Title: investmentmk.biz | Ponzi scam
Post by: The Cryptovator on June 30, 2021, 06:18:11 PM
Website: https://investmentmk.biz

Not yet found in the forum.
What happened: Ponzi Scam promising high return.

Nothing to say too much, just sharing the scam site to make awareness. Scammer offering up to 17% per day isn't just unrealistic but also ridiculous. The domain name itself looks like a scam. So guys just be careful.

No legitimate company would have imagined giving such a huge return perday. This is a scam website, they are trying to trap greedy crypto users through this website. They are also offering multi-level referral commissions, which is why many will promote this website to get referral commissions. So everyone should be careful about such websites.

With the outrageous returns promised by the SCAM PROJECT, I checked the team members and the pictures posted are stock images taken from various websites from the internet. The project head was also a fake identity that they gathered from a different source, in which his focus is not on cryptocurrency but on insurance premiums.

All of these indicate that this is a ponzi-scheme that is GUARANTEED to lose you money once you invest.

Good catch. What else can we expect from scammers? They never use a real team although there is a real scam team member. Their return on the investment itself is enough to call scam, doesn't matter they have been using fake or real team member. For me, I won't trust them with a penny even they use a real photo. Because it's not a hard task to collect photos from real life. Anyway, we should always avoid such greedy offers.

I did a search on the phone number posted in the footer of the site in question. It revealed the same number being using on another scam site as listed here:
Code:
 https://onlinebitz.net/finexgen.com-review - a review of a scam site
It is a HYIP site.

They are even using that UK certificate image as a show of "legitimacy" - https://investmentmk.biz/?a=cust&page=about - this is known to be a classic method used by scammers.

Domain lookup yield this information:
Code:
Registrar NameCheap, Inc.
IANA ID: 1068
URL: http://www.namecheap.com
Whois Server: whois.namecheap.com

Registrar Status clientTransferProhibited
Dates 5 days old
Created on 2021-06-26
Expires on 2022-06-26
Updated on 2021-07-01

Namecheap should be informed of the same. Please make sure at least some of those reading this thread reports this to the registrar so they get taken down.

This is such a low effort website that even a gullible person won't even consider investing in it plus they have a lower yield than most Ponzi schemes out there. This type of scams are starting to invade a lot of other social media platforms, I have been messaged a lot of times bey different scammers about their websites already although I am not active in Discord so I don't see it much often.

It is no surprise if the scammer uses many things to trick people who visit their site. They will try to make sure that they are real in front of their visitor. People need to be aware and always check everything before they do something. If the site is named using "investment," that will give us an alarm because bitcoin is the investment, and if they can provide them by sending the bitcoin to them and they will give the reward in some period, that means, it will be a scam for the people.
