Waste a lot of power to dig out a series of mathematical solutions, bitcoin, Ethereum, dogcoin, is it meaningful? Why not use these computing power to solve the problems in reality, such as the development of new drugs for nuclear fusion, which are about the fate of human beings.

I think you totally misunderstood it, you can't compare development of new drugs to bitcoin or fate of human beings. They are very different, they spend time and money and resources finding the solution, while bitcoin the solution is already there, it is fixed, in 10 minutes or so you will find a block. But finding solutions for let's say cancer takes years a a lot of trial and error.

The parable that you say is easy for the layman to understand and again comparing things like that is simply absurd,
what is certain is that your explanation is very helpful for people who misunderstand or don't understand cyrptocurrency at all,

You can use your power for anything you want if it is legal in your nation.

Cryptocurrency mining with GPU cards is not different than gamers use GPU cards to play games. Why are you serious with mining? If there is no mining, same number of GPUs will be used by gamers. Usages mean power consumption.

The only reason people raise question about mining is: Cryptocurrency mining brings money to miners, sometimes a fortune. People raise questions because they are jealous with crypto miners.

Unfortunately, in the end we still have to become slaves to human greed. More precisely, whatever sector you will be interested in because it has business opportunities. For a long time, people have been fighting for their own fate, without waiting for a (really) super hero to save human beings. And business does promise their fate.

This tech was invented by Mr. Satoshi and he had vision of decentralised economical sphere. He did his excellent work in achieving that and it was one of the discovery that helped humans to excel in the field.

Science is big word, the applied mathematics is already used to compute the physics problems.
