Title: Jack FOMOs on Bitcoin
Post by: Maestro75 on June 11, 2021, 05:39:53 AM
Jack Dorsey, the CEO of Twitter goes more positive on Bitcoin in a few hours ago in a tweet he made on his handle, saying "We all speak one language, and it is #bitcoin" He tagged Camila Campton, a Bitcoin maximalist, to it. Is this a good sign that Bitcoin will go bullish this coming days?

I particularly like the last tweet in the picture. "None of them are needed but they need #bitcoin Just like the rest of us.

I'm a little tired of the price moving by twit. To prefer, I'd rather have his and others' twits drive the price up but since I'm going long term, I don't really care in the end.

I'm a little tired of the price moving by twit.

Get used to it. Every single asset class, no matter how big, can be manipulated by celebrities and their tweets these days. Even largest US stocks, even whole sp500 index:

So Jack hate crypto at BTC @ 7k$ but love BTC at 40k$. Interresting :)

No,this is not a sign that Bitcoin is going towards a bullish trend. This is just Jack Dorsey expressing his opinions about Bitcoin.I consider myself to be a Bitcoin maximalist as well, but those guys looks like a religious sect.Just look at the replies below that tweet. Are Jack Dorsey and Michael Saylor the new gurus of the Bitcoin sect? ;D

Even if we are tired of seeing it, we can't stop the movement of the market and the influence of the Tweets by influential personalities. Me too, I am on the long-term so nothing worries me too much but I am pretty sure that any good news is good for me.

If Bitcoin price grows, Jack is winning.
If Twitter is read even more, Jack is also winning.
And it costs Jack absolutely nothing.

I don't think that such a tweet alone can move the price though. But I don't know also what will be needed to move it further.
Some say it'll be the taproot lock in, but I think that even more is needed.

If we don't achieve what El Salvador did, but worldwide, these celebrities will keep manipulating the market whether they intend to or not. I may prefer reading positive tweets about Bitcoin from Jack, in contrast with Elon's dumb content, but even these people affect the market and it doesn't matter if they affect it positively or negatively.

It's advisable not to be proud of seeing Bitcoin do a 10%+ because of a tweet; it ruins its purpose.

Jack already in Bitcoin for a long time and he already has positive tweets about Bitcoin before.
But for a single tweet by Jack to move the price of Bitcoin, I don't think so Jack's tweets are very important for the price of Bitcoin to move.

Additionally, I am positive it was the Twitter Space shared by Jack earlier today, it was hosted by Spanish which a lot of listeners too.

It's interesting to see that Jack Dorsey likes Bitcoin so much and he even said recently that Twitter will maybe be adding lighting network soon, but I am not sure we can fully trust anything he say.
Bitcoin is probably one of the biggest anti-censorship tools we have today and Twitter is now well known for censorship and banning people so I don't believe this two can work well long term.
He was talking about decentralized social media BlueSky since 2019 and nothing happened so far in that direction.

Jack Dorsey has been a very familiar figure in the Bitcoin community for some time. He has always been positive on Bitcoin all these years. So this tweet is nothing special anymore. It does not occupy headlines anymore because Jack has already been around. In fact, he's just released a statement as to his newest product which is a hardware wallet.

Time will come everybody will need Bitcoin. We are all early birds here.

;D ;D ;D Why not? Bitcoin has proven to be something that can't just be killed off like that regardless of all the negative vibes that have been thrown at it, it will definitely be better to join the group.
Regarding manipulation, it has always been the world of most businesses especially when it comes to assets trading but I believe it is just becoming more obvious in crypto space because it is not regulated.

I hope not, A price swing due to a single tweet should not be the basis of its price pump. An organic growth due to mass adoption and more daily use case should be the reason for another BTC bullish event.

Depending on how people take his tweet seriously, a tweet is not supposed to be a driving force in a market price but nowadays people place much interest on tweets so there is a probability that this could affect price, it is difficult to tell what will happen. But I think btc is still bullish so far, am also looking forward to positive price movement.

