Definitely more Chainlink, it will be huge!
It's totally independant from all projects because Chainlink will have always projects to link.

Yes that does not come at a surprise. I also know many people who had so many wallets and all these tokens and coins from so many projects, very easy to lose overview completely.

But many of them became worthless over time and now that the gas fees were so high it wasn't even worth moving them anywhere.

Is that right ? instead of Ethereum, which has linked many projects in the past, although at this time it has started to quiet down, its development has always been going very well.

When the bull market was a hit at around January/February, I sold all my crypto, cashed out the money and use it to solve some real life problems, so right now, it looks for me as if am starting afresh which is what it is by the way, so currently, I own 5 altcoins and those are -
  • Ethereum
  • TRX
  • STC - student coin
  • BGL - Bitgesell
  • Dego finance
I definitely will be buying and adding to this list as money rolls in.

Just like me, because I will not waste my opportunity to make a sale when some of the Altcoins I own reach new ATH of all time especially bitcoin.
and I started from scratch not too long ago after the downturn occurred in the market, and for now I only have a few Altcoins like Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin.
and planning to add some Altcoins after having some extra cash after doing the analysis to make a purchase because nowadays it is difficult to choose the right one.

I rarely hold many coins. Maybe too complicated for me to control it. Because I prefer to trade, not holder. I only hold low priced coins, I hope someday it will be pumped. But if it's a coin like Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, I prefer to use it for trading.

Around 30 altcoins, mostly invested in top altcoins. ETH is 18% of total portfolio value, at least 10k is the target for ETH to sell in profit. The ERC20 tokens and NFTs are 30% of the portfolio btw.
Adding the new developing projects to the altcoin portfolio carries some risks. What if the project team decided to leave the industry or go for alternative options? It is a cat-mouse game between investors and team, so do your investment choices wisely and invest in reliable projects.

I have a couple of different ones!

Cryptocurrencies:

100xcoin (Recommended)
BCMC
ETH
EOS
ADA
BNB

Although soon I will get more like MATIC. But watch your wallets from scammers and scam projects.

This is quite many than usual and also stressful to hold because you will keep watching all the prices and graphs of each coin whenever you will check it. Although cointracker app notifications is already available but still its hassle to browse and check down the bottom.

Are you doing a regular TA on your coin or just buy and hold em?

-snip-
More than 25 coins and tokens.
Most of them are the top coins based on CMC, such as BTC, ETH, BNB, USDT (of course  :D), ADA, XRP, DOT, LTC, XLM, VET, OGN, ONT, LINK, TKO (this is not a top coin, but I hold it), and more about likely shitcoins  ;D

But, for the new tokens, I am just utilizing it for the short term or scalping so I don't think it will be in my wallet longer than a day or two days Just keep it for even the same rising up and then takin profits for some new tokens.

Good to own crypto-currency, as long/short investment, but do we own crypto-currency because we think it's better or safer to have more than one coins, I don't think so, actually am scared to own an alt-coin, for now I haven't gotten any yet, I only own bitcoin, so meaning I own only one coin, which may stay like that for sometime, seen some good coin that got me doing pro and cons on them, coins like BNB and dogecoin but still yet to decide, but they would be part of my other coin aside bitcoin if I were to have any.

I think its more than 20 I guess that I hold at the moment. But most of them are the coins listed at the pancakeswap, then some the assets
are being used for day trading in the exchange site platform like in Binance, Bitforex, Probit, Bithumb, Hotbit, Houbi, Kucoin and Gate.io and all these are very useful to me now.

When the time that market is experiencing bull run (May - April) I have 19 different alt coins which I bought when the market is dump. Now that the market is on dump, I don't have any holdings because I already convert it to usdt and busd. I already reached my target market price and now I am patiently waiting for the market to dump more so that I can buy assets again.

I currently only hold 4 coins. bitcoins. ethereum . bsc . cardano . even if my asset is down (in value fiat) . I don't hesitate to keep my assets. for a very long time. because these coins have a good long term. i dont like coin with volume trading . because I've had experience kept coins like that I personally don't feel comfortable keeping assets that aren't clear for a long time.

currently I hold 8 altcoins which I think are good but there are also because the collapse of the coin price made me stuck at high prices so I was forced to hold altcoins in very large amounts, I should trade on coins that have potential like bitcoin, bnb or ethereum it's just that I was influenced by other altcoins so that it got me stuck in high prices.

