Title: EURO 2020: Do you ready with your bet?
Post by: xvacator on June 07, 2021, 02:03:44 PM
We know that EURO will start soon and a few days later, the qualifying will begin. I list 24 teams that will compete in EURO 2020:

Group A: Turkey, Italy, Wales, Switzerland
Group B: Denmark, Finland, Belgium, Russia
Group C: Netherlands, Ukraine, Austria, North Macedonia
Group D: England, Croatia, Scotland, Czech Republic
Group E: Spain, Sweden, Poland, Slovakia
Group F: Hungary, Portugal, France, Germany

The list is from: https://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro-2020/news/0256-0db422ecc788-fc419fd78f92-1000--euro-2020-meet-the-teams/.

Do you already have a prediction of which team will win?
Do you allocate funds to bet in EURO 2020? If yes, how much?

This EURO has a new experience: not having many people watch directly at the stadium because we are in a pandemic. So I think all team members will have the same thing because they do not have support from the audience.

It will depend on their skills and how good their performance. If they have a good structure for the player, they can win and vice versa. I am sure each team will give their best performance to win. It will be interesting to follow the EURO 2020. I remind you to be careful to place your bet.

There are many answers to the question of who can win. Football is open to all scores. A team not seen as a favourite may lift the trophy. For example, Greece won Euro 2004. Every team that has come to this tournament is strong. A few teams are better, of course. I think Germany, which I see as a tournament team, has a chance. It is equally successful in France. I think France can win the cup.

EURO 2020 is a highly anticipated competition after a long delay due to covid-19 which has hit the whole world so that the delay is cured because it will start on 12 June.

I have very strong predictions in this competition for me, only France and Germany are the strongest in my view, but we can't see the correct structure and who deserves it, it's clear the game will start. every country.

There are no funds prepared in soccer betting, I will be very happy if I want to bet by myself, of course I will bet and whoever is chosen has not been determined.

From the list of teams I will only choose three as the most possible winners of the EURO 2020.I think Germany,France and Italy are the main rivals compared to the other teams with the highest possibilities to win this competition.I will bet on Italy only because of their odd of 16 which is very appealing to me.Germany and France have lower odds compared to Italy and I think the maximum bet I will make is 50 USD in Ethereum Classic or RavenCoin on Italy.

Do you already have a prediction of which team will win?

Football is a game of surprises. So it's really difficult to guess who would win this tournament. It is very much possible that an underdog like Belgium or Spain swipe the games. But if I have to go ahead with expert's prediction, I would go ahead with France. The team looks neat and players are experienced. Kante, Mbappe, Pogba and Benzema - what else you want?

England also has a good chance as football is a teamgame beyond the star players. But if I want to bet using my hard earned money, I would go ahead with France.

Thanks for the reply.

Here is my prediction for each group:
Group A: Italy and Switzerland
Group B: Belgium and Russia
Group C: Netherlands and Ukraine
Group D: England and Croatia
Group E: Spain and Slovakia
Group F: France and Germany

So, after that match, I think it will end with Italy, Belgium, Netherland, England, Spain, but for Group F, it is hard to determine which team can win. But I have a feeling France will be the winner. So Group F can be represented by France.

I am not yet searching for the news for each group and only came up with what's in my head ;D

Yes, everything can happen to football and we can get surprised by their performance from the team so that I can be wrong with my prediction. So prepare for that.

Who would have thought that even though he looks neat and experienced in the big leagues, it hasn't determined France will win, I see this ambition will be different from the previous world cup, there must be a new surprise where the winner is unexpected.
Germany, Spain and Croatia became even stronger teams, so what I predicted was unexpected, but of course if you look at the severe predictions of the French experts, it was because talented players were there.
I just set aside some money to bet on EURO 2020.

It's interesting that I don't really understand the players who will appear at this EURO.
But if I guess I will go for English, second Spanish and third German. But I think all countries in Europe are starting to be evenly matched about the power of football. Many good players are playing in EPL league, LaLiga, Bundesliga. Although this is just a guess, I won't be betting with money this time. I'm just going to watch this EURO match.

