Title: Coinbase adding dogecoin

Took Armstrong enough time to add them.  They missed a lot of action this year.  Coinbase seems one step behind the curve. Coinbase is definitely warming up to alt trading though :)

Aw that makes the difference because the joke now is worth billions. Its not because the technology behind doge is good but its because of money to be earned with.
Armstrong is saying he isn't trying to win fees but being the most trusted. What he is trying to say Doge can be trusted while not checking the top wallets with more than 40B of Doge.

It looks like even this news affected the price positively. Because we are seeing it at $0.49 right now. After Dogecoin is listed on Coinbase, I think we will see the price increasing to a level which is close to its ATH.

If and when coinbase adds dogecoin to their platform, it will be good news for the dogecoin crypto community. This is a coin that started as a form of experiment or joke and now it is already on some of the biggest exchanges in the world and addition to coinbase will make it more available to more people around the world who want to purchase it

Yes, it will pump again as soon as it gets listed on coinbase, who knows it might create a new ATH this time. It has been pumping continuously for no particular reason or news but this news might help it reach the $1 mark. The joke coin might become the biggest news of this year if it reaches that mark.

They have been more careful in what coins or tokens they offer to their user base compared to other exchanges and custodial wallets. I also read that it wasn't that easy to implement Doge chain before and it seems the devs have made some improvements so Coinbase had it easier this time.

They can still make a lot of profit from the addition of Doge. Elon is planning something.

OFC they will be making profit even if they dont hodl doge because they have a passive income from trading fees. Coinbase isn't missing anything out since they are have generating millions of dollar.

Adding a hype project is not easy for them though, they have to consider many things while protecting their own reputation and I don't think Coinbase is being left behind, they are also adopting change and that's a good sign of growth. We cannot expect top exchanges to adopt every hype project, that's not easy. Anyway, its not too late for them since the market is still doing great today, and maybe DOGE is not done pumping yet since Elon didn't dump his holdings yet.

Crypto market is in the downtrend hope this news will give some boost to the price and help it to be on the recovering phase, And it seems $40K resistance can be broken with bitcoin and if that happenes then surely people will switch their panic selling mode and the continuous result of blood path into the whole crypto market.

Dogecoin has successfully gotten the attention of the world, people are zealously pumping money into the coin and no exchange wants to be left out. The joke of the past has become most desirable and I'm not surprised that Coinbase has finally decided to add the coin.

And soon the Dogecoin will be the most cursed coin once whales dump there bags to poor retail investors that still bagging this coin despite of crazy tokenomics and shitty usecase. Elon musk shill tweets starting to backfire now after slowing down on price action since last week.

Since the season of memecoin launches. Dogecoin seems to become a new player even though its feature are not comparable to those superior projects. Actually when coinbase announced this dogecoin listing is literally a shocked to everyone. I wonder how it got listed first over some good projects on the pipeline. It seems coinbase are riding the hype at all.

Coinbase is one of the best exchanges and they took a long time to list dogecoins because we all thought the fun would be over once Musk has had enough of it but now that the market has quietly stabilized, I think it was the right time to list the coin. Coinbase is one of the very few exchanges that is really following all the legal norms. I tried to buy ICP coins via USDT but it wouldn't let me because of their terms I guess. I mean I need to buy with either BTC or via my fiat currency. It was confusing to me, maybe I missed something. It's definitely an exchange that follows more legal rules than even Binance, I guess.

They are the biggest exchange in the USA if I am not wrong. I haven't used it much but from what I have heard about coinbase, it is certainly one of the top exchanges in the market. But with a new listing it looks like this dogecoin fun is not going to end anytime soon.

Coinbase's support of meme coins like DOGE only makes more meme coin projects happen. The power of community is strong and it's really crazy. They are encouraging projects that are not really useful to be created. I look forward to serious development projects, rich in ideas and technology rather than such a project. Coinbase is indirectly encouraging lousy development to take place. Maybe Akita or Shiba will be the next crypto to be listed and we will see Coinbase flooded with crypto memes. I hope they are just exceptions to DOGE.

Coinbase added Dogecoin because it is currently booming, if Dogecoin is not booming like now I think Coinbase is not interested in adding Dogecoin to its market, but thanks to the addition of Dogecoin it will be a positive thing to increase the interest of investors and traders in coinbase so that prices can go up again

And now everything has gone down again like what happened in 2018 where everything was dumped in a big way, although personally I didn't expect this to happen, but this is a reality that everyone should see now.
Brother you are right I agree with you. We may not have thought that the current situation has become like the situation of 2018.

Good news for Doge, now that doge is starting to take effect, when Elon Musk started to fully support doge, Elon Musk also plans to replace doge for payment in place of bitcoin.
I do not think Elon Musk will be able to accept Dogecoin as a payment option. He is just trolling and manipulating the market for his own benefits. He said Dogecoin is the future cryptocurrency? Lol.
If he can replace Bitcoin as a centre of cryptocurrency, it won't be significant to use it. Dogecoin will always be a meme coin, and no one can even replace Bitcoin. Even if coinbase accept dogecoin, it's still nothing will change.

