Title: Safepal Binance Wallet - Binance dapp Issue!
Post by: muslol67 on May 26, 2021, 12:20:47 PM
Hello, I need help from experienced user.
I am using Safepal wallet app for a while and binance dapp with its feature.

Recently (over 10 days), I made USDC deposit to my Binance dapp USDC wallet. But is didn't credited to my account.

I wrote Safepal support and they directed me to Binance support. Binance support said we can not help and should ask Safepal support.
So, my money is stuck somewhere.

/ I checked the wallet adrress and it is true ( I mean checked one by one!)
/ Etherscan approve is ok!
/ Not credited to binance dapp wallet.

So, I couldn't find any solution.

Do u have any suggestion?

Is that the hardware wallet called SafePal S1?

I don't think the Binance Dapp is the same as the Binance spot wallet but I think you might send the USDC to a different chain?

Can you check the Binance Dapp if what chain you use when you deposit? Is that ERC20, BEP2, or BEP20?

If the address from Binance Dapp is BEP2 you sent it to the wrong chain.
Both ERC20 and BEP20 on Binance are both the same address base on my deposit address on my spot wallet.

Did you connected your safepal wallet directly with your Binance exchange account or not?
Make sure you are using correct eth chain and not their own bsc network that can have exact same 0x address with zero coins.

I noticed some people started to complain more about Safepal hardware wallet issues especially with alternative chains, and I would never trust this closed source wallet for holding my coins.
I am not saying this is the case here, but there is a problem with safepal encoded QR codes so in theory someone could use that to find exploit and change receiving address without you even knowing it.
One last thing you can try if nothing else works is to enter and restore your seed words in other hardware wallets like Trezor.

What is this Binance Dapp you're talking about? I tried to search it and I only found a browser extension to manage your asset on Binance chain. If this is the same app that you're talking about, you probably mixed the chain and sent your asset to a different network. But there is a seed recovery mode on the wallet, maybe you can try your luck with it.

You've used a different blockchain network, BEP-20 and ERC20 addresses have identical looks, so you may be confused by the sending address looks the same but they'd different network.

If you have a private key you can use a wallet that supports both networks like Meta mask, because if you transfer your coin to the wrong network, Binance support can't help with this issue or even the Safepal wallet.  Your coin now possible is on ERC20 address because as you've said you can check it on Etherscan.io not on Bscscan.com.

Here's an article that might help you. How to Recover Crypto Transferred to the Wrong Network on Binance (https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/how-to-recover-crypto-transferred-to-the-wrong-network-on-binance), it was explained there the possible solutions how to recover your USDC.