- Bitcoin
- Ethereum
- Chainlink
- BNB
- LTC

I only have 6 cryptocurrencies I think if you have enough funds you could totally diversify your portfolio and buy a lot of different cryptocurrencies and invest in them. I have a lot of cryptocurrency in staking that I think is going to have a big potential in the future, so I think staking is just the best investment that you do, or even lock staking your crypto could be good.

I'm holding Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, and mostly are NFTs cryptocurrency because I think there is some NFTs cryptocurrency that has a big potential in the future.

You don't necessarily need to have a lot of holdings depending on your trading strategy since if you only have a few you only need to wait for a few pumps of the token as well if you only hold DOGE you only need to wait for the DOGE coin to pump and since your all in you have a bigger potential profit.

Actually, I have a lot of coins, but I have sold some of them. Right now I only hold 10 coins, most of the coins that belong to the top 10 crypto.
Because coins that are included in the top 10 cryptos usually have more stable performance, meaning it is very safe for long-term investment.
And based on my experience if investing in shitcoins, indeed if we are lucky the profit generated is very large, but if it's too late to sell it will be
difficult, because waiting to recover can take a long time, So I strongly discourage holding shitcoins.

Bitcoin
BNB
XRP
BET
LTRB
LTMS
PR
GF

I have a lot of different coins but sad to say most of it are shitcoins. I got those from different airdrops way back 2017 to 2018. After receiving the coin, it only slept in my wallet up to now. I'm thinking about buying some ETH and BNB but as of now I do not extra money. I think those two coins are worth investing. Right now, my valuable coins are my MOK from my current signature campaign and my bitcoin hold from my previous campaign.

I own few coins but I don't count coins that I trade daily to make a profit, I got some Bitcoin, Eth, Mina, my suggestion is not to always check your coin, sometimes you need to forget about them for a moment, because if you will think of them every time, sometimes you get stress when you found out one of your coins are going down, which will not help you, and make some poor decision when you are trading some other coins.

Are those airdrop coins that you were got in 2017 and 2018 that are not circulating and worthless now? Most of my airdrop and bounty coins are like this, it just turned out to be a waste of time. If give me another change, i would sell it when it were valuable.

I also have the same perspective about holding too many coins in my wallet where I need to check every single one of them if any development or progress has been made. It's so distressful luckily I'm able to sell most of them and only hold a handful list which includes ETH and BTC. some are promising at least in my own opinion but still, I don't really expect high because things can be changed after some few days or months after those hypes that I read from their developers, that's why I'm always ready to sell them all in case something will happen in the future.

At the moment I am holding around 10 different coins and tokens. Diversification is always good, but I think there's no need to keep more than 10 different coins. The truth is that when a bull market or a bear market starts, the prices of all cryptocurrencies move, so having a large number of them does not improve anything.

Im holding coin by divide 2 categories, that is high cap and lowcap coin. High cap coin consist of XRP, SOL, BNB and low cap coin consist of BONDLY and PMON. Holding 5 differents coin is more than enough because will easy to handle and analysis the trend of crypto market, also we can predict when to extend to hold and when to sell it.

I agree, they didn’t know the significance of taking profit once it reach the all time high or it’s pump to much. If this situation happens, I’m sure the dump will follow after several days of pumping. I have 5 tokens in my wallet right now BNB, ETH, XRP, THETA & DOGGY and the rest is useless coins and other are way back in 2017 ICO projects that have no value right now. I don’t want to select too much tokens and just focus in 4-5 tokens but I put a huge quantity that I believe that it will be more huge someday like BNB.

I hold many coins, mostly I held the coin from a year or two years ago, and it still needs to wait for the next bull run (if that happens).
But I also hold some new coins such as LINK, Matic, DOT, and others and I see you have a good coins list that can increase in the future.
You make a good percentage for each coin you want to buy, and I hope you can buy at a low price so you can hold it until the price increase.
Once my coins list can increase, I will sell it and I think I want to reduce the coins list and only want to hold Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, and some more coins because managing many coins can confuse us.

In general, in my cryptocurrency wallets there are a lot of different cryptocurrencies, because I participate in a lot of bounty companies and in airdrops, and of course I also invest in various cryptocurrencies and therefore almost every day my cryptocurrency wallet is replenished with new cryptocurrencies and therefore I have a very huge amount of various cryptocurrencies, but most of these cryptocurrencies, of course, most likely will not bring me any profit.

