Title: How low will Bitcoin go?
Post by: Abiky on June 26, 2021, 12:07:22 AM
It looks like Bitcoin's been on a constant bloodbath, struggling to get past the $40k mark. China, Elon Musk, among many other things, have caused the crypto market to go bearish. At the time of this writing, Bitcoin sits at around $33k per coin. A couple of days ago, Bitcoin was valued at $31k per coin. This is a good opportunity for those who missed on the train to grab coins at discounted prices. But it's a terrible situation for those who bought some Bitcoin when it was close to the $60k mark.

I'm wondering how low will Bitcoin go in price within the next couple of months? Will we likely see Bitcoin heading back to sub $20k prices? Or it is too late already? Do you plan to buy more Bitcoin and "hodl" strong? Or do you plan to sell it all? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much. :)

It could go to $10k but it will eventually go back up. It really depends on many economic factors. It always goes back up, as long as the internet is around.

Agreed, $10K is the final destination.   8)

Honestly I don't want to predict / fantasize anymore about the decline in the price of Bitcoin for now, today it is trading at $32,000, this is a very far drop from the previous price.

I believe for myself, Bitcoin will go down even more. My heart says $20k and possibly even lower, for now I don't have Bitcoin in my wallet, everything I have melted down into several parts including fiat, I will see further developments on this decline, I will take three parts in the future.

1. $20k and
2. 15k
3. 10k

And I will try to buy.

Though if someone has bought it at $60k mark, it still does not matter. The reason one, whenever BTC reaches certain amount of ATH, then it always drops, creates the resistance, then there is may or may not be a bad/good news on the way which hampers it more.
However, there is one thing is for sure, BTC has always not matter what re-bounced to that ATH and without fail it has crossed its previous ATH too.

I don't think we should be much worried about it. Also, the halving cycle will come by 2023, which will reduced the reward, increase the demand and we will have lesser supply as people go on buying.

This always turn it out to be beneficial for bitcoins price movement.

Lets hold tight buddies.

I think BTC will stay near 30-35k for this summer or maybe longer. I bought some recently and hodling it in ownr. Not going to sell it untill it at least hits 100k.

Sorry to say, but I don’t agree with you.
10k USD is too low for BTC standards.
Now as the BTC is falling it will fall at last to 27k USD, and i am sure not less than that.
Moreover as soon as the price falls down, many people will start buying the coin at low price and that’s it.
It will now help again to boost the price of BTC.
So a bright future awaits for BTC holders.

It's already going $20K or could get worse than that. The one thing that the market wants you to think is that it's possible to go back up again at a short period of time but in reality, a long winter market awaits as history repeats itself again. 2018 long bear market is coming back again.  If you still have the chance I think taking your money out will be beneficial for you still.

50% or more discount percent is good to accumulate cheap bitcoin. It is funny when people wanted to have cheaper price to buy bitcoin when the price topped above $60k and now when they have discount, they are not brave enough to accumulate. It is a common psychology of most of people in the market.

I think sub $20k is possible and the bottom can be about $19k. However, bitcoin can reverse any time with price from $24k and sub $20k might never be touched.

Buy it around $24k or $19k and hodl, please don't sell it below $50k.

For me, if we will not close below $30,000 this month, I am positive that we will see Bitcoin will go sideways for next month, July.
So, it's kinda very risky for Bitcoin now, even we all know there is huge support around $28,000 - $30,000. But then again, if ever we will still go down around those areas, I will be buying more.
The drop from all-time-high up to around below $30,000 is already a massive drop, so for me, I am not expecting any more drop below $25,000 - $20,000.

I think Bitcoin should not fall to around US$20,000 in the next few months, because China’s various measures and bans have almost been implemented, and the impact on Bitcoin has basically ended. There will be various positive news for the next two. , The price is already the lowest, and Bitcoin should rebound in the next period of time, because we have also seen that some countries are declaring Bitcoin as the national legal currency, which will further promote the rise of Bitcoin. If you want to buy Bitcoin, this will be the best opportunity, and the price will not drop as low as it is now.

IMHO, I'm strongly believe in saying, that anything can happen in the crypto space, so honestly speaking the Bitcoin price could go up or go down in no time and no one knows when it will happen because its a game of speculation anyone can predict or say its opinion but one thing I'm very sure that no one knows the future price of BTC in advance. Here is my personal prediction it will return to $20K but not going lower than that level within this year.

The standard fall from exponential highs has been 85% (at least the 2017 FOMO rise), but I think bitcoin is becoming more mainstream, seasoned and will actually be less volatile than before.  If you look at stocks normally except under very rare circumstances, when they fall 85% they are going to zero.  Stock markets as a whole generally only go down about 50% in a crash.  Since the high on bitcoin was above 60,000 I am guessing the bottom will be north of 20,000, just my guess.  Others suggesting 10,000 may be right, but I would be more in the doesn't break 20,000 in this down move camp.

I do not believe in that qualification, a bit exaggerated, well at least for me, the point is that we set the +$60K as the benchmark, when for the most enthusiastic in the price being close to +$40K for these months meant an important achievement I think this correction is so welcome that those who understand bitcoin volatility know that the 60k barrier will not take as long to overcome as it did with the +$20K barrier.

By the way we should still be celebrating having surpassed the + 20k figure, but the 60k hangover makes us forget the true achievements.

For now news coming from China is doing the most to make markets more bearish, but the good news is miners have countered by moving their mining activities to another place which means market confidence will soon be restored.

But to answer the question of how low price will get,I think we shouldn't  go below 25k we need to head back up to $60k or more.

in today's uncertain market conditions many are worried about their BTC portfolio...

I will not sell when the market conditions are sideways like this, bitcoin has been to $60k so I'm sure BTC will return to that price. don't panic, keep holding.

Hopefully, $28k was the lowest price of bitcoin, and the price is not going lower than that price. But this day, the bitcoin price is back to $31,300, making the price go to the lower price. But we don't if the price will not go down below that price because the bitcoin price itself is unpredicted, and we can only wait for a while. But with what happened to bitcoin now, I think the up and down of the price will still continue and will give us more time to buy low and sell high.

The trend now becomes down again, but we hope that the price can start another rally in the next week and lift the price to the high price in the next week. If the price can still up and down many times in the next weeks, I guess we can use that for our benefits and make more profit.

Anyone notice the pattern of several weeks in a row now which is quite simple,Bitcoin goes down mostly on weekends and during the week starts to get back the losses up to a certain point. It is going on since 19 May and is more than one month that we are stuck in this pattern. What does this mean?No new factors to push Bitcoin price higher or is because lately the China FUD really impacted the hashrate, difficulty and price of Bitcoin?

hard to guess of course, i don't think it will gong down to $20k I guess, from the price movement.. it's like it doesn't want to go down from $30k, I don't know how much it holds at $30k, well what is clear in my opinion, is a downward phase that does not last long, because it's possible that this decline could be a time to buy and then rise again.

the price of bitcoin is very difficult to predict no one thought the price of bitcoin would be like now but for sure the price of bitcoin will definitely go up again I'm sure, I've bought bitcoin at a high price and now the price has gone down. I don't regret the bitcoin price going down because I'm sure the bitcoin price will go up again because bitcoin for me is an asset for the future.

Bitcoin is on a bad run again. The price went down to $28k some days ago but it recovered quickly. But it is decreasing again. Now it's $30.3k. It wouldn't be surprising to see it below $30k again. The main question is: Will it go down below $20k also this time? I'm really indecisive about it. There is a possibility though but it's hard to predict.

