Title: Mining Hardware For Sale since the recent Migration out of China
Post by: Zechs on June 27, 2021, 12:34:37 PM
Is there a place to purchase the Chinese miners being dumped due to the migration out of China?

Also, what is the typical USD/THash price for new miners out of China?

I appreciate the help!

I keep hearing about this massive hardware sale coming from China but I'm not seeing it.  What I'm seeing is a massive relocation of hardware out of China.  Even if they are selling, it would have been a much better deal to buy new when BTC was hovering around $60K as opposed to now, right?  I just don't think this is the buying opportunity everything seems to think it is.  I could very well be completely wrong over time, but I still think the right buying opportunity is going to be with new miners and a much higher BTC price.

from what i can tell through reading and browsing the internet, miners who sell their rig are 'small' miners who mine altcoins. so, i don't think you can buy secondhand asic miners in large quantity with ease. maybe try to contact a local user/retailer to see if they can help you with it.

I am not seeing the asic dump either.  The Chinese mining firms must be hanging onto them.