Good idea. That is what you should do if you don't want to gamble.

Every team is going strong this time, and yes, it will be difficult to predict what team will win. I am sure later we will see many news and prediction from a pro. It will be a hard competition for each team.

If you see this article https://theanalyst.com/eu/2021/06/breaking-down-our-euro2020-predictive-model/, you will see France will have a bigger percentage to win.

Football comes with lots of surprises so most times I keep my prediction until when the season is full on then I can predict based on the line up of players, their ability to play as a team, their understanding of each others next move and lastly how the perform on every match. I personally watch sports to get maximum entertainment  without attaching much emotions to it so I don't get disappointed since I'm a very emotional person.

Portugal, France and Germany are in one group and it is going to be the difficult group while the rest of the teams have an easy pass to the next round. If i am looking at the present form i should pick France but they are in a tough group and i am yet to look at the team strength of Portugal and Germany as well. In the finals i am expecting France and Italy but i would like to see Portugal because of CR7 as well but it is a daunting task.

Wow.. I was surprised by this technology. He uses AI, how does this work? Do they record all player stats and compare those. How did France become the favourite? If this is based on player statistics it may not be entirely true. But for beginners and soccer gamblers maybe this will help to do the analysis.

The hardest group is "Group F". I think one of the teams from this group will win the title. Looking at all the squads, it can be seen that France is the strongest. France has the most star players in the team. However, any guess in a round ball game can go wrong. But I think France and Portugal will go to the second round from Group F.

Group F is somewhat stacked, though given that all these teams haven't played for a while it's near impossible to gauge for oneself how these teams play currently without the help of other analysts who have been watching and being updated with how well these teams still perform. For one though, I believe that France will still dominate the qualifying albeit being grouped against Germany which has been a great team historically. Either way, I wouldn't really bet on the initial stages of the EURO 2020, not unless I see them play on the field.

To be honest this is hard to predict which will win but I think I'm rooting for the past runner up France or Spain, just my wildest guess. I am not into football to be honest but if there's some spare money to bet on then why not? Football was just full of surprises.

it's hard to predict who's going to win already with just random friendly matches they played recently, but i think Italy can make it this year and win the title, it's a gut feeling but also they've been playing really well in their last matches  with a clean sheet in a kot of their matches, i put them first to take the title.

June 11, 2021, is the day when the 60th edition of Euro2020 will finally happen.

For a competition that we didn't even know if it was going to be held, the simple fact that it finally took place is already a good bet for those who still believed in it.

It's still too early to bet, but I hope that at least Portugal or France reaches the grand final.

Actually, France is most likely to win the title. And if Ronaldo can do well in all the group stage matches, they will probably be able to reach the final. Because the Portuguese team is much more dependent on Ronaldo. If Ronaldo does not perform well in the group stage match, they will fail to advance to the next round.

yes, Group F can be called the hell group and has the names of big players and will be a group that is difficult to beat and will compete, besides that it will be an interesting match to wait for.
Germany, France and Portugal have all won the European Cup, and Germany won the European Cup three times, in 1972, 1980 and 1996. and France won the 2000 European Cup, and Portugal was the last European champion in 2016.
and I want to see if CR7 can repeat his win again in this EURO 2020.

It is too early to bet or to predict the winner. But I spot the last group which is the deadliest group having  Portugal, France, Germany and Hungary. However keep your eyes down you will understand that there are three major contenders and the trophy will rotate among these countries. They are  France, Belgium and Portugal

Finally this is entertainment for us, our league is not running because of covid. After many leagues are over, this is a moment of competition for the prestige of European countries. I'm glad I can see it again. It might be a little different without an audience, but that's okay because we can see it through the TV.
For European countries I'm looking forward to England this year, they have great young players, Spain the golden era of Xavi and Inesta is gone, for France I don't really know what I'm observing is only Mbappe.

