Hey， I have across the news that coinbase, the U.S biggest crypto exchange announce that they have decided to list the leading $meme coin, SHIBA INU.
To me this is something that shall never happen in my consciousness, such a dedicated & high-end exchange platform has determine to go for some no-team meme coin.
But it may display a sign that how to define the standard of a good coin, it should be good team originated? or sufficient funds fro VCs? or based on a good product?
no matter what's important, SHIBA INU has shown us that a good community-driven project could be work with high-level exchanges.
So MEME coin is definitely worthy to invest

when is the good timing to invest?
someone may say bull market, because in the bull market your coin may be increase several times in just several hours, and many investors will be get excited about that. However, i would say that the bear markets is actually a perfect time to invest
several reason: first, the price shall be quite reasonable in the bear markets.
                        second, the returnness in a long time shall be way higher than just several times , it shall be 100times even 10,000times, look how shiba evolved.
                        thrid, a meme project that able to develop in the bear market has proof that they have quite long-term ambition and bigger goal, and it's worthy to pick them.

Recently there are only few coin meme coin, like : TadPole(TADP), like SHIBACOCK(Cock), of course you could still down SHIBA, but i think a wiser investment strategy shall combine the best and most updated, so you could spare few budgets for the new meme, it won't be fail you.

If you want to gamble, go ahead and buy some meme coins. Track the market closely and sell off once your expected price is reached. Enjoy with the profit.

Now also consider the downside of it. If the price goes down without any expectation of future bull run, then you will probably have to square off your position in loss. So don't invest anything which you can't afford to loose.

Even if you buy the most updated ones, the time of meme investing could be up to a halt already. Meme coin is now a lot of conversation, doge because of Elon Musk's tweet, shiba inu because stories get rich in an instant.
Memecoin will still be memecoin just for fun unless the developer is able to make changes so that this coin can be useful as a means of payment in many ways.
Please buy it if you feel the shiba inu will go higher in price but remember to always follow the development so you know the development is getting better or vice versa.

The good time to invest when the price of shiba coin already dipped or reached the bottom but no one know about this for sure but you can try to use the strategy to buy in the different level of the price to make sure you can take the dip.
Shiba already listed on the US major exchange site and the listing on coinlist will give a small impact to the price.
We know that coinlist was a good place to participate in the ico but it's a very bad place to trade as the commission is very high

Take them for what they are and if the situation was to go south it won't have much impact on you. Memes are a joke and should be treated as such. Any funds you're investing should be considered a wasted funds just like what you use for gambling.

Basically you're just joking so don't put your hopes on any meme coin you're buying. With practice like this, it'll be hard to get depressed when the market crashes as that's something that'll definitely happen as the meme market are quite over hyped.

If there was to be any meme project that was to overtake dogecoin then my beg will be on Shiba Inu and it has already been placed considering I put in some spare funds into the project just to see how far the project can go. There's so much positively around the project but no need to start talking about them before it seems I'm just hyping, only time will tell.

Big exchanges that are adopting it is adopting it not with the technology but with the market that it had. And due to the behavior that everyone likes about a meme coin and it's shiba, they've liked the market for it.

You have to remember that any amount you invest on it must be acceptable for you to lose. It's an investment that's quickly lowered its hype recently.

I have said it earlier and I will say it again, some people said that SHIBA INU will die off because it's a meme coin, that's not exactly how to judge a coin, SHIBA is the leading surviving meme coin that would be accepted across different centralised exchange, SHIBA does not only represent a meme coin but they have a good plan on the future developing her own decentralized exchange in the future, there are many reasons why coinbase lists shiba, what do you are those reasons?

if this is really shiba will developt their own decentralized exchange ,this token will have utility ofcourse and will be very different with doge coin . coinbase listing shiba ofcourse their business developtment have special reason, coins in coinbase mostly have good developtment and known as good project. maybe due this reason , shiba recognized as potential project that will have great developtment.

he is wrongly mentioning the incorrect ticker and that's the correct ticker for tadpole token.


This is a defi token but this can be considered as a shit token. Tadpole has no demand and it has a very small community. I personally will never take any coin like this one. This is not worth to be considered as investment.

It's funny to say that investing on $MEME token is really worth, went the gambling activity doing that investment is pretty high. Comparing to real gambling, I better to gambling all the money I have to casino rather than buying $MEME token. ;D

I think it's depend on the "Meme" Coin/Token itself, SHIBA was successful because it was listed on Binance in the first place and get more attention from the community because of that, Every "Meme" Coin/Token out there always having a good concept but still it's need another factor like you said to become successful Community-Driven Project. Indeed investing earlier on Some ILO/IDO sometimes will give good chance to gain some profit but the hype was over and the market already full of it.

Investing in meme coins is the same as a gamble. It all depends on luck if you chose meme coin is good then you can get 10x-100x profit. But if your chose meme coin is not good then you will surely get a loss. I have invested in many meme coins but always got loss still have not got any profit. So I suggest you don't invest in meme coins. If you want to invest then don't hold it for the long term.