I just wish that everyone would be mature enough to not press buy or sell buttons just because of a few tweets. I am so sick of having the need to watch for latest tweets than watch latest news. My views though on the price of bitcoin, is negative. I personally think that this will be the worst week for this industry. It will be bloody. I already moved to usdt at the peak and waiting for probably the best crypto sale of the year. Still though, if it goes the other way it will be great I'll just ride with the pump then.

Not really sure if this will have a positive effect in the market.

But it is obvious that Jack is very bullish on bitcoin, so don't be surprised by this kind of tweets coming from him. Maybe he just wanted to wake up the market again. However, I would say that investors are quite reluctant for now. Even the El Salvador news wasn't enough to push the price to $40k. In any case though, bitcoin remains bullish long term for me.

I don't really follow what's going on on twitter because it's still going to be like this, whether it's a pump or something else. I'm getting a little tired of following billionaires and famous people in tweeting something so I prefer to watch chart movements and take advantage of the opportunities that exist for trading and scalping and don't really care about FUD or pumps

Some say it'll be the taproot lock in, but I think that even more is needed.

In some cases it did, probably now anymore because everyone is not doing anything else than tweeting about bitcoin, people have got bored with it.
As for Taproot, think it is oversold, we need another serious push, and this time it needs to be something legal, either another country like Salvador or some tax exemption in the US, that would be great or anything else that is not just companies buying coins. There was a hearing in the Senate Banking Committee but that ended totally the opposite of what I was hoping, with the same screaming woman talking about things she doesn't understand.

So Jack hate crypto at BTC @ 7k$ but love BTC at 40k$. Interresting :)

Jack loves money, he saw how one can get rich using his website, why I can't do it?
But that ban was about advertising crypto services, not bitcoin. Besides, look at the timeline, your link:

Twitter bans cryptocurrency advertising MAR 26 2018
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/03/26/twitter-bans-cryptocurrency-advertising-joining-other-tech-giants-in-crackdown.html

https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/bitcoin-will-become-the-worlds-single-currency-tech-chief-says-66slm0p6b

He never really "hated" crypto!

As for Taproot, think it is oversold

I'm not convinced it's oversold, I'd say it may be more related to the fact that although it's now locked in, it will come in use only in November.

, we need another serious push

I don't care what it is, but it would help me feel a bit more reassured, more comfortable if it happens within a month. Just to tell once more "bull run is not over yet"  :)

Adoption and recognition is on the move and im aint surprised into these kind of sudden positive words that do came from those people.

They can say what they want neither positive or negative. We here on Bitcoin community does know on whats its capacity and whatever
situation that being attached on Bitcoin.

They FOMO all they want but not all would really be blindly on getting hyped even how they do give out some positive words about it.
We have seen tons and this turns out to be a casual words that Bitcoin could eventually get.

Let's stop making those assumptions that whenever a big guy tweets or posts about positive or negative thing about bitcoin. They're just usual posts and opinion about bitcoin.

That's why some of them assumes that they've became powerful due to that reaction that we give about them.

Why worry about the price of Bitcoin? Important changes are occurring before seen in the history of Bitcoin. Let's be patient if even the price remains as we can now buy more, let's think about those who are just starting with bitcoin, it is easier to buy low than buy high.

In reference to OP and Jack's message was due to the fact that he made a Space on Twitter that is a new feature and he talked about Bitconization in Spanish.

Let's not put aside what is happening in Nigeria that nation deserves to be free thanks to Bitcoin.

It's normal to see a person who is one of the well-known support the use of the bitcoin and other coins because they see the potential of it to serve as a source of income and profit.

It's better if we made research first before investing not only bitcoin so most of us don't happen to the people baited and trolled by Elon Musk.

Nah. I might be wrong but i don't think BTC is going bullish soon. We're still in a bull run if you look at the big picture. As i see it the new ATH's will be in the next spring.

It has the right to ban people who do not want to stick to its rules as a cooperate organization. I do not see that as censorship.

Am lost with your comment. You "don't think BTC is going bullish soon. We're still in a bull run..." That does not make any sense to me. Can you explain further what you mean here.
