Title: Are you investing in crypto currency alone?
Post by: Rruchi man on June 12, 2021, 11:07:20 PM
Not many countries have made available stimulus package for its citizens to help soften the economic effects of the pandemic.
With many nations of the world still recovering from the economic realities caused by the pandemic, how will you describe the economic situation in your country at the moment?

I am curious, Apart from your crypto Holdings, what other investments do you have? Or are you investing in crypto alone?

I have not invested only in cryptocurrencies. I also have investments into dollar and gold now. Gold side is bigger in amount though. Because I really believe that gold has a very bright future like Bitcoin. The reason I've made an investment into dollar is that the currency of my country has devaluated really much recently. So, it was really sensible to me to buy dollar instead of keeping my money in the currency of my country.

Aside from crypto investments, I have plans to invest in real-estate very soon. This I believe, is a good one to invest with because thru time, it increases its value. I think it is not good to only invest in crypto because of its high risk in nature. Better invest also in tangible assets like gold or real property. Remember the simple rule in investments - diversify your portfolio. Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Well, I'm only investing in cryptocurrencies right now and you may understand the reason according to my threads, etc. Post halving period is the best one for a man. But my future plan isn't only sit at home, work full-time and invest in crypto. In my mind I plan to collect the money and do one amazing startup after some years and no, my idea won't fade away. I have the best local domains in my niche and have done some work around it. I want better working experience in top local companies to work more wisely on my project(s).
And I have my hobby that I want to turn into part-time career.

Thanks to the fact that I have been in the crypto space for two years. I was able to cope with the pandemic crisis because in my country we do not have aid incentives due to the current crisis. Only the government has helped some families, thank God the people I know have come out ahead as well.
If anyone still has doubts about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, the pandemic was the best test to show that we can survive in difficult times.
The most important experience I had is that I was able to help an aunt to regain her health due to Leukemia. I thank God that it was all his doing for allowing it.

I planned to invest in Bitcoin alone since as time flies the halving cycle is the best and biggest reward you will ever get though it takes a lot of time for that to happen and wait but it's worth it. After this investment, I might have to make an investment in a real-state or maybe start with my own business.

This pandemic taught as everything that we shouldn't rely too much on the government because there's no such thing as a perfect government. We should do something to ourselves in order for us to contribute something to the society that would be useful in the future and starting a good business is one thing you can do.

If i were to describe the economic situation in my country at the moment, it's still such a mess, but not that bad. Maybe since it's been more than a year since the pandemic start, at first the purchasing power is soo low, many people lost their job so they have no money, their savings are gone. However now things gradually get better. For me myself, fortunately my economic situation didn't get that bad. Instead, i feel so cautious that it might happen again in the future and choose to add my investment, and start to save more and more for emergency cases. I'm investing in stocks too other than crypto, since the price of stocks are so low since the pandemic started, many of them fell drastically.

It's recovering and the borders are starting to open but health protocols are still being followed strictly. Hopefully, I'm waiting for that day that our government will start to announce that we're free from covid-19 and we can now go everywhere without having the need to wear masks and face shields. And most of those people that have been affected by lay offs can now go back to their old jobs and can start their lives again smoothly.

I am curious, Apart from your crypto Holdings, what other investments do you have? Or are you investing in crypto alone?
I've got a huge part of my investment in cryptocurrencies but it's also important to invest outside of it like real estate. That's why years ago, I already have it and still plans to use a part of my profit to buy the next property that I will have.

The situation in my country is not too different from others, and it's that the economy is struggling and in a pretty bad shape, we are already experiencing Inflation as the prices of commodities have all gone up, likewise the cost of living. Quite a lot of us are lucky to know and have invested in Bitcoin pre pandemic, thus it's somewhat easier for us to continue accumulating coins.

Having said that, most people who prolly want to invest in Bitcoin or start up a business etc, but are without the necessary capital are unable to do so, institutional investors have been all over the network since the start of the pandemic, and it's only possible for them cause they have huge amount of money, but for the average Joe, it becomes somewhat impossible to talk about investments when they are yet to handle their daily basis needs.

My country is in a terrible situation right now. Of course, I am not referring to the billionaires and millionaires out there whose lives are not really bothered by the pandemic. But the huge majority of ordinary people are really tightening their belts to make sure they will survive this pandemic. The COVID situation in my country is unbearable not so much because of the fast spreading of the virus as the losing of jobs, closure of small businesses, and so on.

I'm not investing into crypto alone. I have stocks, real estate, small businesses, and others.

So-so performance, it is obvious because of the pandemic and then we have the political turmoil as we will be having a Presidential election next year.

I am curious, Apart from your crypto Holdings, what other investments do you have? Or are you investing in crypto alone?

