Title: The cryptocurrency market is nearing the end of a bullish market?
Post by: soenan on May 17, 2021, 03:08:26 PM
I personally believe that the Cryptocurrency market is nearing the end of the current bull market with most likely the end will occur at the end of the year. As such, there is a lot of hype and stupid money entering the market from retail investors who have absolutely no clue about what they are actually buying. They are new to Crypto and just follow the Fomo crowd. There may be money to be made in the meantime, but for seasoned veterans who have been through this cycle, it is likely to end up in tears for the vast majority of people who aren't smart enough to know when to get out before losing it all is at excessive risk.

What do you think and What do you expect to happen in the near future for Cryptocurrency?

At the moment there is no exact understanding of what will happen next. It seems to me that most likely soon there will be a fall in bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies but there is no exact certainty about this, since the money is still very cheap.

From some prediction I read online or watched on YouTube, they were all saying the same thing.. And that is that the current bull market will last till November 2021, then to be followed by a 3 years crypto winter where everything will likely return back to where they started this bull run from, and some even lower, according to the prediction, this wont happen without bitcoin hitting above 100k$.

So now, if we should really believe that the bull market is over, this is to say that all this guys that call themselves market analyzers were wrong,? And also confirms the fact that the crypto market is highly unpredictable?
Well, this we will find out in a couple of weeks maybe, and if truly the bull market is over, then I believe we should say thank you to Elon musk for being our nightmare.

The future is bright but this for the long term hodlers. The different situation will be for the short term hodlers as the bitcoin dump creates so many fear around the market. That being said that if the drama that happens on twitter has been contributing a lot to the bearish trend of crypto.

For the past few weeks now the market isn't as bullish as before and we keep seeing more reds here and there, it's like the market is getting weaker and weaker though there are few recoveries but the bulls are not as strong as before, anyways a word is enough for the wise, I expect everyone to have something great to talk about this bull season once it's over

Whatever happens everyone should be prepare when the bull season ends, as of the moment taking advantage of the open opportunities is the best thing to do because bear is just around the corner, crypto has still a lot of barriers ahead.

The way the market is going recently, I don't think this bill run will last any longer perhaps another trend may emerge.
Elon Musk has spoilt everything and I think his agenda  is make doge the no. 1 top cryptocurrency but I am very sure other crypto enthusiasts aren't that foolish to follow his conspiracy.
According to his tweets, he even claimed that doge scale 10x more than bitcoin buy he forgot that bitcoin cash were all forked from bitcoin and they are still struggling today.

I think money is going to slowly transfer back into crypto possibly reaching $3T this year however BTC will not have as much a percentage of the market cap as previous years.

That is the thing about people not understanding about long term holders, the short term does really matter to us as well. I am a long term bull, I believe bitcoin will eventually be over a million dollars per bitcoin, I know that it won't happen anytime soon but if it happens before I die, that is good enough for me.

However the short term still matters to me for one simple reason ; buying chances, after all if the price drops under 40k these days I will buy some more if I can get the money together, and if it drops under 30k? I will try to gather every money I can scrape together and buy a lot more, why? Because I know that bitcoin will go up and that is why buying lower means a lot and it is the short term actions of a long term holder. Sure long term usually means the moment we sell, we sell years and years later and not quickly, but that doesn't mean that we do not buy.

I still expect the best in the future. All of these that happens are part of the market and you don't expect that it will be an unstoppable increasing trend.

It has to go down somehow so that it can increase and break the barriers above. If you think that it will never correct then you're missing a lot. While the market corrects, you have to check yourself if you're ready for the worse or for the better.

We should be ready to every possible happenings in cryptocurrency which it may be positive or negative because there is always possibilities that it may happen, most especially we cannot predict what will happen in the future. What we need to do is always put ourselves ready and be flexible enough to find another option for us to be successful.

The newbies were doing panic selling and it's still happening right now while the pro traders are starting to load more and more coins from the market. So many newcomers didn't experience the 4-year cycle and they know nothing about that. Even the new crypto can be dumped as it was not strong enough. The price of bitcoin will remain stable after this.
I would like to see more and more weak hands will be dumping their assets due to the panic sell-off. It's still possible the market will be facing another red wave again.

Bear market is inevitable so its really good to be prepared and have some buying power already so when the market hits the rock bottom again, you can buy more. If you still have chance to take profit now, do it because the next trend is unpredictable and we might not be able to rise again on this correction. Though BTC shows some life already, it is still not safe to say that we can break resistances, the volume is still weak.

Even if bullish trend is near to its end, we should be thankful for it because we know we are making profits despite of the market's pump and dump moments.

And since bearish trend is definitely coming whether we like or not, let's start collecting our hard earned money again so we can eventually grab the chance again to buy more coins that we can add to our portfolio. It's best to face the bearish season with positivity rather than stucked to being negative because bull season is already over.

And let these panic sellers do it, whales will catch them and sell it back to them someday. That is certainly the reality as not all are selling or buying, and this was the reason why the price doesn't fall straight unlike before.
We are still high at $3k (during this post) seems the market is able to hold for a while until weak hands will be done selling their Bitcoin. But also have to expect the others to dump more if they saw the declines continue.

