Google will not filter/selecting a phishing sites, if they got paid from the fraudsters they will shown it on the top search result. They only shutdown the sites whenever they got many report from people. And then they will repeat it again from the beginning.Use mozilla or Tor, https only, ad block will protect you from this kind cases. Unfortunately, many people trust Google and the first result of Google search.
The increase in adoption will force Google to follow a more stringent policy regarding cryptocurrency ads, and thus the fraud rate will be greatly reduced. Until that time, awareness-raising and continuous reporting is the only solution. |
