I want to invest in Alts. Please suggest the Top 5 Alts for 1 Year hodl?

Visit coinmarketcap mate if you want to invest in alternative coins.. But i just highly recommend to pick those trusted projects such top 20 crypto currency to assure everything will be fine while hodling. , in fact through coinmarketcap you will see everything about the project stats.. So just make research first and make observation in the market to make sure it can really make profits in just year.  Good luck mate..

In coinmarketcap more than 10k coins and tokens listed, for the better choose crypto that ranked above 100. Lower cap coin can be promising higher profit than high cap one but also with greater risk, depend on the how strong the fundamental. My suggestion for high cap coin is BNB, XRP, SOL, AVAX. And for lower cap is WOO, INJ, MCDEX.

Its a bit hard to give advice without knowing  a bit more about your plans.

The alt coin market is usually more volatile than other asset classes, so just investing and forgetting about the coins is a bit risky. My favourite alt coin is still ETH.

i have coin that in my opinion will be next gem in market and could be ethereum ,bsc or polkadot competitor. this is Hathor project which is have main valuable product easinest in smart contract creating. its only a single click to create and no need any programming skill, and the amazing featur that is feeless swap that will build in hathor swap. if both feature launched , i am sure it will be great project ever.

Not my financial advice but I don't recommend you to buy any altcoin and hodl for 1 year from June 2021 to June 2022. The bull market and the altcoin season can end before June 2022.

You can use the list of Coinmarketcap and customize the filter with YTD%. Choose top altcoins that don't have big rises in YTD%.

It will be very easy to give investment advice if you dare to do it, you can put your investment in BTC, ETH, BNB, LTC and Cardano, these are investments that are always profitable every year even though they have all corrected a large amount, but they can also recover faster when BTC has increased in price.

For now, Ethereum is what I am holding long-term. Been holding and accumulating them since last year. Now that Ethereum 2.0 is coming soon, this will be bullish signal for this coin. Aside from Ethereum, other long-term coins that are worth consider holding are ADA, BNB, LINK, MATIC and XLM. Just my opinion.

Top rated coins on coinmarketcap are good for taking risks ( top 10 - 30 ) and also know that just because they have good ranks doesn't mean they will not disappoint so invest only what you can afford to lose

It's not a good time to start buying coins to hold for long term because bear market is coming one way or the other, the best thing an investor can ever do is getting those coins in top 10 for cheaper rate, you will feel comfortable while holding even if you plan to hold longer than a year, for example ETH was once down to 150$ per ETH, remember that crypto market can be manipulated

Hodl for 1 year will give a positive result only if the cryptocurrency market is in a bullish trend. What will happen to the market in a year, now it is very difficult to predict. I would recommend investing part of the funds in 1inch, Polkadot, Sol and ethereum, as they have a great potential for growth.

With the recent btc price drop, I started to speed up my altcoin research. I search for projects that I can trust as a team and as a project. That's why I'm curious about the comments under this topic. I hope good ideas come up.

You by yourself must decide in which cryptocurrency to invest, so study various top cryptocurrencies and then draw conclusions and of course now it is not clear what is going on with the cryptocurrency market, so if you will want to invest in any cryptocurrency now, then you may have to wait a couple of years to get a profit, since a bearish trend may have started, so consider all your actions and options first several times before investing in any cryptocurrency.

I don't think everyone will suggest what Altcoin you should hold this year, because I think you need to learn on your own, not that we don't want to. it's just that all have different options, and are more effective if you look at coinmarketcap. just hold the altcoin that are in the top 10. or even from that. so don't just choose based on several people. but you also have to know altcoin that you yourself know the ins and outs of the system.

all have different growth, and it's worth your study. who is the team, the dev and how do they launch the programs that are currently being targeted by investors.

I would like to introduce some cryptocurrencies that I know are CIFI and TAU.
CIFI is a blockchain game platform, NFT and NFT marketplace. This project has a market capitalization of about $500k. If investing $ 100 now, the estimated profit can be achieved from $ 500 or more in the future.
Lamden(TAU) is a high-speed, low-transaction-cost blockchain that allows smart contract deployment in the Python programming language. They built AMM, NFT and bridge to ETH, this year they will create decentralization of their blockchain by adding nodes. This project is basically fully functional and it has a market capitalization of about 20 million dollars. Still very low compared to Solana, Qtum, Avax, NEO...

Altcoins were too hard to determine if they will last long, I prefer buying more BTC at this time. If ever in terms of altcoins, I will just stick in some altcoins that are on the top rather than trying to invest in new altcoins, we experience fast dump and disappearance of many ICo projects before after the market dump in 2018 since they aren't able to survive during those dip.

If you are going to hold for a year then you should know that you shouldn't touch that asset after 1 year for maximum profit, right?

Then, you should consider to wait until the price is at least stable. Look at Ethereum in past 24 hours, the price is surging really fast and if dump event is happened then it's going to be a disaster for you.
For "good" pick coins then you should read other peoples advices above, but I would recommend to wait until you are really sure what to do.

There are lots of alts available in the market but top alts are safe investment than low cap coins. But the thing is you have to decide your risk reward ratio. But  I would say divercifing your portfolio is the smartest thing. And one more thing if you really go for holding its better to go for a bit longer like 4 years or maybe 5. Cause this hype and correction cycle take almost 3-4 years to complete and you should invest with a extended time period not all at once. This is not a investment advice suit a suggestion. Do your own research before any investment.

Do not risk it, many altcoins disappear after only one year and the ones that do not still crash to the point that any chance of making money with it is impossible, if you are thinking on becoming a long term holder then buy bitcoin.

I think I have an idea why you may not like this idea as you may be thinking the price of bitcoin is too high already and it is not going to give you as many profits as a new altcoin, and you are right on that, but you are forgetting that most altcoins have no future and it is better to take a lesser risk and invest in bitcoin now than to invest in those altcoins.

There are many good for long term Investment. You can invest in ETH, BNB, ADA, Matic and SOL. These five Coins are strong project. There is no any Risk of loss. I am sure there price will on peak after the year. Ethereum's V2 will come soon so ethereum will rock and other coins will also Increase Good. NFA

In my own prospective, i always pick projects with real usecase and my own goal is to reach a % of profits and then move on toward other ptojects.
In the mean while i would recommend Waves, Lisk, Phore, PooCoin ( a good shitcoin lol) and finally Sushi.
It's obvious that these aren't the perfect ones but these are the ones i am keeping an eye on. Good luck.

ETH and BNB

I do hold but there is no timeframe either to just hold for a month or years, depending on the situation and the reason is that I have to sell it if there is an opportunity.  The top 5 altcoins are good to invest and you will never do regrets them but when it comes to holding better not to set for how long you've been holding coz what if within one year of holding you don't see any improvement? It will just embarrass you...

You can easily know the top 5 best altcoins to invest in through coinmarketcap.com, just visit the site and you will thousands of altcoins to invest into, but to avoid wasting or losing your money to those scam or shitcoins there, it's better you stick to top altcoins example the likes of Ethereum, Chainlink, cardano, bnb and ripple are recommended to invest it, because they have a real potential to rise in the near future.

None of us here can suggest to you the best 5 alts for one year hold because anything can happen in crypto. Though, I may suggest you to invest in the top 5 altcoins based on their marketcap like dot, zrx, atom, bzrx, waves as all 5 of these have high profits potential with very less risks. Besides my suggestions, please DYOR and invest only what you can afford to lose and will not regret for their investments if it goes in loss.