It's possible that bullish market is about to end. There seem to have factors affecting this like the IRS investigating binance and then there's Elon Musk creating fud to the market. He enjoys the attention given to him so it's a way for him to grab control to manipulate the market with his fans. If support lines breakout, there will be massive dump of BTC, its the altcoins that keep their stand.

It's difficult to predict if the end of the bull run and probably even the veterans is gonna have a hard time figuring it out, but personally, I think the market could still recover and probably 1 more pump.

It's always kinda risky at this point because investors or newcomers in the cryptocurrency investment could easily panic sell and everything could follow to the dump because newcomers could is just not used to seeing their investment dumping.

But for sure the big dump is gonna come just like what happened before and after that, it's gonna be the big comeback and probably it could easily x3 the market cap easily.

If you said that we are nearing the end of bull run market then what do you expect?

It will be bearish.

However, I'm not seeing this is the end, we still have a lot of legroom, end of the year is like more than 6 months from now. Anything can happen, we might see a swing price again, or super fast rally before the year closes. I agree that those for newbies, they will continue to either lose or mate money here. And it could end up disastrous for them. But hey, at least they learn some valuable lessons along the way.

I do not have any idea if the crypto market is nearing the end because the crypto market can back increase after this downtrend. But if the crypto market is really getting the bear trend in the next month, we need to prepare for that and use the time to buy the coin. We hope that the investors will not tolerate greed to chase profit and try to understand the current market situations.

The cryptocurrency market is currently very unhealthy and scary. They show some positive graphics and then lower the market again.
I think we shouldn't be making investments in a hurry these days. I think the bull market is not over yet, but this correction will take a little longer  :-\

I think so, cryptocurrencies market can be changing its trend in the end of this year or in the beginning of next year. My scenario is the market will continously for bull run until the total marketcap reached about $4-$5 trillion and BTC hit $above $100k. Then we will see bearish season again just like on 2018.

Even if the cryptocurrency market bullish will end soon, I think the bull trend will come again, whether it will come in the next months or years. It is always like that and I think that is a cycle in the crypto market. If you think that the crypto market will face a bear market, you can save your money and leave the market for a while until you are sure the price is at the bottom price. But I think it will not be easy to detect the bottom price as we do not know how deep the price will be.

Well the crypto maeket is still in a bullish trend base on long term factors or lemme say it's still going to go up but the market needs to retrace for a while for it to gain momentum to continue it bullish trend.

Like we all know that the market would never continue it current trend without retracing which is a must that will still continue happening. This is just an obvious rule of trading  but it's just unfortunate that many traders including investors are not aware of this forces that is pulling the market.

I believe the market is still going to fall below 30k before continuing it upward trend.

Today itself is still in the bullish season. But the market crashed and experience this current market situation, full of the crash almost every day. Many FUD are here to make many more people panic and then sell their coins. And this really works.
However, if it is already in a certain market, and we don't know what should do, just ensure yourself to be more and more ready with all market situation, but crash or even rise up. And after the end of the bearish market, there will be a very long wait task to wait for the market to get bullish again.

it's still not detected that this is the end of the bull market, maybe there will be 1 more year for the bull market to run,
let's see how the bitcoin price reacts until the end of this year, if bitcoin is able to be above $100k then next year is a bear market,
but if year-end bitcoin is still at $30k to $50k, so this is an accumulation cycle
Here, we should stay in positive. I guess there is still lots of room to go, why would anybody want the bear market which can last for months or years. The whole world can predict, which doesn't make anything. It's not bear market yet, it's perfect time to accumulate. That's what the indicators are telling.

Don't panic seeing the current market conditions, I agree that we must always think positively. In order to give us the strength to face all of this,
why do we say now the crypto market is going to a bear market. Even though I think the current price is still quite high when compared to the previous
year's price. So there is still a wide opportunity for the market to recover, now our patience is being tested. So we have to believe in the coins of
our choice, I myself still hold Bitcoin and several altcoins that I consider potential. Because I am still optimistic that we are still in a bull market.

And also, no one can actually determine about the bullish and bearish season. Sometimes, it depends on someone's point of view or where we are comparing it from. Because if we are comparing the price of today vs last year, you can very well say, we are still in bullish season. But of course, if you are comparing it with the ATH of about 64k, we can say we are in the bearish season. So it is a matter of perspectives here. But looking at the current market, we are still doing good, as btc is still in the 35k level.

yeah, I was still thinking positive despite the market crash...we have this drop today but it gonna be over soon. And besides, we have been through these struggles before, and we still able to survive. This is because people are also not get affected by the FUDS, negative news as their faith and trust remain. This what exactly we needed for...
What we have to do is to understand the market situation, we don't need to ask why and why because this is really be happening whether we like it or not.

Actually, no one really knows it is the end of bullish or not. I think there is still a chance for this market to improve again in Q3 or Q4 of this year. I admit if the current dump is quite massive and the crypto market is likely hard to recover it. But this is a crypto market, sometimes it can surprise us, so we cannot claim if the bullish is already almost over.

