Which crypto should I invest? I have 20k.
I look on the crypto SafeMoon
It sound promosing.

I am long for safe investment and long term. Should  i put money on it?

If you'd have to ask us what to invest in instead of doing your own research and making your own decisions, then you probably shouldn't do investing in general. Especially taking note that what seemed to grab your attention was a 2-month old cryptocurrency that's been pretty much just shilled on Reddit and social media.

What is that 20k exactly? Dollars? Franc? Euro? Ruble? Peso? Also @mk4 is right, do your own research first and try to ask the right questions in the forum but to answer your question, I would say that bitcoin is still the number one coin to invest in.

You are about to invest a huge amount of money, it would be good if you are going to do your own research instead of asking it, there are some who will give you what to invest but still, you are the one who is going to decide what it would be based on what you have researched. Among all cryptocurrency, bitcoin would be the best option, invest in bitcoin for the long term, that would be a good profit.

Not sure if you're serious here or being a troll, but do you really think it's a safe investment just because it has "safe" in it's name? I could literally create a crappy cryptocurrency right now named "best crypto investment"; would that automatically mean that it's a great investment?

If you don't know on which coin to invest better keep your money and don't spend it on recommendations of any users here since they might suggest you those shit coins here. Better do your own research first and once your ready pull out your capital and start on investing. Also better go with top alts since they are quite safe.

I think it will be better if you do your own research, look more into the cryptocurrency you want to invest, see the pro and cons from them, and then decide whether you want to put your money there or not. Especially, if you're putting 20k, it's huge amount of money, and asking from strangers will just be pointless if you don't do your own research. You won't know whether they will really suggest you a good investment or not. I can't suggest which crypto you should invest, but maybe you can try to diverse your investment, so the risk will be divided as well, and you might not experience loss or gain at once, but it will be diverse. It'll help more with your investing decision as well.

You need to think long and hard on which project you're going to drop all or most of your 20k. I'm saying this because the market can be shaky at times and you need to only go for beast projects. I shall refrain from naming any but all I advise you do is to look beyond team and project tokenomics. Good luck!

if you want to invest safely and for the long term, then Bitcoin is the right choice for you to make an investment, because the price of Bitcoin will definitely continue to increase and of course Bitcoin is safer than altcoins, so you shouldn't hesitate to invest in Bitcoin for the long term and of course in the future you will definitely get a profit.

Don't waste your time and money investing in a new project without even use in the ecosystem, it's literally insane believing they make a profit but it's high risk and possibly turns into a scam.  There's nothing sounds promising on this SafeMoon, to be honest.

Why not put all your money on Bitcoin instead?  It's proven and tested that you will potentially make a profit through its nature, the volatile.  Sometimes people blindly believe in the hype, they even don't know what is the use of the project that they invest in.  Remember, always have DYOR.

Well, good luck with your safemoon. You are taking a higher risk, I'm not sure how could you face that but either you believe me/us or not, SafeMoon can't be safe at all. Why not consider the known coins like Bitcoin, ETH, and BNB? They are known to that word safe and profit assurance, and I think you are gone too far from it.

Anyway, it was your choice. $20k is a big money, you can lose them all if you got mistaken. Think about spreading it, I think it is a good idea rather than focusing on a single project. I just hope that you won't regret investing in that project.

I don't know much about the coin that you mentioned and I suggested to move this thread to altcoin board because you have just stated that you aren't interested to bitcoin.

There are many suggestions to be bought, and there are some things that you can miss out on. It's a matter of deciding for yourself and not relying on others and then blaming them because you followed them or learning how to know what to buy during these times. It's best to be aware of what to do and the current trends because they can be taken advantage of, but you would be devastated once it turns against you.

Anyway, the safe moon is technically not safe; just basing on its popularity alone during these times is risky. Not for the long term, unless you are shorting it?

I think with your 20k, and you could do a lot of things. Possibly, divide your 20k into different assets, in which you have chosen the best coins for you, and you decided it for yourself and then wait for it to rise. I think that's a great strategy and prevents putting everything in one asset.

I'm not really sure what your choice is what makes you want to be rich from it, is there any guarantee with this large supply of trillions, I don't really believe in shitcoin, it's much safer, what you hold now is better than choosing Safemoon.

You only want it for the long term so think again and remember this is still in the trend, if it is over, the shitcoin will probably fall too.

At this moment Bitcoin is the best choice to invest in right now as the price of Bitcoin has drop-in recent times after making an all-time high 🆙 to $64k early this month, and there are other altcoins to invest in but make sure you do your research to avoid making mistakes.

I haven't much knowledge about SafeMoon so I can't say much about it. I can give some advices to invest into of course but it is best for you to do a proper research before investing into especially not much known coins. If you want to invest into commonly known coins also, then I think BNB could be a really good choice for a long term investment for example.

I will answer for safe investment and long term, about safe i think there are no investment which safe even insurance can collapse and gone with your money. About long term maybe wait bitcoin to dumped a little again and buy it. I think best for long term investment still bitcoin for now because we can see in future bitcoin still have bright chance for people to take profit in it.

