Title: [SCAM ALERT] Bitcoin generator - exchanger365x.com
Post by: examplens on May 05, 2021, 05:05:49 PM
What happened:: Bitcoin generator - exchanger365x.com
Reference Link: exchanger365x.com
Amount Scammed: N/A
Payment Method: Bitcoin
Additional Notes:

I find this ad on one previously trusted website. it is a well-known scheme of fraud. Visitor can get some Bitcoins (up to 2.5BTC) but after the script on the website finishing with something, they ask for a small deposit to cover the fee (0.000982 BTC). of course all this is false.
Unfortunately, deposit address 1PnebLVTnG7Jibe8pcG4n3M3cDuDYQ53Hn which I get from there received two payments for that (the same amount 2x 0.000982) https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/address/1PnebLVTnG7Jibe8pcG4n3M3cDuDYQ53Hn
So, obviously, two people are scammed from there.

I searched a bit, is there any review about this website and I find just a few "anti-scam" websites, which does not say anything concrete about this case. Only generic review, "it can be a scam but we are not sure". They were more concerned with the correctness of the code itself and whether there is any malicious code inside.

domain exchanger365x.com is just a month old, so it still young.

The domain is registered on Namesilo, I think maybe they'll do something about it.
Next, it seems that the owner forgets to select whois privacy (or leave fake information). So we have some info about the domain owner. Maybe someone from RU can confirm is it real or fake.

LOL for over the years I guess this is my first time seeing a scam attempt that explicitly states that they GENERATES bitcoin lol. Well, I guess there's still a reason that they still attempted to scam people (which they did), and that is because people are now joining the cryptospace as tons of social media influencers and even news creates a huge hype to the media without even creating a huge warning to its risks hence people think it is an easy money which they therefore search for stupid things like this scam and would fell for it. One thing that they don't even bother knowing is how to see transaction history of a wallet which is easy when the scam website tells it is deposited on that wallet.

At first sight the title I thought maybe the site would be like as a bitcoin accelerator site. :) but later I can see the story is totally against my thought. what a shit, People now can generate 1-2 BTC in a minute by using only the private address. But who are giving a chance to make 1-2 btc in a minute but they can not give the network fees. :)  People who can only think this simple think don't fall into this trap.

Its like the old scam bait of "Give me 10$ I will give you 100$ back, Promise!" type.

The domain registration details are a good source to start tracking but considering it is RU, I doubt any law enforcement would be able to track them down.

They even have a chatroom and it is filled with what seems like their own agents running a propaganda that the site is legit and attempt to discredit anyone who reveals the site to be scam. Pretty normal thing though. Greed makes people blind and they forget that there is no such thing as free money.

Yeah, you might mean the scam called Doubling Scam, I saw this type of scam done in online games so it is pretty harmless although it is still bad thing because it takes advantage of people. I checked the address and it did got a transaction and I assume that it is a victim.

So many scammers like this disgust me! The creatures that spend their entire existence looking for ways to run scams and taking advantage of the gullible. They act like they are smarter than the general public. But, they are not. They're just evil. Of course, experienced users won't fall for such foolhardy tricks, but some inexperienced and naive people could. That is the exact reason why Bitcoin still causes some people to feel uncomfortable and distrustful.
