Title: Looking for 4 S17's to buy
Post by: ch33ks on July 07, 2021, 12:21:02 PM
Can anyone recommend a place where I can buy new and or used S17's in stock at a decent price?

Not sure if you are still looking for a store for the S17 miner? At present, the Antminer 17 series miners are prone to the cooling fins falling off during transportation. So, if you want to buy S17, you can choose to buy S17 miner with modified heatsink. Or go for the S19, which seems more benefit. I saw used Antminer S17 for sale at zeusbtc: https://www.zeusbtc.com/Used-ASIC-Miner/Used-Miner-Details.asp?ID=1249 (https://www.zeusbtc.com/Used-ASIC-Miner/Used-Miner-Details.asp?ID=1249)

Be assured that anything you buy from ebay is likely to be WAY over priced and high risk of being scammed.

Plus, considering the S17's have been out of production for a couple years they certainly will NOT be new...

I've got one in pretty rough shape that I've been considering selling.  It's an S17Pro but one of the cards is a bit finicky.  I find it needs to be restarted every so often to function.  Probably not what you're looking for, but maybe you're more into troubleshooting these things than I am.  Let me know if you're interested at all.  I'm not really motivated to find a buyer and have no problem letting it run as is, but figure I might as well offer in case we were able to make a deal.  Good luck with your search.  I'm sure there are plenty of miners out there for sale somewhere.
