I love your thinking mate, I have done the same thing, the market is reversing now to bull, Elon is not the first person to affect the market prices, pandemic period 2020 destroyed the market but later regained herself. I have read an article that Tesla competitor (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5341412.0) is starting to launching new electric car that mine dogecoin, gradually, Elon hindrance on the market will die off.

Well I havent followed him in the first place and certainly not planning to. I really only follow a few
Bitcoiners on Twitter, Michael Saylor, PlanB, Raoul Pal to name a few but I disabled notifications of
tweets because I choose to visit Twitter when I want rather than being bombarded with tweets
that are not essential.

I'm holding and not reacting to fud or fomo, never have.

I was reading news about Elon Musk's tweet, he posted to raise bitcoin price to higher level but he failed to take bitcoin price to higher level but I don't think anyone cares anymore about Elon Musk's tweet..

This is healthier, not that I usually check his tweeter feeds for news in the first place even though I use to follow him but not anymore which doesn't take anything away from him though but I have long since stopped paying attention to what is going on out there only that we cannot avoid what happens in here  ;D
I invest when I am comfortable with the market and take profits when I feel ok also.

Tweets are really nowadays more on stupidity but still there are some that valuable.

That's good and that's what most people in this world should do, stop looking at social media all the time because it divides us and makes us stupid and another side effect of social media is that you feel like everyone is racing in life when that shouldn't be the case. Another added bonus from ignoring social media is that you are making influencers find a real job instead of shilling for stupid products.

Good for you, I haven't follow him though, he is such annoying guy right now and he is completely playing with our emotions so for those investors and traders, might be good not to read his tweets and just follow other bitcoin personalities.

They more people ignore him the better for cryptocurrencies hodlers especially newbies, this guy tweets has done more harm than good in last few weeks partly because of fear of losing out triggers a lot of panic selling invariably crashed the price of Bitcoin, Personally I used to monitor any of his latest tweet now and then just to have a feel of the likely fundamental impact on the price of Bitcoin however Iam unperturbed with any of tweet just like the OP we just have to move on and remain focus.

I never checked his tweets too, i just see them appearing in my timeline, but well never really pay attention to them though, i udually just check the replies and see how people react to them. and of course, we shouldn't get influenced by what he said, we should believe what we want to believe, and i believe bitcoin is great, and we should hold it for long if we don't want to regret, so his words don't affect me at all, as how it should! Stop making him a crypto influencer, he can be bad to the market.

This is very good, because basically we don't need to follow other people in doing things. we are free to express what we want here.
but it's good that we also have to see what these billionaires are doing so that we can take good steps to take because more or less these billionaires are also influential in the market so we also still have to follow these people to know what info is out there. regardless of whether you want to follow as a whole or not

I've been rarely checking Elon Musk's tweets actually and I'm really happy to do that.  ;D  Because whenever I come across one of his tweets related to this field, it makes me uncomfortable. I started having this feeling after he destroyed the market.

I followed Elon Musk 2 years ago but it was different purposes. but when trying to manipulate in the market i unfollow him may be it was good decision. and as a result still i am holding my coin, i don't check his posts on Twitter.
Everyone should stay away from his provocation.

Let's say we're not see Elon's tweet, but we can't resist people will still talk about it and media will still post news about it. If me i wouldn't contra with it. I mean, if the system keep happen like that, like when famous people or big country talk about bitcoin either good or bad, it will change market movement. We don't have any choice then take advantage from it with any strategy that we can.

I just checked his Twitter only like once - twice? I was more of curious on how his followers or worshippers think about Bitcoin. It's a pit of FUD though I recall seeing a lot of people still against him.
Either way I don't care about what the guy tweets anyway.

That really depends, if you can still think for yourself even if there is a negativity behind the current influence of Elon then it's in your best interest to keep watch since it can help you decide what to do next since his influence can be a trendsetter for the market.

In the past, there were more FUDs on the crypto market. When the market gets bigger and people stay in it long enough they will know how to get out of FUDs. Hold on tight, fellow holders.

I have never followed him and don't intend to. However, it is still impossible to avoid his tweets because the media is always reporting on them. The first thing I saw when I came online tonight was Elon was trending and I checked to see what it was for and sure enough he was tweeting about bitcoin again causing the price to dip and a bunch of clickbait articles were being shared.

Only 2x? My initial investment is around 40x and I'm still a HODLer, haven't sold a satoshi. You deserve more than that my friend. BTC is a long term investment. HODL and you will be highly rewarded.

And he is on the stage again.  ;D  This man still continues to frustrate people. After this tweet, Bitcoin price decreased around $3-4k. As long as he continues to manipulate the market, it will take more time for the market to recover.

I also do the same. I really don't care about crypto clowns. after his recent tweet I decided to block him. I feel the need to do it. Because every tweet he posts pisses me off >:( >:(.

I have also tried not looking at his tweets anymore but it's like there's no chance that I don't see them. Especially the ones related to this market. As long as he continues to do the same thing, he will continue to draw a huge attention of angry investors.

I didn't really stop looking at his tweets I find it always funny with what he comes up next. :D The last one he posted was the Doge meme in front of computers saying it is a foto of him as a child. Jeez! :D It is funny watching the tweets.

