For example ratio or no. of coinbase in them? average lifespan in the current set (no of blocks from creation till now)? . Or viewing it differently, r there sites that provide statistics about cold wallets? (I mean money, UTXOS, in cold wallets r not expected to be spent soon)? I'm not sure what's free and what's paid for but I think they're able to track active current addresses, average holdings (egnumber of addresses holding x amount of btc since the start of the year - I think). There is no way to figure out which address belongs to a cold wallet and which one belongs to a hot wallet. That's known only by the owner of the address.(I mean money, UTXOS, in cold wallets r not expected to be spent soon)? It should be noted that some addresses may be known to belong to an exchange or any other custodial service. But it's not possible to classify addresses into hot wallets and cold wallets. Unfortunately Blockchair very recently launched a new redesigned site which is vastly inferior to their old site, so you might struggle to find what you are looking for on it. Most of the onchain analytic sites require subscriptions.
Try checking out https://app.intotheblock.com. and see if they offer anything that might be of interest to you. it's a cheaper alternative to Glassnode. To subscribe, i think you need about $6 only a month. |
