Title: phases IV of COVID 19 lockdown. How can we quickly recover to the normal life?
Post by: Whytee on May 11, 2021, 12:01:46 PM
The federal government has recently announced a national 12am to 4am curfew in all the 36 states and the federal capital districts as part of the effort to reduce the future spread of COVID 19 and to regulstare insecurity.

The national incident manager, Mukhtar Mohammed,  announced this in a press briefing of the presidential committee in Abuja. He also said the the curfew will be effective and will be taken serious within the states.
Mohammad stated that all night clubs, gyms and other buniesss that operate at night would be closed till further notice. He added that only essential international travels will be encouraged and all other institutions must be strictly observed. Religious groups, weeding. Burial ceremony should be reduced to 50% attendance and other official meetings and conference should be held virtually.

The COVID 19 lockdown has affected many bunessses, and has also affects the education system. The lockdown causes inflation in the society and has reduced the standard of living in the society which we are still yet to recover. How can we quickly recover to our normal life after the lockdown?

Lockdown from 12am to 4am is going to have any considerable effect on slowing down the spread if there is any?

It's a completely useless idea!

The quickest way to recover is to ignore government. Find others who agree with you on this, and fight for your rights.

There's data acquired in other countries who does this lockdown also known as "Curfews", so it might be worth the try.

Which government you are talking about here ?
Also 12am to 4am is from  midnight to early morning where almost everyone is sleeping, so what the point of this curfew ?  Also we are in the phases III of COVID 19, i hope there is no phase IV  ???

OP is talking about the federal government of Nigeria, here is a link to get the full story if you like: https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/460721-updated-covid-19-nigerian-govt-imposes-curfew-other-new-restrictions.html

Imo, it's an absurd sort of curfew as well, but the thing is there is a high level of insecurity in Nigeria atm, and the Nigerian Police force are actually struggling to curb this very issue, thus I think the government have imposed this curfew on the grounds of insecurity, more than that of covid-19. Having said that, Vaccination is on going in Nigeria, and to the best of my knowledge it's moving at a reasonable speed, neither has there been any recent massive spread of covid-19 in Nigeria. It does not come to be as a surprise at all, the Nigerian government are having quite a lot of issues on it's hands, and this curfew is a response to that, and not the pandemic.

Well, here's a little, bitty start. They shouldn't really string him up. That would be going too far. How about vaccinating him every 6 months, in solitary for life. Don't worry. He wouldn't last long. Not much inhumane torture there.

GOP introduce bill to Congress to fire Anthony Fauci (http://www.freedomsphoenix.com/News/304581-2021-05-14-gop-introduce-bill-to-congress-to-fire-anthony-fauci.htm)

House Republicans introduced new legislation on Wednesday, May 12,  to effectively fire top U.S. epidemiologist Anthony Fauci from the director's post.

The Fauci's Incompetence Requires Early Dismissal (FIRED) Act. was authored by Rep. Warren Davidson (R-Ohio), co-sponsored by Reps. Chip Roy (R-Texas), Andy Biggs (R-Ariz.), and Ralph Norman (R-S.C). It will set new restrictions on appointees to direct the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), which, if enacted, would be an absolute termination of Fauci from his position.

The bill reduces the term of the NIAID director post down to 12 years; Fauci has occupied the position since 1984. During President Donald Trump and Joe Biden's presidency, he has served as White House director and adviser on COVID-19, which has displeased many due to his endorsement of lockdowns and public mandates.
