Back in January, when the world's second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap, ethereum, was trading at just over $1,200, one investor made the bold call of predicting a spike to the mid-$3,000 level, claiming it was being "overlooked" by investors.

Just under five months later, that prediction has already hit with ethereum (ETH-USD) up roughly 400% on the year to cross the $3,500 mark as of Friday afternoon. Now, that same investor, Megan Kaspar, co-founder of the digital asset investment company Magnetic, is upping her price target to the $8,000 to $10,000 price range by year's end.

Eth is already climbing up, is 10,000 dollars in our sight ?

If eth devs will succeed in performing the next update by convincing more than 50% of the mining pools to burn a big part of the transaction fees, so the transactions becomes cheaper, the price will surely go to the moon.
By the end of year, i guess it's not an exaggeration to expect the 10.000$ climb or even more.

I read the prediction made while Ethereum was $1,200 and then climbing to the ATH. Surely the second largest popular coin is a big investors pride, it is being predicted to hit $8,000 to $10,000 by the end of the year. This is also significant for altcoins, maybe this is going to lead the bull run .

Should I start buying more ETH right now?

There have been many predictions like that before, not only in ethereum but also bitcoin maybe in many altcoins, the predictions made by these investors just happen to coincide with the bullrun

That will always be the case. Eth is now $3,800.
And as the price surpasses new walls, analysts or any expert that they call in the market, tend to give numbers that are high and based on the feelings that they feel.
That will make them predict high prices such as given for Ethereum which is no doubt reachable if the trend continues.

This is true. The 10k level for eth is not impossible but very achievable. Even if the fees in eth network are still high, they manage to reach more than 3k level. How much more when they implement the EIP 1559 this coming July? If they really do improve the gas efficiencies and other stuffs, they can easily achieve the 10k level this year. And for those who want to get a hold of ETH, better buy it now before it goes up again. But of course, weigh your options.

I believe that everyone of these analyst for casting or predicting the price of cryptocurrency coins are just doing so based on their own opinion. They are not market makers and they can't have the exact knowledge of what the market is going to do.

You should at least try to waiting for the dip to happen. The market has been giving several times for the people to get ethereum at the discount price.
You can try to accumulate more and more ethereum before it will be mooning very soon.
DYOR is a must but if you can be patient and it's better enter in the market when the dip was coming very soon.

ETH is the second largest coin in the crypto market and it is loved by many investors.
If version 2.0 is released on time and solves the problem of transaction fees, ETH could completely increase to $ 10,000.

If ETh can solve the transaction fee problem it will certainly have a very good increase, $ 10,000 is absolutely possible.

In my opinion, the main problem with Ethereum now is the high transaction fees, which are very different from the BNB fees that many people now use. I heard that there will be ethereum 2.0, if there is an improvement in terms of transaction fees, I am also sure that ethereum prices will go up more

$10,000 not unrealistic prediction considering their smart contract blockchain has been quite revolutionising the whole crypto market more or less with the dapps, defi and all but the problem with ETH is probably the total supply, other than that I could see ethereum growing to be bigger and bigger in the future.


yeah many people saying eip1559 gonna solve the problem as part of eth 2.0 implementation but whether that's gonna turns out to be true or not we don't really know not to mention many transactions coming back to eth again from bsc making the fee go enormously high again.
though I doubt the fee gonna be as cheap as it was back then before 2020.

I seriously doubt if that $10,000 prediction will be feasible during this bull rally. Perhaps, we should be looking at the next bull rally in the next four years to come for it. Except something drastic is done with ETH miners making a call for reduced tx fees or burning some tokens I really don't see a huge rise happening with ETH beyond this point. BNB is giving ETH a run for its money with its innovative reduced transaction fees and the pursuit of many tokens using its BSC. I believe this, unarguably, has contributed in drawing ETH price back. Without BSC on the line, ETH would've surpassed this level long time ago with the way BTC is surging. As more projects get on the BSC than they do on ETH, it will be difficult to see ETH push that high. Yeah, I know someone will argue that ETH is decentralized while BSC is centralized, but that's not even the issue here. Many investors may not even know the difference or demerits. They just want to have transactions with less fees to pay.

I believe it will be achieved, given the current excellent situation of ethereum. the end of the year the predictions will come true. but on the grounds that the bull market run will continue into the next year. if not, let alone going up to stay at the price of $3000 is very difficult.