Even prior to joining crypto, I already have invested on stocks so at least I have diversify my portfolio and looking for more investments. I have 2 already, but since all of my money is in crypto right now, I would rather stay and HODL for the mean time. If the price bounces back or at least hit the previous all time high, I'm thinking of withdrawing some to invest to those 2 that I'm been eyeing.

Hard to invest when you don't have a source of income which you could have extra money for crypto investment. The stimulus package is good if you could just invest it instead of buying something you don't need. For those who have been in the cryptocurrency space for a long time, they have already figured Mastornodes and staking which they gain money through it. You will see there are users who are also into gambling which they find ways to risk and win.

I'm a bit late into staking but I think I've done well that I accumulate the profit from staking to invest some tokens. And also I make sure I get to earn from campaign so that I can help my investment grow.

For now i invest in crypto alone, I haven't started any offline investment yet. But truth be told physical or offline investment is much more better because the risk is less than the investment we have online tho it's requires more time and effort to make an investment grow. Many country's economy isn't good enough and this is more reason most citizens doesn't have any investment offline because there couldn't afford to start up something due to the effects of the economy rather there use the little there have to invest online and start building slowly.

In my country the problem of covid is still serious. and they must studying and work from home. and maybe because of this reason why everyone is also looking for investment online and in my country at this time crypto is very hype.
My other investments was property land and house.

It would be foolish to concentrate your holdings into just crypto, as good of a long term value proposition the cryptocurrency market currently is. Crypto is way too volatile to be the only asset class you hold, as you'd be severely out of pocket if you needed to liquidate your holdings for whatever reason over the short run.

I personally hold global equities, precious metals, and REITs on the side.

Essentially the strategy is to diversify as much as possible so that if one asset class goes up/down, it'll be dampened by the movement of the other asset classes and over the long run the net balance of the portfolio should grow with very little fluctuation.

The economic situation in my country still trying to rise. Many people are working hard to earn money, and they are back to their old job besides searching for a new job. It is a hard situation, but we need to trying to work to make money.

I don't have the other investment and only use crypto for my investment. So far, I can survive in this hard situation, and I am sure that I can make money from crypto. I wish that more people will see that crypto can help them make money, especially if they feel hard to make money.

in addition to investing in cryptocurrencies, I invest in forex which tends to have low volatility, with lower risk as well. I diversify the capital I have on both, with the hope that the capital on forex will grow although not as fast as in crypto trading, but it can give me a sense of security so that my psychology stays awake

It's never good to put all your eggs in one basket. That's why crypto is only one part of my investment strategy. I now have the largest part in real assets such as stocks, bonds and real estate, but also a smaller part in precious metals. Crypto is the most speculative part of all my investments, which admittedly, have also brought the biggest return so far, if you look at it since 2013.

Just to be clear, I've never seen cryptocurrencies [specifically BTCitcoin] as an investment asset and I've always used it as a "normal" currency and in regards to other investments, I've recently started investing 20% of my income [main job] into purchasing golds.
- I'm also looking into the possibility of either becoming a part-owner in a medical clinic or save more and become the sole owner [the latter comes with a lot of risks when it comes to ROI but I'd have more freedom].

I'm only full crypto right now, I think this is the best option for me, or at least in the country where I lived it. There are no options open that I wanted, so I would stick to crypto 100%.

It so happened that at the moment I invest only in cryptocurrency and work only with it. In the country in which I live, I cannot say that they are loyal to cryptocurrency, but they also do not tighten the screws to use it. I invest in cryptocurrency because I see that it can bring me excellent profits, which means it will improve my financial situation. Also, cryptocurrencies are the fastest growing assets, which means that investing in them is very profitable. I also understand that cryptocurrencies also have high risks, which means you need to always be on the alert and monitor changes in the crypto market.

I'm from a developing country, so there were no relief packages from the state here. Luckily, I didn't lose my job and overall my financial situation has been okay throughout the pandemic, but that has not been the case for many other people. Overall, we didn't have a good economy before the pandemic in my country, and now it's even worse than it used to be. The prices for food are rising, and the utility bills are up 35% from last year.
As for investments, I'm only hodling Bitcoin and a bit of altcoins. I'm not interested in traditional investments, and I never was.

For now am thinking about agriculture, this use to be my counties major export and source of income uptill when crude oil was discovered in Nigeria

if you talk about the pandemic and the economy, of course you have a negative and positive relationship.

The negative and the positive side: the pandemic is one of the biggest economic disasters for society to hit the world today, many people rack their brains to restore the economy, investment in alternative crypto that is widely taken by the public, it's no wonder that various types of crypto have sprung up, to be honest for me apart from investing, I also do stocks on government exchanges at the moment, but not in crypto, but shares in fiat currency, this is also the best alternative I currently do.

But I am planning to do some research and try to invest in the stock market so that the knowledge I have will improve in terms of investment stuff.

