Title: Avoid bad projects
Post by: CrossroadBTC on May 05, 2021, 11:07:51 AM
Be careful fellas, we are in bull market and many bounty campaigns are popping up, remember that some are just here to take advantage of the bull market so look deeply before promoting any project, make sure they are that good enough to avoid bad news after months of promotion

May the hunting force be with ye🙏

In fact, it is not difficult to distinguish a good project from a bad one. It is enough to pay attention to such trifles as activity in telegram channels and chats on the part of developers and administration. For announcements of news and events. On the progress of some steps, according to the plan. Well, on the number of communities in social networks

ugh, it's so hard to endure the temptation lol. I was working so hard for the past couple of months with more than 20 new projects and I've learned one or two things from it. I faced some unpaid bounties, low price bounties, and what makes me agitated is the period of the stakes counting and distribution. It takes 1-2 months even more and it's frustrating. In the beginning, I thought that more project means more opportunities for me to have good tokens/coins but man it's so exhausting. I was doing social media like Twitter and Facebook that took much time with little payment, but now I think I have to be more selective and try to do another task like youtube, article, or translation. By the way, now, I only take projects from high-level bounty managers.

Peopkle know about this and this could become the basic consideration before try to join in the bounty campaign. DYOR is a must but these days people know so well how to avoid the scam project except the bots who have been still posting the application without try to do any research. The managers were also helping the hunters to avoid the scam project by doing some verification to the project that interested to held its bounty campaign.
DYOR is a must for all of hunters.

It's not hard for those who've been for a long time in crypto world. For the newcomers i recommend to buy good-known coins and learn the market before buying something new.

your excellent advice, in a bullish market everyone tries to ride the wave and the advice is to carry out the research and study the projects before launching just because some paid influencer talks about it.

In accordance with that, you have to make sure that you've done your research on that project or you have a standard that has been met by that bounty before joining.
It's not a new thing when somebody talks about being careful with bounty projects that people should join. Because there were many of those in the past that turned out to be a waste of time.

Sometimes, there's money in bad projects because of all the hype and false hopes. And you can actually make money out of it when you join the ride. If you can't really avoid this, just be careful when to exit and not to stay too long on the project. Profit is profit.

I was also thinkng about just joining a campaign that is just paying btc but there is no position for me so I took a chance of a campaign managed by reputable user, is this enough of a basis?

While we are talking about bad projects, anyone could say this Whale Maker may be a scam?

Yes. Of course this is nothing new for crypto users and for campaign participants. However, if you just participate in the campaign, it doesn't really matter, because you don't spend any capital. However, if we invest in the project, then this is dangerous, because it will cause loss of assets.

I believe that everyone knows what they are doing. And since they join bounty hunting, I'm sure they know already what they have to do (RESEARCH), and probably they are aware of the consequences.

It was their call, I let them know if that is a good or legit project or just a scammy thing. Because we can't really say if that particular project is legit or fake unless if someone from their member told us. This gonna be all about using our own skills and knowledge to find if that is worth joining or not.

If you want to be in that position you need to study about the project and the team members should be transparent and if you can spend time in finding good projects then you can avoid these situations of promoting scam projects as no one will join any scam projects knowingly.
One thing you need to be careful is that never trust any review sites as they will promote any coins that promote them.

You can do that easily dude and WP seems not become an important point again to determine whether that's a good or bad project.
These days people were putting their main concerns in these things

1. Team
2. Code
3. Hype
4. partnership
5. VC support
6. Development progress

Those things can be used to determine how legit the project is.
What you need to regularly do research and you will know how to identify the scam project easily .

It is our responsibility as we enter this platform to avoid as much as we can scam and bad projects. We have the capability and knowledge to determine if a certain project is legitimate or not. Even when there's no bull run currently occuring, there are still a lot of frauds and failing projects in the forum. In here we can see how powerful knowledge is and how important it is to be meticulous upon picking which project you are going to join in. Always be smart in finding ways on how you can gain plenty and effective profit, do not settle for less, always strive for what's best for you.

Totally agree with you. We should be careful. There have been several scam projects already stealing hundreds thousands dollar.

I have some suggestions so that you can skip scam projects:
 - looking for social media like: twitter followers >20000 , telegram group members>10000
 - read whitepaper
 - searching for news on creditable articles such as CCN, coindesk

DYOR is the most fundamental method of investing. Also, if you can, don't be interested in pump dump coins, it will end up costing you. always check the use case of a project to ensure that the project you are investing in is indeed worthy of being a source of profit.

