welcome back, there are lots of topics that you might be interested in just by exploring these sections since lots of newcomers are posting and asking questions, you can also create topics that we can discuss, there are lots of new things that happen since you been away for two years now, but since lots of us are sharing and asking about new things in crypto I'm sure you can be back on track in no time, again welcome back to the forum.

Account age is 4 years and you were sleeping two years. Half of your lifecycle has been wasted in sleeping! I guess Rip Van Winkle was better than you because at least he has not slept half of his lifespan :-D

A grand welcome back party!!! :-P

Yes, Musk bought BTC, releases press that tesla is now accepting Bitcoin, BTC moons, sells btc, releases news that due to environment reason it's no longer accepting BTC.

Shibanu token creator(s) donate half of supply to vitalik, vitalik donates it to India covid relief. This fund has accumulated huge amounts, idk how they gonna convert to fiat as Indian exchanges don't have that much liquidity.

Welcome back diahsw.
Why did it take you so long to get back here, did you lose faith in bitcoin?  ;D
The main news is that the bitcoin price has risen sharply in these 2 years, so I sincerely hope that if you’ve had some bitcoin funds before, you haven’t sold them.
There are more and more other good crypto projects, Defi is interesting, and big investors are investing more and more in bitcoin.
I think due to the entry of institutional investors this last bitcoin growth is more sustainable compared to the 2017 growth you probably remember.

I can't wait to hear the latest and hottest news. hopefully all the good news i will hear.

As for some security issues you probably missed, it would be a good idea to read the following :

  • Electrum vulnerability allows arbitrary messages, phishing (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5090097.0)
  • Ledger database leak --> Phishing (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284855.0)

Some interesting things when it comes to forum members :

  • Goodbye, world! (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5282911.0)
  • TecShare - Farewell my friend. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5319417.0)
  • Long-time sig campaign farm ID'd via single wallet transaction (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5313637.0)
  • Open message to Matthew and Goodbye (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5329366.0)

In short, we lost some older members, some Electrum users lost their BTC because they became victims of phishing, and most Ledger users lost their privacy when their database was hacked. There may be some more things that would be worth mentioning, but they don’t come to my mind right now.

Oh, it's great that you returned to the forum, and why with only one of your accounts?
I can guess why you are so humble. Lauda has flagged your account for cheating, you are not French, although you pretend to be him. And note that Lauda wasn't the only one who left you negative tags.
I can imagine how you are going to revive the forum. ;D ;D ;D Clap our hands!

Your quite efficient at this and you present your query with undeniable facts and proofs to support everyone of your claims.

I guess most of these where though forgotten but sadly, the skeletons can not stay buried forever, thanks to Lovesmayfamilis, always out for the good of the forum as we all should too. Sadly, the reincarnation doesn't seem to be a very joyful one no more except OP is up for a big change then, its most welcomed and we would be hoping for some major improvement too.

Anyway, the best way of reconnecting with the forum would be to look out for topics on events of the past year. Lately, its been Elon Musk and his price manipulation of the market.

I really believe in bitcoin, but I have lost faith in bounties, which in the last 2 years I have been very enthusiastic about taking part in a good and interesting ICO project, but the average scam and con artist, sometimes when the project is finished is not paid, there are also times when I have been paid but the market is not available, what's worse the market is already available but the coin price is very disappointing. So I hope my friends here can provide tips on choosing trusted and safe bounties projects.

Looking out for what you missed out would means bringing all the thread discussed so far on the forum in a single thread and that wouldn't be possible I think getting involved in any discussion of your choice by so doing you would have a glimpse of what you might feel you missed all along

Are you sure it's really 2 years?. I checked your post history and the last post you made is on february 3, 2020 and you said you lose faith in bounty campaign yet you still submit a proof of registration for Twitter campaign and everyone can clearly read that you want tips about how to spot a trusted and safe bounty projects.

I don't know why you were away from the forum for so long. You are not supposed to have any weaknesses. But you are far away from many things. You can find something very important to be away and lost. You can now get everything you lost by spending a lot of time in the forum. You can also get it from the search button.

Thank you for coming back to the forum.

Wow.. I am so much happy for you to come back after good two years of sleep.. May God be highly praised.

But however, here are some of the cool news about Bitcoin you may have missed during your 2 years in sleep..

1.      On 21st Oct, 2020 PayPal made an announcement which will enable US customers to start using their Bitcoin to pay for goods within it's million online merchants globally.

2.    On 8th Feb, 2021 the CEO of Tesla Elon Musk, who happens to be the most richest man in the world bought $1.5billion worth of Bitcoin, making him the first person to have own the highest portion of Bitcoin.

3.    On 13th April, 2020, was the day Bitcoin reaches it's highest value of $63,474 per Bitcoin. Etc....

And many others, but once again.. you are highly welcome back fully
