I can't say anything directly about Polka, but generally about the current altcoin market. I think you've also noticed that we've been in a bear market for a few weeks. Initially, prices fell abruptly and for several weeks they continue to fall but much slower. Slowly but steadily. So far there is no bottom visible. It reminds a little of the phases after the highs in 2013 and 2017. The bear market can still go further, so buying is currently still not recommended.

based on what do you expect $5 price for a DOT? it was at almost $50 two months ago, and sliding down, but $5 seems as too low
DOT is a good project, although development is not going that smooth, and Kusama is also developing, with auctions already in progress, and KSM is also sliding down, due to market correction

one should analyze before investment, and invest in projects that are good from analysis point, one should not invest based on forum topics

Been months now, to be honest though, I'm one of those who regret not investing early, when the price is still too low and seeing a lot of good predictions about this coin. I could have made a good to decent profit about it.

But since we are in a bearish trend right now, I'm still confused if I'm going to invest or now. It's been a waiting game for the majority of us, so I would say it's might be a good time to invest again as the price is at a bargain.

Last time all time is $50.00, now it's around $12.00, that's a huge swing because we unexpectedly entered a bearish cycle.

Hard to say if it's time to invest or not, majority of the alt coins are bleeding now and we don't know if we are going to see another super fast bullish cycle or not before the end of the year so it's a big risk. Unless "invest what you can afford to lose" attitude then why not?

DOT has been loosing more than 65% since its ATH and it looks like based on the chart of DOT has not yet reached the bottom. This chain is totally overvalued at this moment. There are not lots of NFT and defi build on DOT and mostly of NFT and defi were still using ethereum, BSC, and matic. it looks like you must wait until the price of DOT will be going down even deeper than before dude.

It’s a good time to buy any of the top 50 cryptos. We’re over 50% down from ATH’s & I think we’re still in a bull market even if the market says the opposite. So sure buy DOT, it’s a good time.

No one will be able to predict the price of any coin including Polkadot, because in difficult times like this, the development of web 3.0, and running the Airdrop program cannot guarantee that the price will increase, because market conditions and the price of Polkadot are not determined in these two things.

I started buying polkadot at $2 in August 2020. I saw polkadot rose to almost $50. Seeing these low price again,  it is no brainer that it is time to start investing in polkadot at these attractive prices. The market is down and bearish,  perfect time to cherry pick on quality altcoin like polkadot,  ether, polygon and some hidden experimental altcoin!

There's no guarantee that it will come back its price again. so it will be a gamble if you want to invest right now. you can try it but remember you need to wait to get some decent amount of income and you might double your capital if your speculations are right. But remember not to put money that you aren't able to afford to lose because as I said, this is obviously gambling with the current market situation. it could be a good time to invest or it could be not.

As far as I know dot is a good coin, Polkadot is a solid project with standard and high quality team behind it, great ecosystem as well, still has more room to grow, so to see the price of dot and several similar projects drop in price is an opportunity to buy them low, nobody can precisely predict where the market is going and what the price would be, but if you have a long term goal in mind, it will make sense more, Polkadot is a long term project.

If you are planning short term, I think you shouldn’t invest now. It may go further low within this month and $7-$8 would be a great opportunity to have position.
On the other hand, if you are planning long term, I think this is a wise decision to invest in DOT now. However, following DCA would be the best strategy.

I think the same as you that we are in a bear market and buying is still not recommended. I think that most likely the price of all cryptocurrencies including polkadot will drop until October, we have to be able to buy at the right time.

Yes, $5 for a unit of Polkadot is a very reasonable price and also not too far to reach, but what matters at this point is not how much it will cost, but when the cryptocurrency market will recover, because without it, everyone just can daydream on every Altcoin price.

DOT is a good future project. an investment asset that I think if you are currently there will be no loss.
the momentum is in correction although not only DOT, there are several altcoins we can also consider.
but specifically for DOT, there is still great potential for future development. this year we see it. and maybe 2-3 years from now we will see something even bigger.

