project that has been well planned, one of which is having a good team and it will generate good tokens/coins. For example, when I choose a bounty, I will look at the team first, if the team is people who are already well-known and professional, then I will follow it. Likewise, investors should also check and understand first

Coming from the 2nd richest person in the world? It will really make a difference if he voiced out his support to a coin. I mean one tweet is all it takes for that coin to reach the high price. Now if several companies decided to support Bitcoin, ethereum and all the alts then that would spell the difference between an unknown coin, but technologically sound, and a coin in the top 100 of the list of cryptocurrencies. The more supporters a coin has the more momentum it will take for it to go higher.

If you do not go into the details that the cryptocurrency performs certain functions, then you can superficially say so. Cryptocurrency is successful because people see and want to see value in it, an opportunity to earn money and remain anonymous. For this, you do not have to pay taxes and you can become a rich, financially independent person

yep, if you are not ready for the risk, never put your funds in a volatile market. as the law of economics high return = high risk. Moreover, the crypto world is decentralized, anyone can make their own decisions.
Cryptocurrency market raise and a lot of newbies come to the industry. If persons do not want to risk or do not have experience for investment there are investments funds like https://defiscale.io/ that invest money in gambling and finance and offer a stable income on investment.

I agree that cryptocurrency investment is very risky and not all the people are ready to risk, it is good that there are investments funds that offer a stable income for investment.

In my opinion the biggest two factors that make a crypto currency successful are market capitalisation and the trading fees. If the market is too small, or there are not enough investors and traders, than it is not likely that new investors are going to buy that coin. We want a coin that is being actively traded in larger sizes so we can buy and sell more easily. And the more trader there are the lower the bid/ask spread should be. As for fees, the more we trade a coin the more important it becomes that fees are not so high.

Sometimes five years ago, trading fees are not at all a concern. But nowadays people are considering high transaction fees is an obstacle for success of coin. But, definitely I will not agree with that because bitcoin is right now having massive transaction fees still it keeps appreciating. On the other hand market capitalization is just another metric but economically not having any significant meaning.

A real use case and active devs team are more important in my opinion. But nowadays, coins with the no real purposes are finding success because of heavy promotion. When dev team is coming up the strong marketing strategies then they are easily hitting bull's eye.

There is no other than to credit but them because they are the reason for a successful improvement of token that leads to atteact investors or traders and mass adoption.

What makes a crypto currency successful is the innovation, workability and benefits to adopters the currency offers.

  • Example of innovation is bitcoin, the first crypto currency, the pioneer which opened the path for altcoins come next. Later we had more innovations from ethereum, which have its own network and more recently binance smart chain.

  • Example of workability are the currencies which allow adopters transact safely paying cheap transactions, although it's a very problematic point not fully fixed yet by cryptos in general, so we have a bunch of altcoins people adopt depending the situation, to pay low transaction fees. These could be considered successful examples of coins too.

  • Example of benefits offered are the potential profits people can make by investing, staking and trading. This point is totally connected and dependent on the the first examples above to be proved on practiced. The most innovative and working currencies are the most beneficial at same time.

Yeah I agree, this is why I always pick the coin that has a true use case that people will want and as long as they improve on that people will keep buying to use it for that use case which will make it more and more valuable because it has a buying reason other than "make me money" like most other ones.

This is why those two both could profit you, some idiotic coins did went up because of marketing so in short term that could work too why not, but in the long term its always the proper one that gets you the biggest profit.

There are many factors that make a cryptocurrency successful. The purpose of crypto money is primarily to offer a technology and to make people like this technology. If the technology they offer is not liked and trusted by people, of course the success rate will decrease. The key point here is to make people like something. creating a large audience. This can happen by advertising the crypto money well, with the team being related to the crypto money, listing it on good exchanges.

we didn't really mind those fees before but that is because the price was just too little that we only ignore it but you can think about it today because the value of 0.0005BTC is already $25. this price is way high compared to using Paypal transaction.

In my opinion, a sucessful cyptocurrency is made by the teamwork of its team for giving it a hype for the target investors. Also by making a good progress looking for the investors who will be really likes the projects of the platform.

Stable investment is only in stable tokens and don't expect to get a lot of profit, because big profits only come at a great risk and it can only be done by those who are brave in the crypto space.
These days stable coin is not a common stable coin that can give you nothing. There are numerous platforms that already offered various staking and lending for the stable coin and you can get stable income from your stable coin as passive income. The fact that there are lots of people have been using this platforms since a few years ago and these platforms are growing so fast.
You can't make a lot of profit from there but when you have lots of capital and you can make decent amount from staking your stable coin.

Which makes the crypto project my personal success probably because a solid team of his interested investors may be a small part of the success of the project and probably the success of the project's billionaire who invested in it because it would have a big impact on the success of the project and probably many more would make the project successful because it would have a big impact on the success of the project and probably many more would make the project successful because it would be so hard to predict

- the sincerity of the team
- trust
- continuous development

however, I think it is the 3 points that make a project a success. out there, there are quite a lot of good projects, but because there is no trust in the team, the project will die slowly. other than that, even though the concept is good, if the team only thinks about itself, then it's like playing with investors. Continuous project development is also very necessary, so that the project can adapt to the needs of investors or users.

as long as the project has a very high demand and usage, it is certain that the cryptocurrency will have a long life and can provide a lot of profit to investors who come in and support it, but if there is no high usage then it will definitely be difficult to survive, circulation in the world of cryptocurrency is very harsh and not easy.

