Title: Is Syscoin a shitcoin?
Post by: thegoatiest on May 30, 2021, 04:12:45 PM
I like the sound of this project. It seems good. Good team, Good product.
But I mean the  chart.... not so good. Highly rekt against BTC.

Fundamentals seem worthy.
But it double topped with it's USD ATH from 2017. --- Just like Litecoin ^^

What do you reckon about Syscoin? Think it'll make gains in satoshi from where it currently stands?
I can't decide if it's a Gem, irrelevant or a scam.
Please weigh in. I want to invest in this but seems half people think it's a scam/shit coin and other half believe.
Volume is shite. that much is certain.

I think the project is good enough and cant be considered as shitcoin.
But we cant predict how this project can survive in the future, i already saw good project like Pirl, who fall in term of price even the project cant be considered as shitproject.

The project not bad but yeah the volume is really small for the coin that already listed on Binance, i think they have problem to promote and marketing their product, or the community not active yet to counter the fud and shill the project. If you didnt want to put any risk then dont put your money to invest, just put your money on the project that you believe most.

I don't see syscoin as shitcoin, currently, syscoin is listed on many major exchanges including binance and coinex, and the trading volume in the last 24 hours is very good, I think there is something wrong with your observation.

this altcoin has risen a lot in price in relation to bitcoin since last year and with those low signals that we can apparently have I don't advise you to buy Syscoin now because the bitcoin price can drop a lot and you cbuy Syscoin can have a lot of losses because if do you happen to start the low cycle then all altcoins will have very large price drops and you will be risking losses of more than 30%

in my opinion Op just wants this project to have more exposure

Definitely, I will not categorized this project under shitcoin nor scam.
Because if they are, they should have been delisted from binance already.
One of the oldest projects that you can found out there with actual use case in the market.
But it depends on the user when he wants to buy, just know the possible repercussions on your portfolio.
But SYS is much much better to hold than those meme tokens. Just my 2 cents.

the project does not seem bad to me, but bitcoin can start a bearish race and with that it will drag all altcoins and if OP buys that altcoin now he will be running a great risk of having losses of a very big dimension because altcoins have increased a lot in price and so far they are not falling much, just bitcoin is falling a lot, but if the price of bitcoin is below $30,000 then the sale of panic will be starting for altcoins

I dont think they want to have exposure on syscoin, i think he was attacking by so many fund while want to join the project, so they throw the question here to make sure his investment decision.
If he want to have exposure to syscoin, he should shill it better  :-X

Volume is shit and that is relevant to you as a speculator/gemhunter/scalper/trader. So avoid.

But even as a user, do you see an active community of users? And I mean real users not token holders (who basically are speculators).

This is the reason I say most altcoins are worthless, apart from market value in speculation. Syscoin unfortunately is not different.

Systemcoin is one of the old coin in cryptocurrency and remember all the positive vibes surrounding the coin then. Coin like ethereum waves, litecoin were having similar marketcap with systemcoin back in the days. It's obvious development must have slowed down hence the result of it's price in the market.

When i saw Syscoin it all started in 2015 and now they still survive in the cryptospace. Totally they have a good movement in marketcap similar to old other coin which has a strong fundaments like ETH. And having listed on a big exchange like binance its good enough to say real coin. It seems that this coin needs to be upgraded to attract more holders and users.

This is just another forgotten coin. I remember syscoin being hyped in the past and this time people are using this coin as a pump and dump. I rarely seen any development news from syscoin. The latest news came last month and i can call this as a zombie coin. TBH people didn't need this one again. There are lots of platforms have been implementing better solutions rather than use the syscoin bridge.

No one can tell mate as long as it showing good performance in the market. Indeed all of crypto currency has a potential to become shitcoin without knowing, what i mean is it depends on the situation because sometimes there are some factors that really destroyed some reputation of the project in the market, like for example bitcoin, see what happened? Even this one it has a possibility once ppl decide to reject it. So if you want to make investment you really need more specific information before making decisions, wherein if you see it good then grab it but always remember to make an exit when something happens afterwards to avoid losses.. You need to be smart mate..

it's so unfair to see many shitcoin have more marketcap than coin with real project and real use case like syscoin ::)

There are lots of undervalued projects which is way more worth compared into those shitty projects that had been almost on the top or higher ranks.,
Yes it do sucks but we cant do much thing about it because demand or support would always matter no matter how shit it is but still these are common
instances that we can really see into this market.About syscoin then actually it isnt really a bad project after all which is way more better
compared into others that currently existing.

when a coin is listed on Binance, the odds are good. in 2 perspectives. the first because they were immediately recruited by Binance due to the high volume of the first sale. as for the second because Syscoin pays a fee to get into Binance. Well, because the volume value is still low, it means that there is a possibility that Syscoin was not recruited by Binance, but instead registered with a certain agreed payment.

Syscoin doesn't have a good use-case and that's why people have been leaving it to invest in the garbage coin. This coin was not also getting hyped like the garbage coin.
We know that the garbage coin has become a new way to make instant money from the market. I would not be surprised to see that some old coins started to die in the future. It can't adapt to the condition of the market.
Look at how namecoin was dying caused by it has become an outdated project.

What do you consider as shitcoin, shitcoins are really coin without good community support, poor trading volume on low exchange, no latest news and development on the projects and many repulsive negative news on them. You do not like a project from the name rather you perform a thorough research before investing on a project.

From the research I did, syscoin is not a shit coin, listed on high reputable exchange especially Binance and upbit with good trading volume of $1.9M, at least this value can be counted towards a better coin to buy, I wouldn't advise you to stop buying SYS, do what your gut tells you to do.