That's a question that no one has a definite answer to because it's kind of like an infinite, we never when will be the end of it so what we can only do is probably guess what point is the prices going to go deepest.

everyone must have a price at which to sell that is "enough" to make you feel comfortable. price will surely go up hard near 2021 summer end. we have to remember price correction was over 50% so it will take some time to break last ATH. Personaly I believe around 30K was bottom and price will be between 30-40K range for some months. the worst thing for price drops like this is that you just have to wait and can't sell even in case you need money badly cause you will be in a great loss. 3-4 years ago i put 100K price limit for selling personally and will stick with it. hope to have another chance to buy back after that.

I'm sorry but bitcoin bull markets don't end like this. I mean you had a few months of above $50K prices. Bull cycles usually end in massive pumps. Imagine 20k green daily candles for a few days. This feels a lot like 2013 when we corrected midway through the cycle and then went up again. Overall I think we are at the bottom right now. With that being said on a final shakeout move we can see an absolute low of $25K. Lets wait and see.

the influence of bad news that came repeatedly made bitcoin crash with a very deep correction.
bitcoin had dropped below $30K which is a very crucial price because bad things could happen and could fall even deeper. but finally bitcoin was able to rise to reach the price it has been doing for a long time, which of course is a very stable price so far and lasts the longest in that price range ($30K-$40K).

but the price of the decline near $30K is now happening again and the very fear is it will drop below it and can't go back to increase, even if it will increase it will take quite a long time. hopefully bitcoin will return to a stable position and not try to go down.

the increase so far is still big but it will happen at the end of 2021 and not now, so it's still quite a long time, so there could be a lot. actually this is the moment where if you want to invest in bitcoin, because you can be sure the price you buy will someday be exceeded by bitcoin by creating renewable ATH.

Personally, I don't think this is the time to sell. If you bought in around the ATH $60k and you have not sold till now then, now is not the time to sell, I think we should continue to HODL till Bitcoin recovers because no matter what is going on, It will only take some time before it blows over and the uptrend starts again and those that sold will start to regret why they did. History has thought of much with regards to Bitcoin price movement and we said this for people that bought back in 2017s ATH at around $20k which later crashed to $3k+ and eventually saw $60k+ if they have HODL all this while were in good profits and that's what I see for this market now.

If I had more funds, I will definitely be buying more Bitcoin or even if it goes down some more.

Summer is not Bitcoin's season.
The bearish market will stay during the summer and the beginning of the fall.
I expect a bull market in late November/early December, but I might be wrong.
Now is the time to go on a vacation and forget about Bitcoin price fluctuations, bear markets, bull markets and all that BS. ;D

There is nothing impossible during bitcoin price fluctuation, the highest price before the recent halving that occured last year was around $20000, the price decreased to less than $4000 like twice before the 2020 halving. If the price of bitcoin can decrease to such, what makes you have the guess it can not decrease below $30000 when the highest price for now was $64000. The price has not been decreasing below $30000 but I am thinking that it will still decrease lower than $30000 and sink more to around $20000 if not lower.

After all the issues bitcoin is going through at the moment, it is really hard to predict what would be its lowest value on this bear market. It is just playing within a certain price range and goes along with what is currently happening in the world. If ever bitcoin reaches $20k again, no one for sure is going to let that chance slip on their hands, that might be the lowest bitcoin could be and certainly, others will be firm with their holdings or investments because they are well aware that bitcoin will get a new ATH somewhere in the future.

Unfortunately, no one can say 100% how low the price of BTC will drop at the moment. The latest news shows that there is a fight going on. But what we need to know for sure is that if you would like to invest in BTC, now is a good time to do so, especially since the price of BTC is now half of its past ATH. Personally, I do not sell my BTC as I believe that this is not the right strategy, since I believe that by the end of 2021 there should be another phase of growth in the price of BTC, and that is when it will be possible to fix your profit.

In my opinion, if bitcoin price drops to the worst of 10k$ it will be a crisis for all investors, but looking at bitcoin analysis chart, it is at very strong resistance area at 30k $, so no one can specifically determine the future price of bitcoin. but bitcoin is the strongest currency that determines a lot of transactions in the market and i believe in the future it will reach 100k$

$20,000 level is very much possible in the next few days as Bitcoin is currently close to the support level of $30,000.
FUD is just too strong for now, but I honestly don't think it's a problem. That's how Fudster wants to see so they'll have to buy at a much lower price.
I thought weak hands have already left the market lol.

Hodl at this current range, and accumulate more when Btc falls below $29,000. The bounce back will be much higher than $60,000 in the next bull market.

Not only is it very difficult to predict how far the price of Bitcoin will go down, but it is impossible for anyone to know the lowest price of Bitcoin.
Instead of guessing something that no one really knows the answer to, why don't we use the current situation to buy Bitcoin. I am tired of predicting
Bitcoin price movements, so I buy Bitcoin every time the Bitcoin price drops. This can be profitable if we do it now, because I am optimistic that
in the future the price of Bitcoin can rise very high.
- Therefore, we can see that this question is becoming a topic that is too naive, knowing the value at a certain low and position, we probably don't need to look at the price pattern, simply place a few more orders at that price but no one can do that, demand and other factors can influence each other and change the value of bitcoin. Looking for an unrealistic answer only arouses negative emotions, I welcome people like you who are positive and confident, instead of trying to change the situation in the powerless

I think it will go lower than $20K before it will bounce back. Good to buy more at a lower price and just hold for profit despite of all the negative news.
Really sad to see that we would be heading go below back in 30k price point and all of those rumors about going even below 20k is something really that possible to happen on where majority is been telling that it is way too far to consider on going to that point.

Whenever there are negative sentiments that do circles around then it isnt actually surprising that the market could really react on that way which would really result into situations like these.

When it comes to reactions and personal insights then it isnt something new that people do freak out and keep saying that this would be the end.
I would rather be readying up my stash or cash for buying back or for some cheaper coins.Chances like this doesnt really come often.

Bitcoin can go to $20K or even lower however I will tell you one thing, it won’t be this month. Why? Because the funding is very high for shorts. Right now longs are being paid which is a rare event. Means that there are way too many people being bearish at the bottom, which is never a very good sign.

We are close to going below $30K again and I think we will get a short squeeze sooner rather than later. Because there is nobody left to sell anymore except maybe the shorts which will have to buy back soon.

So we will not get a nasty $5K capitulation wick like everybody is predicting. Maybe are comparing this to the old $6K support back in 2018 but one thing is different. Back then the funding was positive or flat, it wasn’t negative as it is now.

So I am predicting that the range low will hold and we will chop around for the next few weeks.

it's a weekend, and indeed the weekend is a very confusing situation,
because at the weekend the crypto market will experience a fake pump and dump,
so there will be many wicks later on each candle, which must be strong support at $28k to $30k,
don't worry july till august i will all look good again.

We might see sub $20k but that happens when there is a major correction and not when the market is looking for a direction, i am still not convinced that we are in a bear market and the market is trading at a range for some time and it will continue to do so until the market is able to break the resistance and until then expect the market to move in the same direction for a while.

I think that is the answer that everyone would like to know at the moment, the previous days have been really bad for bitcoin and for the whole market in general.

I think that at worst we could see a price of 20k, and I repeat this is the worst case scenario we could see and it will require another huge round of FUD to take over the market before we see something like this, however I think it is way more likely we see something like 28k, so in my opinion we are close to the bottom which makes the current prices a great opportunity to buy coins for cheap and be ready when the bull run finally begins to gain strength.

The thing about short squeezing is that the upside is wide open, and nobody talks about that. That 40k is not that long time ago and right now up until 40k there is no resistance, which would destroy all the shorts there are at the moment. Which is why I believe a price increase towards 40k once again is not that incredibly difficult, however a drop to 20k is, not because logically both can't happen, it could definitely happen, as I always say bitcoin could be 1 dollar or 1 million dollars (in long term) and they are both technically speaking possible (although we know neither will happen soon).