I noticed that usually projects that have a clear purpose, usually have a high demand. As ETH and BNB are examples of successful
cryptocurrencies, therefore investing in ETH and BNB is highly recommended. But if we look at the crypto market today it is very sad,
because most of the outstanding projects have no clear use. In fact, there are so many new projects that appear and will soon become
a scam project, because these projects are just a copycat of the previous projects. So be careful when investing in cryptocurrencies,
make sure to do research and analysis beforehand, to avoid investing in the wrong projects.

So this makes me wonder what makes some projects instant success and gives them immediate acceptance from the cryptocurrency community

not 100% if you try hard to find which ico or coin will success, but there is a chance to get there.
you can observe about that team, how its going. sometime, there is member who join another team after finish and succeed the team before. and we can deny if the new one cant close to be 'success' but, it can be small chance.
and dont forget to keep touch with them to see the progress.

A successful project has many importants things.. firstly it should have good communication community, trusty team management. If a good communication spreading it's popularity and reputation among the investors then it would have highly possible to success.

The success of the project reflects mostly of the team members itself. There will be a huge demand from its community if the consumers have seen the progress of the project and the development that had taken place.

However, if the project does not meet the quality standards of the consumers or the people in the crypto community, there will be less adoption and probably the project won't meet its target and more likely to fail in the end because of undervalued.

There are so many factors that can make a project successful, exchange where the token listed, the team behind the project, the product, the transparency etc.,investors never invest in the project that has a negative feedback so they will always look at the team behind the project and thier back ground after checking the team they will surely look on the product and make a short evaluation if that product will posibly be accepted or useful to community.

so far as I know cryptocurrencies can achieve success when they have projects that are very useful for many people, when there are no useful projects then cryptocurrencies will not develop and certainly will not get support from any investors.
that's if we see how from the use of their platform or product. but if we look at their market. Successful cryptos are those that manage to have value and gain the greatest adoption.
The circumstances of every crypto asset are different. some take a long time to make their market strong. but some get support from their already strong partnership which makes crypto from new projects immediately gain popularity in the market.

Most of the projects that survived the crypto winter had a solid working product underneath.

In my opinion, success depends primarily on whether there is a real business and a real use of the token under the project, otherwise, during a bearish trend, the price of the coin may fall below its selling price.

Not at all because if you do look on some projects that survived that crypto winter doesnt really have that solid working product but it do still able to get some significant value in the market which is really surprising.

Only a few percentage on overall projects does actually had one or does have relevance when it comes to actual world usage but there are still some who had able to cling up with the ranks despite of lacking on the thing.

Success isnt something that would be guarantee no matter how great the project idea is because it would always matter with the demand and that what really dictates when it comes to success,.

Well, your opinion can't be disregarded, but although most of those involved do not know technical terms or have an understanding of the project, they may have an understanding that if it is not for them, for someone it will do and when the project is useful, prices end up reflecting , if you disagree, present a project with a decent supply and that is of some use and that is undervalued. Naturally, by posting this, people will buy this project because it will definitely be recognized.

Their usecase in the blockchain technology is what really makes a crypto successful. There are many cryptos now that shows a lot of potential in the future because their project solves some problems that blockchain tech lacks. The team also behind that project are very active updating about their progress and future plans. They always engage to some events like hackaton to make their project become more popular. They do partnerships with some popular companies or other crypto projects to improve the usecase of their cryptocurrency.

Actual use case and how they influence their chosen industry is very important in knowing if the project will be successful long term or not. Because if it will rely only on traders, this will not last long. So they should have active use case in the industry and the team is continuously innovating their platform, in order to adapt new changes in the environment. Some projects have very noble concept but they failed in actual implementation. Actual implementation is really important for the project to survive. And of course, the users should also be happy and satisfied with their services. Or at least, they are open in improving their services.

For me,

1. Marketing (from Community and Core, ultimate point if its from influencer)
2. Product (Whitepaper, Roadmap, Fundamentals, etc)
3. Team

Its 3 key usually which lead a successful coin survive on the market. But investing on small project usually have no good marketing and its a gamble.

Most of the projects that survived the crypto winter had a solid working product underneath.
Solid in every aspect that they have. The team works continuously and what they've put in the roadmap, they're following it.
In my opinion, success depends primarily on whether there is a real business and a real use of the token under the project, otherwise, during a bearish trend, the price of the coin may fall below its selling price.
The use case is a thing that most projects don't have. They need to have a platform for it to be useful and for their users to benefit from it.

in fact, many factors make a project successful. and in my opinion the success of a project is due to the trust of the crypto community. so that the community members raise and promote the project until it is known by many communities so that the project becomes popular among crypto users. because a project cannot possibly be a big success without the trust of the crypto community.

That's why the dependency on superficial facts is always dangerous in the world of crypto.
There is no way to judge how the person is who sits behind the screen and coding a junk project or master-piece of the era. The only way to know is go through the whitepaper, understand the technical terms with the help of other colleagues who are into IT field.
Always hover around the GitHub because that is the best place to understand the current development of project and also one can track easily if the project is active or dead or copied one. Long gone those days when we used to talk about the team is active, roadmap looks good and stuff. But now, it's all about the performance and reality of the product along with it's application.  ;)

There are many copy paste projects and we can see if they were created because of the Hype.
As in the current trend of the crypto market, some altcoins come with the same idea, but some other projects have different ideas with a few additional ideas and technologies that the previous project didn't have, it's hard to predict the new project will be successful or not, because no one knows what will happen in the future, it's all up to the development team and community members.

You are right that innovative ideas and a good team are not always a clue for success, nevertheless, it is also important. But in addition to this, we should pay attention to the situation in general: the price of Bitcoin, trends on the market, and marketing campaigns. As the better advertisement is, the more people are aware of this project, therefore, a lot of investors. Also we should learn tokenomics.