Coinbase have been offering altcoins for years now, only the other day my boss was telling me he completed a quiz they offer and was assigned a random basket of $30 in different cryptocurrencies. Their entire business resolves around taking a tiny commission out of each trade and making a profit that way, plus there are also extra fees to move your cryptocoins out of Coinbase entirely. Just like Binance, they know that having the widest range of functional coins is an easy way to extra cash, it's really surprising that it has taken them such a long time to work out the required infrastructure for Dogecoin and they probably missed a fair chunk of profits on it.

Coinbase is very popular exchange with good reputation. To be honest, Market of cryptocurrency depend on that project and demand. Exchange means a place to trade. Good exchange means good and trusted trading place. If exchange effect on doge market, Then price of doge can increase for a short time. But, main responsibility to keeping  price high is doges.

A pump can make some major decisions and it is good to hear that Doge will be added to Coinbase but what happens if the market starts dumping, will they be changing their plans. Will see how it goes and whether they will be adding in the next few weeks.
I am not using coinbase, i would like to know how many coins are listed.

Edit: I thought only a few coins are listed but it looks like there are more coins listed in Coinbase and Doge does deserves to be listed as well.

Musk has been calling for this now for a little while, and Coinbase finally caved. Honestly, I thought this was going to happen it was only going to be a matter of time. In my opinion, prepare for DOGE to take another jump once Coinbase adds them. Elon Musk always seems to get what he wants ;D

Indeed Elon is either planning something big or he might create a carter in the crypto industry that might never get filled. Imagine if Elon dumps all the doge coins he has and at some point, he will, no way one of the smartest investors would keep holding them for a lifetime. Whenever he dumps the doges I can only imagine the mayhem that would follow on the exchanges and some might even shut down and crash. There would be chaos on twitter and I am just curious how things pan out.

It looks like even this news affected the price positively. Because we are seeing it at $0.49 right now. After Dogecoin is listed on Coinbase, I think we will see the price increasing to a level which is close to its ATH.
More exchanges mean more volume and hence better price so yeah getting listed on new exchanges especially as big as Coinbase is surely going to help the price. But all this drama might be over relatively soon, I suspect.

And when you think the hype on doge is about to die down suddenly some news will come to increase Elon's ego, am indifferent with this news, am neither for coinbase or dogecoin, it is all about the money, dogecoin is one of the most hyped and quick profit making project out there and most certainly coinbase don't want to miss out on this lucrative opportunity.

Armstrong added that he had spent time in Washington, DC, improving the regulatory situation for crypto. And in response to analyst questions about future popular uses of crypto, Armstrong cited NFT and its "ad platforms" as potential competitors.

From the quote above Armstrong is fixing regulatory issues, it is necessary to wait some time for this, whether this will be good news for the crypto world, especially for doge and altcoin, just waiting for further news. Get ready for the next surprise.

Just because doge earned popularity, now Coinbase added this old alt. They may be late to the party, but it may further help in doge's price in the market. Let us wait what kind of development will be developed about Elon's collaboration with doge team. Users should be very careful in buying and holding this coin because it seems very risky. One tweet and it may drop its price.

Not that really that theyre behind into action but rather they are careful on making actions or decisions that might really be ending up some problems for them knowing that Coinbase is really heavily centralized.
They might be late but doesnt mean that they cant enter into the current hype or trend we are in. For sure they would really be adding alts which would really be that sensible for them to do
so and adding up more liquidity to the platform which would raises up even more when it comes to popularity and recognition and since this is business
then its just typical that they would really be ending up with this consideration.

I came across this news on Twitter about 1week ago and it's definitely a good news for the dogecoin community, it's really hard to get listed on coinbase and in this case it was listed  for free, coinbase is a really big exchange maybe even bigger than Binance exchange, listing there is a massive news, but even with this news I can't advise anyone to invest in dogecoin, because it is a speculation coin, it's price is also control by tweets made by Elon Musk, definitely not the knd of coin anyone should invest in.

Dogecoin's fundamentals have changed since Elon Musk provided support for this meme coin, who would have thought that Dogecoin's price could almost touch $ 1 this year, but unfortunately the Dogecoin price dumped badly to $ below $ 0.5 again, all because of bitcoin. And this is very interesting, because Coinbase also supports Dogecoin, which means the future is very bright.

Obviously, Dogecoin is more and more popular, the community of Dogecoin is more and more strong, it is all about Elon Musk, we called it celebrity charm.

Dogecoin has grown substantial in popularity and the community has been on a steady increase. It would be out of place for any exchange to be unaware of this new development. The once disregarded crypto has become the most desirable. Coinbase is just realising when the party is about to go down, I hope we enjoy the bull run for a long while.
