There is a nice success story in the stock market world, where a guy named Keith Gill bet with his money $50k on GameStop stock. About 2 years later the investment rose to $50 million!

So the question is. Is there any similar recent success stories like that in the crypto world? I know the Dogecoin millionaire, but that was from $180k to $2 million in a few months, which is not that impressive compared to the GameStop stock guy, because $50 million is another level. So? Any similar recent success stories?

Both gains are impressive even if someone shares his $1k,$10k or $100k gain.
It may be little for sure but for those who have shared it is already big. I choose not to say how much I have gained but for sure there are many crypto millionaires there, start with search for bitcoin millionaires then Eth and so on.

I'm very upset that my biggest gain story is nothing. Unfortunately, my portfolio is low compared with how active I am. Even my 50 USD turned out to be 0.01 USD. I miss using my time during bullrun even now. My portfolio is very low, but this I could earn a good profit. The biggest gain doesn't help you without freezing your portfolio.

There was also a story of $50 only from Gamestop. I didn't learn much of the story because it's from the stock market. More stories of it on reddit than here.

Bounty hunters in the forum who holds probably have more stories about their success They didn't even invest something to it but time to work for their tokens. I heard some of them got about $120K from a shitcoin. I sometimes wouldn't believe a team gave them that much money for doing twitter and facebook campaigns but yep that was the bullrun of 2017.

There could be a lot of early bagholders of bitcoin who chooses to hold their stash for many years.

The thing is, the early "big catches the worm" paradigm is so true in crypto and other financial markets.

The stories related to cryptocurrencies are endless. Using the history of the market I will list some currencies that have x more than 100 times as ADA, WAVES, LEND(AAVE), DOGE, GRT and many more.
In 2017 TRON x1000 times in about 2 months.
Most recently we saw SAFEMOON increase their prices thousands of times and make many investors into millions in two months.
Or you just need to hold Bitcoin from before 2021, you will have a pretty good profit. We have plenty of opportunities to get rich in the crypto market, but we recognize that finding the right crypto to hold is equally important.

There maybe many success stories but usually they don't come in public. Mostly when people have profit they do not show them (because of many reasons) but when they have loss, they show it and this produce negativity in the market.

I bought Cardano when it was still at 0.1$ and sold it at 1$. Then I also bought Polkadot for 5$ and sold for 30$. last I bought BNB when it was 35$ and sold it for 500$. in this bull run I got a pretty big profit because I bought coins before the rally started. but one thing i regret is i didnt buy much. although I was sure at the time, I couldn't spend all my money on it. the reason was because at that time I lost my job because of the corona pandemic and I needed money to survive.

Yes, that's how most people hide the good or something profitable and reveal the bad and spread it from disappointment or loss.
And I think most people will keep the profits secret, especially in large numbers because it's for security and to avoid crime which I think is very personal.
unless someone else finds out about it and publishes it.

I believe the winklevoss story has the biggest Bitcoin gains of all time considering that they didn't sold any of there holdings. They both 10 Million USD of Bitcoin during 2012 @ price of $10 per Bitcoin. It's now 38 Billion USD at the current price of Bitcoin which is very big even though they sold half or 75% of there holdings.  ;)

as if people in crypto is willing to broadcast their gains? you are talking about 2 years term in that stock investments , what about those cryptonians that invests just last year when bitcoin price drops huge ? or those who bought at least SHIBA INU? that climbs more than 800% growth?

Sorry mate but never compares the people in stocks with the people inside crypto because they are both different .

we in crypto loves to be not known in every investment we do, but in stocks are far from that.

I feel the both made good gains from $50k-$50M and from $180k-$2M both are good profit irrespective of the marginal difference both still made a huge profit. Since the made a profit far above what the invested initially then we count both as good gains

We have more millionaires in crypto than stock and it doesn't cost you 50k in crypto to be extremely rich, I have a friend you invested 1000$ in shiba inu and he cashed out 100,000$, a big risk indeed but paid off so well, anyways the truth is crypto creates more opportunities than stock in just months

There lots of stories in crypto. My friend has been putting around 10k USD to the shiba and this time it becomes almost 6 million USD. It's not only that but when it comes to the ico buyers of ethereum and then you will have found lots of billionaire from there. Brian amstrong can become an example how crypto has been making lots of billionaires since it already introduced in the public.