Although indeed the economic situation is unstable, especially the finances of each person.. but little by little can improve it slowly. The economic situation is not optimal as I have seen many business going bankrupt where I live, especially restaurants as even right now people are not going there because as we know that is a luxury and it is cheaper to prepare the food yourself than to go to a restaurant, and about my investments I am only invested in bitcoin, however this is not really my fault as you need to be already rich if you want to invest in the stock market.

Some people have their own way of making money or adding to their economy during the current pandemic. If it's only based on crypto, that would be a very bad thing. I'm not sure if I just rely on crypto for daily food. Maybe some people also have social media that makes money like having income on google ads. You can also see that there are people who have businesses that are done online. (online shop)

İnvesting on gold and dollar is another type of my investment. But also self-investment is my priorty to get better and better 🤗

gold is good if you have real gold with you. if it's just in a trading platform, it's useless. the price is going up though after years of being dormant. its best to invest in properties or acres of land.

since op is saying about his economic situation i think what he might be looking for an asset that is generating income which the crypto market can offer. there is so much to explore actually with Defi and staking.

The economic situation in my country is gradually getting better, not that i can say it's great yet, however since it's been so long since the pandemic, things are already adapting to the new situation. For me myself, other than crypto currency, i invest in stocks and deposits. Many stocks are getting cheaper since the pandemic, so it's best time to buy great stocks with lower value, like crypto too. Other than that, i put my saving in deposit. So i can have emergency money while still able to gain profit from them.

It seems like the cases are still increasing here; hopefully, this pandemic will be over very soon.
I still consider investing in crypto for the sake of increasing my asset value in the long run, but investing alone in crypto is such a risky move,
there's still a lot of investment options, things that can make you grow as an investor.

Honestly, the economical status of our country is getting worse and worse as days go by with all of this modified community quarantines. Lots of people have been losing jobs and the unemployment rate just rises non-stop because of businesses closing or having lesser opening hours. Currently, I am only invested on crypto currencies since it has the least requirements at the moment and stocks right now here in my country aren't really doing well. If I could easily invest on foreign stocks though, I would gladly do so, too bad the availability for this isn't in a good state. :/

My wife and I make different investments, I invest in some crypto especially bitcoin and my wife invest in gold metal and although the amount is not very big but both will be a priority for me and my wife to be able to make purchases when we have more money.
and when we have an urgent need, gold will be sacrificed and sold as needed, because I invest in crypto for long term and when profits multiply I sometimes do part of the profit to sell and to go on vacation.

For now my only investment has been cryptocurrency, and I have not invested in any other assets. But I have plans to widen out my portfolio and invest in other assets , though I'm yet to decide which other assets I should be investing my money and I hope to find better ones. And I also have plans to invest in more cryptocurrencies and not just stocks.

The situation in my country has not been all that good, and I think it's high time I look for bigger means to help my family. A lot of people this time around are even looking for ways to leave the country because how bad it has been. It has not been all that easy. I think the Coronavirus really made everything worse for people around the world, especially for those in developing countries.

I think pandemic caused the economy to go down but it also caused it to have more advantages as well. I have found so many "used" items that was cheaper than I could ever expect, whereas when I look at the previous prices it was even more in second hand, and this is after those items got even some tax increase as well so it is really a marvel that the price dropped when it should have gone up with inflation.

This is just used items, and we are talking about something much bigger here, real estates, gold, stocks and many other things that you could invest all went lower and you could have bought them and you could have sold them at current prices and made some money. So basically pandemic caused a situation where people who had money in their pockets who could make a profit whereas people who didn't had anything was in big trouble because of it.

Terrible situation. Not only economically, but also morally. There are no perspectives of a better future. Each new day there are less jobs available and if you want to get one of the few spots that ocasionally appear, you need to lick someone's ass in order to be hired. There is no dignity on it.
If you work by yourself, you can't rely on the local community, because there isn't enough demand and money for anything that goes beyond the basic needs that are already fully supplied. However, there are many people who say everything is doing very well in the country, because they have their jobs thanks to the currently elected politicians.

Well, at the moment I am actually investing on cryptocurrency alone. I have no other investment yet but I am planning on committing to others. I have seen how effective crypto have been so far from me but I do not want to rely on it alone. There are a lot of other investments that can assure the security of my future that is why I am not being too overconfident about crypto. Who know maybe one day crypto might suddenly fail or flop even though that is impossible right now, prevention would be still much better than regretting in the future.

in my family, I'm not alone, because my sister is also understanding crypto currency lately,
although it's a little late but I'm still happy that she wants to learn, I used to be alone,
before the pandemic, at school, at home, and in my environment still alone in the crypto world,
but after the pandemic everything changed, and I'm happy.

