Title: How to know coins or token events?
Post by: hack3rcon on May 16, 2021, 08:21:16 AM
Hello,
How can I understand the new projects of the coins and tokens and why their price is grows or falls? For example, hard fork, upgrade and etc.
Why the price of a coin like ADA has gone up?

Thank you.

Because they were saying that Goguen update will come out this month and launch mainnet for the smart contract platform for ADA. This is important because any token right now or project can do it on ADA platform.

Investors are buying the token and so the price goes up. When its release, I'm pretty sure there is a correction so if you wanna profit, take a percentage of ADA and buy some.

Events - it's like you do marketing for your product that is not yet known by the general public, so that it can bring in new customers for your product. However, consumers will review the product whether it is worth buying or not.
development - this refers to new technical developments that will implementation to them such as hard forks, upgrades and etc. Take for example ethereum which upgraded to ethereum 2.0 where the efficiency of the network is more optimized and new features were introduced in ethereum 2.0. this will encourage more people to buy ethereum so its value increases. for ADA you can see the technical developments that will implementation to their network protocol

You won't be able to follow the entire crypto market.
To begin with, you need to choose 5-10 main projects (10 is even a lot) in which you will invest and several projects that you think will be promising and follow these projects.
The main portfolio of a professional investor consists of 40% of 5-10 coins. The rest 40-45% are stablecoins and 5-10% are shitcoins.

If you only focus on few coins I think you can follow all the event, fomo, update etc. But if you want to focus to all/entire coins you can't since you'll missed many event. fomo, news on some coins.

Official project telegram, reddit, twitter, bitcoiintalk, and article (e.g. cointelegraph) is the answer, you'll get fresh update if you always follow those social media and website.

Don't forget you need to do own research and make sure the update/events is not only a rumor or fake.

I looked at it, but I can't see anything about hard fork!
How some people informed that a coin will pump and dump?

Other coins like TRON and EOS have smart contract too. Am I right?
If the ADA smart contract launched, then how about its price? The correction will happen after the smart contract or before of it?

You can try to click on the fork tab. you will have lots of small tab appeared at the top of page. You will able to find what fork that will be coming soon. i can find that easily and you may need to spend more effort to find that but it's so easy to find that on the page dude.

I just wanna try to remind you this if people will be buying on the rumour and sell for the news.
The implementation must be people buy before the hardfork and they will sell after hardfork.

i'm agree, the information you provide is quite complete. from my experience before the hard fork event, it is in accordance with the information you provide. So after some hard fork events, I prefer to sell all the coins, and buy back after the hard fork.

Up usually for good news, and down for bad news. You can monitor it in telegram groups, or twitter, or other social media.
Or if you want to know what events will be held, you can visit coinmarketcal.com

To understand a new project? of course you have to look at the whitepaper, roadmap, partner, team, they are all interrelated. News related to coins or projects is also the main thing to watch. You will get used to it if you keep doing it and you can make your own choices.

for ADA. I didn't follow the progress at all, sorry

This is an easy way to find out about upcoming events. Do events like this always increase the price of these coins? such as the recent Pundi X hard fork event made the price increase

To understand the new project, you can see the whitepaper which includes information about the team, the concept and distribution of tokens that can be understood. token that is born from a legit project as well. we can see the price of the coin in the crypto market too so we can find out the market price. There are several crypto market platforms and you can learn them so that your assets are profitable

Now the whitepaper can also be faked with the team which is also not necessarily clear, so the whitepaper cannot be trusted completely anymore now and for tokens that are already on the exchange it is easy to check, but for those who are not on the exchange what is the solution, because most tokens new it will not immediately exist in any exchange.

the simplest way is by follow or join their social media channel such as twitter or telegram
because most of coins, will give the latest updates from their project in their official twitter or telegram regularly