Few days back I was able to grab France to win outright @9.00 and at the same time earn some free bets thanks to sportsbet's promo.

Nice to see the article favors France since i've seen others predicting Belgium and Spain to take it all(including this simulation (https://dtai.cs.kuleuven.be/sports/euro2020/)).

I also have a couple of risk free bets like any team to score o4.5 (moneyback if none) and no match to go to a penalty (moneyback if it happens). I won't allocate any funds but i'll most likely place some bets throughout the tournament if I see something worth taking.

I see France have complicated team as forward, defender and midfielder than giving higher chance to France get trophy EURO is most favorite than other club, I see After Benzema back many opportunity for France to get trophy and keep going on good touch after success got world cup trophy last moment.

I agree with your opinion that it is too early to predict the team that will win, but I do not agree if you say that only France, Belgium and Portugal are the strongest candidates to win Euro 2020, I think all clubs have a chance to  become champions, because in my opinion the 24 national teams that competed in the euro are the best teams and we also must not forget that usually non-seeded teams can surprise by becoming champions, as happened in 2004, when Greece surprised everyone by being the champion euro 2004.

There is a lot of teams that have potential to win the euro in my opinion portugal are not a favorite team i would go with france belgium and italy i think they will be the surprise of this tournament and they proved that today aginst turkey they are winning 2 0 and they dominated the game.

Even if you have one of the best squads in the tournament anyone can still take it imo as there are so many good teams in the tournament. I'd hope France would win but man it's going to be tough since they'll most likely face Belgium in the knockout phase and they're one of the best teams to win the tournament. They used to be my first choice since they looked so dominant recently but I switched to France last minute due to the injury of KDB plus the sweet value odds.

Yeah, I definitely want to make money from the Euro 2020 matches. So far I saved 50 Euro for gambling directly on matches and I have also 10 Euro with friends in a bet on who is going to win - my pick France. As for betting on games at the moment I am looking for risk free bets.I only want to bet on the top teams as of now like France, Italy, England, Portugal and Spain. If one of them plays a very weak team in the first round now it should be a guaranteed win.
There is no risk free bet, anything can happen in sport, football is not exceptional case as anything can also happen, you can take France to be the country that will win Euro 2020 but It may not be France that may win it, or it may be France, that is probability. Also you take a club but the club may not played and performed the way you expected. You may have high chance of wining by taking the strongest countries, but anything can happen. What I like more about Euro 2020 is during the first period when all European countries are playing, I like to take over 1.5 for like five matches. Although some games are certain, I was expecting Belgium to win Russia yesterday, it was not a surprise when Belgium had 3 golas to nothing as she trashed Russian.

Indeed there is no risk free bet but every person or gambler has his own way of being risk free with his own version, and I agree with him to only bet on the top team on paper. Even though it still doesn't guarantee an easy win, but when you choose another option bet such as 1.5 goals, then it also becomes something we call a risk-free bet with each version because if we continue to consider it a risk then we will not bet and try it.
Like today's match, I think it will be easy if we only choose a team that wins on paper like England, even though the opponent is Croatia but I personally am pretty sure England will get 3 points.
Next is about Austria and the Netherlands which in my opinion these three teams will win on paper, and maybe it can also be said to be a risk-free bet even though I am aware that the risk of losing will always be there.

I'm betting on Ukraine reaching the Quarter Finals and the Semi Finals. Our team isn't great at football, but this year, there's strong morale because with the story about the Ukrainian team outfits and slogans, the whole thing got political. I hope the team will show a decent performance because of feeling like there's a lot to prove to Europe. But I'm not crazy enough to bet on Ukraine winning the whole thing.
On a slightly unrelated note, did you know that the top scorer of Euro 2020 will have their records registered on a blockchain (https://www.uefa.com/uefaeuro-2020/news/026a-127c229f58c0-14a4eee79e04-1000--alipay-unveil-euro-top-scorer-trophy/)? It's an interesting use case for blockchain, and it'll happen for the first time.