So what does the current situation tells us? It tells us that in order for us to go to 20k that would require A LOT of people selling, whereas in order to go to 40k only half required to buy, so when one side is easier, usually that side is where we go.

A price below $20k would be considered a bargain, in my own opinion. Those who bought coins for cheap, will be able to obtain huge profits once Bitcoin goes well above $60k per coin. How low will Bitcoin go within the short term, will greatly depend on how much sell pressure there is on the market. Negative news like China banning Bitcoin miners, and Elon Musk's "high energy consumption" criticism will only sink Bitcoin deeper. After the tide goes away, Bitcoin will go back to the way it was. It wouldn't be wise to sell your Bitcoin now, unless you need the money right away for survival. Prices above $60k will become a reality in the future thanks to Bitcoin's deflationary model. Hold on tight as the best is yet to come. ;)

Obviously this is the lowest price because at this time it has not been reached at that price, maybe we should wait longer with the price of 20k? no it will be very difficult i say $35k is still at its lowest phase but some traders don't dare to buy just because they are afraid it will be bearish again when in fact the guts are not strong enough to reveal that bitcoin will be able to make another 60k in the next few.

Trust me the news from China and Elon Musk will only slightly correct it and after the good news comes it will slowly spike further so I say I dare to do it now with a bitcoin target above 60k later.

Saying nothing doesnt mean that they are afraid, it is just the market is way too unpredictable and its just better to be quiet and to be observant rather than on claiming out something which isnt sure to happen.

We do have the right to express our own opinion towards possible price movement but we cant really make out some guarantee that we wont really be going that low in next week or months because
34k isnt just too far off to go back on 20k but basing with some sentiments and technicals then i cant really say that we would really be heading back but who knows right?

All we can do is to drop a wild guess since even if how good you are reading the chart still it will not give you any guarantee that we can say the exact amount will came in future although we can get a basis on it but still we kniw market moves is surprising thats why its hard to tell if we can see lower than 34k or we will go up surge for more these days.

Lucky are those who took the chance of purchasing Bitcoin at $28k.
Even if it's a risky choice, the possibility of bouncing back up is still higher than being dumped after a dump.
This price is where it started before Elon Musk started bombarding Twitter about buying Bitcoin.
So I guess this is where it should also stay. Any price that goes lower at $30k is a good entry point for new investors.

I didn't expect bitcoin to go lower again, but today I see the movement has stabilized and is starting to move to the positive. maybe in the next few weeks bitcoin will start to bounce back, although not much. but this is an opportunity to reinvest.

If we look at the steady movement of Bitcoin above $30k right now, I agree it's very lucky for people who managed to buy Bitcoin at $28k.
Since there is a very small chance the Bitcoin price will drop below $28k, I am optimistic that in the next few weeks the Bitcoin price will try
to pass the $40k price. And if it is achieved, Bitcoin should have a bull run until the end of the year and can reach the target price of $100k,
which many people have predicted.

Holding will be the medicine for all the time. The price of bitcoin won't reach the below market like 20k dollars. Do you think, the price will reduced half the time. Their won't be that much in bitcoin price. When the price tough the value of 30k, the buyers will push it and increase the price again above 35k dollars.

do you really think about it? Seems too much in my opinion mate. And 11k is like another massive decline in the market if bitcoin fall down to that price. Just imagine from 30k above to that price which is 11k what a big difference. For me as long bitcoin still showing strong support it will never go dip wherein it will keep holding until market become fine.

That is the strong support that I'm seeing right now. The $20,000 since it is the previous strong resistance back in 2017.

TBH, I believe that the $28,000 price of Bitcoin will be the lowest but.. everything can happen. A negative tweet of Elon Musk might push Bitcoin to even lower prices (Fuck Elon). With what is happening right now though, I believe that Bitcoin will go sideways at around the $30,000 to $40,000 price range. I'm just holding Bitcoin until now and I don't have any spare money to use in order to add some Bitcoins to my holdings. I will just sell it at the price that I already set. Will not sell at this moment as I don't have any big reasons to sell right now. :)

It's true, even the guesses of the experts we can't fully believe because the predictions are still certain to pass and it becomes the average, but at least we can read the chart and some sentiments can be combined in which direction the market will go this will also more precise even though it doesn't fit, but in a technical way it's much better than other wild guesses that only rely on numbers.
But what I see is the $30k+ path is going to be the longest point and we know this is up and down from the previous sentiment.
But we should be able to play an important role in this I think it's been up and down at $30k.

I agree.
No range is impossible for Bitcoin to reach. May it be on a bearish market or bull market.
Some wants the price to fall, so it can be a great time for accumulation. While some doesn't want the price to fall as it'll stress them out.
You have a good point in specifying the huge crash from the last ATH to it's current price.
However, as the huge crash just happened with more than 50% price correction, the market might be in a consolidation period and couldn't fall further down for more than 60%.
Nevertheless, we're all just speculating anyway.

For me, the lowest would be around $25,000.

It's not about how low bitcoin can go. But rather how many coins you would accumulated when market crash. It's pointless if you didn't buy or even scared when crash come but won't buy anything. It's same like 2018 when people bought btc at $19k which ATH on that time, many people calling them stupid and anything but if they HODL until now, they are still on profit eventhough they have bought at ATH price on 2018

I don't think Bitcoin will go any lower than $20k anytime soon. That's the "bottom" for Bitcoin right now. After the next halving event, things will no longer be the same. People will miss out an opportunity of a lifetime of getting cheap Bitcoin once it goes all the way to the moon. Imagine if Bitcoin goes to $100k. Current prices will be no longer feasible unless something catastrophic happens by then.

By all means, no one can tell how much Bitcoin will be worth in the future. All we can do is speculate with the hopes of seeing our dreams come true someday. The lower Bitcoin goes, the better it'll be to stack up some more coins for the future. Only smart people will understand that there's more to Bitcoin than meets the eye. Today's low is $20k, but tomorrow it could be different. As long as you buy and sell at the right time, you'll have nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts ;D

In the near term this may be true, but I'm not sure if bitcoin will be able to stay above $20K until the end of 2021. If bitcoin break the $30K support level again, then I believe the price can drop lower until it reach $25K. But all the time, we're actually seeing something that's really hard to predict. The strong fundamental are currently supporting bitcoin to stay afloat at the $30K+ level.

While we would only imagine that bitcoin will trade above $100k in the future though it would be quite possible if we see how it hit $65k earlier. But I still want the price to come down just to buy some. LOL

While we would only imagine that bitcoin will trade above $100k in the future though it would be quite possible if we see how it hit $65k earlier. But I still want the price to come down just to buy some. LOL
Everyone is looking forward to see a major correction rather than seeing the price holding above $30k, i missed out the opportunity to invest which i was planning for a long time due to the pandemic and it messed up my entire perception as the market rallied faster than the rest of the rallies we had after the halving and if the price goes down before the next rally i would be happy to invest as i am still expecting the market to move well in a few months.

I think $20K or lower is possible though it is sad to see bitcoin will go down to this low price but it is really possible. I mean any value is possible for bitcoin but for now a $30k -$35k market price resistance of bitcoin obviously struggling and as I remember bitcoin price hit already below $30k last time. Also there are some speculations that the probable huge market price drop of bitcoin will surely coming as we are approaching on the bearish months.
Remember that just because there is a resistance doesn't mean that there isn't support neither. If you keep seeing the price going up and fail to go up even more so it goes back down and try to go up again, that means meanwhile it fails to go down as well.

For example, right now we are going between 30k and 40k, and yes you can look at the current situation and say something like "bitcoin is failing to go over 40k" and you will be right, but you will be ignoring the fact that it is also not going under 30k neither, did it just once and bounced right back up very quickly. So if you think that price failing to go 40k means it will drop, at the same time some other person can look at it and say that it is failing to go under 30k so it will go up as well. You both would be equally right because nobody knows what bitcoin will do, we just try to guess it and that's it, it will not go up or down because of one thing, it will just do whatever market says it should.

