My favorite recess game was kickball, and IIRC we used the same balls for all those schoolyard games.

Kids can be so mean at the gradeschool level and giving them balls to throw at each other that can actually hurt, it's a recipe for disaster at times. Funny thing is I'm thinking back on those times right now and I remember one instance of it like it was yesterday, all these years later lol. I'm only 35 but can almost guarantee the kids these days will never be able to understand what our good ol' days were like lol No they won't. Not having technology changed everything back then. I mean high tech toys back then were things like Talkboys and Yak Baks lol. They'll also never know the gut wrenching feeling of having to call a girl you like on the phone to ask them out, nowadays they've got social media, texting etc. I miss the good ole days.
