I have a neice who isnt girly at all and wont wear a dress and things like that. I dont htink people should force anyone to be something they arnt. everyone is there own person ya know.

This school should be sued for attepting this girl to think that she is a boy!

What did you say? Think he mentioned before that he self-moderates because he has a troll or trolls following him or something, unless he's just one of those petty tyrants who self-moderates to delete any posts he doesn't like just because haha.

The school is  made so you can learn stuff,to give you the right knowledge and to encourage what you are,not to force you into something your not.

Indeed this is a example of a school that you do not want to put your kids in :)

He had posted that "the girl's parents should stop giving her masculine hormones", which I find pretty offensive to say the least. These forums are crawling with trolls and bigots and I won't have any of that shit on my threads. And yes, I also love deleting posts I don't like just because...  ::) ;D

these people have a whole lot of nerve.  Espicially in this situation regarding a 8 year old child.  This is so sick that I really want to contact who ever sent the letter out and give them a piece of my mind.  Such scum....

Meh may be more to the story than their appears to be but Privacy can be a block when a bias is built into the media and society relations

It's not religion, it's the stupid school and the stupid people managing the school, there is no religion in the world that says that girls needs to be girly, and do girly things

The school is religious.. It wouldn't happen at a public school.

True but a lot of people go to the private system because of their qualms with the failures of a public school system
Not that all schools are bad mind you just some are worse than others guess it can be applied to the private system as well though

Like I said it's not the religion it's the people at the school that are stupid, a Public school is regulated by the the public law and it doesn't mean that some people in some public school would not think the same and want to do the same they are just afraid of the consequences.

If I was the parent of the child the first thing I'd do is to remove the kid from that school paying $$$$ to hear such stupidity is pretty lame
Second thing would be to boycott the school and seek out the maximum media exposer till the person responsible for this get proper punishment.

Believing in religion is both close-minded and laughable to some people. People are allowed to believe, but people are also allowed to laugh at them.

My youngest daughter is 7. She likes horror movies, climb trees, thinks Lara croft is immensely cool (probably her fathers fault). Thinks boy are weak and knows and uses every F-word in the book.

She never gives up in an argument and starts attacking verbally and physically (mostly me) when she disagrees.

She ridicules the class mates that are too girly (maybe just to impress me) and I'm very proud of her.

When I have a "discussion" with my wife, she proclaims that she wants to live with me, if we are getting a divorce (she isn't really worried). We are a semi Italian family, so we like to shout at each other on a daily basis.

She dresses somewhere between Punk, hip-hop and Tinkerbell.

It seems laughing and mocking people who do not share your viewpoint or your non belief is fashionable nowadays. Obviously the same open minded people would not dare laughing at the beliefs of the Indigenous peoples of the Americas, the belief of the Dalai Lama, the belief of Mother Theresa, etc. Not in public anyway.

Back on topic: Sad. Not enough natural male hormones for that little girl. Really sad.

It is always fun to bring cheap blings to natives anywhere, before force converting them to one's superior non silly society's value. That will show them! They should feel lucky to be alive anyway! I get you  ;)

To believe in a god you need to ignore the world around you.  That's what's funny about it. 

+1 I can't be respectful to people who blatantly ignore mathematics and the laws of physics.

We should avoid these kinds of school. Very ashamed.