I don't have much success stories because I had some neutral profits of all my holdings and nothing much excitement but hopefully hoping before of the year I will have a massive gains hopefully that will surely change my life in my crypto journey for couple of year I've been here.

The true story about crypto investment is some will lose and some will gain, everyone can't be a winner and everyone can't be a loser, I made most of my money from bounties but nothing too great to write home about, if you are so stubborn and have no giving up spirit in you the best will come knocking one day

Yes, it is clear because when he made an investment, the market was in good condition, but when he made an investment, the market immediately experienced a big correction, so profit on both of them was just a dream.

most recently I got it from TKO. I bought it right before the pump happened to coincide with the BTC rally. the capital is quite large but I think it's worth the results I get. and yesterday in correction and I bought it again. I'm still waiting for that momentum to happen again even though it won't be as good as it once was. but I saw the potential yesterday.

Both achievements or gains are really great and impressive, earning almost $2 million is already impressive that is really huge amount of money and there are so many things you can do with that amount of money. So far I cannot flex myself for my biggest gains because I don't have yet enough experience in crypto world and I don't have yet good gains but still, I am striving for it and still learning many things in cryptocurrency.

I will not mention a quantity, but in terms of profitability and against all odds, my biggest gains came from mining, at least in relative terms of effort and benefit. I joined the mining pool of a coin when it was just launched, there were very few mining that night and I got a decent amount of the coin which basically paid for the two rigs complete. That was just a one pff so no way of repeating to generate earnings consistently nor anything, but still quite good.

Thats crazy amount of money to be honest. Im sure there are some users here that benefited on some crazy run from major caps projects like binance, dogecoin and almost all alts that 10x to 20x their marketcap in the span of few months. If bitcoin didnt do a solid run then these alts were not also going great. I did some decent gains over these alts but not comparable to those one time bigtime investment.

My biggest gains come from bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, dogecoin and I already sold those coins and take profit.
I am still waiting for the other moments from the other coins, which I am sure will increase soon.
If you are not yet getting your biggest gains, you will get it in the future, as long as you do not stop to search for the right coins.
It is just a matter of time before you can succeed from the crypto, and it is better you still analyze the coins because this time, the price seems at a low price.

I wont say how much I have gain after engaging myself in crypto but I can say that crypto investment is the biggest gains I had in the world of investing. The reason why evdn the market is in bearish status I never lose hope that the coins in my portfolio will gain back its value.

Nevertheless huge or not, every gains are something to be proud of thus there's no need to compare and envy other investors if they gain a lot.

My biggest profit was this year when I invested in defi projects in BSC, from an investment of $100 I could make $4000 in just a month, although now there are many scam BSC projects but I'm very grateful to find pdao in March yesterday.
This is the great thing about crypto being able to change a person's fate in just a matter of months.

That's nice, well there's really a lot of opportunities in crypto industry I tried before investing in DeFi projects in BSC at first it was profitable but if you managed to see how the whales manipulate the market and some projects right now there's a lot of scam DeFi projects which would really drain your investments. However I have earned my biggest gains in DeFi too when I deposit worth of 2 BNB and ended up having 25 BNB.

There's a lot of good stories already out in social media platform, especially when we reach the new peak for almost of the good coins. I've seen a lot of successful story like buying a house using their profit on BNB, and buying a car using the profit on DOGE and personally I have a friend who also buy house and lot using his profit on SHIBA INU. We all have a good successful story, lucky to those who believe on cryptocurrency during the red days because their harvest time has come already.

Now that you mentioned it, I recall this teen that just quit school and made millions in Bitcoin trading. It is a risky move that I would not advice to be done by other people as well.

My biggest gains were in 2018 and I want to be honest it was even with shitty projects that right after disappeared. I was just lucky to catch the wave and the pumps. You were able to become rich with literally every single shit token out there. Lots of people also lost money though. There was so much dumping going on out of a sudden.