I'm not really into Twitter and I don't even have an account so EM's tweet doesn't bother me at all but the market does. So you should not really stress out yourself over Elon Musk's tweets and just keep on holding if you plan for a long-term type of investment in BTC. However, we should also keep in mind that EM is not only the reason for BTC's massive dip for this year.

but the thing that bothers me is that there are still many crypto news sites that report Elon's tweets affecting the latest market prices. they shouldn't be raising Elon's tweet because crypto holders don't need that reading.

For those of you who don't have a twitter account, it's easier to say you don't care about Elon Musk's tweets. But those who have followed
Elon Musk on twitter, surely there will be curiosity to check what Elon Musk's tweets contain. And not a few are finally influenced by Elon Musk

i love this positivity man and the feels like you are in the beach without elon but with elon , its like you are stuck in the middle of the traffic , with no aircon or anything and the weather is hot .

there will still be fuds coming from other sources ex. news  but its not annoying as elons making a fud of its own but we can also ignore them because holding is nice to do if you have a peace of mind .

Stop being a follower of Elon Musk because this Elon Musk is a market manipulator and indicator wherein every tweet that he is making is having an impact on the market doesn't matter if it is a big or small impact. We must do our own research and will not depend on another person just like a famous person who is manipulating the market because this is not good especially depending on another person our own money.

I think it depends if you’re affected by Elon Musk’s tweets and if you have a weak hand you shouldn’t bother yourself to check out Elon Musk because you already know that nothing good can be done for you. Believe in yourself and not on others tweet and most important is to hold tight your funds when crypto market suddenly dropped.

I also try to do the same but I can't.  ;D  Because his every word related to Bitcoin or the market in general affects the prices of cryptocurrencies directly. If I don't follow these tweets, I can be in a big loss also.

Elon Musk is probably the biggest thing in crypto right now. Once he starts taking a move, the market will suddenly change. And things like this cannot be controlled by us.

However, if we are confident we the coins we invested, no matter how high the FUDS, the coins will eventually rise up for recovery. So we should be more patient this time because what is happening in the market is just temporary. When all things are done, the market will return to its normal condition and Elon Musk will no longer affect the market anymore.

I follow him on twitter but not interested in his recent tweets. only promoting the spacex project and the rest just talking about meme coins. and some of the tweets are also a lot controversial for crypto investors as example he and tesla does not support the blockchain system in bitcoin  but supports in other alt coins it really annoys people. he should have chosen a better word than that.

People are getting used to his jokes more and more. The effect he has with his tweets seems to decrease, which I think is good. He shouldn't have that much influence especially if he does the way he used to do it recently. All the back and forth doesn't help anyone.

Lol! we are on the same boat, i don't follow him and i don't plan to, hell i hardly check my twitter account so there is zero chance for me to stumble across his ridiculous tweet except someone else i follow decide to retweet it, i seriously don't get why this guy becomes the center of attention, so what if he is the richest or among the richest man in the world, still don't make him a crypto genius, am here for long term so Elon go tweet all ya want, ain't going no where  8)

Take it a step further.  If you absolutely have to use Twitter (I don't bother with it at all), try only following people that you know in person.  That would make it less of a cesspit.  All this "celebrity" and "influencer" nonsense rots the brain.

To be honest I have been holding Bitcoin even it has been dumped by Elon. From the beginning, I haven't checked his tweets nor I have enough time to do it. Even we don't follow him, but the truth is still many people have been following him, and that people become panic when Elon spread the FUD. We can't prevent it, by the way, a few people just dump the price due to over panic. Otherwise, it's quite impossible to dump Bitcoin by a single person. Most probably Elon just focusing on Doge rather than Bitcoin. Because he needs more money with an easy way.

I also decided to unfollow him but then decided against it. I think we can read his tweets but still HOLD strong and not panic sell. It's better to know what he is writing on his wall than to be ignorant.

We have all the freedom on what we are going to do with regards to Elon Musk's tweets or opinions. At some point, we can actually use it as a weapon against him through analyzing what actions we can do to take advantage on what he is doing in the market. If you have no interest on beating him on his own game, you can just simply set aside everything he is saying as if it is just a normal wind passing by. If you find his tweets toxic to your mind, feel free to avoid it so that you can focus on your goal with no distractions along the way.

In fact, I also never opened an elon tweet.
Only never read a few tweets and it was in this forum and a telegram agram jug. Although by accidentally reading these tweets, in fact we are aware that more and more people spread the tweet to various social media, the more people will know and affected the tweets. It cannot be denied if indeed Elon has the power influencer.

Twitter, like many other platforms, can be entertaining and useful if you just curate what type of people you follow. You shouldn't be limiting yourself to just the people that you know personally, there are good educators and content creators out there. For Bitcoiners, it can be very useful to follow some Core developers or people who work on LN, you can learn a lot, as these guys don't visit this forum or reddit often.

Yes, that's why one to take advantage of twitter, follow the devs and not those who sell themselves, in short so called crypto influencers like Elon Musk. Or if you want to follow this crypto influencers, at least try to filter out what they are saying and obviously, don't blindly trust every tweet or announcement they made in public. It can be twisted in any form to fit someone's agenda.