I hope we’ve already seen the bottom of the China induced correction. I’m not feeling too confident about the price at the moment though. It just feels like big players are desperate to see the price go lower. I’m desperate to see the trend reverse & restart the bull run.

I'm less sure that bitcoin will go down again, I'm more confident that it will slowly bounce back. lately we have read a lot on the news that many investors will switch to bitcoin and see bitcoin a very good investment.

I would still prefer to hold instead of selling my asset, and if the price goes down below $30k again I won't hesitate to accumulate my asset quantity. We need to act quick this time, don't miss every chance that's going to initiate randomly. For next couple of months, I believed recovery starts to amaze all of us so we need to embrace the profit that we've been longing for years.

Do you mean like elon musk?

In my opinion it will only destroy the bitcoin market if a rich person like elon musk can control the market with the wealth he has, we can see how now elon musk manipulates the market with the influence he has and whenever he wants of course he can make the market direction follow he desires, that's why it's too risky if we expect someone rich to have influence in crypto, maybe when he buys of course the price goes up and when he sells all his assets won't that destroy the price of bitcoin later?

When we know the exact bottom price, we are no longer an investor, we have officially taken over the market and controlled it in our hands but quite unfortunately until now, we are mostly still starting as investors, determining the bottoms can only be based on supporting tools and here, the daily signal shows us how much bitcoin is moving and it is clearly inconsistent, a few days will be bullish but a few days will be bearish. For position shifts of such a style, we only try to observe mainly, unable to make a completely suitable estimate.

So far, your estimates, which I'm also afraid of, won't happen, if it happens to drop to $20K, of course it's a disaster that's hard to get up again. bitcoin has been around for a long time at current prices like this because the prices are stable. let bitcoin be able to prepare itself to wait for the time to be able to gain momentum to make it a stepping stone to increase in the end.

actually the price received by bitcoin has not moved too much in the $29K-$40K range and it's been going on for a long time and when it goes down it won't take long to go up again. this movement has been consistent so far and it should be easy to determine what we are going to do. so we can be sure the bitcoin market price is very stable.

At this moment, it's not good to hold bitcoin if you are aiming to increase your holding.

I would agree with some investors who think of selling their bitcoin and just bought back when bitcoin dump.
With the current movement of bitcoin, it's possible that we will dump below $30k and worse is it will dip until $10k.

That could be too low since we got $60k, but based on history and its trend, it's not impossible.

At the moment BTC has many technical possibilities of giving itself a very good move, in fact some analysts, the most optimistic, are talking that it could possibly reach $ 41k, which would not fall badly, it would be one of the best things they can do. occur in the market, if the whole bullish scenario occurs I think it can reach this target, in fact this analysis proves it:

https://i.imgur.com/lydVZkv.png
Quote
BTC had to surpass some short-term hurdles in an attempt to reclaim $41,000, but the indicators did tilt towards a bullish outcome. However, traders must be cautious of getting too optimistic. If the next wave of selling pressure drags BTC below the $33,000 mark, its bullish setup would be negated.
Source: https://ambcrypto.com/when-can-bitcoin-reclaim-41000/ (https://ambcrypto.com/when-can-bitcoin-reclaim-41000/)

Due to this I do not think that BTC now makes movements below $ 30k, however, you have to be moderate with respect to the corresponding investment, it is necessary to highlight that now BTC what many expect is to be able to reach $ 100k according to the model S2F.

It could go to $10k but it will eventually go back up. It really depends on many economic factors. It always goes back up, as long as the internet is around.

I like when you said "it will goes back up" it's make me feel comfy, and the fact is like what you said above. The price will goes up and down depend on market supply and demand, with some issues and rumors, BTC will always goes up. IMHO no one can resist the existing of bitcoin and his technology, it's just about time when it will explode.

I agree on that I still expecting that btc will soon rise up to 100k$ at the end of this year. Bitcoin will never fall back to 20k$ and in the near future 200k$ is easy for bitcoin as a new ATH. We are now in a modern world with a modern technology so there is a big possibility that soon many more people will used bitcoin and it will make the bitcoin price up.

In my opinion, the market price of bitcoin was not like to drop below 30k$ because for me that was just too low for the price of 1 bitcoin, I would definitely buy one when the market price drop below even at 25k$ because the potential profit in the future of this kind of investment was just too high. Below 20k$ was just impossible because people just see how bitcoin could explode when it surpasses the old ATH record around 20k$ so probably there will be a lot of experience traded that will hold it for sure.

Probably it could stay a few months up to ber months but might be even more, we just don't know the even time it could easily happen, but I'm not gonna be surprised will be bitcoin price drop below 30k$ or even if it exploded to 70k$-100k$ in the coming months because we all know how bitcoin is different in another cryptocurrency I think it will reach even 200k$ at the end of the year.

bitcoin was hit by a barrage of bad news, causing many to be insecure, to take inappropriate actions. resulted in bitcoin experiencing a very deep correction. fortunately there are still those who remain loyal and survive, to be able to hold back the rate of bitcoin so that it doesn't fall even more.

Your hope is of course the trend of turning away from bitcoin is eagerly awaited by many crypto fans to be able to happen again. by starting to set up to move up even though it may take quite a while, to be able to make bitcoin able to regain momentum to lead to improvement. of course we will see this after Q3, until the end of this year bitcoin will increase again.

I believe that it was bound to happen and news wasn't the real reason for it. I feel like we have gone up so much that we were dealing with very thin layer of protection and we were in a bubble price, 64k in a year after we reached below 4k in 2020 as bottom didn't look like healthy increase. So yeah, the news did broke out and the price went down afterwards and some tweets by Elon and some other stuff, but they were all "reason" for people to get out of a market that looked too bubbly.

You do not drop 50% in under a week just because of some news, there were bad news before and it didn't impacted the price to drop 50% total, that wasn't the case, however this time around it was not because the news was big, we always get bad news, but only because price was at a place where support couldn't hold it anymore. That is the real reason why we went low if you ask me.

And price should never define whether it's time for BTC to shut down. I mean price volatility has always been associated with the crypto markets and if you are deciding the future of crypto just after a bear run, then it shows we still don't trust bitcoin and the mechanism.

Guys remember the governments would have banned crypto by now if they were able to but just like you cannot ban people signing in their bathrooms, you cannot ban people from transacting crypto even after a ban has been imposed.

The crypto market just needs some faith and trust from us, some of us have made a life out of bitcoins and at least when the market is down and outsiders are trying to kill it, we as a community should show some trust in our currency. Bitcoin was made for the people and if people don't trust it, then it cannot last forever.

I think Bitcoin will definitely rise. It should not be possible to reach $10k. Because a lot of people saying be patient, just hold, keep patient, but the question is if they are doing this? Probably, not and they are just doing this to give some false hope to the others.

If the market will dump again like you said $20k or below, it can be temporary for sure but we can never expect that it recovers so fast.
Well, Bitcoin will go for long-term, no doubt for that. Investors took the advantage of buying Bitcoin it is because they have some faith and trust even though they never know how long this Bitcoin could still exist.

Although have the same question to since I don't know if those people who told to hold is really a holder or they just want hype up and let other experience on what will be the possible result of holding for long term.

Bitcoin right now is really driving me nuts. Its like bitcoin is spitting on the charts. Man, I can't even trust my own technical analysis nowadays which worked really great for quite some time. Either I am just dumb with TA along with a lot of other traders or someone or a group of people are counter trading other traders to liquidate them. Well, all I can do is speculate as of the moment. Bitcoin right now is still struggling so much to get over that 200ma and seems to follow the max pain. But I really don't know anymore if I should trust the crap I see on the charts.