I doubt it will come true. it is true that at this time the new altcoin season starts and eth has a chance to go higher. but $ 10,000 is a pretty high target. there is plenty of time until the end of the year, and while waiting there will be many things that might happen. it could be a market crash, and a bear trend begins. Or more surprisingly BNB replaces ethereum and ERC20 is starting to leave. The future has many possibilities, and that's why I doubt it.

I fully agree with his Opinion now per Etherium has $3.9k usd, and Today One hours ago  Eth touched $3,991.18 and it is All time High price of Etherium. 
Between on this year we can see a very good Changes on Etherium Price and on the upcoming day Eth will easily 10k+ usd.     

Yes it is. ethereum is climbing so fast and that's the matter of time until ethereum will reach another ATH again. It looks like we will break 4k easily very soon. I can't be patient to see that ethereum will worth at least 5k.
Ethereum will become the next crypto trillion marketcap project after bitcoin. Ethereum has a very big potential to do that. Im so glad we are entering another bullish trend again.

Unfortunetly, this update isn't that easy to be implemented as it requires the agreement of more than half of the mining pools. Those pools won't easly accept to lose a great part of their commission which is about 50% of the total mining reward. Actually, a great debate is occuring within Ethereum communities and still the final decision isn't yet clear.

I don't believe any analyst in a bull market because anything will go up, just look at DOge coin and the huge growth it has seen this year, over 140X at ATH, as long as Bitcoin price keep going up, Ether price will follow suit, there is no way BTC hit over $200k that the price of Ether remain less than $10k

Not because they successfully predict the price would climb up to that high, their next prediction is also true. Investors should be careful but if you guys have done proper research and you think that this kind of thing would happen in the future on the market of ETH then it's up to you guys. You need more courage to further invest in this current situation where the market is insanely increasing every day. Indeed, this is not the normal scenario in the ETH market. One should take this advantage but with proper research and they need to ready their emotion for what about to happen.

no analyst not even Vitalik Buterin himself can accurately predict the price of Ethereum and because this so called analyst may have been right about this prediction doesn't necessarily mean he'll be right on the next prediction. It is worth nothing that these predictions are statustical guesses that still have a big element of uncertainty to it so it is best to not base your investment decisions over some prediction by an analyst.
The cryptocurrency market is very volatile and nothing is certain, so invest what you are willing to let go and dont put alk your eggs in one basket

It is not that hard to analyse that the price would reach those valuations because the market could pump at any time and sometimes there is no logic about why the rally happened in certain coins. When it comes to ETH the EIP-1559 upgrade that takes place during London hard fork will make a considerable change in the transaction fees structure and that is one of the main reasons why the market is rallying expecting huge changes in the coming months.

10k looks a reasonable price to be achieved by ethereum. We are still on right track to jump from 3k to 10k. It may need another quarter and we will see ethereum will worth almost 10k for sure, I can expect a lot from the implementation of POS, Hardsupply, fixing the scalability problem, and many more. These updates will bring back another FOMO for ethereum.
The major companies will have started to add ethereum as a diversification for their portfolios. The analysts were believed ethereum has very good fundamentals at this moment.
Im also feeling bullish on ethereum.

Ethereum is already a powerful coin with a very high potential. it is already making its rise. and I think this rise will increase gradually and may exceed 10 thousand dollars in the long run. Ethereum is a coin that gives me a lot of confidence and I would like to invest. My investments in ethereum do not scare me. because I know it will save me.

I think no one can predict the crypto market, but if you look at Ethereum now, you can say that Ethereum is in a very good condition, especially after ethereum managed to reduce their gas fee costs, ethereum price immediately soared. But I say that it is just a hyping word, people got crazy to think very positively if they saw the market grow. I shouldn't have to fool myself thinking that much, if it comes then it was good but if not, have to accept it.

I respect such prediction, everyone can be all in positive/negative. That is their individual's opinion, it doesn't have assurance anyway. They are just enjoying the market development.

Its sounds great having a good feed back by crypto analyst Megan Kaspar of digital asset investment. And i really doubt it will happen in over time after the releasing of ethereum update since many investors and crypto enthusiast overlook with the gas fees which might pull the trigger into $10,000 price high.
