I can't find it on any exchange. Coingecko says it's available on eToro and Crypto.com but when you go to buy it, it's greyed out.

Both were the most reliable sites to buy XRP and as someone said above me that if CMC could be the best source than coingecko to get the information about which market that already traded XRP.
I think that you should move from coingecko to the CMC.

Maybe he doesn't understand about Exchange, at Crypto.com can also trade Ripple. I have never used eToro, but I do use Crypto.com.


My advice, before you deposit your money in exchange. It is better if you first check whether you can make withdrawals without using KYC. If not, you complete your KYC and then you make a deposit. Because there are exchanges that are difficult to accept KYC verification.
In addition, you can check the local exchanges in your country of residence, it aims to make money withdrawals to conventional banks.

It looks like you are new to cryptocurrency, the proof is that you are still confused about choosing the right exchange to buy XRP. Your aim is very good, but you cannot do it instantly without someone is helping you to make transaction. 
As a newcomer, You have to learn how cryptocurrency works and how to get the coin that is your target. Choosing the right exchange is the first step to making transaction safely. If I may suggest, You should ask for help from the closest person who is experienced in cryptocurrency to make it easier for you to make transactions.

If you've got some accounts on the exchanges that are on that list where it has pairs, you should check them out and see that it's not greyed out.

how can you not find XRP on any exchange? because in my opinion XRP can be bought in almost all exchange and you can try buying XRP on,
1. Binance Exchange
2. Coinbene Exchange
3. XT Exchange

I guess you did not pay attention that first ones were advertisements when you clicked on the markets in coingecko. Yellowish colored ones are sponsored exchanges, check those below it.

XRP is a coin that you can easily find on every exchange, just find a more useful exchange and invest. e.g Binance (https://www.binance.com/en)

It's probably greyed out because of your location. My guess is that you are from the US and almost all exchanges don't trade XRP to US residents or if you IP address shows that you are from the US to avoid getting into trouble with SEC.
So all the exchanges people have suggested that you should use won't work if you try accessing them directly from there.

If you carefully look at the XRP markets (https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/xrp) in coingecko, you will see  small warning at the top

Hello Brother i think you are a very new person on Crypto market, Ripple coin (XRP) is available on maximum crypto currency market with different pair. If you want to find something more about ripple coin then you can search on CoinMarketCap.             
You can easily find Ripple Coin on BINANCE, HOUBI EXCHANGE, KUCOIN etc top exchange and also have many exchange where Xrp is listed. 

I will help you if you have issue, first of all, which region do you leave, platform best used to buy ripple may be depending on your residence, and also it seems to me that you are new in the cryptocurrencies space. If you know exactly the app in your country, buy ripple from that platform be it p2p or any other, if ripple is not present on the platform, toy can buy btc and convert it to ripple by sending it to exchange where you purchase ripple.

Do not try to spoil the mind of new investor, encourage newbies to have new zeal in acquiring any coin they wish to get, that's the way forward to bring I newbies into the game.

mate i think you are new in this filed but i know every newbies are confuse how to buy coins . so if you buy any coins or tokens you can go to coingecko or  search coins every search bar you will type any coins after you can see the tokens on click and find the market where it will list . simple xrp are listed on many exchanges so pick any exchange or buy xrp with usdt , btc or eth pair .

What makes you think you won't be able to find XRP on any exchange? since, in my view, XRP can be purchased on almost any exchange, and you can try purchasing XRP on the Binance Exchange & Kucoin exchange

While the purchase may work on your side due to your location, OP is from the US were regulations are regarding crypto are quite strict. XRP is on SEC's radar so I don't think simplex will let him purchase it through trustwallet.

I'm not surprised at all that you can't find XRP in regular markets. The answer is simple - it is not a cryptocurrency.
It is possible that they won the fight for survival, but in the cryptocurrency market sooner or later centralized coins will lose. It is just matter of time.

I don't know where you are so I can advise you to buy XRP simply. Currently XRP is listed on many of the world's top exchanges you just need to convert fiat currency to digital assets digitally to buy XRP, very simple, isn't it.

There are so many exchange that delisted XRP when the US government Sue the management so that means there are limited site where you can purchase this coin .
but nevertheless there is the most popular and biggest exchange in which Binance that still keep the transaction open so basically forget about the etoro or crypto.com because binance alone is best for this problem.

A lot of factors have to be considered here, did you just start learning trading? Where do you live? Are exchanges banned in your country of residence? XRP Ripple can be traded across different exchanges like Binance, FTX, Probit, Huobi and lots more.  Just deposit fiat into your registered account and trade with your stable coin to XRP on binance you can see USDT/XRP, BUSD/XRP, BTC/XRP, etc.

Maybe you are very new to the crypto world, Do your own research before any investment. Crypto investment is very risky, Also don't put all of your money at one busket.

Agreed, don't put all your eggs into one basket, but also don't spread your funds around too thinly...  One investment might pay off, put if it's only one or two percent of your portfolio, then it won't make a huge amount of difference to your net wealth.

Are You Serious Man? I think you new here not just new i think very new , you don't know where to buy xrp? An dyou are here in crypto, Xrp is not just a simple tokens that you are unable to find where to buy , their are so many exchanges from where you can buy xrp, i will suggest binance exchange, the world top crypto exchange

He got 1 post only so expect that he's new unto this thats why he ask on where to buy his desired coin.

XRP is currently the top 10 coins on coinmarketcap. You can find XRP on all exchanges. I suggest you, buy it at binance.com ,the biggest exchange.
