As far as some popular exchange is concerned, I think KYC is necessary requirement before anyone can participate in a staking program.

If you saw some on low to mid trading platforms offering stake without KYC, I doubt their legitimacy but you can search for it.

This is actually right!

OP, you can check out this list too for other options for you to take: https://www.blocksocial.com/top-staking-as-a-service-platforms-to-stake-crypto/

Aint sure if there are platforms who doesn't require KYC before you can stake out since im not really that interested on leaving all my funds on a certain platform
or 3rd parties just for me to gain some small amount of returns for a very long time of been holding or been on idle.

Or you could earn much more if you bought and held your top market cap crypto in a wallet that you own minus locking your coins to some third party platform in order to just earn a small percentage in profits  :D

Anyway, I don't know which coins you want to stake but Ledger, which is considered to be a much safer type of wallet supports a staking of a few coins - https://www.ledger.com/staking

Why not start with binance? I don't have my KYC verified account in binance but I can still participate with their staking. There are several coins available for staking (30-90 days). Maybe if you exceed their daily withdrawal of 2 btc, that's when you need to submit KYC. But if not, you can very well participate in their locked staking. Also, another one is the stakecube - https://stakecube.net/. You can visit their site, so you will know which coins are earning via staking, you can even earn interest from some coins just by holding.

I reckon this suggestion. I will avoid to stake on any exchange because you're risking it with the locked in period. There are wallets that have been said that allows you to stake.
There's also the Trust wallet that allows so - https://trustwallet.com/staking/

Trust me, you would feel safer and secured if it has a KYC requirement. Most of these who requires KYC are legit ones. But, if you really want to stake without KYC, stake on pancakeswap or julswap with the available pair or individual coins there. Please note that Pancakeswap and Julswap are decentralized exchanges.

Requiring KYC does not in any way equates legitimacy. Anyone can easily pretend they are required by law to do so, hence why scammers have been using it to steal data from their users.

There is nothing in KYC that would make anyone feel safe and secured. In reality, it barely does anything in preventing crimes cause anyone with illicit activity in mind wouldn't tie their identity to the said account. It only propagates identity thefts either because of data breaches or ppl misusing it.

But, if you really want to stake without KYC, stake on pancakeswap or julswap with the available pair or individual coins there. Please note that Pancakeswap and Julswap are decentralized exchanges.

I would advice anyone not to stake anything which foundation is 99% hype... and exchanges are not truly decentralized if you are accessing them thru centralized means.

Any centralized service has the potential to require KYC, even if they advertise otherwise. There is the risk that your activity/behavior raises flags the exchange does not like, and will require you to verify your identity before allowing you to withdraw.

The only real way to be guaranteed to not have to provide KYC is to use some kind of DiFi platform.

I believe the concern most people have with providing their KYC documents is that of their own privacy.