Are you kidding me? Polkadot price coming down to $5 dollar from how far it's already dropped would mean hell, bitcoin would have to go down to around maybe $20,000 dollar for us to possibly see polkadot at $5 dollar.
Dont get me wrong, I love to buy at that price too, but I don't think it's going to still drop that much from how much it's already dropped, polkadot is a great project and one which alot of people support, this is a great buying opportunity already, it's only a matter of time before the price picks up again.

For me now is the right time to buy it, indeed there has been a decrease to half of the ATH but I think this is the start of the next pump.

what do you mean if at least the price of Polkadot is $5? because right now the price of Polkadot is $11, therefore I think you are wrong, because if Polkadot is really good for investment, then it's impossible if the price of Polkadot is at least $5, because I'm sure if the price of Polkadot can make a new ATH price again in the near future (its ATH price is $49.69), so this is an opportunity to invest in Polkadot before the price starts to increase very high again.

Are you expecting the price to drop as low as $5? I don't think that is ever going to happen given how decent a project it is and considering it was trading around 50 bucks some time ago.

When you say, at least $5 though, it seems like you are expecting growth and the price to reach $5 which doesn't make sense because it is already more than double that right now.

I seriously believe that DOT will at least reach $25 before the end of this year so ultimately a very worthy investment, but please anyone don't take my word because the crypto world is just too unpredictable.

whether it's a development or an update on their platform. but what happens now is a correction. I'm sure all will return to market capabilities. regarding the product, I believe the market is already supportive with a strong community and trade.
if you want to invest in DOT, I think currently focus on market capabilities. correction is taking place and allows us to get DOT at a good price.

i prefer solana blockchain and will like to invest in solana than polkadot. i think polkadot is too complicated and might lead to users loosing funds unnecessary. funds are moving from polkadot and back to ethereum. we will see more investors in ethereum after the london hard fork. ethereum remains the number stock to invest into. next is binance before any other chain.

Whenever we're at correction market, we can accumulate more. But we need to be more aware of that time when market is having more possibilities for entering into bear market. So best to DCA at this moment instead of accumulating DOT with all funds. But dot is great for long term investment and diamond hand hodlers can accumulate it at anytime.

Needs to observe and assess more deeper, like what you have said we are now in this bear situation where we are unsure if the market will bounce back or will continue to fall.

Taking your call now is very tough, the chance that there are more dump is possible since most of the time holders are into panic when seeing that their assets are dropping tremendously,

I told you that I after Btc, ETH, and Bnb I will choose Polkadot to buy because I know that polkadot are fundamentaley too strong  and the main thing is that it has his own block chain it mean that it work on his own block chain instead of othere blockchain .
And the othere thing that it has bullish his price from 3$ to 50+$ which give a sign that this has a potential.
So if you want profitable investment you will choose Dot

I currently own 80% of my fund in USDC, BUSD and USDT. DOT is a great project, we expect the ecosystem to go live in the last quarter but I am currently scared of the market.

One thing about digital currency is unstable market price, Polkadot price rose to about $45, the $10 value now can rise to about $20 by the Q4 of the year! Let's keep holding, polkadot is ranked 10th amongst the rest altcoins, thats how promising it is!

BTC slowly going back to 20k is actually a strong possibility so... Yeah, i know it's debatable and probably unlikely but i see lots of groups that would love to see the price suppressed while they accumulate it. And they have more money to gamble then the rest of us.

It's a fire sale for cryptocurrency. Crypto has been on a downward trend for months and months, wait until we hit bottom. But do you know where bottom is? Due to not knowing, we can only buy partially. Imo don't buy now all along, it might go even lower. It's heading that way for sure. Cryptocurrencies and precious projects such as Polkadot will rise. To believe it is up to you; either believe it or not.

DOT potential is very good, where now DOT can be one of the coins that must be seen. polka dots have experienced a drastic decline, this must be used to buy when polka dots have decreased

With the price now, I think I will wait for more because the price is still too high for me. After all, I already bought Polkadot when it's low.
I think the price will go down below $10, and if that happens and the price can reach $5-7, maybe I will buy more.
If bitcoin is down to $26k-$28k, the altcoin will go down, which will happen to DOT.
So it is better not to buy in this situation because we do not know where bitcoin will moves.
Maybe buying for less than 1 DOT can give you more signs of where the DOT price will go so you can buy more later if the price is down.

