Earning bounties via the Dash Incubator is not the only way to earn Dash via Platform.

After mainnet release you can obviously monetize your finished Dapps as well and create numerous income streams that way.

I'm fascinated by the potential of Dash Platform. The fact that it will act like a decentralized "App Store" using Platform chain as the fuel and Dash Drive as the storage is amazing. If I had any coding ability I would be all over this shot to make a difference in an emerging technology, and get paid for contributing to boot. Exciting opportunity!

That's right, it's quite an amazing evolution ;-) for Dash. The first Dapps that have been created by several Dash Platform community devs are very impressive. Especially considering it's done on a decentralized architecture.

You should learn to code!

We currently have a pretty small, but vibrant community ongoing. Don't hesitate to join us.

Seems like a lot of cryptocurrencies project is making an initiative to incentivizing developers to build on top their platforms. Stellar with their stellar's quest. and LBRY actively rewarding any contributors for their community.

Good luck with Dash. I believe this initiative will attract a lot of creative developers to build things on top of Dash. And whatever things that they will build, I'm sure it will attract the cryptocurrency mainstream to use this platform! ;)

I love the Jembe app, I hope they get that going for release when Platform is fully launched?  Twitter without censorship so cool!

I'm also hopeful someone will make an auction site app on platform, VPN/tor tunnel would be cool too.  Can a decentralized exchange be built on platform?

I think this topic is more suited for the Service Discussion (Altcoins) (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=198.0) board? It's like the forum's Project Development board but dedicated for Altcoins.

I am not a developer but I'm constantly searching for blockchain based apps that I find worth it to use and preferably rewarding as well.

Can you tell me more about this app (or just drop a link)? I know of a twitter-like platform that allows tips in BCH but I find it too centralized and censored as well.

It's on testnet and it's like twitter.  They named it Jemba after the drum, which can also be spelled djemba:

A djembe or jembe (/ˈdʒɛmbeɪ/ JEM-bay; from Malinke jembe [dʲẽbe][1]) is a rope-tuned skin-covered goblet drum played with bare hands, originally from West Africa. According to the Bambara people in Mali, the name of the djembe comes from the saying "Anke djé, anke bé" which translates to "everyone gather together in peace" and defines the drum's purpose. In the Bambara language, "djé" is the verb for "gather" and "bé" translates as "peace."[2]

Not sure if it's back up and running as things keep moving in testnet :D