Is a must to have it in order to verify the market movement, if you work on it more deeper the knowledge that you'll going to gain will give you

good advantage from this business.

Unless you are willing to take the risk, but while learning the market taking solid projects in your list is far better than playing with pump and dump assets.

This is very important plus make sure being updated to all the developments coming from the project legit administrators.

Sometimes it's difficult to distinguish bad projects because their offer is tempting and they also have a good start to attract people. But always be cautious and do some research and study about the project before promoting and investing to it. Most of the new projects are not good and a waste of time and money.

Yeah, people are already aware of these things still they are participating in to bounty program without taking time to do due diligence which is the reason why is scammers are easily enjoying here in the name of bounty program. I like this topic because it is spreading awareness but in the past also I have seen many similar topics but unfortunately most people are never giving important for following the guidelines.

Anyways, it is our duty and basic responsibility to spread awareness and the rest are up to hands of individuals. No one could take care of them for each scenario. But, these days I'm seeing there are less number of scammy bounty programs compared to what we had in old days of ICOs.

You should always check the projects twitter, their website and their telegram channel to see if there is any activity in there. Also it is very important in my opinion to take a look at the whitepaper of the project and if it even has a real use-case or if it is just another copy and paste sh*it-coin with no real value at all. Sadly most bounties in the altcoin section are from not-so-good projects because let's be honest really good projects that have a lot of hype already don't need to do a bounty because people already know about them. From time to time there are still great altcoin bounties available though. I personally took part in the Bounty of Radix and i think that this project will still be here and successful in a few years.

What are you talking about. The entire social side of companies, their websites, Twitters, Telegrams, Facebooks, white papers, all this can be done beautifully and attractively and will keep within 1-2 thousand dollars. What is the allowable amount for scammers. As a person who has gone through a huge number of bounties, I can say that you are absolutely wrong and that you just do not know what you are talking about. You can't tell whether it's a scam or not by the website, social media and documentation, something can always go wrong. Back in 2018-2019, I said that out of 10 companies there will be 1 normal. Now I can say with confidence that the normal is more likely 1 in 40, at least this is how I see this market for myself.
My main message: Treat what is happening with patience and simplicity, without unnecessary expectations.

Scammers have always been and will always be, so the main thing here is to selectively approach the choice of the project in which you participate or invest, but I want to say that there are projects that do everything beautifully, and then you can not avoid it, the main thing is not to get upset.

Scam and shit projects can bring you good fortune, that's the funny part about bounties and most importantly we are in bull season so even shit bounties can become so rewarding, the problem with bounties is getting your tokens after the campaign is over, payments are been denied by few bounty projects and that hurts

Thank you for this warning and reminder mate, it's very true, when ever the market is green, this is when different projects begin to appear, many of this projects are owned by scammer or unserious persons who just want to grab some quick money and abandon the project, this projects makes us of the innocent bounty hunters to promote their project, this hunters don't get paid at the end of the day, even if they gat paid, sometime the tokens are worth nothing cus they probably abandoned the project leaving both the bounty hunters and investors to count their losses , we should be careful and watchful not to full victims to this bad eggs.

A lot of new shitcoins in the market and they are pumping very well not because of being a good project but due to the hype in the market. Look at those shitcoins after they pumped, they’re being left behind and now starting to go down. Avoid bad project at all cost, they are not good investments but if you’re a risk taker and a scalper, then do your analysis always to know when to buy and sell.

Yes, I agree. because many fake developers create fake projects. so we must be right and careful in choosing a campaign project in order to avoid bad things. but i am currently following campaign projects only through trusted managers like irfanpak and bountydective. I've seen the two of them often manage good projects.

so that both beginners and people who have been in the crypto world for a long time will also find it difficult to know which projects are scam and which are not,
It would be nice, before joining the project, we did research first and I think that is important

I have taken the decission of accepting only projects that pay in bitcoin. I have been campaigning for a number of projects for quite a few years, including doing translations and the like. It is just impossible to find good projects, you get paid only 1 of every two and even that one is probably such a low amount by the time you get the bounty that rarely makes your effort worth. If you have a project and you believe in it, pay in bitcoin.
