Title: Question about loaded coin denomination.
Post by: MrCryptHodl on July 13, 2021, 06:04:53 PM
Hello everybody,
I hope that you all are ok !

As I think some must have seen I put on my website a page for the collection that will follow the book, this will be lot of loaded coin, however I'm going around in circles about the denomination, I would like to know what would you like to see as a denomination for future coin ?

Because I did my research mostly on the forum but the prices of Bitcoin and Litecoin were not as high at that time, so it's hard to determine what the community would like.

For information it's gonna be Bitcoin and Litecoin loaded so you can suggest denomination for both or only 1.

Third project after sell of the book : https://1hodlclub.com/21-million/ (https://1hodlclub.com/21-million/)

MrCryptHodl: Hope you are well too.

I like it all since I am a junkie. However, I would suggest that if you hope to sell a substantial number of coins that .001 btc is safe and approachable for more people. If it is a more limited series then I think .005-.01 is more interesting. I love the bigger denominations but they become a pain to sell. .1 btc coins eventually will gain the complications of loaded Casacious coins when btc hits new highs that we all expect.

1 litecoin is solid and 5 is still approachable for many.

I like the Satori token load of 0.001 BTC. A bit more than pocket change today and could be a nice vacation in a few years.

yes  effectivly 0.001btc is the more affordable, and clearly big denomination are hard to sell !

Exactly ! think the same !

---------------------------------------------------

With the 0.001BTC it gonna be in the lot, 0.005BTC too for the coins i'm gonna made, but i think to made about 4 denomination and we rarely see 0.0005BTC coins and for exemple 0.0015, don't know what are you think about that type of denomination ?

And yes i'm try to always make limited edition, I would like to know for you is that 500 pieces per denomination remains "limited edition" or is it already too much ?

Whatever it is it will have to be low denomination.  You won't have many buyers if the funding amount is significant.  I would even say that .01btc and 1 LTC gets a bit high of a denom depending on the release and market conditions.  Either way good luck with your project.  Need some more cool trinkets to come out :)

yes indeed it is high 0.01 btc and 1 LTC, for example for those in BTC I would like to be around 0.0005 and 0.0025 I thought, just to stay below $ 100 we will say according to the price of btc, that this that accessible to all!

Thank you ! yes beautiful things will happen!

I would collect a lot of .005-.01 items these days but honestly think .001 items will be the most anticipated/affordable option in a few months

0.001 BTC and 0.25 LTC.  Would be cool to have a loaded coin that contained both amounts, just my 2 sats.

I agree with my amigo here. Right now with bitcoin currently at the price level it's at, .001 funded coins make the most sense in my opinion. That is if you're looking to sell a decent amount of coins. If you planned on doing a more limited release, something like say 100 coins, then doing .005 or .01 might make sense. Just my 2 Satoshis.

Beautiful really thank you for all your advice!

So currently I am thinking of going on .0005BTC - 0.001BTC - 0.0015BTC and for LTC 0.1 - 0.25 - 0.5, i think to add one more  denomination to each but need to think.

Basically my project is based on casinos, based on the year 2014 when some las vegas casinos accepted Bitcoin, of course it will be chips made from a custom mold, and many other features, try to put small denominations because yes the chips will be limited but 500 chips per denomination would not be bad.

Equal 100$ for today market.
#0.003-005 BTC and 1 LTC.

Lowest denomination are affordable for all and very suitable as a gift too.
