Hi, I am new to crypto? I was just following the crypto market for last few days. is this a good time to invest in bitcoin? if yes then short term or long term.

Well, it's always recommended to buy Bitcoin every time the price drop but I don't know if this is the dip price of Bitcoin.

Honestly, no one could predict what will be the price of bitcoin in the next day or month because bitcoin is unpredictable.

Since you are here in trading discussion I believe that you are looking for some advice from trader here. So here's my good advice to you if you want to make a profit on down trend always do short and buy Bitcoin where there is a huge drop or just like what happened recently from $41k to $37k.

$37k could be the dip price and bounce back again at around $41k and always make sure that you use Stop-limit or OCO to avoid loses.

Short term its good place to grab 10-20% during a comeback to around 45k which will most likely happened. In long term ... I would rather be carrefour. It does not matter what was a reason for dump ... it happened. -40% daily amplitude on BTC? Thats not normal correction. Thats the second bloodiest day in last 6-7 years. Only Covid panic sell day was worse. We broke 200MA, We broke every possible trend, every possible bullish indicator. It means that every technical trader will short every possible bounce. We will see hudge supply each time price will start to go up. We will need huge demand to convince technical traders that they should be bullish again. Demand from long term visioners. Do we have it NOW? I'm not sure. "China bans crypto" for 10th time and we have 20% dump. That's not what you see in bull runs. During strong bull runs people are too blind with lambo visions to take care about news, fundamentals.

Back to your question, look man, bitcoin is highly unpredictable, and so is almost all the major cryptos that have increased very much in value, anybody who will tell you to buy bitcoin straight away is just guessing for you, and one thing you should try as much as possible to avoid in crypto is people making decisions for you, the sooner you learn to make your own decisions and accept to bear whatever comes out of it,(profit or loss), the better and smoother your journey in this space will be.
Just like I've said before, bitcoin is highly unpredictable, someone can tell you to buy now and you discover that after you've bought, the price end up going down the more, there was only one right time to buy bitcoin, and that was when the price was $0.01, right now, there ain't any right time to buy that doesn't come with some level of risk, so you yourself know the amount of risk you are willing to take, so from the level of risk you are willing to take, you should decide which time is right for you to buy bitcoin.

Both long term and short term, it's a good time to buy bitcoin now. After going back to $40k a little while, the price dumped again. That's a timely question that you've asked and that's what you need to know. $36,000 is the price that you can see today and that will make you comfortable to buy because it's a lower price than a day or two. But be sure to know what you're investing before doing it.

How can you be sure that the price dump won't continue? Nobody can know this right?

So, for any new person trying to get into the market best makes sure that you do your own research as at the end of the day you're risking your own money.

Be smart and don't jump into every dip possible because you don't know if that really is a dip or not!

For me it is not quite right that the bearish possibility will continue and maybe a price below $ 30k could be a possibility.
So for me, beginners don't invest money when it's unstable even though many people recommend buying bitcoin because the low price doesn't rule out the possibility of falling again, so it's better to do research and continue to monitor the market until it really recovers.
But for me it will continue to fall and the bullish trend is over.

Long term, yes, but for short term, no. Market direction is rather hazy as of this moment that it feels like we won't be experiencing more crashes but it continues to do so anyway. If you're in for a short trip, tossing coins back and forth to make a quick profit, perhaps this is not the best of time. You may be caught in a squeeze and be forced to sell at a loss if you're impatient.

Personally I'm just waiting for sub-$30k to buy again, as I believe that that price point and opportunity will be hard to come by once a rebound occurs.

when the market is crashing like this we also need to be vigilant, because the price decline continues, FUD is increasingly being spread. to get a deep price we need to monitor the market because it is currently down a trend, don't get stuck at a price that is too high. buying in stages or 20% of the capital is probably better. for now, altcoins are still too risky because bitcoin prices crash.

The OP needs to assess first what is the reason why he is investing in bitcoin in the first place.
He will be the only one who can answer, if he is here for long term (how long) or short term.
Is he using funds that he can very well afford to lose or is he using his life's savings?
He can use the scalping strategy if he wants to make profits at a short term basis.
But he needs to be careful, as these small gains, may be gone at one trading mistake.

Depends on your choice because not all would really be a long term hodler and not all would really be a short time trader.So this would answer depending into your own preference.

Asking out if this would be the best time to buy bitcoin? I can partly said yes because of the recent price drop where I can say that the current price drop is a good point to get in.

Not an assurance if the price would go down deep further but this is much better rather than buying yourself into 50-60k point.

Buying bitcoin now is a lot more cheaper compare to last month, but there's no guarantee that the price will stop from dumping and no one can assure to you this one. If you want to buy Bitcoin now, you can buy at least a small amount and when the price dump again, better to buy more. We don't know what is the bottom yet, so stay cautious and understand the risk of investing in cryptomarket, Bitcoin is my top choice though.

At this time while the price considered as still high, short-term is ideal but for sure it changes depending on the market flow and also what is your plan.
Besides, we believe that Bitcoin will even grow more in the coming years that is why some will take the risk of holding.

But for me, I prefer a short deal, buying and selling are still the strategies I used which in this way I took every opportunity to make a profit.