Biggest gains will be followed by loses. If you are new in crypto, you will end like this. When you get big gains, you will be come less careful or totally careless, and losses wait for your carelessness to find you.

I don't tell on behalf of all newbies but my advice is: Exit the market after you have big gains. Take a vacation for a while, two weeks in minimum and come back. You will see something: the market can change with correction or change its trend. Most important, your minds will become fresh and your carefulness won't be lost because of big gains.

There are many success stories in crypto with gains that are similar to the gamestop stock guy you mentioned, both in terms of number or percentage. It's just that they may not be published, especially at the beginning of the Bsc token hype a while ago, where many people got hundreds to thousands of percent profit. Btw maybe I can tell you here for my own biggest gain if I save all the Btc I used to have in 2014-2015. lol ;D

But don't forget what Ethereum would have made you from ICO until now. 10,000x so if you invested 10,000 USD and you would have sold Ethereum at 2,500 USD you would have made 100 million USD. Doesn't sound too bad does it? :)

The tough part is to hold it all the through the volatile bull and bear markets. You would have held when Ethereum hit 1,500 USD and dropped back to 100 and so on. Nobody would have managed to do that I believe.

Sovryn was a surprise for everyone this year, including myself, too,

I think in the crypto world anything can happen, especially Dogecoin whose movement is getting better,

As far as I can remember, I've never even made $100k on any investment I made. however, the biggest addition I've made may not have made it to hold $15k. well, that's what I did when holding ethereum long term, and selling it before the price went up like it is today. Well, I sold it for under $1k. and it makes me $10k, or more.

The biggest gain of my investment happened during the previous bull market when bitcoin reached $20k. By the time I was able to see my profit on the screen, but wasn't able to make use of it. I just looked for bigger growth as the market is bullish, but the scenario didn't last for longer time period. In a very short time period my profiting scale went down from $150k to $50k. With hope I kept holding and when I cashed out it was just $3k.

My biggest gain in crypto was when the price around $200 and in a few weeks jump to $1300. not too big but for my own experience it was the beginning of my trust in crypto increase. i believe that bitcoin could be higher than this. and after that I am quite busy with my real work and missed a lot of good momentum in bitcoin. until bitcoin hits at 10k+ then im back again in crypto.

I think we should focus not on the sum of money that was made (because it depends on the initial investment which, in turn, depends on how much one could afford to invest based on the financial situation), but on the stakes (I mean 2x, 10x profit etc.). My biggest was 15x with Litecoin (from $15 per coin to $300 per coin), and there was about 8x with Ethereum as well. But the sums were very small, so the winnings weren't a huge deal to me. I've also had about 5x with Bitcoin, come to think of it, but I keep disregarding it when thinking about gains somehow.
One of my big fails was with Doge as I've planned investing in it about 4 years ago and organized a separate Dogecoin wallet for it. But somehow I just forgot to buy the coins and transfer them to this wallet, so that's a missed opportunity.

How I wish I know some in the local level, I mean in the local crypto scene in the Philippines. But here Filipinos are very secretive when it comes to their wealth. The only ones you can see flaunting their wealth would be the elite, businessmen, and the politicians. The middle class and those who have newly found wealth tend to be secretive because they are a bit fearful. Not of criminals but of poor relatives ready to take advantage and will come full force in asking for help, then ridiculing them in case they didn't help.

actually i got enough money from bounty or trading in few months ago. since december i found arbitrage opportunity from FreeTON and my profit from this coins used to buy $UTK , $HTR  and many other. i am glad this investment give me good return and i am waiting another opportunity repeat this moment.

I don't know any such stories with Doge, but one of my friends (incidentally the guy who introduced me to the world of cryptocurrency) got his BTC in 2012, when the price was around $10. His investment went up by almost 5,000 times in the next 9 years. In my case, I got my first coins in 2017 January for $900. The current exchange rates represent an appreciation of 40x. When compared to 5,000x, 40x doesn't sound like a lot, but for me, it was a life changer. It not only changed my life, but also the lives of my friends and relatives.

