I would like to ask the community, what coins do you see in the future, in 5 years, in the TOP 10? I would come from the other end. What characteristics of coins do you see as promising, innovative for the future of digital assets? What qualities should they have?

The first thing you should look at any cryptocurrency is the utility and benefits that it can bring to the cryptocurrency so that it has a lot of interest in the crypto space as has happened to BNB, ETH and BTC, as well as the others in the top 10 rankings. because the one with the most volume will always rank well in the years to come.

In my opinion, interest in any asset can be determined either by hype, speculation, or be meaningful, that is, based on an understanding of the value of the product behind the token or cryptocurrency. The laws of the market are that if there is an active purchase of a speculative product, then the profit can be a derivative of someone's losses.

Those that have an actual economy and can sustain what's its trying to build and be the disruptor of the technology that we've been used to.

They'll move towards privacy as soon as people start realizing it's more important than the value gains of BTC investments. We're missing privacy and things will start looking bad when govs will want to deeply analyze blockchains and find out who did what and for what reason. At that point, most users will seek a way out.

Almost all ideas for a currency in blockchain I think are already in the whitepaper of the projects. Blockchain can be used in a different industry but making the currency decentralize is what makes it difficult to achieve.

Monero being a privacy coin might likely be the top since people are going to be seeking privacy. It may also change things if there will be DEFI with it.

The industry will be moving to the NFT game. You can see how some NFT game has become a very popular game at this moment dude and even the statistic of axie infinity has been surpassing some mainstream platform.
The industry was looking for a way to make a platform that can be used to generate passive and active revenue. The game has become the best way to do that.
Im sure that we will see a candidate from the game to enter into the top CMC.

In the next 5 years, of course there will be changes, some will remain in the top 10 and some will be replaced. it's just that we can't predict the trend that will be popular in the next 5 years. So we don't know what tokens will be popular in the next 5 years. Qualities I look for:

Purpose. Better than existing options. Easily tradeable or usable to meet their purpose. Team looking for long-term (10+ year) commitment.

The industry will, hopefully, move towards kicking out low-quality tokens and coins.

I think the top coins should have at least a decent use case. I believe major finance ot defi system could be on thr list in the next few years. Projects that could cater and somehow involved some ptivate sector on their ends could be on thr top league. Also some major fine applications like gaming and streaming too could also be a major contender for the top projects on the future. But Im still sure that bitcoin will be still on the lead years from now.

I think the way out for cryptocurrency in the future lies in DAO. Distributed Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) are kept running through smart contracts.

Well the first thing and the most important one is Utility with real use case, We already have tons of Meme Coin or any Sh*t coin without any real purpose, We need an new coin with real purpose, Beside that team, Tokenomics and partners was also important, There are tons of other factors but i suppose that was the most important things, Some potential Concept like DAO or Decentralized Storage will likely good for long term.

My own little way to find out if the project is promising and has a bright future is, I need to see first who are the team members, and where they came from, what is their expertise, second is the use cases, utilization and how can be the real-world will benefit from that project or what problem the project will solve/disrupt things like that are very important to determine if it was a promising project or not.

New altcoins aim to provide a lot of new features in crypto space, but many new coins just take advantage of Hype and coins don't have strong fundamentals, top coins remain the choice because they have technology ready to use, new projects have new ideas like DeFi platform by adding some game features to the platform seems like a good idea, because there are many users who like to play games and collect some NFT card characters in game and this can be applied to the Defi and NFT platforms

The currently released altcoins don't even have them, as they all copy from existing ones. in fact there has been no new innovation in the crypto space for a long time. If I may say all the projects released today seem plagiarized. and what's even weirder, all these projects are accepted by everyone. so forget about the characteristics, you just look for the hype coin and buy it. then wait a few days and you will get profit.

the most potential may be like BNB. bnb has good uniqueness and innovation. they have everything to be successful. characteristics like these that can lead to success in the crypto market. they seem to provide a solution to every problem that exists in the crypto space.

First of all I understand the idea and decide if it is something innovative and useful. Only projects with innovative ideas will survive in the future, so we definitely should investigate the idea, docs and development team before investing. What is more, you should pay attention to marketing campaigns and social media. You necessarily should investigate if there is a big community and there are many people who trust this project and want to invest.

I am used to checking the table on coinmarketcap, where I can say that only 100 currencies from 10 000 are really popular and people will use them in the future as well. As far as I am concerned, there is a DeFiPulse Index (DPI), Matic, UNI, NFT Index (NFTI) in my list of holding in addition to fundamental currencies like BTC, ETH, BNB.

The real-time usage needs to be taken into consideration. Just tokenising the services won't be effective in the long run. It needs to be used by the people in some way. Just take a gambling based token. If people use it for regular gambling needs, then there'll be good circulation of the respective token. The same will help with the rise of the market when more and more people keeps using it for the needs. Same as this we can see different forms of usage with coins developed for specific purpose.

Interesting question. I would say it’s connection with the real world application is something I wanna see as its prime role. What I mean is, having virtual products with virtual currencies and backbone to it becomes messy project over the time and they don’t work properly. With real world application I can feel things, let’s say I can have coin which allows me to buy any products available in the store or may be gives me digital security interest for keeping the gold in safe box and what not. Now the possibility of making such coin is good but there aren’t many who keeps the roadmap on track.

In addition to this, these project owners must have physical offices where we can meet the team, see the work culture and what not. This is missing all the time. All they work from home and we don’t even see promising face.

The later one isn’t coin characteristic but must have thing these days.

For now I still think that ETH is always going to be ahead of the other altcoins, in that top five ETH is going to be the number one, unless we have Bitcoin in that top five, which is then going to be the number one and followed by Ethereum, before others. Most of the altcoins I see these days are all just copying what Ethereum has done or they are trying to be a better alternative to Ethereum.

And I don’t think that’s going to work out for them, because soon there is going to be the ETH 2.0, an improved version of the Ethereum network that will beat them hands down.Coins that I feel might follow up next are the likes of Cardano, and BNB. Anonymity coins like Monero and Zcash are not that popular to compete on the top five level, hardly see people talk about them.

Yes, ETH is an ecosystem, not in words, but in practice. It is like a kind of foundation on the basis of which a significant proportion of crypto projects are built. This is a plus.

Talking about innovative ideas, I am looking for projects that are going to provide services to connect the real world with digital. For example, projects that tokenize physical things and documents. Also I am interested in projects that make this system safer and more user-friendly. But in addition to this I always investigate development team and marketing campaign first.

Speed, convenience, safety, easy accessibility, low volatility, high liquidity, strong and sought-after technology.
I think with about such a set of qualities, the cryptocurrency of the future can exist and compete in the market.