The thing I can only do right now is hedge to assess my losses. I'm glad though that I let go of my altcoins back then when the price of bitcoin was still at 38k-ish. Although I suffered a bit of a loss, at least only a little compared to how much I would have lost if I never sold. At least right now I have funds to rebuy and reduce my losses in btc and be able to buyback those alts cheaper this time.

Worse case, Bitcoin can go as low as $8k with a long-lasting bear market. With China banning Bitcoin miners and Elon Musk criticizing its high energy consumption, anything can happen within the next months. We should be prepared for the worst by selling Bitcoin when it's bullish and buying more coins when it goes all the way down the drain. I usually exchange my Bitcoin to stablecoins whenever I see the opportunity to prevent losses with wild fluctuations in price.

No matter how low Bitcoin goes within the short term, it'll always be a valuable cryptocurrency because of its deflationary model. Long-term speaking, Bitcoin should be heading north of $60k per coin. Price doesn't matter as long as you buy and sell at the right time. You'll achieve peace of mind in the long run if you play your cards right. Just my opinion :)

I'm never worried about what is happening with the market now, and if there's a worse case scenario will come, then it's okay as I've already seen it in the past. Maybe it's time to conclude that the rest of the year will be bearish, so that way we will be able to make a decision on how to handle the situation that we will still benefit.

Well, that seems to be possible as the market is unpredictable but as what it had shown after China's statement towards mining (Banning), that only it gives a little impact on the trend, we experience short declines but the market able to recover and have a steady market price. What I think is that the investors and traders are already preparing for this worse possible scenario and they keep themselves calm, with no indications of panic selling unlike before. I think, we had learn from the past and this why the market price remains healthy.

Most people are worried because of a lack of experience and knowledge. You should first educate yourself. Don't give up, and keep moving forward. I think Bitcoin might move up to 36k within a few days. This is just my opinion. If you need advice, please do not take it, but watch BTC movement closely.
Any weakness in the broader market or a reduction in liquidity can lead to a sharp decline in Bitcoin, and this will make some investors and new traders panic so they sell their bitcoins, I agree as you say, because when the bitcoin price peaks in price some a long time ago, many people started to switch to crypto investments, especially bitcoin without having sufficient knowledge, and as a result when the bitcoin price fell like it is now of course they would panic very much because they experienced losses and eventually sell their assets to cut losses so as not to get caught in losses what's even deeper, they actually don't realize the panic selling bitcoins actually makes the bitcoin price fall even more badly.

In my opinion, what we see on the charts is not a bear market yet, but only a temporary correction. I think if the price doesn't drop below $28k for the next month, we should see an increase and a march for new ATH.
However, if it is start of the bear market, I'm sure the price could dive below $10k. In my opinion, you should expect 90% drop from ATH, which is even up to $6k

Bear market already hit us that's why we see a major price decrease after it hits a record breaking ATH this year although bitcoin price is now recovering but we cannot say  that we are in safezone now since there's still possibilities that market will be  shaken off if there are more fuds came. But we shouldn't be worried about those since as long as we can see the price looks promising at $33k the future is bright for it.  But I really hope we cannot see that $10k price you predicted.

No one knows the lowest level the Bitcoin market will reach before continuing it bullish trend to the top. The market has a lot of ways in deciding it direction which is difficult most time to analyze accurately but sometimes their is always a good tendency of guessing the market right when using the right tools and information, not just looking at the market with a partial view or carrying out trivial analysis that would not be able to give good result.

Speculating Bitcoin price accurately needs a lot of works and it takes a  knowledgeable mind to assertain the least shallow price of Bitcoin before a turning point exceeding it highest level. Well I could estimate that the price is going to reach below $20k  and then ranging for a while before determining it next trend which I believe it would continue the normal bullish trend.

The market is ranging now to gain strength to go more bearish, breaking the $20k level consolidating before going bullish. More investors that bought Bitcoin at $65k level would have been in big loses now, which I expect some to rather sell their Bitcoin when it reaches $50k again and bear their loses then prepare to for the next Bearish consolidation of the market.

I do not think that it will go down under 10k even if we are in a bear market after this, even if the price goes down it will not go down under 10k, it may go down under 20k which is the bare minimum what I think it will happen, a price like 14-16k levels would be the bare minimum it could reach, under 10k is way too much packed right now and in order to do that we need to have nearly a million bitcoins sold without anyone buying at the current prices until that time which we all know there will be a lot of buyers coming up after that but let's assume that is negated by all the new sellers added as well, who can really believe that we could sell nearly million (more like 700k) bitcoins sold in the next few months to drop the price to around 4-5k once again? I really do not think that it will happen and that is why I am not really that much worried.

I could see Bitcoin touching $20,000, but not lower in the next 3-5 years. Even in an extended market downturn, I just don't see it happening. There is too much mone out there to prop it up if needed during rough patches.

Therefore it is very important before deciding to buy Bitcoin, we must really understand how Bitcoin works. If we invest in something that we
do not understand, then we will panic seeing the current market. Because people who invest in Bitcoin without experience and knowledge will
definitely worry and panic seeing the current Bitcoin price. So some people finally decided to do a cutloss, fearing the price of Bitcoin will drop
even lower. My advice never buy Bitcoin because of other people's advice, but always do your own research and analysis before deciding to
invest in Bitcoin. Hopefully your predictions come true, that Bitcoin can return to the price of $ 36k, in order to help boost investors confidence.

Right this moment I think BTC is back on its way up not down but the extent of that travel is not known to me and its just a feeling of direction near term mostly.   Overall we can still make a grander low and again this can be a serious development or a kind of flush out move that retrospectively looks like a pin candle that retracted quickly after right back up, in the moment many will sell not knowing.
I wouldnt expect it exactly but wild movements could be as far as 15k possibly, this is not a settled price but an intra day volatile trading movement and it can be back to 25k within that same day also though it would shake many that it happened at all.

I don't think anything will happen to what you say, because bitcoin has already passed that with bad news and @elonmusk ravings. now bitcoin is in a stable state and preparing for momentum to rise and hopefully a lot of good news will boost it. leave @elonmusk with his ramblings and don't believe, that's enough.

Expect the unexpected and its always been like this because this market is never been predictable ever since so its just normal that we do really have these kind of days where bitcoin can break out resistances
or does move sideways  and how many times we have seen these similar situation in the past? Its been countless and it could possibly move without those news or fundamentals because everything could
really be depending on the demand which isnt something new. How long will Bitcoin would go up? No one knows but asking out the potential then we are sure that it would really be able to surprise us
in regards to that but theres no specific time for that.

News greatly affects the movement of bitcoin and positive news will increase the price of bitcoin and vice versa, and in my opinion if there is a decrease in the price of bitcoin it will not be too drastic.
patience is very important in the current situation of bitcoin movement and it only takes time for the bitcoin price to rise and I am still optimistic that the increase will occur gradually in the near future ;D

The price of BTC has been very volatile, in fact it has been driven by bearish lops, in fact many think that it will drop to $ 31k, of course it is a matter of waiting, sometimes the opposite happens in the market:

https://i.imgur.com/rj16yJf.png
Quote
The 20-day EMA has started to turn down again and the relative strength index (RSI) has dropped below 45, indicating that bears are attempting to gain the upper hand. A break and close below $31,000 will be the first sign of the possible resumption of the downtrend.

The selling could intensify further if the $28,000 support cracks. That could result in long liquidation, which may pull the price down to $20,000.

It is likely that the bulls are waiting for the most suitable moment to defer the positions, I do not think it will drop below the $ 30k level, however it is necessary to have peace of mind at this time.