Bounty hunters will always get a lot of altcoins but convert them to BTC in case you find it not profitable to hold. There is no way you can expect some of them to be really worthy of holding when it's not growing after months.

It's still best to just hold a few like BTC and ETH only because they are the ones who are very much volatile. I have some ADA and EOS but these are the ones I'm just staking.

lol if you talk about bounty hunters and airdrop participants then for sure they will have a very large number of trash tokens, maybe for me personally then I will focus on the money capital I have to buy coins that have real potential such as bitcoin and BNB.

I'm not a fan of altcoins, so my list is very small. Most of my crypto hodlings are in BTC because it's the safest way to get profits from the crypto market and because I happen to use it more often than any other cryptos. I also have some Litecoin I bought many years ago, just in case it skyrockets one day. I used to own Ethereum but sold it because it's a little more risky and less profitable than Bitcoin. My newest purchase for 1 Polkadot because it's currently down and I think that it can easily become #5 if not #3 by market capitalization, being a popular project with a strong team behind it.

I own 11 - I don't count the stablecoin USDC

I don't own two in the list below, but if I do buy them I will use the Percentage.

9.7%   Bitcoin Cash
40.1%   Bitcoin
37.8%   ETH
1.8%   ADA
7.0%   Atom
1.0%   EOS
1.0%   CRV
1.5%   Link
2.1%   MATIC
1.9%   SOL  - don't own yet
0.4%   VET  - don't own yet
0.3%   USDC
1.5%   DOT
1.1%   XLM

Out of all the coins mentioned above the only ones I own bitcoin cash, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ada, Eos, link, matic, sol and dot. Other coins that I also own are, uniswap, Ltc, ETC and Zil. May seem too many for others but I choose to diversify more. And for the percentage, I do not bother to count. I don't trade that much so I just do random pickings and accumulate more of the one I get to pick. This random pickings happen whenever I get extra budget and so far this worked out quite well for me.

As of now I am currently holding 9 coins and just like you I am also holding the highest amount percentage which is the bitcoin followed by Etheruem and BNB, then the other coins are just meme coins and the new token projects. I also holding VET coin before but I lose my hope on it so I sold it already and buy other coin that is I think have a better future than it.

I started a thread about VET.  Maybe you can contribute there your thoughts.

0.3%   USDC
1.5%   DOT
1.1%   XLM

I would recommend having more stablecoins in your portfolio and in general, remove some coins altogether.
Here's what I would do in your portfolio in my own way.

30.1%   Bitcoin
24.8%   ETH
20.0%   USDC
9.5%   DOT
6.0%   Atom
4.9%   SOL
3.8%   ADA
1.0%   EOS
1.0%   CRV
1.8%   Link
2.1%   MATIC
0.4%   VET
0.8%   XLM

Thank you for taking the time to do that.  I am thinking about dumping Bitcoin Cash and adding to USDC.  I can get 8.8% interest on Celsius on USDC.

Really? 200 is quite huge. It's a collection, actually. I hope the shitcoins are not more than valuable ones in number? Come to think of it, there's no crypto enthusiast with a wallet who doesn't have a bit or collection of some worthless tokens.

On my part, I really can't say I have a certain number I keep. I trade them from time to time and might buy different ones after selling off certain ones. However, no matter how I sell off some of my tokens I try not to touch Cartesi and Curio. Those tokens are undervalued ATM. Again, it's not even enough to say one has tokens if they're not in appreciable quantities. Get tokens and buy each of them in large quantity, it's the ultimate.

The hardest part of investing is knowing when to sell.

That's actually the reason why we're advised to set a target goal because that will serve as our basis on when to sell our holdings. Sometimes, we got no idea when to sell because we're clueless since we got no goals to reach. We might get carried away by the hype, feel afraid of missing out, or feel greedy when the prices strike high so having a target would help us make good decisions.

I don't have too many.
SFP, TKO, BNB, CAKE, and SHIB.
I'm more interested in binance and BSC coins for now. I got them when selling all the BTC when it pumped yesterday and corrected it just made a lot of people panic. I was lucky to get the right momentum to buy. even if I sold it right now, I would have already profited from what I currently have.

I still have many coins from iCO before that are still in my trezor . I limit myself in trading only few altcoins like BNB, Doge, WTH and which coin have hype that day or focus mostly in trading BTC. It’s still good to diversify but we must able to completely monitor all the coins we have which I regret not doing during the popularity of ICO.

