where you when bitcoin, ethereum, BNB and other altcoins reach ATH. at that time what did you do. buy more? sell all the coins in your portfolio? or just keep quiet because you think it's too late to follow the trend.

When you look at the market today, are you sorry you made that decision?

I personally regret selling before the coins I own reach their highest price. but glad that the decision wasn't entirely wrong. seeing the bad state of the market today, I am grateful for the choice I made. so what about you, what choice did you make?

Honestly, I wish I had sold some of my ETH when it reached the all time high. I could've quickly picked up a lot more at a discount.. Now that the market is down and that opportunity was missed, I'm just trying to add more here and there when I've got some spare money. I'm not too upset about it, though. I've always tried to look at crypto as more of a long-term hold and just because one opportunity was missed doesn't mean there won't be more down the line. I still think BTC and ETH will reach new highs eventually.

Thats normal mate, I think not just you but many crypto enthusiasts are also had experiences like that because we don't know the outcome in the first place so we use to balance and analyze things and during that time we think that it's already the "highs" so for me it's okay at least we have earned, unlike others, the people who bought during the "all-time high" they are dealing with a huge loses now.   

The end goal for the whole thing will be profit. When you stay in a trend for too long and wait for the price increase to reach ambitious levels, it can be a mistake. I, myself, have gone through many stages where profits have slipped out of hand. I mean profit taking. It may be good but not in any moment. For example, I locked $banana at x2 but then a few days later it was at x4. So just decide. Sometimes, you will lose control.

Sold some portion and still holding some portion as well, just following the usual advice of selling small portion when the market is bullish lol though the current market state looks really worse I don't really get worried about my asset since I have the intention of  holding it for another few years.


They have loses indeed but the final outcome really depends, if they hold for a long term maybe they gonna see profit in the future, remember the buyer of the last 2017 ATH was already in profit many times at the current price that we considered as bearish. If we think about it, maybe long term is really the way to go.

No, I didn't sell any during their all time high, I just continue to hold.


Not really, although it's hard to look at your portfolio going down, but most likely this is just another bump, I'm still seeing a bull run before the end of the year.


Good for you, but for those holders like me, you are not at a lost if you are not selling.  In any case, I can't say you made the bad or good decision, it's your choice that counts at the end of the day.

i MISSED the opportunity to sell in ATH due to fud ;D.

, if I recall correctly I was paper hand back in the days and sold my ETH aaround the price of $1500 because i believe what those fudders in the past said about ETH that it's going down hill and ETH 2.0 will make the miner seize ethereum turns out it's all wrong and now i started to accumulate more and more ETH.
lesson learned guys, don't just believe those fudders blindly, they are spreading fud for their own benefit not to save you from market dumping. they won't go this far spreading fud across platforms just to save people from next dip, they are doing that to get money buy buying low selling high.  ::)

I didn't sold most that I've got when those cryptos got an ATH. I also kept quiet while I've sold them because there's no need to voice it out and tell it to the world or anyone that I've sold those at the peak.

I also have sold some not at the peak and that's very usual move for me. There's no need for me to regret that I've sold before they got at the peak, I got the money and profit and that's enough.

The biggest mistake of many investors is greed. I made a very good profit, but I always wanted more. Because of this, I did not take profits and am currently at a huge loss. Now I have no choice but to wait and I think we will have ATH again in the last quarter of this year  :)

I am one of those guys that never sell and then regret it afterwards. During the last bullrun i mainly bought into new projects via presales and my portfolio had a nice total value a few weeks ago but of course i did not sell anything back then and now the worth of my portfolio is like 1/5th of what it was at the beginning of may   :'(. That being said the main reason i did not sell something back then was that i have to hold my coins for 1 year then i don't have to pay taxes on the profit and i still prefer to have less profit which is tax free than more where i have to pay taxes.

I was really happy at that time not knowing what will happen ahead of that time thus it gives me a good lesson that when you have a profit take it and never look back even if the price continues to goes up that one thing that matter is that you have a profit.

Right now it looks like I need to hold my coins again for a few more months lets hope that the market will recover quickly.

I guess that bitcoin could reach new ATH anytime and it's the same with altcoin as altcoin was following bitcoin. The bearish trend will always become the best time to buy more coins from the market. I will buy more when the dump is happening like this time and will try  to sell all of my coins in the next pump. I'm a lon term hodlers. it's not too late to follow the trend dude. You should be patience and you can keep your eyes in the chart.

I have been making lots of profit caused by I have sold my assets at the peak price.

I'm sure most of early investors buy at that time but we cannot blame them because of lack of knowledge about crypto market. I really regret in not selling at that time, now all the possible profit that might get are now gone due to not taking profit when it hit all time high. I regret it and get move on. It's very important now to get profit when we are satisfied with it.

No one knows about that, if you see someone posted some dates or any other time when that thing gonna happen, it's just pure speculation or more like delusions. because with the volatility of the market, you can't even tell how much the price would be in the upcoming days let alone the right time to reach its ATH. Nevertheless, if you already made the decision to sell your crypto assets. what comes after it, you don't need to pay any attention to that. Because the reason it happened because you sold your coins and that made the price spike. just think about it that way so that you will not gonna feel any regret or confusion.

at that time I missed it, so I didn't take the decision to sell it, I thought at that time the price of bitcoin and others was still not good enough for me so I let it go and now I'm panicking because of this very bad market price.

Almost everyone is this way, because many people tend to panic when the market goes bad or corrects, although this is normal, panic is something that doesn't need to be maintained, so stay calm and be patient in dealing with the current situation.

I have a set target price on when to sell my coins but I dont forget to take profit at times. So im not entirely regretting my decision to hold while the market is bullish because its my choice. I have coins sold before the bullish market occur not knowing it can grow more and thats what I regret, however its not bad either because I still earn though not as much.

Not really, I used to see the market with this kind of situation since it already happened before. Thus in times like this old investors knows how to deal and take advantage the bloody market.

Its hard to predict which level price to become ATH, so I always take profit apart of it whenever the price raise. I avoided FOMO and too greedy, and used stop loss and trailling stop when the price already too high from the bought price. Discipline of using stop loss will be very useful to reduce losses when the market crash.

I think I'm still here, and watching it happen without owning any assets is quite painful. by the way, I sold my portfolio before all the coins reached their ATH. even if you make a profit, it is quite painful to see the asset go up so high when you have sold it. currently, I already have some assets, and ready to wait for the new ATH again. I don't want to miss such an opportunity again.

I honestly will sell bitcoin, ethereum, binance and other altcoins in my portfolio for sure when they reach their all time high price because thats the way you could earn from your initial investments and just buy again when the bearish market comes.