Exactly. Bitcoin is still struggling to get past the $35k mark. If this keeps up, prices could be heading south within such a short amount of time. There's practically no positive news at the moment that would spark demand for BTC on the market. China's Bitcoin miner ban, and Tesla's departure from Bitcoin as payment method are affecting Bitcoin's price negatively. Despite this, Bitcoin's halving should make price soar towards new heights in the long term. One thing for sure is that Bitcoin will never head back to $35k a decade from now. Buying Bitcoin while it's still "cheap" now may be the smartest decision you could make. Always remember to buy low and sell high in order to protect yourself from volatility. As long as you do that, you'll have nothing to worry about. Just my opinion :)

I also think that the current decline in bitcoin prices has not yet reached the bottom of the price, so there is still the possibility of a deeper price decline if there is no positive sentiment that will push bitcoin prices to rise again, now the market is really falling due to the ban from the state. China and it may take a few more months for the market to recover later.

For an investor with enough knowledge and experience, I would say you are definitely telling the truth. I'm never worried about what is happening with the market now, and if there's a worse case scenario will come, then it's okay as I've already seen it in the past. Maybe it's time to conclude that the rest of the year will be bearish, so that way we will be able to make a decision on how to handle the situation that we will still benefit.

People who are worried about the current market are usually newbies, because for people who have knowledge and experience, of course

Which is completely natural as this is not only about experience but also about the fact that those that bought years ago bought for a price below 10k and are not worried if bitcoin goes below 30k at all, but for the newbies that bought above 40k what is happening with the market is a form of torture, but they must endure it as we all have gone through the same process and only the ones that keep holding can receive any kind of meaningful profits out of this market.

People who last year bought Bitcoin at a price below $ 10k in my opinion are convinced of the future of Bitcoin, because not all investors dare to
do that. But it is evident that people who bought Bitcoin last year for under $10k, this year is very lucky, because the profit generated is very large.
So they are not worried about the current condition of the Bitcoin price, but newbies must panic to see the current market has not recovered.
And finally many newbies are selling Bitcoin at the current price, even though if they are patient, there is a possibility that the price of Bitcoin will
rise and can provide a large profit. Actually, the key to successful investment in Bitcoin is just patience, people who can be patient in
the current conditions will be winners.

I agree on that for those who buy bitcoin in a low price before and hold till the price rise up to 60k$ ATH has earn a huge amount of profit. But I believe that we need to do a lot of sacrifices before we can hold bitcoin for a very long time. Holding sounds simple but for the ordinary investors it is really hard to hold specially when we experience shortening of funds because of the pandemic. So i think it is always depends on the investors itself and the situation in the crypto market.

No one knows how long the market will continue to deteriorate like this, because short-term sentiment seems as if the bitcoin price is already at its lowest level right now, but bitcoin price movements which are still often experiencing price consolidation could of course make the bitcoin price decline again to a lower price, and now a lot of market analysis is saying if the price of bitcoin has not been at its lowest point and the possibility of a strong bitcoin liquidity at $30K is broken then it could be that the price of bitcoin will go to a price of $25K, because in the last few weeks bitcoin's strongest wall is at $30K so it often makes the price of bitcoin rebound.

We are in a crucial stage, I guess most of us think that bitcoin will drop below $30k anytime soon since the market movement is so bearish. IMO, it's possible and I would not really be surprised as we have witnessed this many times and the bear market would usually take longer after a bull run.

Take that $25k, it's still a great price but the moment it will drop $20k, I guess there's a big accumulation that will happen as whales will take advantage on that as some investors are panicking.

Big investors are pressuring the strong bitcoin price, because they are waiting for bitcoin to fall at the lowest price. great opportunity for them to buy bitcoins at very low prices and start reinvesting huge sums. that's their game and you could say this is their business strategy.

so we don't have to worry about bitcoin falling at a very low price, because bitcoin needs to refill its fuel to fly to the moon.

We have lot chance to see btc dropping to $25k. I remember, btc reached its all time height to $21k in April 2017 and fell back to $4k which was almost 75% drop. Then the recent $61k set up a new height. It has dropped to 50% now to $31k. But I dont think it would drop more than 65% as the recent crypto market has brought in more investors. Though the manipulation is on whale's hands, lets hope btc do not drop below $25k.

And this time I'm expecting this fall to reach even a lower level than $29k. And I must admit that the bear market is always really boring.  ;D  I've missed the bull market already now.

With China banning Bitcoin miners and Elon Musk criticizing its high energy consumption, the market price of bitcoin will as low as 10k$ .Pls prepare for the worst ,There is a long-lasting bear market.
I don't understand what is your last reason? when relying only on Elon and Fud china,... Bitcoin will not fall to 10k$, it will never happen. The market is still reacting well to volume from Grayscale trusts, it certainly won't prolong this melancholy. Highest risk if we are disadvantaged at 30k, then 28k then stop is 24k. Forget the past, it won't repeat that fun.

Right now things are not looking good, the price is below the 32k level and this is a problem as we are closer to the 30k level than we are of the 40k level, if people fail to defend the 30k level then who knows how low the price will go as people will panic and will begin to sell their coins for a really bad price, but if people really believe in bitcoin they have no other option but to endure this, it is difficult I am not going to lie as I was here when the market crashed in 2017 and it was hard, but it is necessary so we can keep forming part of this market.

The current support now is $30k, if that support will give up, then we might see a big fall again dropping from $30k to $20k is such big news and it will certainly create panic. Some investors are just here for the hype, specifically the bull run, but it seems the bull run is over, so they have no interest here but to withdraw their money with loses and come back next bull run which might happen again years from now.

The $30k is crucial but if ever it cannot sustain that level it will open a good opportunity to investors who are looking for a dip, I'm sure many investors are ready to buy when weak hands started to sell their shares, we need not worry when there are dumpers, there are always takers and these takers will be the lucky one.

Will we likely see Bitcoin heading back to sub $20k prices?
I think the Bitcoin price can be around $20k again in the early of the next year, 2022. In my opinion, bullish will be over after 2021 ends, then the Bitcoin price will drop massively. There is a chance for Bitcoin to drop to $20k or even below $20k once the bearish season comes. I am not really sure how far the Bitcoin price will drop exactly, but $20k is very possible.

Do you plan to buy more Bitcoin and "hodl" strong?
For now, I am afraid to buy more. I prefer to hold my existing Bitcoin. I hope the price will grow up again around $40k-$50k, then I plan to sell my Bitcoin. I am sure Bitcoin price still has a chance to increase again before the upcoming bearish season.

The price went below the 30k level for some time but once again people have defend it, right now there is a great fight among the bears and the bulls, the bears know that if they can break away from that level in a permanent way they are going to force a lot of people to capitulate and they will sell their coins and this will create another panic and a new correction will come, so far we have been able to resist their attacks but next time we may not be that lucky.

There are lots of uncertainty when bitcoins price did really hit down or when it do plays or hover around 29-30k where people had presuming out that the price could go down even more.
It is indeed the support on which bears didnt really succeed on taking it down below but we cant still that sure because anytime it could really drop or maybe just some fake pullback
in price and might showing some last rise before the disaster. Nothing is assured and since there are no news or fundamentals around then its really hard to determine
on where the price could actually go.

Just recently, we already touch the level of $20k, so it's not impossible that in the next few days we would really dip at that price again. The price has bounced back a bit, but just like the previous movement, it will still go down because we are already in the bearish market.

We touched $29k, probably the lowest this year, so what price could be the next drop?

It's true that most of those who know crypto are for long-term investments
How do you know about this? In my opinion, it is difficult to know what most people do with their crypto assets. One person can do both, whether to hold for a long term or short term. Or even, he can do trading as well.

we are happy if all payments can be made in bitcoin but without government acceptance this is difficult to happen
What are you referring to? I think without government acceptance, we still can use Bitcoin for payment purposes. But it probably cannot be applied to all places in the world. In my country, you cannot buy any single goods by using BTC. But I can buy some goods on the internet located outside of my country by using BTC.