I am holding a large amount of TRX and I will probably sell it in 5 years, this is an investment for my future.
Good luck with your investment. Don't you want to settle and sell probably half of it for bitcoin? There's more future for bitcoin but we'll don't know how huge or small the future that's in it for TRX.

But still, I'm wishing you well with your large investment on TRX. However, you should really be in the strategy of diversifying and putting some percentage in other crypto assets if you're solely focusing in crypto and trx only.

Your opinion about cryptocurrencies investments is not wrong, indeed since the pandemic only crypto has extraordinary performance.
Especially those who started crypto investments from the previous year, now must be smiling, because the increase in crypto this year is
really beyond expectations. I myself have been greatly helped by investing in crypto, I can earn profits that I can use to buy daily necessities.
I believe crypto has helped many people's economy, so for this year I will focus only on investing in crypto.

I am sure many people are doing the same as you because they realize that crypto can help them solve their financial problems. Crypto now becomes a new way for people who want to make money and crypto also offers to those who want to have a new type of investment to start anytime with small money. But they must remember that investing in crypto will not always give them profit in the short term so they need to have the patience to hold their coins.

I would say yes because I do think that it can really help that I only do it alone so I won't be affected by external influences but that doesn't mean that I am alone in trading because I still have my friends teach me and them send some coins with potential for our circle to invest in.

I also invest in stocks and recently received dividends from the stock I hold, not much but enough to keep motivating myself to keep investing in stocks besides the cryptos.

Congratulations on a fantastic increase, but if starting the investment in the last one or two months I think the result is vice versa.

I've got index funds and shares of blue-chips dividend-growth stocks. I also have some real state, but according to Kiyosaki's definition it would not be an asset, since I do not do business with it. However, according to other financial sources it would be.

Aside from my crypto assets, im also investing in gold accessories. I've been doing this right before I started to invest in crypto. Gold investment is also profitable though it takes time before you can see the gains.

I'm amazed by what they did and that's a step forward

What is clear is that the economy has fallen drastically after the Covid-19 virus. A lot of unemployment in my country because many companies are out of business. Even now I'm still investing only with bitcoin, there are investments in the real world in the field of trading, it's just that it's back again because covid 19 costs more than income. In the end I decided to focus on investing in bitcoin only.

Hell, no I'm not putting all the eggs in one basket. Even if the basket gives me so much profits in short term. Aside from cryptocurrencies, I did some investment on real estate, bought an apartment and gave to rent to I do have a passive income too. In the other hand, I do have investment on gold and holding golds since almost 8 years or even more. So, even if one market collapsed, I do have my other plans.

With my little money, I can only invest in cryptocurrencies with the dream that the money will multiply dozens of times. Diversifying investments with a small amount of money is very difficult. I try to choose coins with large potential with a small-cap for long-term holding. So far, the profits are not high, but I think the results will come in a few years.

Exactly, this is a good plan to do instead of investing in one plan especially cryptocurrency which is still on the verge of going down badly compared to other investments which in my opinion are more stable and will not fall.
Real estate and gold is one of them, it's a must have for me to invest in all fields so that profits are not only from cryptocurrency but other income while remaining stable.
Just because of the bullrun of a few months we can generate massive crypto from crypto but no one knows in the future whether it will remain stable or even a severe dump, if one basket in crypto then everything can be destroyed.

Honestly right now I do not have enough money to invest into anything else, this is why bitcoin is the only thing I can afford to invest into. If I had more money I would definitely invest into more stuff, right now my dream is to own a shop to rent out, not to own and do something, I just want to own a place for a shop and then rent it to someone who will use it as a business, I wouldn't even charge a high rent, I just want to make sure that they could pay it so I would charge less than average for that place, that way I would be capable of just having a good income and even if I can't rent or get the rent from the renter, that place itself would be profitable over long period because it would increase in value.

However that requires a ton of cash and that is why I am not capable of doing something like that. Obviously it is not simple but I think I can still do it one day.

The economy has taken a hit everywhere but investments are booming. Look at the stock market, it is not going down. People are using the stimulus package money and investing them rather than spending them. Still, I would say more people have suffered from financial problems and this pandemic just made it easier for rich people to get more rich.

Because I really believe that gold has a very bright future like Bitcoin.
Hate to tell you, but the only thing bright about gold is if you get a nice, shiny proof finish on a coin or bar and hold it at a certain angle.  Gold has historically been a terrible investment, no matter what the goldbugs may tell you--and if you compare it to bitcoin, well, there's really no comparison.  Bitcoin wins hands down.

Now, as to the question OP asked.  No way am I holding most of my money in crypto, not even close.  In fact I don't think anyone should go that route unless they're really young, and even then I would plan on diversifying at some point.  I was a stock investor well before bitcoin came along, and that'll remain my primary passion regardless of how much I like bitcoin and a handful of altcoins.

