Seems that you just got the photos from the net and create their names.

You're right. I think it would be fair to tell about this scam in the Scam Accusations.
The guys are not well aware that posting fake team photos is a red flag for defining scam.

In bold above the team page: WaRning!! This is a pretend team.  There is one real dev atm (me) see if you can guess who that is, hint:: email address.

Problem is, we have had so many scammers do the same exact thing here in the past and ended up getting away with people's money (valuable BTC or ETH) in exchange for the worthless tokens/coins. So good luck convincing people that It was a joke project with no intended harm.

It's not a joke project.  I've a whole pile of features in mind if people want to contribute.  It's a genuine test project to learn and develop.

I'm not here to convince anyone.  I'll post the code and it's then up to people if they want to work with me or like what I'm doing.

I didn't expect a reception like this given the initial interest in wardcoin but have seen some scammy projects recently dogelon etc.  so can understand where you're coming from.

Anyway, maybe you'll be right and nobody will be interested, which would be a pity for me but let's not forget bitcoin was created by an anonymous developer satoshi nakamoto.

Id help run a server if you change to GPU or CPU mineable coin.

The future of this project is cloudy. I guess, the OP should just shelved this project and move on with his life. Even if he says, he has no ill intentions, still users that will buy this coin will be screwed. You should have not posted those fake photos and profiles. Because that is one warning signal if the team is indeed serious or not.

Added code to github.  Could not figure out how to change git replacing LF with CRLF as was using source on windows machine, was really annoying, so uploaded from server.

I think it's time to work off ubuntu locally instead of windows :D

I was able to compile wallet for Ubuntu.
Can you please check the explorer, it is not showing the latest blocks and only shows till around 12000 blocks.
Though the correct number of blocks is displayed at the bottom page of the explorer.

Sorry about this, I've been avoiding this since June as thinking about what a previous poster said, "creepy".

This was done for fun but my fear is that someone will not see it the way I see it and it'll turn into the world's contract killer currency or something hideous like that.  I'm shutting down my servers today :'(.  I hope you didn't spend too much time on it.  It's just ended up creeping me out. >:( :o :'(

I think you didn't have the stomach to deal with real world feedback. Sucks because this coin name could have been easy to grow if marketed properly.