Current price as of this moment $32,220 its a gradual increase compared a few days ago which does indicate for some rejection? Possibly!

How low bitcoin could possibly hit? No one knows because i do make myself convinced that Bitcoin price doesnt follow any technicals precisely no matter how good it is.

Actually its hard to tell when we are seeing moving sideways in terms into its price. It cant be determined on where it would be heading next.

A little bounce back doesn't mean bitcoin will go up or pump, we are still experiencing a bearish sentiment and the bearish market will win despite a little bounce back. I believe bitcoin will not even reach $35k and in the next few days, we will again see bitcoin trading below $30k. It's hard to go against the trend, the trend now is bearish, so just don't bet against it, instead appreciate it by accumulating bitcoins.

Although I'm very happy that Bitcoin managed to rise again to the price of $32k, which previously fell below the $30k price. It is true that this
small increase cannot guarantee Bitcoin will pump, the current increase is still too early to be assessed. Because there is still a possibility that
Bitcoin prices will fall again, we still have to be vigilant and continue to monitor Bitcoin movements. As long as Bitcoin has not managed to rise
above the $40k price, Bitcoin has not returned to a bullish trend.

That's right, bro, the price of $ 27,000 is a price that has finally fallen and has now reached $ 3 2,562 ( market binance ) at its current condition. lately there are many positive issues circulating, it is possible that bitcoin will be pumped again in the near future.
many assume bitcoin will go down again, but I think bitcoin in this week will not go down and will continue to move slowly. I predict next week bitcoin will be above $ 40,000 and dare to believe.

Too early to say that in my opinion, there's still about 6 months or so left in the year and it could go much lower but given that there's more positive news floating around regarding cryptocurrency market this month, I feel like @usernameyaya might be right that it's the final floor for the market prices this year.

Where do you know the Bitcoin price won't be less than $27k? Do you analyze it yourself or get the information from a Bitcoin expert? I am very curious about the reason you said this. If you are speaking seriously, please give us the proof that it is not a shit statement. I doubt if someone can predict the bottom price of Bitcoin in the future. Even Satoshi probably will have difficulty determining the future price of Bitcoin. It is purely determined by the demands although sometimes there is a manipulation issue.

Must be his personal opinion, and even an opinion coming from an expert, we should not believe them especially if they'll guarantee a price as bitcoin is so volatile and it's very unpredictable. You'll see it pump big time today, the next day it will dump, that's how the market moves, I've never seen bitcoin having an uptrend for a long period of time, it's usually short then correction comes right after.

Is this a typo? Because the price of bitcoin has not gone anywhere those levels for quite sometime, or maybe this happened due a to a flash crash in a particular exchange? Anyway I am content that the price of bitcoin was defended and did not go as low, but the bears are looking for any opening and they are still tying to make the price to go lower, fortunately we are now farther away from the critical 30k level but the bears will not relent so easily and we are bound to see more of the same during the next weeks.

I believe, what he meant is $30k, not the $20k level. Because we haven't touched that yet.
And after a month the OP posted this thread, we are now again going up, touching again the $35k level.
Seems that we will be heading again to $40k, which is actually great.
However, you need to keep your eyes open as one bad news, it may go down again.

It has now touched $40k in a short time so I think it will be easy to go back to 40k I hope tonight to hit $50k as a safe point.

The pumping will continue I think the bullrun will come again and the market will recover completely so I think it is necessary to observe the market further at what point to take this profit.
And I will not wait for the price to be too high sometimes like to correct the market price again.

I think that the lowest value that Bitcoin will fall to is $25k in this bear market. We should be prepared for the price to go down under $30k very soon. It's imminent. And this time I'm expecting this fall to reach even a lower level than $29k. And I must admit that the bear market is always really boring.  ;D  I've missed the bull market already now.

Looks like the price of $ 25k will not be reached again, now the price of bitcoin is around $ 38k and I'm sure before august the price of bitcoin can reach at least $ 42k, this further proves that bitcoin is the most profitable investment.

It might reach above $40k again, but it's still crucial if it can break that price. Seeing a big pump today is just amazing, after the struggle of bitcoin, here we are again seeing a bullish market, already at 14% increase now (24h) and bitcoin is trading at $39k. Let's watch closely and make the decision now whether we ride or take this as just a bull trap only.

Already it has proven it to be the trusted investment of all time through its growth. There often happens unexpected growth. What we have been experiencing by now too is the same. The price was closed around $30000, and today it is nearing $39k. This growth won't happen anywhere else, other than the cryptocurrency. This itself enough to assure bitcoin is good investment, but low value to be touched now isn't gonna happen.

After all, speculation is about someone having their own opinion. It is from our opinions that the picture of the entire cryptocurrency market is formed. Just by reading your statements, I can judge whether the moods in the market are negative or positive.

Now you've said that, you have reaffirmed my determination we can still make 20k.     But seriously if price upwards like this garners interest and enthusiasm but fails to capture the positive action meeting old resistance and determined sellers for any reason it can later lead to greater negatives and I'm waiting to see if that scenario occurs or not still.
The latest news I've heard is Amazon deny any usage of BTC will be occurring.   I dont think that it cant become true in time but its no surprise that Amazon does not want to confirm some project that was only ever meant to be internal, of course companies will explore all kinds of avenues and product innovations that never actually release to the public so I'm not sure we do see BTC on Amazon this year or even next.   This gives us plenty of time to resume negatively, not that I rate the news as the sole driver of price but those events would match what I think is possible now and hence the bottom pricing is not yet certain imo.

For now the market has given a spectacular bullish rally, many are hoping it could go to $ 40k. But you have to wait, do not rush, for now the market is responding very well:

If bulls arrest the subsequent decline above $36,670, the pair could trade in the upper half of the large trading range between $30,000 to $42,451.67. A break above $42,451.67 will signal the possible start of a new uptrend.

These movements are giving us important information, as you can see that the bulls are taking the ground they had lost, the bears this time are beginning to hide, it is likely that the supply is decreasing.

If you're talking about the 'opinion' of every individual in this thread, beyond the predictions mentioned on google or youtube about Bitcoin's rock-bottom drop, it makes everyone's mind.

For me:
For 2021, Bitcoin's lowest price is around $30,000, I don't think this year it's below $25,000, the chances of going up to $40,000 are very strong, my personal assessment one or two years from now Bitcoin will stand at $ 10,000 possibly even lower, the lowest price.

Next year from the price of $ 10,000 will crawl back and continue to rise through to the level of $ 100,000, it's all based on my thoughts.

Of course, as I said everyone has their own opinion in this matter...

$30k may be the bottom, as there are many bulls buying coins like crazy. Thanks to Elon Musk's praise towards crypto/Blockchain tech, crypto assets like Bitcoin and Dogecoin have experience a huge increase in demand. I'd be surprised if Bitcoin sinks deeper until it becomes worth $20k per coin. That would be the best opportunity to buy Bitcoin at a discount before it goes all the way to $60k. After that, Bitcoin will be on a road towards new ATHs probably reaching $100k within 2-3 years from now.

Exactly how low will Bitcoin go is a mystery. It's important to always secure profits whenever possible just in case everything goes down the drain. As long as there's institutional demand for Bitcoin, it'll only go higher in price as years go by. Just my opinion :)

Since this was yesterday's conversation Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey there may have been some increased demand so bitcoin is now at $40k, a price below $30k might be support again and some investors believe it is already a low price, and don't think about whether this $20k will the price be lower than expected to buy a lot? Everything is still in good condition, and there are still many requests from institutions that cause the entire market to increase, well there is also a connection because for this person still holding crypto in his wallet and believing in crypto technology.