However, before you invest you should know that you have to handle the risk.  If you heard about the person who took his life because he thought that the correction is already done and all his assets have been liquidated?  I don’t want you to experience the same.

You should agree with yourself to track the price actively, as every minute counts in Bitcoin especially today.  Bitcoin is currently on its way to recovery I should say and during this time, it’s better to invest in Bitcoin with a short term profit goal, the ATH and increases might take longer, and possibly, the correction would persist, so I think you have to take advantage of the bitcoin’s volatile market today as it still has chances to increase in the next coming days.  Good luck with your decision and don't forget DYOR.

Be careful having to deal with this one though, you should have a patience to hodl long enough because the next ATH might come for a really long time and a weak hand isn't going to be able to do it, don't buy bitcoin if you can't hodl for more than 5 months.

I would go on to say that yes it is a good time to invest in bitcoin, now that it is dangling in low prices, you will be able to buy one for a good price. And I would suggest that you should go on a long-term or you can probably set a price that you are going to sell your bitcoin.

See if you are totally new to crypto market then prefer investing for long term in bitcoin and enjoy hazzle free profits because short term market manipulation could mess up your mind and force you to panic sell and it could lead to loss if there's price deviation in buy and sell order reversely.But investment in Bitcoin is best what you can do at current ignoring the prices at moment because it won't matter in long term for sure.Stay away from FUD and be part of this forum which will guide you how to deal with crypto market.Best wishes to you mate.

You know, Bitcoin is one of the potential Crypto currency. Bitcoin price is now dumping because of some reason. Here is one reason is Elon musk tweet and tell that he rejected Bitcoin for selling tesla. By his tweet most of the investors got afraid and start panic sell. For this reason bitcoin Price is now decreasing.  But Bitcoin price will increase again. I think this is the good time to buy some Bitcoin.  Bitcoin is long term investment coin. So buy Bitcoin and hold them for long time if you want to make good profit. Also a suggestion for you that never sell Bitcoin by panic. Stay calm and look on the market.

Someone a long time ago said this to me, can you afford to put your money in box and bury it for 10 years. You can only dig it up in 10yrs time and it might have turned into bag of gold bars or elephant shit.  Can you live with either outcome   If you can truly answer yes then your in the right frame of mind to invest in whatever you want.

That's only an opinion of mine which I think is a good time to buy. But it's still depending on someone including op or someone who just reads what we're saying if they're going to follow. It's quite low already from the recent highs that we've seen and that's why I consider it as a good time to buy but if he thinks that it's not yet the dip, he can do the strategy of buying a little by little during or every dip comes.

Bitcoin is the best crypto investment any body can get into because it is decentralised in total and it's total supply can't be changed. With that said, it is more profiting to invest on it for a long time. Price is around $38k as it dropped from $64k and you can imagine the difference and if price hit the ATH again this year and how much gains a coin could generate which is 90% to 100% and that is a huge ROI.

Bitcoin is a good coin to invest among cryptos but to ask if this is a perfect time for buying? Nha, I suggest to observe the market first and don't get rush. Because as we can see that the price is declining, too risky to start in this situation as we are expecting a bear market. But it depends on your call, you can do it anyway may the short-term is to apply.
You could also take a look at ETH and BNB, there are also good and reliable coins for investment. As many said that never put all the eggs in one basket, maybe you can consider buying them as well.

Buying on the dip is probably the best option in crypto investing. but we also have to look at the current market situation, is it possible to buy it now? I agree on that i believe that if we buy bitcoin on dip then we can earn a big profit if it will bounce back, bitcoin price is now 36k$ I think it will touches 30k$ before it bounce back so i will wait till the price goes down to 30k$ before I'll buy and hold till it reaches the price limit which is 100k$.

Bitcoin $30k-$30k is very doable, however plan your entries and exits. Try not to depend on price action. It will recover once positive sentiment arises, there are different motivation behind why this happens it'll begin to go up once more. Furthermore, the vicious cycle continues. No worries, simply hold.

You are unsure if the current market already on it's dip as chances to go more deeper is always possible.

Observe and keep doing your research beforehand, it's always best to analyze and assess if you see opportunities or if your research give you the sign of entering then grab your chance. Your own decision making that comes from good supporting back up assessment gives you better chance of gaining from your investment.

Yes it is for short term, because bitcoin will rise up soon after the short correction, look at the bitcoin price and today it is at 39k$ ATH and a current price of 36k$ so i think we will earn in short term holding if we do buy and hold this time. I believe that soon bitcoin will pass thr 39k$ and it will going back to 60k$ or above.

I think now is not dip yet. If you want to buy maybe 30% from all capital that you want to use. If down again then you still have money to buy again, if bounced and up you can take profit with amount of bitcoin that you already bought. But that is only if you want to buy bitcoin and make investment in it.

I will suggest that you wait, we now have a very good price for bitcoin but you are not used to what we are seeing, what I am saying is that you wait until the trend goes back and becomes positive or that you at least wait until the price becomes stable as we have no idea for how long or how low the price is going to go, and while that is not a problem for many of us that have been on this market for long it is probably going to be a problem for someone like you that is just a newbie.