Happy to see that OP isn't fan of shit/memecoins.  ;D TBH, OP should increase the hodling rate of Matic as trend of matic aka L2 solution is going on and it's just like BSC hype or even more than that. Also, more and more projects are doing great by adopting solana as well which is a great sign for another hype just like other blockchain. Many IDO platforms are launching on solana ecosystem and success rate is quite good. TBH, i'm still farming CAKE, BAKE and going to buy more Matic today as market might get another small dump.  ;)

I can answer this two different ways. I have 3 coins, which are btc/eth/bnb that are covering almost all of my investment, I do not think that others matter and other coins/tokens could go to zero and I wouldn't really care, it wouldn't really destroy my portfolio and I would be fine, if they go up that would be great of course.

However the second answer is a bit more tricky, I have 27 total, 24 coins that I invested anything between literally chump change like 100 satoshi or so, to ones that I have about 100 bucks, but that's about it, nothing more, in fact the highest I have is 88 dollars, and there are all those coins in between as well, I do not care about them because I know that they will not make me too much money, I invest into coins early and let them stay there for months and months instead of just sell them right away, which makes it harder to profit because most new ones only profit in the first month.

And have some coin that have no value as of now, no roadmap for it development as of now. Like that.

Having a big part for bitcoin and ethereum is a good choice. You can invest in any altcoin that you think and it's a long road for you if you'll add more to both of them but the priority is bitcoin.

USDC isn't counted but if you happen to own it, I think that you're converting some profits on it so that you can buy back whenever a coin you've sold drops.

OP has a diverse asset. All on your list is potential, and for the long term can certainly provide significant benefits. I think you must add soles, the development is quite good. Sharing the portfolio in some assets is a very appropriate choice. Maximize the potential of many projects, and when there is a market crash, the risk of loss can be reduced because you put eggs in a different basket.

I am not a holder, and only save a little BTC, ETH, and BNB as savings.

There's a lot of shitcoins in that wallet but its worth is just $21. If you do not want to keep buying anti-virus, just shift to linux operating system. It's worth doing than spending money to keep up over and over. You will be spending all your life on antivirus that will be outdated eventually.

There are still tokens left in my ETH wallet but I think it may really still be there forever until the price of these tokens will shoot to moon. It's hopeless though because the team isn't doing something to make its value grow.

I check my wallet and I found shitcoins, if that has a value this time, maybe I sell them all but unfortunately, it stuck there for more than a year and nothing happens, still $0. So I just let them stay hoping that someday it has value.

anyway, I keep BTC and ETH in a separate wallet for a long-term investment. I don't invest in altcoins aside from ETH coz I was terribly disappointed with what happens to me when I buy those shitcoins during ICO times. Maybe having these two coins could help me to recover those losses and get my money back.

I usually hold a few others, most of the time I get these free from various sources like winning DOGE contests.
One alt coin I live is FLUR. FLUR is a community-driven, fairly launched Defi Token. Three simple functions occur during each trade: Reflection, LP Acquisition, & Burn. 5% redistributed to holders and 5% to locked liquidity every transaction.

But now price is decreased so i decide to hold again or maybe in next event people should hold a coin again to join in their wallet holder airdrop.

I don't hold a lot of coins but I trade and have in past used many coins, I am sure more than 50 coins it not 100. Currently, I have like 8-10 coins and I buy/sell them daily so it's hard to name but there are some coins I have stored for their value in the future namely: DOT, ETH, BTC, TRX and ADA.

There is no fixed amount of coins either because when I face loss in my trading, I have to sell some of the coins and cover-up while at times when bull run is going on and I am on a roll, I buy even more coins and store them.

Another coin that is always there in my wallet is USDT but it is for the sole purpose of trading and never in my wild dreams I consider holding it because the value is going to remain the same.

I do also have plenty of cryptocurrency coins like more or less 15-20 I think in my portfolio other than Bitcoin for there are also lots of potential coins that can be find in this vast market that is worthy for investment and purchase. It is a good thing to do diversifying your capital into different cryptocurrency coins as long as you do know that those have a potential for growth and are worthy of your time to hold or keep. Although Bitcoin is a good crypto alone, still I do not want to miss the opportunity of exploring other crypto coins and to of course do know them.

