Quite a strange statement came to me in PM from the OP of this ANN.
He writes that he has nothing to do with the project, the topic is custom-made, and he does not bear responsibility. Again, as usual, there was no warning. And only after exposure, no one is responsible for anything.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5339220.msg57065544#msg57065544
However, after the project has been detected as a scam, the OP must remove this thread.
This is usually the case. Until that time, while the topic will live on the forum, I will leave a neutral review to the OP, as support for the scam project.

The accused helps out projects in designing the ANN and posting them here. Now it is possible they made a mistake and posted the thread without knowing it to be a scam project. A neutral tag only is good for now but only for a limited time. The accused must remove the thread and apologize that they made a mistake and then only the tag should be removed.

If they decide not to listen to this, then we have to assume the accused to be involved with the scammers and add in a negative tag and flag them.

I would defenitely like them to reply here. Whether the accused was paid for this or not and if they know the accounts who gave the job.

Someone from the Russian subsection DT could also help them understand the gravity of the situation in case there is a language barrier. OP is Russian I presume?

It is indeed a strange statement, how are you able to manage the thread without even being suspicious or trying to fact check everything about the whitepaper. Hopefully, the person involved will delete the thread because there will be people that are bound to fall for this trick because not everyone is visiting Scam Accusations or Reputation board.

If you use your account on this forum, you are responsible for the things you do with it. Creating a post that contains material that violates the forum's rules and ethical standards is your responsibility.

Also, shouting will do nothing for you in this case.

Yes you are, you designed the ANN thread and even after getting to know that the project is a scam, which you may have overlooked at first look, you still did not take any steps to amend your mistakes. What you can do is take down the thread and post an apology in its place that the project is a scam, advising others to stay away from it.

But I dont see any of that done till now. Already your account has two negative trust ratings.

Previously many innocent designers have been falling prey to such scams too, they redeemed their mistakes by severing ties with the project and taking down the threads. They will no longer seen with contempt anymore. You could do the same and save yourself from getting flagged next at which point any other "legitimate" project will not longer be willing to work with you.

Plagiarism whitepaper-- scam
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5342987.0

I was not surprised at all by this accusation.  OP is a well-known plagiarist and the fact that he took up the promotion of a potential scam who plagiarized whitepaper is not a surprise to me either.

OP is currently banned for plagiarism:

Everything! There is nothing more to explain to him. :)

Unfortunately, we didn't see any disclaimer we didn't see in the announcement that you are not part of the team that you are just requested or paid by the developers to post it and you have no liability on the project and you are willing to take it down if the projects prove to be dubious and there should be a warning to investors, about risk in investing, without it you are claiming your project to be yours.

Given the information above and some of the claimed about the plagiarize content. I think you are aware that the project is a scam. We understand if you just handle it and along the way turn out to be scam but not the case.

You probably knew all along and sit with it.

Also a disclaimer will be on check for those responsible ann thread poster. Learn that on some reputable manager whom posting the announcement or bounty thread. But majority of them check first the project to be sure at least its legit.

Thanks OP for sharing.
