Title: Convenient way to monitor BTC?
Post by: _Artur_ on May 29, 2021, 02:48:12 PM
Hi everyone, I've created website to monitor BTC (and other Crypto) in real time (from all popular exchanges at the same time). I hope that you will find this useful, because there are several charts with info such as Trade price and Sell / Buy volume, Order Book activity and more.
Also you can set up layout of charts as you want, and select exchanges that important only for you!
Here is the link: https://www.cryptocorrelator.com (https://www.cryptocorrelator.com)
What do you think about it?

For crypto like Bitcoin with the standard with 3 confirmations for deposit, it is not realistic to move it around exchanges and enjoy price gaps.

Suggestion
  • Recommended exchanges for lowest and highest price in the interested period (can be 5min, 15min, 30min, etc.). You can make a table.
  • When I hover the mouse on one point in the chart, is it possible to give the bubble with exchanges for lowest, highest price ATM?

Thank you for these great ideas! I'll implement them in next revision!

That's a very impressive job OP.  I bookmarked it already for future reference, this is a very useful tool in trading and when you're a scalper.

The suggestion above was right and that was the first option that I looking for trying to figure out of which period the Bitcoin price looks like on the chart, the hours, days, and weeks.

This is also my suggestion, the sell and buy volume, the sell and buy activity, and the book order graph are too small, can you add an option on how to enlarge them?

Click on bottom edge of the chart and drag it down to change size, also you can swap and hide charts by mouse drag of chart's header.
To see price difference in time you need to move mouse with pressed down left button.

That's pretty amazing. I have a few suggestions as well.

Can you add more timelines like the 1 hour, 4 hour and 1 day volume indicators ?
Also, the USDT indicator doesn't seem to work unless we click somewhere on the website first. Is it intentional ?
I just tried selecting the ETH/USDT pair and then USDT indicator on the chart wasn't working when I moved it across the chart unless I clicked somewhere on the website.

Actually, I'm planning to add more timelines!
The Problem you mentioned, already solved... This is not intentional.
By the way, if you change update rate (1s, 500ms, 200ms, 100ms) you will access to different timelines, for example at 100ms timelines will be: (2min, 1min, 30sec);

It looks very nice, and it's simple to use, so good job! However, I'm not sure how monitoring this info can be useful, to be honest. Exchanges take time to process withdrawals and deposits, and the fees at some times can totally undermine the whole point of moving to a different exchange. The differences are usually minor, and if some spikes happen on some exchanges, they're out very fast, right? So not only there's no time to move BTC from one exchange to another during this time, but it would be barely possible to even profit when you're already on the exchange and are paying attention. That being said, I'm sure those who like technical analysis and do trading regularly will find this website handy.

This tool will be useful if you will keep some balance on exchanges where you want to trade.
Some spikes might take more than one minute.
Try to watch charts in 100ms refresh rate, you will find out that there is always delay between exchanges, at least couple seconds.

I use CMC and Coingecko to monitor the prices so I would welcome this new site that might be new and I do hope that OP will constantly update it's feature because right now, I still find it lacking for now but it's a good start, you have the clout OP.

Such an awesome live tool what is the advantage if you log in or created an account on this site?

I think inflow and outflow and a little news aggregator would make this site a better tool for analyzing the market.
I hope that you can add that.

The only thing that I don't like is why did you list the Poloniex there? Which is one of the scam exchange.

When you log in, you have access to higher chart refresh rates, but I do not think that everyone need this, so limited it.
News aggregator, you mean something like coinmarketcap has?
I have never heard about Poloniex that info...

Amazing tool, can you add some of --> https://cryptowat.ch/ features?

 - Most beginners may find it difficult to deal with the site and therefore large windows showing the price exactly as Khaled will be appropriate.
 - The possibility of dividing the screen in length and width and controlling prices from different platforms when dividing longitudinally and horizontally.
 - Change fonts and the way charts are displayed.

In general, this tool is worth a try.

This is actually nice, as a web developer myself, I can see how much work you've placed in here.

The features are actually great, you can tweak it from real-time (1ms) or add a delay to it, an all-around monitoring website intended for traders.

Although it is packed with good features, how are you going to maintain this? I know I'm not in the place to ask this but how are you going to provide profit from this website? or you developed this for free? Just concerned because I know how long it takes to develop something like this.

maybe if i can open your link i will know better and can compare which one is more effective

No, it's not the same as coinmarketcap what you can see on the news aggregator is the latest news about bitcoin or crypto.

Sample this website https://cryptopanic.com/
We use it to see all news related to crypto and you can also use it as a signal for upcoming trends good or bad news still has an impact on the market price.
