I'm playing My Defi Pet for quite some time and I notice that there's no general discussion thread here in the forum despite of it's increasing popularity. I will make this thread a self-moderated thread so that I can remove all off-topic post. Feel free to share all your strategies, tips and FLEX your cool rare pet as this game is still on beta phase which means there's a lot of room for improvement in the future.

Anyway, what is my pet all about?

This is a discussion thread for a NFT game which is fit on Altcoin discussion board. If you know cryptokitties and Axie Infinity then it's same game type, This is another collectible game that has there own utility token that you can use on the game. My DeFi Pet is a Lifestyle based pet game on Blockchain. You can read more details of the game on there whitepaper[1]. To clarify,  I'm not part of the dev team and I never stated that on the content of this thread, I'm just a normal player of this game.  :D

Lots of bugs and glitch so far on this game but understandable considering it's on beta phase. I recently saw the roadmap on one of the post of admin on telegram that earning system and guild will be implemented on the last quarter of this year. This is very interesting  but I'm worried that there will be some data wipe out after they finish the beta phase leaving early user to suffer some progress of the game. There is no distinct classification for the rarity of each pet that giving confusion to all collectors unlike on Axie. The current game feature is very limited that's why I always hesitant to invest more on DPET token to buy more eggs.  ::)

I've missed buying Dpet tokens as I've already planned to play the game. I know that this will also be big as the other game called Axie Infinity. The rise of NFT games are for real and it's just getting bigger and started.

You can just buy the Dpet tokens and trade it while you're just watching the game but I guess that's no sense if you have no plans of playing the game but that's doable.

The advantage of playing in Beta phase is you can get ahead to other player especially on gathering resources that you will use to upgrade and made progress on the game. The game has no earning system yet so expect a somehow boring gameplay unless you really like collecting and breeding game. But this is a golden opportunity for you to invest on early stage because players and investors will surge in once the full potential of this game was already out in the public.

I missed axie, so I don't give myself to miss again this nft games, My Defi Pet is a good game and in my thought it will become a rival of axie, because when you look on their white paper the games offers variety of features that can overtake axie, I wish this game will become successful.

I have seen some of my Facebook friends already playing My DeFi Pet and I realize that this may have some potential to be the next Axie Infinity which is already so popular right now and where players are making good money. I would certainly be looking at this...who knows this can be my ticket to gamified cryptocurrency heaven. Thanks for putting up the link for the tutorial.

Just start playing if you don't to miss the plane. The price of the in-game token is already moving up while the game is still on maintenance. Just think of what will happen if the game resumes and more features are unlocked.

I don't really care if it can overtake Axie or not. I'm fine if this game falls behind as long as its popularity rises consistently.

For me, it may be a bit late to participate now, I prefer to join at the beginning of the project, so that it is possible to get the most profit

Not gonna lie, this does look kinda interesting. Definately better than that axie infinity bullshit.

Any tips on what to buy?

I like these pets. It reminds me of the adventure games I played when I was young. I will learn more about the new project. But it looks like the project is currently being upgraded and cannot be operated

The guy is still on maintenance so definitely the only thing you can do for now is to buy $DPET token on PancakeSwap or Kaidex but I suggest that you used the KardiaChain blockchain for playing this game due to lot of perks exclusive for KardiaChain player because of there partnership. The game is still on beta phase so you might encounter lots of bug on the game but the whole gameplay is cool when all features was implemented as per there road map.

Stock $DPET token as much as you can for this early stage since you will need that to purchase eggs and upgrades in the future. The token price is rising continuously so you might end up buying expensive token later on.

Another extension for the maintenance, This time there is no ETA on when will the game become online.



The good news is, Token price continously rising despite the game being on maintenance mode for over 3 days. I suggest that try to stake your DPET token on farming dapps like DeFiLy so that you can still use your DPET token to earn while waiting.  ;)

Any feedback about Becoswap(becoswap.com) anyone? I'm planning to stake on their token but I want to hear some opinion or review about it.

I agree, when you look on the price of DPET as of this moment writing this reply, it raise to 0.92USD and reached 1.24usd a while ago, it means that so many people now notice the potential of My Defi Pet, so they begin to bag DPET for preparation for the upcoming game upgrades.