1. BTC
2. ETH
3. ADA

Im accumulating much more out of this 3 coins via make some active trades using BTC and once i do make out some profit then thats the time
i do pass it out or store it out until bull run or significant price pump on where i could make out some sell. Not might be in short time but at least
you do know that  you are holding into something which is potential and special.

Currently I only hold coins/tokens that are in the top 50, and currently I hold about 7 coins, Tron is the largest, which is about 45% of the portfolio, all of which I store in my android wallet, nothing on exchanges.

You can focus on the assets you have. and also make sure you have made a plan for every asset you have. but I'm sure you've made a good plan for your assets. don't have too many assets if you just buy carelessly. because investing without good planning will actually make your money wasted.

I have 5 different coins. BNB, TRX, UNI, DOT, and CAKE. I will hold on even if the market now looks like it's about to fall. I thought it wouldn't be that bad and after a few weeks the bulls would start again.

I agree and I hope you are right.
No ADA, ALGO or VET?
Have you taken a look at FLUR (flurmoon) on the BSC? It could see some serious gains. Do your own research of course and only invest in what you can lose.

Looks like you really like buying shitcoins that became meta trading a few weeks ago. Many people buy shitcoin and expect to get a high price pump moment and get x10 profit in a short time. With a capital of only $10, one can earn $200 in 3 days.
And now, it looks like it's the rest of the shittoken that didn't get the pump moment and failed.

I own 11 - I don't count the stablecoin USDC

I don't own two in the list below, but if I do buy them I will use the Percentage.

9.7%   Bitcoin Cash
40.1%   Bitcoin
37.8%   ETH
1.8%   ADA
7.0%   Atom
1.0%   EOS
1.0%   CRV
1.5%   Link
2.1%   MATIC
1.9%   SOL  - don't own yet
0.4%   VET  - don't own yet
0.3%   USDC
1.5%   DOT
1.1%   XLM

My opinion is that you have a pretty good portfolio and distribution of these coins. I personally would slightly reduce the variety and number of coins and would bet on larger investments, for example in Cardano/ADA (+3,2% more) and Polygon/MATIC (+1.4% more).

But overall congratulations on the portfolio.

To sit down to count the number of coins I am holding is really a big problem for me, because I also hold a lot of different cryptos. Most spend BTC and ETH, and I've always tended to hold the top coins more.

I'm holding some of those coins you are holding but definitely not bitcoin cash, I will never buy that coin  :-\, aside it I'm holding bitcoin, Ethereum, matic, dot and ADA, then a few coins I have in my wallet that are valuable are near, Poolz, amepay and atom, the rest and just junk tokens from crazy airdrops a month ago when solana airdrops were booming as hell, I'm still holding unto them cause they might be worth something when bitcoin goes back up maybe.

I also have an interest in $FLUR (FlurMoon) Defi Token created by twitters' @Flurbnb. Small supply and should be high returns if you get in soon. Low market cap. Could 100x if you get in soon. Similar tokenmics as Safemoon and might be a long shot like Safemoon but if you have some free capital it might be worth the investment.

This is exactly the same thing with me, I am holding lots of coins but promising and non promising ones, I just believe the ones to make me rich is unpredictable so I decided to throw every shots, the last coin I bought for 2-3 years holding is SHIBA INU, I don't care what people say about shib, the fact that it's listed on Binance convinced me it's going to be successful., If op include SHIB in his portfolio, that would be great.

I have lots of coin/token that I hold in my wallet, sadly most of them are in my erc20 wallet, the sucks thing is, some of my coin only valued 50-120usd, now if i transfer it in some of exchange ETH network ask me for highest fee, for example i will transfer one of my token to exchange worth 50usd, eth network ask for 40usd above fee, now i get only few dollar on that token, that's why I hate ETH/erc20 base token. Oh by the way i have hundreds of erc20 token in my eth wallet. But if I transfrer each, it will need high amount of ethereum that will never give me a profit only eth network get my profit.

You can hold BNB but not Dogecoin.
You are lucky to have that amount at this time but don't think that Dogecoin will even grow more in the future. I may suggest to you is to sell it and invest more in BNB or BTC.

Just like you, I have also several coins found in my wallet but never to wonder that it has no value and not yet listed in an exchange. I just let stay it there coz not know if someday, maybe in the next Bullrun it will surprise us.

before I have 15+ holdings of different coin but with the current dip of the market I already sold most of them and leaves with 3 coins which are BTC, ETH and USDT wherein 70% is in USDT I'm still looking for a great time when I'm going to buy and enter the market that's why I let most of my balance in USDT.