I heard rumors if the current dump is just manipulation by big players or whales. Some people even believe that we surely will see a big pump again in the next few months. So, they suggest us to keep holding and not be panic.

I also think the market has entered the end of a bullish trend. I believe this is because bitcoin and other big coins have not shown any signs of recovery to date. My worries have only increased with the amount of bad news these past few weeks. and my hope for the near future or even in the future is, I hope the market crash is not too severe. I hope the price doesn't go back to before the bull market started. if that happens I'm afraid the crypto market won't have the strength to bounce back.

It's clearly seen that the bull run didn't even run up to a year, so bad! The past bull runs ran for a full year, so this is more reason I think the bull run hasn't ended yet, the dump we saw was caused by FUD being spread which affected the price  massively causing a downtrend. So for me I could possibly say we will still witness the bull season this year, it might not just come suddenly but will surely come once the FUD in the market is cleared out we will start seeing  a massive pump in market prices, so let's just be patient with the market.

signs that the bull market is starting to end, the amount of fud is starting to make the price fall further with the average price continuing to fall, making bitcoin more directed towards the bears market and that has happened over and over again until now you can see how the market tends to be sideways, it's not easy to read the chart Currently, because the market is classified as unbalanced, buyers are still waiting for the lowest price, bad news issues continue to emerge to shake bitcoin's dominance.

It could be, but we can be sure about that. Maybe this is the correction phase with a sideways that happen to the market. Maybe this trend is triggered by new people in crypto who do not know much about crypto and are afraid if the price goes down too deep. So they sell their coins at once and waiting for the next lower price to buy them back. But we really do not know what will happen in the near, but if the bull trend is the end and the bear trend comes, we need to prepare our money to buy more at a low price.

If I do predict about our profit, none of us will get the highest profit. What I mean is that none of us know the proper time to get out. I expected that bitcoin wouldn't dip below 30k USD. Bitcoin prices didn't fall by the huge rate, so you can't predict this is the last stage of bullrun. If you think this is the stage, then you should already take the profit.

It doesn't matter if bullish will end in the market because that's part of the cycle,  indeed it's a good opportunity again because soon when it reached the real support during bearish surely we can avail a very low price to invest.
And lastly don't think market will die because to be honest market now is getting stronger despite of some manipulation as its showing strong support everytime when it fluctuate , so if i were you jus t focus to accumulate instead while you have so much time to don't miss the next big wave.  Don't worry about the current and focus for the future.

Bulls and bears are part of crypto and will always be, although it always feels awful whenever we are approaching bear market because your investment will drop alot, i.e if you are holding any assets when the bear arrives, but on the other hand, it gives an opportunity for new investors to buy and also for old investors to buy at low price, bear market has its good side and bad side, only smart people knows how to take advantage of it.

If we refer to 2017 pattern, the real crash will happen in early of next year which will make 60% drops for it's all time high, maybe it will around 15k - 20k. But in near future there are still many probabability for crypto market to have another bullish since there are no a big bad news after the china bad news month ago.

For the bear market that is currently happening right now, I don't think we are nearing form the end of it nor the start of another bull run. We should just stay aware from monitoring the price change in the market. When it comes to the future of crypyo, iti is vivid that crypto will be able to survive and keep prevailing in the future. I think in the next few days or months, crypto will keep on dumping and many will be able to gain some advantage on it which will lead for them to beneift in the future. If you have current investment on any crypto, just make sure you monitor it and you are updated on the changes in the market.

I believe without going down there is no going up, without going up there is no going down. In order for bitcoin to survive it has to go any direction, let's assume we start with up, it needs to drop eventually from that up because people eventually need to sell, if you are not selling it, and nobody is selling it, there is no sellers at all, then who buys it? And how could you say you have a profit?

After all if you do not sell it is fake profit, you can't use it, it is useless, you basically lost all of your investment never to see it again if you NEVER sell, still a long term holder is good, but never sell is not option, so when people start to sell, it will drop and that's normal. On the other side, if it goes up, and nobody buys, that means it will keep going down more and more until someone buys, and that will crash the price so much that if nobody buys then it is zero, so it needs to go up eventually.

As of this moment, the market in my view isn't on the way to exit a bullish cycle but instead is currently exiting a bearish market. Although I see quite a few negative news or FUD going around the internet at the moment, I still believe that this will not do much with the market price. In fact, I think that the bears are starting to finally give up to make way for the bulls. I already bought back(just bitcoin though since it will be the one that has good potential to move up a lot at the moment).

That is right, both of them are just part of the crypto world and as you mentioned above, the bear market gives us a huge opportunity and new investors to make money. But we should be aware of our decisions, during this time we have to try finding the best projects which have more potential to be the best in the future. Some people lose their money during this time, but it is not the end of the crypto world, we have still time to make money.

I hope that will not happen but we do not know what will happen later. The price really drops from the all-time high price, but the price can increase so high in the next year, so we have two options that we will see from bitcoin. Hopefully, Q3 or Q4 can bring a good time for a crypto to recover and reach the high price again. The negative news that can happen can give more effect to bitcoin and people will see that bitcoin can give the opportunity to make money.