They are official partner of KardiaChain and the rest of dapps available on KardiaChain Blockchain. I believe sleep earn finance and DeFily offers a good APR compared on Becoswap but rest assured token is safe when staking on any of them.

My DeFi Pet is part of Most Valuable Builder top 20. It only means that this game is a real deal and has a lot of potential.

Ive been searching and watching some videos about this my defi pet. Already did some few steps on how to connect account to metamask, etc. And is it only BNB coin to purchase their tokens? And yeah, the hype is still active right now that is why the value continue to rise. Anyhow, im still on my first step to join the game.

Kardiachain also offers buying DPET tokens using KAI. Kucoin does support KAI/USDT pair. More players are using this method because of the cheaper fees from KardiaChain than using Binance Smart Chain for buying eggs. It's not that popular yet but it's going there.

DPET is growing too fast, you might want to buy your tokens as early as possible before it goes up again. The last time I bought this token was $0.4 and the volume was just $400k, and now it's $13m. I am also not part of the group, I'm just a player like TS.

There's a recent hack this morning on BSC. The hacker was able infiltrate the chainswap smart contract to generate token and drop on pancakeswap. The liquidity almost empty that time that's why price dump hard. Its a good if anyone bought the dip because it was dump again to 0.4$ real quick. But now it recover again to its original price before the hacker dump the token.

Back to the game. The game seems on final phase of maintenance. I'm having a hard time on accessing the game rn.

It was very interesting when I first saw it. Like Pokémon a few years ago, I will try to become a player of this game. I feel that this game has great potential and I will discuss it with you often in the future.

I was amazed by how much it jumped in price. Last night I was just monitoring it at $4.69 then a few minutes later it went $5.80. Buyers are coming and they are not stopping. Those who are late buying DPET coins will have a lot of problem buying an egg if this keeps up. The future is real bright for this project.
Thankfully as I've tested it, I haven't received the Unity error anymore. Looks like the maintenance is a success. I really missed feeding my pets with their belly in full pack.

The maintenance is not yet over but the current game is final update. The devs is still monitoring the game performance before they conclude the result of maintenance. Compensation will sent after so don't about days away harvesting silver coin. I'm waiting for a correction atleast 50% to accumulate more. I'm having a hard time using DPET token now to buy eggs or evolve knowing the price continuously rising.

Yeah and that's why I've run into another error again. It says: "Out of memory, WebGL". Something like that.
I think they are still having a lot of trouble allocating more memory for the game. But they have the money now and it will be easier to invest more to make the game smoother.
Maybe that's also the reason into why you are having a hard time using the token, if there's no more memory space for newly hatched egg or bred pets.
I hope more foods for the compensation, my pets are too hungry they are all thin by now.  ;D

Most of my farming pets already maxed out so I'm just stocking resources until there is an exact detail about the mechanics of pay to earn system. I'm afraid that I might wasting my resources on wrong pet that doesn't fit well on pay to earn. This game needs times since the cooldowns of resources as well as the capacity of cage is too limited. Our only advantage as early user was having a huge resources as much as possible.  ;D

Just a heads up guys. Maintenance is already completed on Kardiachain game while the maintenance on BSC is still ongoing after the devs encounter some error. Additional compensation already sent and the compensation this time much bigger compared to the first batch. A very good resources to upgrade cage and lvl up pets.  ;D

I saw one print screen from their Facebook page and it was a huge amount of compensation. 450k of food? is that true? I didn't receive that many in the compensation for Binance chain. I didn't get the right number but it was like 100k of food only because I got 170k now in total food.
I hope they would just equal the compensation for both chains, I really need that food.  ;D

Someone took some profits already selling their DPET coins but it didn't hit the value much. I think that's a good sign. 

My DeFi pet is Dimebag a game character in Seascape Network. With Dimebag, it is all about the bottom line. For him all that counts is the profit. You are sure to stack a lot of cash with him by your side.

