I have come here to express my intention of working as community moderator for cryptocurrency projects. I am a very fluent and eloquent person with good communication skills. I will be so appreciative if you could connect me to project owners or be of help in any way to fulfill my ambition. You can contact me here or on telegram @CryptoMod

This is not the right thing on how company search for their moderators since mostly they select the most active member in their community so be active on new telegram channels so that you can convince the Dev to choose you to be part of their team. Also you can apply directly if you see that they have few members and try to search them on altcoin boards since most of the time developers post their new projects there.

It is not that easy, as it requires that you have sufficient experience and good dealing with others, in addition to the fact that many sites pay with their tokens, which makes you bear all the losses and you will be faced by angry subscribers if the project turns into fraud, so I do not advise you to randomly manage projects.

Many of them demand that the person be engaged so that his opinions are heard and others will invest because of them. So try to be useful in your community.

Yes, This is the common scenario on hiring new community moderator but most of the time, They are hiring through LinkedIn after they established the core team members. But posting here like this will not gonna attract attention to project that needs this since LinkedIn is the usual place to find people for the job description.

I suggest to OP to create a LinkedIn and setup properly his portfolio. Then submit application on hiring projects there.

I do agree with this since base on my experience developers always ask linked for profile verification so its good for OP to create linked account since from there he can get better chances to get a job from those developer who's searching for core team.  Also as quoted users above he should  go at altcoin section and hunt a new threads from there he can possibly get hired since new project mostly seeks guys who can help them  boost their project.

The best place to offer your service is the service section, there's two service section here in this forum, there are even developers or admin of projects who are looking for moderators to manage their channels, you can offer your service for free at first so you can compile your portfolio, once you got a portfolio to show then you can offer payment.

Having a hard time getting projects to reach you? Of course it is obvious. Projects wont just check the forum and look for moderators especially in this board. Try reaching them first. Services section is your better resort yet the best one is to look for upcoming underdevelopment projects and offer them your services. Still, it can be crucial as being a moderator would give you huge power on a certain group chat and could give you enough permissions to make a reputable project's image turn onto a bad one. Hence, establish your services first by engaging to be a moderator on something smaller like a simple twitch mod and etc.

Devs will only come to a person if they are known for doing this business so we cannot expect that they will come to us if we are small time moderators so best to apply on it and put some efforts to show to the devs that you are worth to be part of their team so best to look for jobs at any social media platforms, forums or anywhere mostly devs goes to promote their projects.

If you are good at what you claim to be then why ask for help, you know moderators should be good at looking for solutions and they should do their own research, if you did your research you will find out that there are sections for offering services and not creating a topic that is not suited to a category, moderation is not all about communicating it's more on getting something in a proper place so move this thread in the service section.