I think I should load in any day now, we are not sure when this dip will be over.

so why you list 14 when you only own 11 . why?  for free advertisement ? but you should list them in proper order just to avoid confusion if someome is interested on following it .
btc must came first because its has a higher percent followed with eth and so on but would it be better if you lessen the percent in bch because bch was not being talked about lately but the rest of the coins in the list are still active .

The list focuses too much on TOP altcoins and it looks too safe because those altcoins will move together. Think of the lower-ranked altcoins as they have a lot more potential for growth. Spend about 10% of your assets in USDT as the market may crash in the short term. That's your chance to buy the dip.

I have around 10 Token on my ETH wallet which are individually worth more than 50$ i did not count all those tokens that i got out of nowhere or from an airdrop that are worth nothing now. In addition to that i own a few Kucoin Shares which i have on Kucoin directly. A few Waves and 2.5 GIota, 28 ICP from the airdrop two years ago and that was pretty much it. Maybe i have forgotten some minor positions. I have to say i don't own BTC at all except for the few fractures that i get for doing the signature bounty here in this forum. I joined the crypto sphere pretty late and every time i purchase i coin i have to do it with FIAT and i just don't like the thought of investing 1000$ into BTC to own 0.02 BTC or so. I invested mainly in pre-sales in the last months which was pretty good so far but of course my portfolio value took a huge hit in the last months and went down to like 1/6th of its peak value.  :-X

I own more than 20+, most of that coins i got from bounties. But i personally only buy 5 coins and im gonna hold this coins for long term investment which is eth, btc, dot, ada and arpa.

Those are all good choices but you don't any chances with some other coins? Something like FLUR. FLUR is a community-driven, fairly launched Defi Token. Three simple functions occur during each trade: Reflection, LP Acquisition, & Burn. 5% redistributed to holders and 5% to locked liquidity every transaction.

it looks like multifold leverage has the potential to occur in low-priced assets with high popularity.
we can see how BNB designs their development well every year and it's not in a short time.
There is also Dogecoin which may surprise many people. and right now I'm actually looking at new coins and tokens that have the potential 4-5 years in the future.

Apart from BTC (which makes up for more than 90% of my cryptocurrency portfolio) the only coins that I have in significant amounts (>$1,000) are ETH and BCH. I own around a dozen different cryptocurrencies, but apart from these three coins, the rest are very insignificant if the total value is taken. And back in 2018, I had around three dozen different cryptocurrencies. But then I decided to sell most of them, as the altcoins were faring poorly when compared to BTC. Back then I sold coins such as BSD, DNR and GBYTE. It was a good decision. Now these coins are close to worthless.

Judging from the trend, I think the trend is still up, but the correction this time attacked us a lot mentally, so we need to be calm in taking action. The most I have right now would still be Bitcoin and USDT. I had ETH before, I have accumulated all of these through trades and bounties. But right now I think all I have would be tons of shitcoins from the ETH wallet that has nothing. Literally shitcoins like tons of them or billions. I also have some POS coins like Picoin and Tokyo coin right now. Also some old POS shitcoins as well. Maybe hopefully I would be able to add some nice shit meme coins in my collection.

I don't think DOGE or SHIB are good options for long-term holding as they are very large caps at the moment. Those are meme coins, the meme trend can end at any time.
SOL is already TOP altcoin with over $9 billion market cap so profit potential won't be good.
We can hold low-cap altcoins but should only spend a small part of the assets because of their high level of risk.

As far as I can see, most people invest in bitcoin, ethereum and major coins. I guess you don't want to make risky investments because the market is in a downtrend. But it's not easy to make a lot of money with just major coins.
it is necessary to invest in some long-term and risky coins. Although the amount is not very large, they can save you money in the coming years. That's why I have too many coins to count, most of them shitcoins or dead :)

there may be more than 5 and guess what I don't hold any bitcoins, it does sound weird because almost everyone suggests investing in bitcoins, but I don't like it and it's better to buy certain altcoins when good news is coming, rather than having to hold coins for months , but everyone has their own strategy.

It's not weird at all. Yes you are right every user or person have their own strategy it depends on the perspective of the trader whether he would like to hold Bitcoin and invest to altcoins or not. That's good strategy you are waiting first for the market to be bullish before buying rather than holding coin for a long time.

