few months ago there was a user who said that the population of crypto users is just 1% of the total population of the world.

It's a good question to ask. And we never know the correct answer. For now, cryptocurrencies are highly preferred as a great alternative to fiat. People love to invest into it, use it as a payment option where it's possible. Even if the governments make their own digital currencies and stop using fiat completely, I think that cryptocurrencies will still be preferred.

if memory doesn't fool me even in the US there are people who don't know about bitcoin and who never bought bitcoin, then if in a first world country like the US there are people who don't even know about bitcoin imagine how many people don't know about bitcoin in the countries third world where technology is still not accessible to everyone. Crypto adoption is expanding but it seems that governments don't want their own people to be financially free probably because there will be limited people working for them (government), the reason why I bring this up is because of what's presently happening in China with crypto miners, they are mad that cryptomining is creating millionaires in the country

People are running into bitcoin very fast than we think and anything that has such importance to be demanded will always have growth both in importance and price. nowadays many big banks don't like cryptocurrency and we have to be aware of it but even so, crypto transactions around the world continue to increase, this shows that the trend of cryptocurrency will not stop again.

Yes, crypto currency adoption isn't going to retreat for a long time yet. But I'm not sure if I could say the same specifically about decentralized crypto currency. As we can see in daily news, governments are adopting crypto and introducing it in their own financial systems, through the development of stable national coins, however it has nothing to do with decentralized crypto currency we have been used to since the beginning.
If they succeed in creating their own stable crypto currencies, I think there is some risk the popularity of currencies like bitcoin may decrease, because there is a tendency these countries will impose more severe restrictions and regulations over the decentralized side of this universe, while creating a lot of hype on their own side.

We should thinl about all of this will happen as cryptocurrency is all in mainstream medias so its really expected that the crypto industry will continue I don't know how long it takes but as long as the market is doing some great adoptions from big whales from other trading vemtures then provably we can see a continuoues success on it. Millennials are easy to adopt things that are new in technology. With smartphones today, they can easily learn about crypto and understand how it is being transacted. They are more eager to know these kind of things. I can understand that most of the age group of 65 and above are not interested anymore as they will just stick to traditional means like fiat.
Also, a lot of gaming sites now are integrating their own crypto coin, so that's additional way on how to to attract these younger generation to crypto. Should be. Heck I still consider the Crypto community to be relatively unknown instead of being known tbh. It's been 10 years, but that's just a short ten years. imo, it still has a long time to spread it's name and for it to continuously become more popular than it is right now. Even now, most people who only know about Bitcoin are investors, and that's because of the current state of the market. What if it as a currency were to be properly spread and adopted? Then I'd believe more people would actively enter the scene since the prospect of being your own bank is wanted by people at times.

Although the price is down right now, it will not stop attracting more people to join and hopefully, that can lift the price to increase. In the future, many people will continue to join in crypto.

Now those users are in their 30s, and have more spending power. And at the same time, Bitcoin continues to be popular among the younger users (>30 yrs). And after PayPal allowed the purchase of Bitcoin in it's platform, there have been a surge from the middle-aged users as well. And despite the recent dip in the prices, the user base continues to expand. At no point during the 2009-2021 period, the Bitcoin user base has decreased on a month-to-month basis.

There were a lot of the joiners were just forced to join because of the hype and a lot as well lose their money. I think that's one of the factors why some are now aware of Crypto.

Just to clarify your statement, cryptocurrency is decentralized in nature means that the government won't be able to control nor manipulate it. The government doesn't necessarily protect something whenever they have the power over it. As a matter of fact, most of the times they have the ability to control something, they regulate it to the extent that the welfare, freedom to move, and decision making of the people are compromised. Hence, it's not really a good idea at all times that certain activities, properties, facilities, services, and source of income to be government-controlled and owned. I think now the government has controlled it from the start, because those who control all the properties and facilities that have self-supporting places already have an agreement on paper with the local government. then the per capita tax will be managed at around 15% per year each.

Even in countries where bitcoin is stated illegal is now supported by the government. In my country recently saw an advertising for a program on a local channel. It was a series of episodes about cryptocurrencies done with collaboration with zebpay. So, more such events are helping to gain more popularity.

I totally agree with you but to me IMHO, if the government gets involved in cryptocurrency, I don't believe it will be that good because as you mentioned, which country does not have their own currency? and do we really think that the Government will be involved in crypto and all regulations will not be put into controlling it? the reason cryptocurrencies are still and becoming even more popular now is because of the profit margin from investments and its decentralized nature.