Safemoon is a new coin, it is really high risk to invest in this coin. If you are a beginner and look for a safer investment, just avoid investing in a new coin like Safemoon. You are better to choose top coins that become the favorite people to invest their money such as ETH, BNB, ADA, DOT, LINK, XLM, TRX, or EOS. Those coins are safer than the Safemoon.

Maybe you will find most help in the "alt coin" section of the forum for advice if you're looking beyond Bitcoin. Ethereum is quite hot at the moment and being used in many new projects, so it might fit as a portion of your portfolio. Even though Dogecoin is hyped a lot and a bit of a meme coin right now, if you can see past the slightly silly name it has strong support from a team of developers and the amount in circulation makes it much more usable as a form of currency. BNB could also be worth it, as they might be the second large exchange to make a big stock market opening and anyone who has encountered their fees will know that using BNB gives you a substantial discount on the very popular trading platform.

when you are still asking questions like this, it is a sign that you are not ready to invest. your money is your responsibility, especially investing in the crypto world the risk is very high.

So many will respond that op should do his or her research and make decision on which crypto currency to invest. There is no better place to conduct investment in crypto currency research than here is this forum. His questions on which coins to invest is in other in my opinion. Op, since you intend to hold for a longer time period why not go Bitcoin and Etherium.

If you are still not that sure about such coin you were referring to, then I guess you still must not push through on doing investment with such because knowing other people's stand regarding what you were asking will not be a pure basis that you should go and invest it into that coin. If you are really looking forward to make an investment, make sure you are equipped with knowledge on such thing you wanted to have engagement with. Yes, opinion matters specially if you were a newbie but better think of it that decisions will be finalize based on your judgement alone. don't bet your funds on hype altcoins, safest investment only in Bitcoin.  imo the crypto market is in setback, meme coins are becoming the prima donna.  greedy investors hunt for coins like this only want to be rich in 1 night.  The "dog" coin and the "safe" coin are the champions of shitcoin this year.   

I hope that OP has to realize the risk that he wants to face after chasing x10, x100 profit from a new project like what he had mentioned. Putting eggs into a single basket could be very risky, unless if he is investing in Bitcoin.
What he gonna do now is to listen to what is the majority have said, but of course, it was his decision. Many had fallen to wrong decisions because they are too blind not to see what is right and what is wrong.

Are you sure going to safemoon?  New coin will require higher risk.  If you are looking for a coin for investment,  it may better to distinguish your funds into at least two coins,  not all in one coin only.
And for me,  top coins only are worthy for long term investment, moreover, those that have real use case.  
I am personally a fan of BNB besides BTC.

Just to make sure for your asset to prosper, I would recommend bitcoin while it's on the downturn right now. Eventually the bad news that's trying to deceive us will subside in the next few weeks and it won't sustain. I think he's been lockup by SafeMoon already. He thinks that this project will go to the moon and make him rich. He'll be taking this risk, I hope he is right about his decision. I think investing a big percentage at least on bitcoin or Ethereum because is a must in a portfolio because considering the growth of both bitcoin and Ethereum and the profit you could earn.

Invest in top cryptocurrency in my opinion is always the best investment that you could do because it has a high potential and you could avoid the risk of a pump and dump token as well as investing in this token would earn you a good amount of profit because it has a low market price.

Investing in Safemoon islets just safe has a high risk because it's just a new cryptocurrency and in my experience, it's most likely gonna drop its market price, but still it has some potential I think you could gamble just a small percentage of your investment just don't invest a big percentage in this kind of token even though its a hype coin and trending in many platforms.

It's a risky investment but at the same time high reward so I think it's worth a try or have a few safemoon in your portfolio.

rule of thumb when investing in crypto: DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. We can't vouch for you if suddenly the coin we are rooting on dumps out of existence. I will advise you don't apply the promising to every project created from last year to this year because almost every project that was successfully hype during last year till now can make a massive surge in price cause we're in a bullish market and many new investors who are still naive have joined the market and most of them only follow hype base project.
The best time to know a promising project without going deep into the concept, utility, community support level, and use cases is when the crypto market is in the bearish stage.

Do your own research on that crypto OP, you might just be scratching the surface. @mk4 is right, you should do your own research about the best crypto invest in because if someone recommended you a crypto and you bought it and the coin crashed then you will probably blame that person and to avoid that you should do your own research so you have no one to blame, take the recommendation in this thread with a grain of salt, if it interests you, research about it.

If you ask me for the safest investment for long term then you should invest in bitcoins only. You may not get 10-100x returns but you will still get good returns and more importantly this will be the most safest investment. Altcoins may give better returns but you can lose money in them too.

I am a HODLer and I don't trust new coins too much for HODLing them. But I know a friend who derived a lot of profit thanks to SafeMoon. But he is more like a day trader so he likes to invest into this kind of coins for short terms.  ;D

I don't know much about SafeMoon. But if you really need an advice about which altcoin to invest in, then my number one choice is BNB. Because I think we will see the price at $1k and it is not so far away. I also believe that Ethereum is still a good choice to invest in as I expect the price to reach even $10k at least in the long run.