Crypto is just too volatile and unpredictable to store most of my "wealth" in.  I used quotations there because I wouldn't call what I've got as real wealth.  I'm so far from being rich that it's laughable.  I also like income investing strategies, which bitcoin doesn't provide simply by buying and holding it.  True, there are PoS coins but most of them are on shaky ground as far as whether they'll even exist in 10 years from now.  But hey, that's just me.  I'm probably older than a lot of members here, so I can't afford to invest everything in crypto.

You mean the value of gold is based on fear? Or the fact that in the event of an economic collapse, there are no guarantees that gold will cost as much as it should be (given its world reserves and the fact that its main reserves are at a depth inaccessible to humans).

No way am I holding most of my money in crypto, not even close.  In fact I don't think anyone should go that route unless they're really young, and even then I would plan on diversifying at some point. [...] Crypto is just too volatile and unpredictable to store most of my "wealth" in. [...]
As for age, that's really wise advice ... but I don't think you're older than philipma1957 or Vod to talk about old age in the first person, (if asked, I would definitely say that you are no more than 40 years old). But if we talk about investing in cryptocurrency, about OP's question, and about craving for something like that, then I would recommend that anyone first ask themselves why this should not be done. Only after such questions does it make sense to think about lost profits and the benefits of investing in cryptocurrency.

As soon as the pandemic have brought us into quarantines and having very strict protocols, our country based on what I am seeing is somewhat somehow doing a slow recovery when it comes to economic growth since the business establishments and offices are getting back with limited working capacity to provide products and services making the prices of goods to cut down a little bit compared to when the pandemic have started.

Primarily, I am into investing with crypto but not just that because I am also having some business ventures to keep the money coming since you have to work harder at times like this. Yes I do work and invest in crypto but I do also have other side jobs to work with to continuously provide financial assistance to my family as well.

For a digital investment, I only invest in crypto, no others. I think it is enough to invest in crypto. Crypto investment offers the biggest chance to earn high profits. I ever check stock investment, but I am not interested because it has complicated ways. It is quite different from crypto investment, it is simple and easy to understand. We also don't need big funds to invest in crypto. We can start with small funds or with minimal funds.

In our country, if you will compare the economic status of it last year and this year its obvious that there are some improvements already although overall it went down.
Unemployment here increased by a little bit at the start of the pandemic until this year, prices of some necessities went up. Even though employees can go outside now and work in their respective offices, there are still businesses that are still closed now thus, some workers doesn't have any job until now which is quite unfortunate.

Now with regards to investment, I'm also investing in stocks as of this moment and most of my money is into crypto. I know its a very risky move but.... yeah I'm ready for it :).

Economic status in my country? Well, one word to describe it's "tough".
The national healthcare provider is stealing billions in our currency.
Quarantines has still been going on, killing all business establishments.
Worst unemployment record.
Stimulus? None. Government support fund is very limited. You'd be lucky If you have received $200 over the course of the pandemic.
Some government funds for the financially affected individuals has been lost.

So, I might say lucky are those who are still able to invest in crypto and other investment platform amidst the toughest economic situation in my country.

I really want to deal with risks that's why it made me to love engaging in cryptocurrency more rather than stock market that is super slow.

If you want a long term investment then just deal with the stock because you will just hold there, you can also hold in cryptocurrency but it is your choice to trade.

Yeah I do invested all alone since year 2017 until present, but that doesn't went good because of several circumstances that I had been through financially. There's a lot of opportunity loss that I wasn't able to pursue during old days, but I tried to move on and recover those losses. For now, I've still holding other altcoins which I think may prosper in the future.

I was a diversified trader in the past like investment in various fields were my main objective to allocate my extra funds like stock market, blue chip funds, crypto and gold but with rapidly changing scenarios I aslo adapted to it and reduced my diversification. This pandemic have encouraged me to go say 70% in cryptos out of which 55-60% in btc and ETH and other altcoins like SOL. Other options available with me are some scattered funds in blue chip with capital guarantee plans for further.Real estate require some huge investment so I drop it off and holding gold in locker from past. Was also lucky to invest at dips few weeks before and holding it for long.

honestly...cryptocurenancy is one that I have been following since 2017 and I have earned a lot of income from investing and as a bounty hunter.
from the experience that I have gained sometimes investing here is more profitable than others if we can be patient with the waiting time for the holder, but because there are risks and fluctuating prices, then I have to have another investment with minimal risk so I invest 80% of the funds I'm in agriculture and animal husbandry

The greater the risk, the less money I invest. like in cryptocurrencies. apart from this I also trade in forex, which I see is less risky than cryptocurrencies. In addition, the property business holds the largest capital because I see this business as the safest. with the diversification of the risk level, my assets continue to grow because I am comfortable living it so that there is no pressure when crypto crashes
When it comes to risk, of course, there is no doubt that cryptocurrencies are quite high risk,
I think everyone already knows about it, so before we jump into cryptocurrency we have to be really ready,
if we trade or invest carelessly without careful strategy and consideration, of course we will lose

People don't look that bad as far as I can tell. I don't know much about the whole country, I am simply focused on my on locality, which is more important to me. Though some complain too much but don't know how lucky they are.