For some reason, I missed the time to invest two years before, the only one and half years before I started to join bounty. Now I'm making some investments. but I couldn't make as much profit as 2 or 50 million. Although Cartesi and DIA tokens helped me to increase my investment portfolio. I couldn't make the biggest gain in history, but I'm confident that I can do it.

Man, how can you even call that small gain? That obviously is pretty masive and amazing! I would be jumping non-stop for hours if I ever get to profit from my investments that much. Too bad though, I still cannot afford to go big yet. Am new in crypto currency have not really earn much in it, and i don't invest I work as a bounty hunter, so my highest reward so far is 500$ as a hunter.

Probably the biggest price gain was Ethereum because of the recent pump but I'm not sure if its a good profit since I don't have a high volume of ETH, I don't hold a big amount of ETH and hold for years, and its not my strategy since I want to sell for profit and I just can't take the risk of holding for years because I invested in other assets as well where it has even less risk.

I think some of my biggest gains are on XRP when it richest close to a dollar, I did make a good amount of gain when the price dropped because of the SEC and I invested a good amount thinking the XRP would be a good investment and it did pump and I probably earn a few thousand dollars because of that investment. I invested in ENJ when it was just a small cryptocurrency so when the market price Almost reaching 4 or close to 4 dollars I sold my investment and it was probably one of my biggest gains because of the high volume that I have in ENJ, I get interested in ENJ because of the Lost Relic game as well. I have a little bit of DOGE coin when it exploded and probably cost a few hundred dollars with some profit.

Also if you heard about Axie Infinity I just turn out to be so bullish in that gain and the profit was high so high considering my initial investment in that game that is 900$ in just a few months.

The biggest gain I ever had happened during the bull run last 2018 wherein the value reached 20k$. I never though that would be possible but still all the hardwork I've given paid off since I worked fot that for so long. I was able to earn almost $2000 that time in bitcoin and $1000 for ETH. It might not be that much but I really needed that kind of amount that time. The only mistake I did was panic selling as the bear market occurs that time. I never thought bitcoin would be able to come back strong again after that time.

OMG profit! I'm not as lucky as Keith Gill. But I missed the opportunity of the bear market. Especially the Kusama coin, almost 300 times pump, no one ever imagined. We could earn 3 times more than Keith Gill. I saw over 1000 times profit in two years. Nothing more than holding benefits. We can't be patient because we need early profit like I took the Cartesi dump opportunity.

I am just going to share with you a friends story about his experience with crypto. He started at 2017 and sold all his assets and stopped doing cryptocurrency at 2018. When he went back this year just to check on his old accounts he was surprised to see that his ETH wallet has 200 dollars worth of ETH. And then he check his old exchange account and also saw around 150 dollars worth of different coins. He asked me for help and I was able to transfer all of these dollars to his new Binance account now. He will start over and I wish him luck with his future endeavors in crypto.

well the profit that I got the highest from trading was only $100 from dogecoin with a small capital, of course it was very little but in my opinion that much profit was enough because I used only $20 of capital so it was an experience that I will never forget.

I believe theres some kind of that gamestop guy in this crypto space but he just didnt post it on reddit like the gamestop guy, bitcoin increase from the beginning is greater than gamestop.

I don't have a lot of stories in the crypto world and don't dare to try new things like buying coins that rely on fomo, but I got my biggest profit from holding btc for so long I bought btc at 5k$ and sold at 30k$ yesterday and from there people around me believe that btc gives luck to those who survive with a new ATH goal

Yes also agree with that point that many of the stories are not come out .However the example he has given on thread that is exceptional and its not happen on every trader .There are lots of minor stories i have ,but it is not exceptional to show up you .

your earnings with stocks are impressive but i believe that similar earnings with cryptocurrencies were possible between 2017 and early 2018 now the earnings are much smaller, certainly the millionaires who have made a fortune with crypto are there but i think they are very few, at the moment personally seen market conditions i would not invest $ 50k in altcoins

We do not know many success stories because some of them are not telling other people about their success. I think they do not want to tell because they do not want to show off to other people and avoid the bad guy who wants to do something with their money. We can also have a chance to have the biggest gains in crypto, as long as we can do the best thing. And related to Dogecoin, I am sure many of us get the biggest gain from Dogecoin.

as long as I played crypto the first time it wasn't much but after a long time it was finally okay so the results from that were buying a few more coins or reinvesting because if it was immediately melted down with money then we quickly got bored and gave up on increasing other coins

I will advice against this kind of thread, it is important to not reveal that kind of information to anyone because as we know that will make you a target of hackers and scammers, it is better to just avoid bringing attention to yourself if you were good enough or lucky enough to obtain good profits, even giving that information to our family can be dangerous because as we know very few people can keep secrets these days which means that someone may listen to that story and then try to get those coins out of you.