450K food if you didn't receive the first batch of compensation but its 300k only and around 150K silver to be precised. I believe BSC user will receive same amount or greater because it cause delay on all BSC player. I heard that maybe next month, There will be a very juicy update in the pipe line coming on DPET. I sell already my coins at 75Kai per DPET the bought back yesterday at 63Kai per DPET. I need to increase my DPET token as much as possible for buying eggs and evolve fee.  :D

That's right, if someone is late to buy Axie infinity "AXS" tokens, because the price of the tokens has been pumped hard, Then don't be late to buy My Defi Pet "DPET" tokens. The game is interesting and we can make money

This game is high risk high reward right now because we don't know they will continue this phase until they fully developed the game or some other new game overtake them and snatch the hype they already building. They are seems struggling on there recent maintenance which cost them a week to open the game and still leaving some problem on BSC network. I'm not being negative about this game but there's a lot of tough competitors out there that might still the spotlight from them if they develop the game in slow phase.

Bro, I hope I have the guts to sell it at a higher price too and buy more when its dumped. I am kind of doubting myself because of the recent price movement that is not easy to predict.
So you are using the KardiaChain and maybe that's why you can play it normally while me in Binance Chain is still having some problems with Unity error. I really thought they already fixed it but it's still there.
I am trying to put all my pets in the hotel first to see if that fix can work because some of them that are on the cages are from breeding and eggs that was opened after the update. Maybe they are bugged with some disease.

So the latest updates:

DPET (BEP-20) is already listed on Kucoin. Live trading started an hour ago https://trade.kucoin.com/DPET-USDT. They will also support KRC-20 but I don't know when. It's soon according to the announcement. This will be very convenient for crypto newbies and veterans alike (no need to go through different trades).

MDP also releasing some sneak peeks of the boss raid and the market place.

I guess it's safe to say exciting times ahead.

So stunned by the time I checked my wallet and see the profit, I thought that there's a bug on the price feed on the wallet then when I open telegram to check, There's a lot of good news on My defi pet. The risk on investing this game is so worth it, Although I enter around 5$ price already but still a good profit and I'm planning to hold my tokens until play2earn was already release(Maybe use it solely on buying more pets).

The graphic is better than axie but this kind of game is look like want to follow axie hype. The price is still cheap and probably become the next axie. But i think the game should let us see what people are selling in the market without login into our wallet first just like axie infinity, it will be hooked people more to play if they see the market first

There's no exact date yet but it's gonna happen next month.

NFT gaming with P2E feature is the trend right now thanks to the popularity of Axie. However, let's not discredit the projects that follows especially if they provide better gaming experience.

Maybe MDP team will do the same. The marketplace isn't open yet.

Still cheap? I dont think so mate, since its price before is less than $1 but now it take a lots of dpet to buy some pet and create a 5 team for the battle.

Based on their roadmap, a lot of activities are on the line including the marketplace but it will take a while before it happens. I also play this and got some pets but sometime it doesnt work on the phone but only on pc.

There is no official announcement yet but an admin already leaked the information that egg sale (from the incubator) will be stopped once the marketplace opens up. According to the roadmap, that's going to happen in Q3. If you're still holding on to your DPET tokens, you might want to start getting your pets now. The next time you'll be able to buy, it will be from the pet breeders.

This is a good move to create scarcity for the production of pet. Player will be force to use breeding system which is more expensive rather than buying eggs on the shop. Can post atleast the Screenshot of the Admin post for reference on this discussion? The only thing I only get on there news was there teasers about the boss and games. I'm not updated anymore on some inside game updates after I become busy on Kephi Gallery token sale. Thanks for updating here men.

I was expecting a 10 pets per wave based on the teasers released prior to the tutorial. I just hope there won't be any issues in  Prepare some BNBs (KAIs for Kardiachain players) because we might be spending some as gas for each MDP token (pets) sent to the portals. I just hope there won't be major issues with the BSC nodes.

After the monumental failure on the boss fight, the team decided to push for another way to let players/investors earn while they fix a lot of game issues. Pet staking will be available next month according to their latest announcement. Details such as APR/APY are not available yet. It seems they are still gathering information/feedback from the community before they make it final.

It looks like a cool game. I hear that there are some new play to earn games coming out on NEAR protocol next month. Also, Vibehub is play to earn and it's really fun.