Currently invested alittle bit in a business I don't really want share here yet. I'm also venturing into designing and manufacturing of machinery that doesn't seem to exist where I live. Want to know if it will be in high demand before starting production, and I want it sold as cheap as possible. By the way, I only design and get the locals to produce... so I don't produce them myself.

other than in crypto I have no investments anywhere else...

in some countries the economy has started to rise, it's because of the stimulus from the government. I make a little money from crypto and that makes me really grateful. I really hope the crypto market will be bullish again and many investors enter crypto again.

Pre pandemic, I’m investing a lot on my printing service, though sadly that venture needs to be halted temporarily since the operating costs far exceeds the profit I’m making. Currently aside from crypto, I’m also engaged in stocks, mutual funds, and poultry farming which is an extremely good business if you have the right contacts. It definitely added up a lot in my portfolio and is in high demand for the most part considering how poultry is a huge part of the dishes people here in my country prepare. A lot of farm-related investments are worth taking shots, really.

For now, I am putting all my money in crypto since I don't have a work yet so I might as well invest on something affordable and can make a lot of money. I plan to increase my passive income becaise I find it hard to work these days with exploitative businesses and toxic work environment and low salary.

Cryptocurrency is a relatively new market and a new type of financial investment of your funds. I personally am not one hundred percent sure that this market will not collapse overnight, even if just for a long time.
Therefore, I consider it correct to make alternative investments. Part I invest in the modernization of real estate, and part of the deposit in the bank.
My government is still cheerfully informing that this year it expects a good percentage of economic development, but I do not believe in that. In practice, almost every family either lost their jobs during this time, or their business, or suffered other material losses due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Yeah. It is mainly due to the fact that current market is quite at its low. I believe it could skyrocket anytime soon as long as more countries are considering in adopting and regulating bitcoin. DeFi space is also at its mainstream and these days are good to engage to some of DeFi projects. It could literally boost up my investment unlike stocks and other kind of investing.

For now, I only invest in crypto alone. However, I do have plans to buy some land within my province and a real estate property in the future once I’ve made a fortune with some of the cryptocurrencies that I have in my portfolio.

Not a fan in buying stocks for now, but I consider gold and silver in my plans.

Gain in stocks is really slow and small unless you have a huge capital for it like hundred thousands. Unlike in crypto, investing to good potential coins like bnb, eth, and sol will bring you good gains even if you don't have huge capital. You just need to have strong mind to not be affected when there is fuds or it is bear season. I've been into crypto since 2016 and I already saw many coins that soared from $1 to more than $10 now. If I just bought some of those coins in its early days then I would be rich by now.

Well, there were coins that didn't make too much profit in the past year (not common I know) and there are stocks that made 7x profit in the last year, so it is about how well you are at what you do and not about the market prices. I personally believe that there is a good chance we could end up with a profit in crypto if we are calm and collected instead of trading like crazy, but there were too many people who lost even during the biggest bull period as well, no idea why they act that way, like all the profit will be gone if they act slowly, but there were those people anyway.

Long story short if you are sure about what you are doing, then you should be feeling alright about either stocks or crypto, as long as you pick the right thing then you will profit as well. However one thing always boggles my mind, stocks are based on companies, crypto is a currency, why do people keep comparing them all the time?

As of the moment, my investments are mostly in cryptocurrencies. For me, cryptocurrency is one of the best investment vehicles that can generate profit over time, hence, I allotted most of my funds in it. However, I also plan to invest on other assets too such as investing in real estates, oil, gold, and maybe stocks. It's still much better to diversify our funds rather than putting it all into one platform. Like what they always say, it's not wise to put all your eggs in one basket.

I really hope by investing in different platforms I will be able to achieve financial freedom in the next few years. It will surely bring a nice feeling if you know that you're already secured financially for the rest of your lives and will not be dependent on anyone anymore.

It's best to diversify your investments on different places likes stocks and maybe bonds. You should invest in crypto currencies only if you can afford to lose. The crypto market is very volatile and investment over there has a very high risk. If you are willing to risk it, then go ahead. Invest everything (that you can afford to lose) of crypto currencies. As long as you are investing in one of those top well developed coins, and planning to hold long term, you will highly like be fine and make some good profit. Just don't sell at a loss.