I honestly didn't sure what was the exact amount of my biggest earning. I am thinking if it is my counterpart from Translation or participating in bounty campaign. But I have a feeling that my biggest earning is from joining bounty campaign last 2017. Then it suddenly goes in different way when scam projects becomes everywhere. Last year I have experienced to earn $19 per week. It is far from my earning in 2017. But atleast I am earning.

Well, for hackers to make use of any information from this forum they will need much more than just a few posts or access to your profile. If you use a VPN, how would they even benefit from hacking your Bitcointalk account?

As long as you don't tell anyone your name and other sensitive information, hackers have a hard time to identify you as a target.

Sound like your story is familiar to mine, I try as much as possible to get into some holding before the bullring started but I guff and sold everything when Corona shakedown the market and now, when I check the price of bnb, I felt like crying.
However, I made some few dollars during this bullrun, thanks to bounty hunting here and there.  ;D

I know someone who are in the same success but they are so silent. Keeping there huge success in secret. Big profit in crypto is something gain in digital aspect. Sometimes they keep it secret because it is also possible that they might lose it in other investment or in decentralized games.

luck may be it is taken only once in life. for others it may be a dream that never comes if only expecting $50k to be $50 million. what happened to Doge a while ago was a huge advantage that would probably be very rare. Yeah, what happened to doge is really unexpected. I have around 20k doge in my wallet and i never did any transactions from that wallet. It just a llittle money a few years ago, so i keep it. But now, it become my treasure. The biggest gains in my whole life. I'm really lucky to hold my doge .

I believed one of the major aims and feature of cryptocurrency is to remain anonymous in every aspect of our activities I believed there are plenty crypto made millionaires who earned massive profits while hodling cryptos but decided to stay anonymous, however disclosing ones earning is a personal task and so also there are plenty losers too who wouldn't want to disclose their loses, however I believed cryptos is like a goldmine once an investor invests on a potential coin that enjoys a massive pump then a lot of profits will be earned however to discover such a coin among the thousands available requires DYOR.

I still lack any boastable gains. But recently I've entered Defi ecosystem with a couple of thousands dollars and if I really get what they promise, I'd be doubling my investments in two months. I don't know how it's feasible but many people seems to be doubling their investment this way for over a year now. And I'm already late into the hype.

If you think anonymity was the main feature of cryptocurrency, I guess your conclusion should be that Satoshi Nakamoto got it all wrong from the very start. I am quite sure Nakamoto knew exactly that we are dealing with pseudonymity and that there are certain you can do to use the public and transparent ledger in a relatively anonymous way. The degree of anonymity depends on the way the user uses the network, not on the network itself. Staying fully anonymous on the Bitcoin network requires a lot of expertise. That is not trivial.

This leads to the conclusion why anonymity coins like Zcash or Monero or some of the others out there will have a bright future. Or also some services that do at least increase your level of anonymity, although mixing services are probably the least effective way to really stay anonymous.

I think many people are already successful and become millionaires in the crypto world. especially if someone bought Bitcoin at a price of $6k a few years ago, then they are now a millionaire because the price of Bitcoin has hit a new record. I myself feel that I have been successful in the crypto world even though the income is not as big as what other people get.

Everyone's success in the crypto world is very different even though the work is almost the same, because the benchmark of success is always determined by how patient and conscientious he is at work, so that is always the difference in getting the results.

I think a lot of investors invested in meme coins before and made double profits recently. This is due to the massive bull run. Very few people dare to bet their money on a meme project. But the benefits can only be obtained if we dare to make decisions. In other words, those who are ready to take risks will surely succeed.