Definitely something to add to the collection of good and solid coins in the wallet, polkadot is a project with many potentials up it sleeves, as time passes those potentials will gradually unravel to show the capability of this project, we shouldn't only see the price value but the potential of the tech and service to the crypto community, as the price is low, the only thing left to do is buy what you can, you never know what the future holds, the crypto ecosystem is just getting started.

many people believe Polkadot will be a more valuable asset than now in the future. we can only make a plan for the future with DOT. because we know how they did something big this year. all successful, and the year is over. we will see their development gain momentum in the future. we'll be in a pretty bad market after this. but we'll see how DOT will survive.

The price could not only become the main concert but thing about the utility of the token itself. DOT was full with BS and parachain was a garbage product. So many DOT projects were still using ethereum or binance to run its platform and that means DOT was a failed protocol same as EOS.
There was no guarantee for the price of bitcoin to stay at this rate. Theer's no interest to pump it back to the 30k and as your prediction DOT may fall even deeper along with the btc price.

Indeed it's a good idea to buy any coin when the market is going through a bear run. But personally, I think there are much better projects and tokens to invest in than polkadot because no doubt polkadot is solid but it has been a long time since it existed now and I haven't seen the price do too well. In fact kusama token did much better than dot I think.

I guess cardano is a good option apart from the many others. I feel new projects are the right way to invest in cryptocurrencies because the chances of profit are higher in new and upcoming projects.

As long as there’s volatility in any form there’s the ability to make profit. Whether or not you’re good enough to trade it is a different story, I sure am not, nor do I have the time to sit and watch charts.

Watching charts or technical analysis just doesn't work for crypto. Everbody can draw some lines on a chart and say they predicted when the price goes up or down but thats nonsense.
Buy low and sell high is the way to go. Problem just is to determine what a low price is lol  ;D.

Though it is really a good chance to purchase DOT at these prices, development seems to be slow. The process of bidding for parachains is complicated . Those  cool projects are still in a queue waiting for the developers to launch their respective parachains.

It is not the time to hold DOT. Because Bitcoin continues to fall, it will take several months for the cryptocurrency market to recover.

Polkadot has quickly become one of the well-known cryptocurrencies in the market but when it was the time it keeps promising and showing potential. But now seems different because of the market situation probably. For me in my opinion if you want to invest in it make sure to make technical analysis first so that you can obtain specific information of that project, wherein if it has a potential to improve and can guarantee good profits in the future because mostly projects nowadays are very unpredictable if you will base only on what can be seen in the market, it's very skeptical to be honest so i suggest to do all things that can tell its a good decision to invest in it.

Polkadot is also the choice of all investors because it has a price that is not too expensive so that everyone can definitely buy Polkadot to invest. The decline in the price of Polkadot will attract the attention of investors to buy it. Polkadot price decline will not last long I'm sure after the next few months the Polkadot price will rise again, I think now is the right time to buy Polkadot.

if you look at the price maybe we can add our assets here but I suggest buying little by little because considering the current market is still unstable because if you look at the existing candles I think the polka will still go down little by little.

Look at Kusama. The Polcadot has great prospects when the auctions for parachains begin. This is a free opportunity to receive tokens of popular projects every year if you vote for projects, but for this you need to lock Polkadot coins for 1 year. A year later, you can vote again. There is a lot of competition in polkadot and shitty projects will not get into this network. It is on Ethereum or Binance chain that you can create new scam projects every week.

I bought DOT several times at a price of $ 27-25-22 and I don't think this is an expensive price for it. It is unlikely that we will already see a price of $ 5. This is a rather fantastic scenario, considering how much growth prospects Polkadot has.

It's recommended. Polkadot an incredible chance to have position, but personally I'll dive in later when manage to under $10 just my thoughts. I think market will dip again in a bit, I choose enter the party a little bit late. Buying more Polkadot every chance I can as usual so probably yes or not. Depends up to you whether you make entry or not.