Well for me, when I started I got other investment plans which was really doing well but later failed and also I tried out many forms of investment too which later turned out to be ponzi scheme and finally went away with my money  so decided to invest only on crypto and keep my profits in fiat, this is actually how my investment had been like and in time to come I would go for offline or physical investment because those ones are actually less risky and also gives good profit continuously.

We can not put our all money in crypto alone because they are very volatile. You can loss your all money in this market. You can get a higher rewards also but very risky. We can invest sum of money in our country markey they can give loss but not too early, even we can invest in gold as well.so no need to put all money in cryptocurrencies.
in fact, I also don't keep all of my assets in the crypto world. however, I know that the crypto world is very risky. I even saw many people selling their assets to enter the crypto world and losing money there. Well, right now, I'm probably keeping my 40% in crypto, and the rest is in other investments.

It is always good to be able to diversify money when you have enough, in my case I would love to have the economic options to do it, however I always advise buying physical or digital gold, having real estate investments and investing in Bitcoin.

When saying Bitcoin can also include investment in some cryptocurrencies that are about to explode, there are many based on Defi that are great, in fact they have very little time and have reached huge prices and an incredible specific capitalization, if I would say that it is not bad idea if you can invest in crypto only while you get more money to put it in other options

The economical situation was horrible in my country,  every year we were facing inflation and now it got even worse. It was a really smart move to invest in cryptocurrencies, this has, perhaps, played a key role in me being able to maintain a good quality of life. I also keep most of my money in USD, and because inflation has been going on for years in here and it's not stopping anytime soon, this has also been a good decision.
In my country (and, I assume, in other not very developed countries) it's actually funny, the way people think. We all hope for inflation and for our currency to drop because a very large portion of the population keep their savings in $  :D

I'm doing the  exactly the exactly the same but should highlight one thing regarding the gold - mine is physical gold in the form of both banks' ingots and coins. Many people invest into so called  "paper gold" but sometimes  it's not so easy to liquidate as the real  gold ingots. Crypto and physical gold are my best friends from the point of view  of both investment and safe haven.

Gold is also crashing these days. It's just so hard to find a good asset to invest in except the real estate properties because it's the only asset that will keep growing in value as long as it's in the strategic location.  Bitcoin is also affected by inflation and it has its own cycle this is why some BTC investors are also moving out. But then when all are afraid that the good time to buy as well.

Each of us should invest in areas where we have the right knowledge. Because investing in a subject without acquiring the necessary knowledge or skills is a very risky business. As a result, one may lose all the wealth he has acquired. In every investment, the risk exists and the knowledge gained reduces that risk a lot. I have no knowledge of other sectors of investment, such as gold, stocks. So I only invested in cryptocurrency because I have some idea about it.

Dont dive in into something you arent familiar in because that wont be already considered investment but rather gamble. It would be much better if you do focus only on one as long you do know on what you are doing then that what matter most.

Dont try on accumulate everything as if you do know everything because this would really just be creating some mistakes which would really
cause rather of losing money.

Diversifying is good but be sure that you do know on what you are doing rather than on doing something which is out of the scope of your
knowledge and awareness.

Diversification in crypto alone is not enough, you need to diversify your portfolio with everything. It could be stocks, it could be gold, it could be real estate, it should be everything matter of fact so that you are not in trouble.

If you have 10k dollars, then you should have 2.5k of it in crypto, 2.5k in gold (or silver or similar assets), 2.5k in stocks and 2.5k in "real estate" which I know is not enough for many nations but in other nations it is a good enough money to buy a plot of land, here in my nation you could buy a plot of land for 2.5k dollars, wouldn't be a huge one or a very close to city one but it could definitely happen. So that is why you should be diversifying all of your portfolio as much as you can. The numbers could change, but never overhedge yourself in anything because if that drops then you are all broke because you didn't put money into anything else.

Good question, here in Nigeria, i will categorically say that the government didn't provide any covid 19 relieve stimulus for its citizens, rather the bad government we have here were busy looting even the funds provided by the international bodies to help fight the pandemic in the country, but then, Nigerians are very strong people, created to survive in any kind of situation or condition.
Though some Nigerian celebrities brought out funds from their own pockets to help the less privileged in the country survive through the lock down period, but this funds didn't go far as the level of poverty in the country is currently very high, but I special thank and wish God's blessings upon this set of individuals who did this kind act of generosity.

Concerning investment, personally, I currently don't have much but I can say that 97 percent of my investments is in crypto, I have some little amount of money invested in other financial sectors like land and properties, shares from companies just starting up but in all this, where most of my money is right now is in crypto, as I begin making good money from crypto, I plan to start creating new investment portfolios in other sectors like estate, Forex trading, investing in stocks and shares etc.