You don't see BNB as a possible massive risk? So much money is in BSC and if all those shit coins do rug pulls the whole blockchain could be done.
None the less, invest what you are prepared to lose. I have a small "high risk, high reward" stake in a BSC token FLURMOON. $FLUR is a community-driven, fairly launched Defi Token. I do not have much in my portfolio at the moment due to the crisis the market is experiencing but ever since bitcoin went on a bull run, I started focusing my investment on it. Even though it might look risky as I keep on focusing on it amidst the its downfall, I know and I believe that it will do the same thing it did back then. There's no way bitcoin is not going back stronger than before because over the past years, it always did so I wouldn't mind waiting cause it is much better than regretting the wrong decision I could've made as I manage to reach bitcoin's another bull run in the future.

11 coins in my opinion is a lot for a holder, because it will be easy to get frustrated if the price of everything goes down,
I know you must be frustrated when all the coins you hold fell more than -50% last month,
may I know what you do now? still holding or cut lose? if you cut lose it looks like you are lucky

Not really if you have time to monitor all of that , price could go down and pump defending on the market situation, but if you are following it and you believe the team working for the development of the project, any price dump that is brought by market sentiment only should not make you panic at all.

I'm seeing ADA and Matic news lately and I think you're holding those good coins. But I don't have the both of it but only Ethereum because I'm more invested in on it and thinks that it will have another pump anytime in the future.
And whenever it pumps, it will surpass the last ATH that it has made. I don't need to have that much altcoins as long as I'm holding a solid one.

Definitely more Chainlink, it will be huge!
It's totally independant from all projects because Chainlink will have always projects to link.
Is that right ? instead of Ethereum, which has linked many projects in the past, although at this time it has started to quiet down, its development has always been going very well.
Yes, still linked projects needs to be maintained and also improved. ChainLink has also opportunities for improved variants.

I will say this is a decent list of coins, as I can see some good coins there whose team are at least trying their best to prove themselves worthy of Investors money and time. However, from your list, SOL caught my attention the reason is that, SOL blockchain is getting a lot of attention now which of course can be seen in the token price so far. In fact some decent projects are leveraging SOL blockchain now to develop their platform, products and services, and I think some of the contributing features are the low transactions fee as well as the speed of the blockchain network.
Hence if one can ponder a little on how BSC network caught a lot of attention and grew, then it might be proper to say that SOL is on the right path as well. Nevertheless, this is just my observations and I am considering getting some for long term.

In my case I hand a very few hold altcoins but it is mostly XRP. Other than XRP, I also have Dogecoin, Apeswap token, Binance coin, Etna Network token and some airdrop tokens.
And all the Altcoins that you mentioned are generally still good at this point so there is nothing to worry about even though two of them are new Altcoins, but they are still good too.

I remember that was a mistake I once also made :) All the alt coins were so tempting because of their unreasonable gains, so I decided to sell my Bitcoin and get into alts. Out of a sudden of course all alts dumped and Bitcoin shot up. Would have I just kept my Bitcoin back then I would be way better off than I ever was with switching into alts.

We will see another bull run for once times more in this bull cycle, and i still hold good and strong fundamental altcoin, like Theta, Link, OMG, KNC. 4 differents coin is enough for me so will more easy to manage when the market crash too fast. I think to make profit from altcoin is not only according to fundamental of each coins but the more important thing is trend of market.

In my portfolio, on average, 10 to 20 tokens are stored. The portfolio changes slightly over time, new, more promising projects appear, "old" or those with dubious prospects are replaced, or new cryptocurrencies are added. Movement within the portfolio occurs due to, for example, fixing income on some project, and its subsequent "transfusion" of one part, for example, into a stable, the second part into Bitcoin, a third part into stable / Bitcoin and the subsequent purchase of interesting new tokens. I think it is not rational to keep a larger "zoo" of tokens

I definitely will be buying and adding to this list as money rolls in.

in the end it has to be, when a coin has reached athbaru why should it always be withheld, but I don't know what it's like for most people, but for me personally as a soul trader when I see a coin that finally reaches newath I will immediately sell the coin. and I totally agree with you because in the end there is bullish and there is bearish and for now it seems like a good time to start a new beginning because the market is beautiful to buy coins

To diversify your wallet, this is a good thing because you do not know which of these tokens will give you a profitable profit, to own and invest one token, this is a big mistake because you do not know whether it will have a bright future or not. I own many tokens about twenty, I will mention some of them, they are BTC, ETH, LTC, BNB, LINK and BCH.

