Title: Unable to enum CUDA GPUs
Post by: velma on July 03, 2021, 01:30:06 AM
Everything was working fine until I turned off my rig and turned it back on. I'm running hive OS and received a message, "Unable to enum CUDA GPUs: no cuda-capable devices detected."

Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this problem?

As usual. Restart, connect GPU 1 by 1, update dricers, hive, reinstall hive, check risers. Some of these steps usually shows the problem.

I have my personal PC a workstation Z420 where I am mining Raven with T-rex in Ubuntu 20.04 and sometimes after some crash it restarts with this error. For me I needed a driver update,I am using 1050 ti an old card but it is just on my home PC so I am happy with it.The driver update solved the problem so you can try this first as I believe it will probably solve your problem.

hive OS installed on USB flash drive?
Check all connections and install hive OS on another USB flash drive.
I had problems with a USB flash drive, because this is not the most reliable medium for updating, but the problem is solved by replacing it.
If the problem persists, start diagnostics from the power supply and the motherboard.