^ We don't really know what will happen to this coin in the future, we criticized every new coin that will arrive but when it will go to the moon, most of us regrets it. Just like what happened on ADA, XRP, Dogecoin, BNB and etc. They had once on the top 10 altcoins in the crypto market cap. If you can afford to invest in Safemoon and include this in your portfolio, why not? As long as don't forget BTC as a top of your priority upon investing. For now, we really don't know what will happen. Just put a try that only you can afford to lose. That is it!

If you would like to invest in crypto for longterm, you should pick crypto that has better fundamental, working product and what problem they want to solved. My personal suggestion is Chia network is good option because offer something different in crypto market, that is Proof of Space and Time. This coin can be strong competitor of Bitcoin.

I agree with you. As long as you won't make a very risky investment into SafeMoon, you can try it out and see what happens next. I bought many altcoins like this. Some of them made me really happy some didn't.

If you want to glance at other coins, you can see like SFP, TKO, SFUND, currently pretty good to enter. Keep making longer predictions to be sure.

I think this is a hype token, a hype token commonly used for the short term with a fairly high risk and less obvious usability. And if what is meant is a safe long-term investment, SafeMoon is the less appropriate option.

If you have already made your mind for investing in new projects like Safe moon then why are you asking for suggestions here on the forum? First rule of investment is self research and your investments should not be influenced by others.But if you are really willing to invest 20k don't go for SafeMoon but rather diversity your portfolio and go with Bitcoin,ETH coins with larger portion.But if you are onto altcoins then Solana and DOT are one of the most promising project who have changed the blockchain ecosystem and Market cap and prices are increasing due to projects using their blockchain technology.Don't get manipulated by the social media these days as most of the coins shilled are on just temporary surge and soon crash including your SafeMoon.

I respect to what OP's choice, coz I believe that he knows what to invest in and that projects seem to be his comfort and trusted ones. I know he has some potentials coins on his previous investment but he wants to explore more and taking advantage while altcoins still pumping.

If you own Bitcoin, then you have the most important currency and you have to plan for the long term. If you favor altcoins like safemoon then imagine yourself on a turbulent journey and a headache. It will take more time and you will often wonder if you can do better with trading, staking and much more.

Upon deciding which crypto you are going to invest in, it would be best if you would conduct research or ask other for their opinion. The decision is still yours to make, just use their given opinions and the crypto you saw as a basis on what's really the best crypto for investment at the moment. Bitcoin is currently down so I would suggest it for sure. If you saw Safemoon as a promising coin, try giving it more time and always monitor its price movement and if you see it has a good one, then make an investment but try diversifying sometimes on other potential coins to maximize the profit you can make.

$ 20k is indeed the range that can earn some bitcoins. however, I might choose to hold ethereum over bitcoin. I know that bitcoin has less risk than others and also a higher profit rate, however, I am pretty sure that Ethereum can get a 0.1 BTC / ETH pair range. So, if you have it for $ 20k at the moment, I think the benefits could be bigger.

i suggest to make some research first before making an investment to that project because on this day its not safe to trust such promising projects because of some fake project that alway turned into shitcoins after all. So be smart indeed you have a big capital so it always good to have specific information to assure everything will gonna be alright and you can obtain good return instead which the most important especially if you're basing long term as you said..

That is ONE aspect to consider,,, but just doing that alone gets you in trouble because especially these days you have new exchanges (and many old ones) running bots of their own to fake trading volume. Just buy 10 BTC worth of ABC coin and sell/buy to yourself and volume is done easy.

Same as on defi, you can even just open your own pool and trade to it as much as you want.

Safemoon? I can't see any safe on this project, unlike those coins I've mentioned above. I know all investments correspond with risk but choosing coins is a big factor that could help to lessen such risk.

If you had $20k to spend in crypto maybe you should find another stable coin like ETH or any others stable coin.

Do an extensive research to know if this coin is worthy to invest in, its best to have your own understanding for this specific coin before asking for other's opinion. Plus those investors who also have safemoon in their portfolio will probably say good words to convince you, safemoon is quite popular in social media and actually different groups on fb are shilling it.

Anyway you have a good capital for investment so better to consider diversifying. Include in your portfolio the coins that are already existing for years or those well-established coins because its a proven worthy to hold even for long period and unlikely to be delisted in exchanges.

I agree, I personally don’t recommend to fully invest your token in safemoon. Its hype gone now but it might also get back. If we’re planning to have a large amount of investment in crypto, we must make sure that we have fully understand the risk of jumping into cryptocurrency. The market has high volatile in just few minutes or hours the market can suddenly crash. I also don’t recommend to put a lot of money and only the amount we afford to lose. A long-term investment projects like BNB, THETA, INJ and ETH are good tokens to consider.

Just avoid those coins that has been proven just got through hype.

You need to sellect coin to invest all by your self, because in times that you're investment failed you will be the one to suffer so do your own research about the coin that will posibly rise in the next few months or years. However you can still listen to suggestions but it is not necesary to follow others suggestion if you found that it is not the best coin to invest.

Safe investment and long term are always in the top in coinmarketcap it is just in you to do some research and analyzing the data.