Unfortunately that is the situation with all the corrupt governments all around the world, there is nothing you could do about it. A great example I can give about these type of things, if you know live aid 1985 or  watched "bohemian rhapsody" you would remember there was queen singing for a charity concert. That "Live Aid" collected a lot of money, millions of pounds all from the whole world, then what happened? Instead of the money going to Ethiopia like planned, most of it went to the dictator Ethiopia had that caused the famine to begin with.

Long story short there are these type of stories wherever government is corrupt. In our nation government literally asked for money from the people, yes you heard it right, not only they did not help us too much (albeit they are doing healthcare and vaccination and covid treatments all free so I have to admit that's cool) they also asked for money for it.

I also have other plans to start with another investment but it will only happen once i'll make huge profits from crypto hopefully when this bull run comes. It's always a good feeling having different sources of income that are both in demand. When one seems to fail, atleast you still have other investment to hold onto.

When it comes to investing in cryptocurrencies it is usually up to the individual to decide where to invest and sell when there is more profit. Many times if you want to get more profit you are at risk a trading strategy when implementing an investment is a plan that you follow there is no single right approach to trading so each strategy will largely depend on the profile and preferences of the trader. The economic crisis affects everything in the country but crypto has no intervention looking for investments that would be relatively safe from volatility or risky ones that could bring higher returns in the short term.

At the moment yes cryptocurrency is my only Investment,
But I also want to invest in other things to sustain my profit when crypto is dropping down.
I couldn't just rely on crypto alone since it is too volatile.
I think it's a good decision to be willing to invest in something other than cryptocurrencies,
with a very volatile price, of course the risk is very large and investing in cryptocurrency is difficult,
we must really understand market movements and be able to analyze them
everyone has their own choice. If indeed both are still running well why not. Crypto investments are running and other investments are running. So you can have two sources of income. So if you think which one is more profitable, please focus on the more profitable.

Apart from crypto holdings and trading I have somewhat permanent job and I am managing my expenses by the help of this job. I also do content writing on upwork and fiver.

Nice, that's a lot of work that you're doing. You got a secured profit because of your permanent job and you have a side hustle of writing which is a good another skill to add up some profit that you may receive. People must have difference source of income aside from investing in cryptocurrencies.
And this makes you good in your situation because you can invest with any amount that you receive from any of those sources.

i dont have any stuff outside. i try to search other investment like land and the others, but they give us (buyer) bad price, like 'oh,you take it on high price but you can make profit after a years'

For now, i only focus on my crypto investments because in this time of pandemic, i see no other investments that will flourish as much as crypto always do. It's just a matter of self focus and determination to never end up in a trap and stay positive even if the market is in a crash.

I also have other plans to start with another investment but it will only happen once i'll make huge profits from crypto hopefully when this bull run comes. It's always a good feeling having different sources of income that are both in demand. When one seems to fail, atleast you still have other investment to hold onto.

Sure, the profits from cryptocurrencies are huge. We must be patient with our investments.
If I get a big profit from cryptocurrencies, I will think about other investments like real estate, stocks, and other investments.
I'm currently studying auto repair. I think it will bring me a good income soon when more people use cars.

Honestly I do not see the reason to invest in anything other than bitcoin, the stock market is inflated and the same is true for the real estate market, bitcoin despite its high price still has a lot of room to grow and when we add that the governments are slowly losing control of the economy I think the day will come in which we are going to need a solid currency as fiat all around the world will go through hyperinflation, as such I do not see the need to diversify my investment in bitcoin.

Truth be told, investing in cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin equals generational wealth. To answer the question. Yes, my current investment portfolio is Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) only. Aside from the aforementioned reason, I strongly believe that Bitcoin is going to be around for a very long time. In addition, with the present economy situation in my country where the Central Bank keeps devaluating the currency, I want to sleep knowing that my investment is safe. However, the Government can't guarantee that, Bitcoin can.

Not only that investing in bitcoin is as simple as it can be, if I tried to invest in real estate of the stock market you need to have a ton of knowledge about it just to have a chance to make money with bitcoin the only thing you need to do is to buy it and hold it for long enough, even if you buy at a ban moment you can still recover your money if you wait for long enough and when we take into account the amount of fiat that has been printed then it makes more and more sense to get some bitcoin.

Speaking about long-term, yeah right buying or investing with Bitcoin is very much profitable if you have that patience to wait for another good bull run, if you are willing to take the long process just keep buying from time to time and allow those coins being stored to your safe wallet.

Most of the time, those who invest for long-term are the one who really gained very decently, imagine way back when the ATHstill @ 20K it took 2-3 more years before we saw another new ATH, and that's really amazing because if you bought from that 2017-18 peak and just hold it till to this date, you are still in positive.

History keeps repeating itself, if you can focus with your crypto investment there are lots of positive things to happened for you..