That was enough and there is no sense hoarding a lot of coins that we are not sure if it still has a value in the next few years. Much better to solely invest in Bitcoin or Ethereum as these coins are already proven unlike having those altcoins that most likely they will be coming shit in the near future. Can't totally judge them but the chances are so small, unlike of investing the top coins in the market where they are known as a potential gainer.

As a bounty hunter and also a trader, i own only few coins and tokens. Some of my coins only for a short time investments like BNB, XRP and luckily i have ETH in my mew wallet. I have ETH from $400 price and now gives me much profit. I have sold some since i gain profit and the rest would be for a long term investment.

well I think you are doing a good job to diverse your assets by divide it into 11 coins.
For me, I hold only 3 types of coins, BTC, ETH, and ADA. I am thinking to invest some on alts because the price is low, but really not sure which one is best to invest right now.

I'm sure he is a pro in investing. he can decide to invest and focus on the 11 assets he owns.
I myself, like you, focus more on only 3-5 assets for short and medium-term investments. and 1-2 assets for a day trade.

I think there are good reasons to indeed hold a good number of coins. I am not talking like 30 or 40, but maybe 5 to 10. There are coins with very different functions like anonymity coins, which are as of now fundamentally different from both Bitcoin and Ethereum. Or exchange based tokens are also interesting. There are a couple that provide good reason to undertake an investment.

For Bitcoin it's definitely a very good choice, but for stablecoins, why don't you just choose USDT, but instead choose USDC? and if I may suggest you try to import all the smart contract tokens or coins that you already have into Uniswap and Pancakeswap, maybe you can exchange them there, although not all of them can be exchanged there.

for now, i have 3 coins that i really care about. namely, BNB, and ETH, for popular coins, and Amepay for other coins. I have some tokens of the coin. however, I feel that the potential of the coin could be very high. after doing some research, I also see that Amepay is also a good coin to hold.

The only coins and tokens in my wallet right now are shitcoins, the biggest regrets a investor can have right now is hesitate from taking profits, many believe that BTC will still go over 60k? Well I doubt that and I'm already satisfied with my gains

For now only a few coins that I still hold to continue to invest in the future, although from some coins that I have now benefited but still I maintain until I can reach the new ATH because this will definitely happen in this year, of all the coins that I have today we can already rely on because of the old coins but have high potential such as BNB, ETH,ADA,MATIC and bitcoin,In investing of course we definitely have different options then this is what we have to rely on.

Since i become admin of airdrop group in Telegram, i have more than 10 coins and 100 tokens from wallet and in exchange. But if you mean coins/token that has a price, i only have ETH, BNB, SFP, TRX, OOE, IDEA, SOL, Fantom and some stablecoin USDC and BUSD.
You are really lucky and it seems that you have earned a lot of money when you served as an admin on the telegram Airdrop, and if I may know when you became an admin on the telegram Airdrop, how many Airdrops were scams and legitimate ones?

I'm not too good holding Coins with a long term, but if this discussion is more to coins what I have I will answer USDT, BUSD, SFP, POT and ZILL. I'm not a long-term investor and I'm not a pro trader, I'm more into a airdrop hunters and bounty so when I get rewards then if I think it's enough, I'll sell to stable coins or cash it out. For now mostly my porto is stable coins.

I think I lost track on how many I had all in all, as most of them I was able to sell and most I simply forgot. The minute you got some coins that you were not able to sell or not able to convert to another good coin then it is simply a coin with no value. Right now I only have the big ones like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance coin, and some Litecoins also. I usually do USDT as well but anyway that is all I have right now. If you have more than that then good for you.

Though we know that if data secure then no problem. After all I have Doge coin, Win, TRX, BTT and new one is ETNA. Currently These are my favorite altcoins.

Personally, I am holding some top-rated coins right now. Ethereum, Cardano, Tron, Bnb, XRP, Vechain, and some new coins. I strongly believe in those projects and they have a strong team. There are a lot of coins available but most of them will die sooner or later. So before buying any coins we need to do research about the project. For a long time, investment in Bitcoin and Ethereum are the best to mine. For short-term investment altcoins are good, but it's very risky. We know the high risk, high reward. In this team altcoin investments are good.