It is not a worthy investment, just because coinbase lists something doesn't mean that it is worth the investment, they have also listed other coins and delisted them before as well, and the only reason they want to list something is the money they could make from it. They could list ANY coin as long as it has volume in USA and that is all they care about, why? Because the money they make comes from the trading fee, maker and taker fee is the profit coinbase makes, so if there is a good volume on a coin and they can list it without any security issue or worry then they will list it, look at all the coins they have listed so far and you will see a pattern there that will show my statement.

So this doesn't mean that shiba inu is a good coin, it just means that there is a volume in it and that is why its listed, it doesn't make it a bad one neither, but doesn't make it a good one neither, it just shows it has a volume worthy of listing.

No matter what exchanges that list memecoins. i have decided that I will not and never invest in anything meme coin. from doge to shiba. they are highly volatile and not good for holding. they are not good for investment and I have never seen meme coin as long term product. assuming they can be linked to social platforms, then will I consider investing.

even an exchanges only take advantages from fee that collected from trading volume. they realize it could give them alot income for operational cost. SHIBA truelly as speculative asset just like dogecoin, their investors or traders only hope someday someone like elon shiling this coins and they could earn huge profits . and now due some reason, SHIBA dumped hardly and alot people got rekted. project with no utility or usecase in their ecosystem were not worthed to invest.

And if someone has visited the SHIB ANN thread here [ https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5265926 ], you will understand that the foundation of this memecoin is just like an empty one. After the hype, don't expect that you will get good profits out of it. Known exchanges are just listing this just to get their share in the market. If there is no solid foundation, high likely that this will go down hard. So not a very good idea to invest in a vulnerable memecoin like this.

Although Shiba Inu (SHIB) will be listed on Coinbase, it doesn't guarantee the security to invest in that coin. I am no longer interested to follow the hype. FYI, there are too many people who got huge losses because of meme coins and I also ever experienced it. Trust me, the hype is very easy to disappear and the price can suddenly drop massively only in hours or days. If you have some money, you are better to buy top altcoins than wasting your money on meme coins.

Yes they are too risky for long term but for scalpers, meme token are gems for them.
Anyway, I don't think SHIBA will go up upon coinlist listing because we are on a bear trend and usually altcoins are not moving that much since we depend on Bitcoin trend. Anyway, if you have extra money and always play with the meme token then you might want to buy now before you see some pump.

I tend to agree that they are not good for a long time holding, because they don't even have a specific use in the community that must exist in the future, meme coin is just a joke coin that anytime will be vanished by the developer and creating another coin again. This kind of coin might under on the hype trend once they will stop it surely this coin will become a shitcoin.

But you can give it a try, an amount that you can afford to lose and it might worth it to have a scalping strategy and follow what trend on it.  At least you know the risk and prefer the exit plan once you think you can't recover.

There's nothing wrong to play short with the meme token and if you look back at the past months, many was able to earn big money because of that meme token but right now, on a bear market I don't think it's ideal to buy meme token. I'd rather buy Bitcoin, and wait for the Meme season again before playing short. There's a money with shitcoins on a bull market, but not right now.

Meme tokens are for pump and dump trend and this trend is risky and meme tokens are not good for holding. You will lose your money with them by holding.

If you can buy them at horrific dips, do it and enjoy bounces with exit. Don't hold, don't stay with them for months.

Play short is good only if you can buy them at dips and most of traders can not have patience, confidence to apply the financial advice "Be greed when the others are fearful". They do oppositely instead. Same for meme tokens.

Do some research before buy anything if you to hold it for a long time. for shiba inu i search some news about it and what i got it vitalik ( eth dev ) he donates half total supply of shiba coin he had for india covid 19. hoping they will not dump that coin in market.

They may doesn't look a good coins to hold for you. I don't hold any of them too.

But before when the prices were low, there were a lot of people who made money from it. It's not a good time to buy them but that doesn't mean that you cannot make money from them.

I do agree that if there will be a use case from these, for dogecoin it has and has always been used as an alternative but for Shiba. It's only listed due to its market.

You won't believe or not.I had lost 100$ by investing of some dollars in a month.So we can't say shiba will be the best coin.Only this meme coin had looted all the people money.But if you hold for a period of one year,it won't loot your money.The only reason for the loss is simple,people want to cash out in a very short period.

This Shiba thing is getting people worked up a lot, I know that it is not really conventional and orthodox type of project but as long as you do not put too much of your money and risk anything that means you could do whatever you want.

First of all, please listen, I think it is a moronic, idiotic, joke of a coin that worths zero and should not have been created to begin with, and yet I still support people buying, you know why? Because I bought my own share of moronic, idiotic, joke coins that worth nothing at all before as well, I was caught in a hype when I first joined crypto and did silly stuff.

Anyone remember namecoin? That was the second biggest coin in the existence when I first started crypto, bought a bunch of it over 3-4 dollars and then when it crashed I thought it just ended and sold it under 20 cents, not like it us that much higher now, it is just over a dollar, but it is 668th coin and not 2nd neither. So do whatever you want, eventually you learn to do better anyway.

I get the idea, but instead on investing a meme coin on a bull market, isnt investing to a great fundamental project is better?
I mean did you expect a very high gain from a meme coin better than another?