I believe there cannot be more number of success stories because of dogecoins but at the same time you can find many success stories based on bitcoin and ethereum/BNB. Because the rise of dogecoins is completely unexpected and may happen once in 10 years whereas bitcoin and BNB rises are highly predictable and I believe there would be many people might have used those opportunities to transform their lives.

Moreover, many people might want to stay anonymous rather than sharing and inspiring you. Because, being anonymous might be more advantageous in this crypto space than trying to share success stories and then attracting more people to adopt crypto.

I might be wrong but so far I have not seen anyone sharing such success stories with provable transaction details. Because in this crypto space, we can cross check anything with the help of blockchain and this may be the reason most people are simply staying anonymous including fake people.

My biggest gain is on ethlend and swissborg investment. The ICO is from 2017. Ethlend is biggest though...
My initial ethlend investment is only $100 and you can multiply it by now...

Non so far for now mate, it was just a flickering lucks who've been able to touched everybody's profit. The goos stories cannot be measured as what I've experienced from the past three years, but until not it has been suppressed by several factors that's making it hard to fulfill.
However, that doesn't mean I'm going to quit, but rather it's a good stand in order to establish a strong foundations.

Personally I haven't made a big profit and I hope it will happen soon where the price of the coins that I have has a high value. we don't know the prospect of the coin in the future, so when the price of the coin is cheap I choose to hold it longer to invest, I hope the price will rise someday. it would be better if you invest in coins that already have good prospects and are quite stable so there is no need to worry about the results but still be careful in managing them.

Our time will come, if we haven't made a profit during the last bull run, there's always another opportunity if we don't give up. i can only show my greatest loss. today I loose one ethereum to scam. i have decided not to invest or trow anything that has to do with ethereum version 2 staking. i just loose my ethereum which I staked on sharedstake platform. they rull pulled today with their social media accounts been suspended and people withdrawing their rewards been paid shit.

Crypto is a mystery, I'm sure many success stories like Keith Gill are even greater, they prefer silence than sharing to public, I also feel great benefits from crypto, in 2015 I invested around $520 to buy 2 btc at a price of $260 then hold until 2017 andd I made a profit of around $25k, for me is a big profit.

For the pioneers, this is really happening. Like in bitcoin, ethereum, and other altcoins have risen dramatically and the person has been holding it for a long time and didn't sell a lot until the rise has been seen. It is not only you that regret selling those at early stages because even me and for sure many have the same story as you. But if you happen to sell that because you've got a valid reason, you don't have to feel regret about it. We can still have the chance to correct that mistake and if we're sure that the price of those will rise then we only have to do a few things, to buy at dip and hold.

many game stop case happen to cryptocurrency investors , alot traders gain unrational profits only in short term. Just look at shiba inu , i see alot traders give their profits screenshoot although alot people loss too. If we come  in correct time , cryptocurrency will give us huge profits only in few days or weeks.

The words "biggest gains" can come in different ways, to some $1k can be considered a biggest gain, to some $100k can be considered a biggest gain, to some $1m can be considered a biggest gain and it continues; that is to say, to different people biggest gains comes in different angles, therefore I will say gain is gain.

patience and hold is they for cryptocurrency investment , same case also happen to my friend . she buy doge coin around 30k coins for few years ago and this year she sold it at $0,13. her investment growth alot more than 20x at that moment and now diversify profit into another coins and hold it again for several years later. I have some kind of experience like that in a past year 2017 there is a project that would not expect to rise the price much. I invest only  $500 on that project and I gained more than $2000 and that was one of the hell of experience happen to me, I hope there is some other project again that can give us a profit if we invested. The impressive market runs on stocks but the higher potential is true for the low marketcap altcoins rather than top ones. Some people prefer to invest or long term trading on crypto markets instead of gambling, they can make around the same profit on both ways. My biggest one was from airdrop and made around $9k in a day without trading. Seriously? your friend got that luck of buying earlier than you. That's why you don't buy when it's already hyped, you're just going to FOMO at that moment and you're unsure when you shall get your ROI. Yeah, you're out of luck by that time but your friend surely is happy with the gain that he made with Shiba.