I think $27K is the final destination.  Maybe no one knows how much the price of bitcoin will go down, but 27k USD is the bottom, andthe price will  not be less than that.

No one knows if bitcoin can get past the highs or will drop again, now the price is around $39k, and i'm optimistic this is a good opportunity to keep holding, investors must have the courage to take risks, and hold is the best we can do because seeing market situation.

This might be the end of the low in medium term many think there will be no further low this year I'm undecided as I'd say a flush out rapid bottom then reversal is more reliable as a show of negative price action ending.
However it can dip in the next days or week I think is the opinion of some traders I've seen and there is some downtrend to meet and beat here; this is coming down from the selling right at the top and is to be expected sooner or later in standard profit taking by traders.

This is a messy chart but I didnt really want to draw it too tightly as its an only an approximate scenario I redrew recently.    The blue line is just 2 day average matching our fast momentum, there is no pattern of lower highs to match that downtrend we seem to have exceeded it but from experience it can pull us back down I think.

This year there is very less chance of price dropping low than $30k. I have a personal opinion about the low bottom price of bitcoin. During the previous bull market the price took a forward move from the $5000 range. Once after reaching ath it dropped low to $5000 range. Same as that now we've seen the price of bitcoin reach $65k from the price around $20k. With this coincidence I believe the price to reach bottom $20k by the falling year.

Not that really mindful about patterns or similar things because every movement would really be totally in random therefore following some patterns is a bit off  and wont really be that reliable.
Increments on that ranges are bit random but we could really have our own personal observations and would really be making out significant step or action basing on what we had noticed
or experienced butt one things for sure that nothing is assured even though we havent seen that bitcoin hadnt able to break that 30k support and instead making out some
recovery or reversal but we dont know if its just a fake one or not.

We already witnessed how bitcoin tried to go towards the dip, and yet there's no significant issues correlate with bear market. Every attempt provides a lot of opportunity to interested traders and investors. So right now, we must keep an eye on the market because resistance of the bear stated to weakened these days. The price broke at $40k the last time I seen the pump, and definitely we need to wait for further updates which targets $45k to $50k during recovery period.

I'm wondering how low will Bitcoin go in price within the next couple of months? Will we likely see Bitcoin heading back to sub $20k prices?
It is a difficult thing to know, even no expert can predict it at a certain price. We don't know whether the Bitcoin price can drop again below $20k or it will go up again above $60k. The Bitcoin price is purely unpredictable, to discuss the possibility of $20k for Bitcoin price is just wasting time. I suggest we are better focused on the current situation in Bitcoin price. Since it is increasing, there will be a chance for Bitcoin price to grow up. Now, it is a good time to buy, the bullish may come back again and the Bitcoin price can continue to increase significantly.

We all hoping for the big rally this year but we probably saw the situation of the market these days, it dumps and recovers, it happens repeatedly. What we have heard and seen around has a hugely significant effect on the market trend and we often seeing this one a long time ago but asking "How low will Bitcoin go"? that actually be hard to answer. Lately, we reach $40k, but it was just a short stay, we are now back at $39k.

I think the downward trend in Bitcoin price is not over yet. In the short term, the price of bitcoin still has the potential to fall around 20-40% from its current position before it will reverse higher.
Therefore, for now you can make short-term trades, you can sell because the price will still be corrected, then you can wait until the bitcoin price drops to re-enter.

right, the current bitcoin price movement is still in a very difficult condition to predict, although in the last few days the bitcoin price has increased but it seems that the increase has not been able to strengthen the bitcoin price in the market, so the possibility of a price correction will still occur, even so in my opinion now the market still needs correction so that later the price can consolidate at the lows before moving higher, and hopefully in the future we can see bitcoin price return to a positive path and be able to break the resistance at $40K

A crash to 20k is possible but I do not think it is too likely, I think we are going to maintain the 30k level and at worst we will go below for a few hours before the price begins to recover which is exactly what we saw a week ago, the reason I think the 20k level is not going to be reached is that once again people are worried about the inflation and the pandemic that is still ongoing and when that happens people are looking for a store of value and right now the best store of value that we can hope to get is bitcoin which will most likely increase its price during the next months.

Bitcoin already maintains that level. Have you checked the current Bitcoin price on CoinGecko? It is already about $41,550. In the last 6 days (25-30), Bitcoin price already survived above $35k. Now, I assume Bitcoin will maintain $40k level. It is very possible, moreover if there will be good news related to Bitcoin or crypto as a whole in the upcoming days.

I do check the price but I was talking about the resistance level which is clearly at the 30k mark, that level can be pierced by the price of bitcoin once in a while but I doubt that we are going to go below that level for a significant amount of time and that is because we have a lot of investors that are not willing to let the price to go that low as that will affect them and the huge holdings of bitcoin that they have at the moment.

The support level currently has to be $25-30k that is when we  can say properly we have approached the bear cycle. You can see when it touched $27k if quickly rose back to $42k level and still dangling between there.

The ban from Chinese miners, statement from Elon Musk and different other things made the price of bitcoin crash. Further things started to move on the bullish side from the low bottom close to $29000. People expected for a $20k and even down. The market has shown good signs of growth and the same has happened within two weeks time. Maybe by 2022 we can see everything functional in a better way.

bitcoin is very volatile but for bitcoin to go back to $20k i think it's already impossible.  see how bitcoin price a few days ago went up to $40k+ after dropping to $29k.  forever we will look to bitcoin price volatility but the price of btc is no longer possible to be below $20k.  (btw, it's never too late to buy Bitcoin as long as the price is still under $100k imo)

I think that the lowest that the price can go is $ 28k and that is the most bearish that can happen if the bulls allow it, although at the moment I do not think so, for now the interruption of the bullish trend has no long-term influence, because it is still apparent that it is bullish.

Many are waiting for the price to reach $ 100k, but some are beginning to ensure that it is close to touching $ 80k in the medium term, this article states:

In the long term this scenario can occur, you just have to be patient, because in the short term things can become very bearish if the whales do not buy in the dip.

agree with your opinion, if it will happen to go down to $ 20K then, when the correction occurs it will be unstoppable and will go down towards it, but bitcoin is still holding on and finally able to hold it from happening. this is the time when bitcoin is indeed in a stable state to wait for momentum to move back up at the end of the year and this is not impossible because the year-end halving effect in the first and second periods has proven that. I may agree that there is still a chance for those who want to hold bitcoin because there could be a fantastic ATH formed at the end of this year.

true, these two sentiments were quite a blow to the bitcoin price in the market, and it didn't take long for the bitcoin price to fall quite deeply due to the two negative news, but fortunately the bitcoin price had a strong wall at the price of $28-30K at the time, so the bitcoin price did not fall too far from its highest price, but it seems that in the last week the price of bitcoin has started to slowly increase and hopefully the price will continue to strengthen and we can see new ATH will be created again later.

Many negative events in the mainstream world made Bitcoin's price to go all the way down drain. It's yet the time where Bitcoin is struggling to achieve a new ATH. The lowest Bitcoin can go is $30k, based on this year's performance. After the next halving, Bitcoin will never go back to being as cheap as it is right now. Mainstream media, governments, and central banks will try to destroy Bitcoin, but they'll fail altogether. Bitcoin will become much more valuable in the future, so the best thing you can do is buy more coins while they're cheap before it's too late. Just my thoughts ;D

Of course, trading in crypto must have sufficient knowledge and also need patience because if we get carried away by emotions when we see market conditions go down then we will also lose money. So what someone who trades cryptocurrencies really needs is not to panic and do more detailed research.

I think the price of Bitcoin will continue to rise in 2021, and I project the price of Bitcoin to reach $55k by the end of this year. My advice for those of you who want to enter is still very good to enter now by buying regularly rather than buying a lot at once. Conversely, those of you who want to sell must also be disciplined in the targets you set.