Are you sure with your choose Ukraine will going on to quarter final? I see not any chance for this country will speak more in EURO 2020 and see many other country potential get good result, I favorite with Italy become candidate to final and can get trophy EURO after last final defeat by Spain. Completed team and many young player give more spirit for Italy to get more and have show how they defeat Turkey 3-0 at first match stage.

it has a new experience for both the teams and the audience . it will be awkward at first but the show must go on .
they will soon get used to this new experience  .
teams should still give thier best even if they cant see thier fans cheering on them but they should realize that the fans are watching them live in their homes and they can get dissapointed if they play poorly .

I guess value bets is the better term he's trying to say where he'll just stick to a few teams that are most likely to advance and bet on them whenever they're priced at decent odds just like that Belgium match you mentioned and possibly their next game later today against Denmark.

So far so good though most of the big favorites are performing as expected and there's only a few surprises (Sweden, Finland and Slovakia).

italy have strong team and they can reach semi final ,i hope they will continue with consecutive win at least for the first round and especially the third next match the odd for italy win is about 1.50  in sites gambling and this is very good chance for bettors , i think italy can win this match easily against   wales , i was very sure that Italy would win against Switzerland, but sometimes too many possibilities and fake news confuse the bettor ,matches must be chosen round by round , the bet should be avoided on which team will win the european cup now .
We'll see, it's still early to say they'll reach the semifinals because once they top the groups they're likely going to face Belgium in the quarterfinals. Italy only needs at least 1pt to finish first in the groups so there's a chance for them to end with a draw but they should likely win that match since they're the better team.

I'm not sure, but I just want to support my country, so I've placed my bets a little blindly. Also, it does seem that so far Ukraine has been playing pretty good in Euro 2020, probably better than expected. We lost the match versus the Netherlands, but the 3-2 score is very good IMO. And then yesterday we won against North Macedonia. Also, if you look at the odds for Ukraine vs Austria, the draw has the lowest odds, but Ukraine winning the match has higher odds than Austria winning it. So far, so good.

Ukraine lost to the Netherlands but it was a well-balanced and beautiful game to watch, it's really playing very well.

I also believe that Ukraine has the second strongest team in Group C and they should qualify, but from then on it's hard to predict anything. I believe that it has a good chance of reaching the quarterfinals if she continues to play well.

For now, I'm concentrating my bets on the groups until I see who will qualify.

Yes!!! I'm really happy that Ukraine reached the quarter-finals yesterday for the first time in history! Oneandpure, you were wrong to doubt the strength of our team in this championship. Ukrainian morale was very strong. Supporters on the stadium were loud (and honestly, I could barely hear those who came to support Sweden), and there were lots of people watching at their homes and in public places. Our president made a video in support of the team, and then called them before the game to wish them luck. Playing against England will be very difficult, of course, but the current result is great already. I'm also happy that I won my bet, although I regret a bit that the bet amount was tiny.

The finals of Euro 2020 would certainly be between England and Spain. Spain against Italy would end in a goal less draw with a penalty shoot-out which would wualify Spain for the finals

England against Denmark is a straight win for England with a 2 : 1 victory against Denmark. Making it to the semifinals isn't really an easy task I think it has been a wonderful tournament so far after facing a 1year delay.

I support italy but 'the ball is round' and surprises can happen anytime...

the team that goes to the semi-finals is a quality team and everyone has their own support.

btw, we have a thread discussing euro 2020 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5123136.0, better keep discussing there...

I wasn't interested in betting for the Euro cup initially because I don't get much time to gamble and watch the games honestly but with so many promotions being offered by various sportsbooks, I am finally making some bets and there are really cool promotions like if your team scores in the first 15 minutes you get paid as a winner regardless of the result.

I hardly get time to bet on Wimbledon and with so many tournaments going on, it's hard to keep up with all of them. I am now usually only betting on events with some kind of promotion on it. I prefer going for the underdogs and this tournament has already seen some close games.
